Pmt doc reset without cheque cancellation

Dear All,
After doing payment run & cheque generation, can I do FBRA to reset(only reset, not reset & reverse) Payment document (without cancelling cheque).
Surprisingly, system is allowing me to do this. My understanding was unless cheque is cancelled, we would not be able to reset pmt doc.
please clarify

By resetting you are only unlocking the connect that a payment document has with the invoice. then system don't care if it is check payment document or not. You will see the error if you will try to Reset and reverse the check payment through FBRA. Here you should use FCH8 instead to cancel the check.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Hi, I quitted Safari and press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons silmutaneously unti the Ipad turn off and on with the logo Apple appears but it has hanged on and fixed to the point. No. Not without access to a computer running iTunes. You do want to use your own computer so that you can restore from your backup and sync your own content back from iTunes.

IPod 4G does not start - Reset without success

i have a new ipod and did not used it the last weeks. I saw the battery was down and connected it to my USB. From the start i see only the Apple-Logo and then the machine shuts down and restart. After i made some Hardware-Resets without sucess i have no more idea what is happen with my brand new ipod. Any ideas ?

I would NOT do anything like opening the iPod because that would void the warranty.
You can try putting it into Disk Mode, if you have not tried that yet.

If it goes into Disk Mode, connect it to the computer and use the Restore button in iTunes to erase the iPod and initialize its software.

AppleID password reset without consent

Just concerned that my AppleID password was reset without my consent- I was asleep at the time! Tried updating apps on my iPhone today to be confronted with the login screen. Tried logging in...no joy. Hopped on my PC to find an email stating my password had been reset the previous evening. The support page has no "seek account help here" so the community is the last resort. Obviously there's a failing somewhere...

Sadly, this link doesn't work to get me to the reporting page. Once I click on the link for my country (UK), the bowser (chrome) is trying to load something but the ball just spins forever. Table for the cheque cancellation

I have a requirement like: Doc Posting is date is: 15/07/2014 and payment date is: 16/07/2014. Aging should be calculated?
The Biggest task is: Say they had a posted a vendor liability document on 15/07/2014 and payment has been made for the same on 16/07/2014.
The aging would be 1 one day. On the next day 17/07/2014 they realised the need to cancel they cheque for some XXXX reasons.
The cancellation of cheque is picking up the the document posting date which is: 15/07/2014. When they reissue the cheque for the same vendor on 18/07/2014. The aging is calculating as :15/07/2014 - 18/07/2014 which is 3 days. But client want the aging to be calculated from the reissue of the cheque.
Any help on this is really appreciated...

HI Rohit,
Check the date of check issue, system would be taking it as payment date PAYR-ZALDT not check print date PAYR-PRIDT.
Change the logic of ageing report make it to PRIDT.
Check the same, it will resolve your issue.

Is there a way to reset my iPhone (through itunes or other) that will prevent me from losing data?
Situation:
I have an iPhone 3G with ios4. Saturday night my phone acted weird, it would lock the screen every few seconds without me promting it (automatic screen lock is off).
To reset the phone I pressed the home button and the on/off button simultamiously. Instead of simply resetting it stuck on the Aplle logo.
Trying to get it going again, it went out.
Since than whenever I try to switch the phone on, it asks for a reset through iTunes (picture of usb + itunes in screen).
Since I have not been able to synchronise the phone for a few weeks, I was wondering if there is a workaround to prevend loss of data (for instance the recent photo's).
I sincerely hope there is a workaround.

Well, if you have a backup, that will save your text messages, settings, camera roll etc.
Not the music, photos, videos, contact etc.
So there is a way to restore without losing most of the important information. Since the music, videos and others are theoetically on your Mac/PC.

How can I do a hard reset without losing app data?

I have international texting on my phone and it's having an issue sending images to my friends overseas. The words go through but no media.
I have Verizon's More Everything plan and after two days trying to get this sorted on their end, they want me to try a hard reset and test the texting before I restore my backup to see if it's something in the phone.
the last time I had to do this I lost EVERYTHING regarding data in my apps. Some of the apps I have now I cannot afford to lose the info stored in them.
I need to make sure that I can restore safely once we are done with the troubleshooting.
If I have to manually put my items back in, HOW can I do that with the apps I really need the data preserved?
FYI - ALL my settings for iMessage are correct.
My international friends are not using iPhone AND I checked my settings there and they too are correct.
So, before I go and wipe everything out, can someone reassure me with some directions and ease my worries?

Is billing doc generated without PGI

Dear All,
Encountered an unique process.
Is it possible to create a billing doc without creating/doing PGI doc, but picking is done. (Though this is a Basic information to be known)
Am able to save the billing doc without doing PGI, which is not supposed to be done.
While creating billing in VF01 itself System should restricts with a warning msg as : "NO Billing Doc Generated" which am not getting for a particular Client, it just takes to the billing overview screen after VF01 and can save the billing document which is not the right method I guess.
Checked all the Sales & Billing doc type Document Types. How to solve this.

This will happen with the settings available in the copy controls between Delivery to billing so.
-->You go to VTFL transaction check is there any Z copy requirement used.
As per standard at header level copying requirement '003'
As per standard at item level copying requirement '004'
-->Even If the system is allowing you create billing document with out PGI with the standard requirements (003 and 004) then you take help from the ABAPer to check why it is happening and If you want you can correct it.
