PO creation problem for VND currency

Hi ,
We are using Extended classic scenario.... We are not able to create 1 Billion PO in VND ( VIetnamise Dong ) currency.
Translation Ratio is like VND to USD 10,000 : 1 and USD to VND 1: 10,000
Exchange rate - 1 USD = 18,400 VND
Is there any constraints in SRM system which does not support Billion value of VND.
We could able to create PO with INR and other currenies whos Translation ration is 1 : 1
Please let me know if anyone has idea about the same

HI,
Make sure the PO number range in ERP is same in SRM. Also have the external checkbox checked for PO number range in ERP.
Also have the same transaction type in SRM and ERP. Where the ERP transaction type should have external number range as the above mentioned profile.

In xp laptops client utility softwares are available with all makes, but with win 7 utilitys are not coming by default......
So what are options and available sourses for creating user profile with EAP-FAST in windows 7 laptops.
Any free univarsal client utility is available for windows 7 laptop.

Windows 7 should be able to do EAP-fast by default. If not you could download the latest Anyconnect client that also has the Cisco wireless supplicant in it.

Automatic ORDRSP idoc creation problem for customer order

Requirement;
When client received order from customer through EDI, while creating order it has to check is there any difference in the order quantity and confirmed quantity. If any difference reason code should set up automatically at line item level (I configured reason code as "Quantity short" and it's not big deal to get this in user exit). After inbound EDI order process, order response should invoke only one time that too first time (Not all the time for all orders) when there are line items exist with "Quantity short".
First I'm trying to kick out ORDRSP Idoc from manually created order. While creating order which has confirmed quantity less than order quantity I setup item level reason code as "Quantity Short".
I created condition table with conditions Sales org, Order type, Sold to party(from KOMKBV1) and item level reason code (from KOMPBV1). I maintained condition record, partner profile. But Idoc is not generating automatically after I created order manually with reason code at line item level.
Can any one help me on this.

There are two things here
1) the Output not getting generated
2) Output is triggered but IDOC isnot generated.
I feel the Output must not have triggered. this may be because generally the response IDOCs are riggered from the Header level and in the communication struture ( or in the condition record ) you have inserted a field from the Item level, so when the system is trying to trigger the output , the field value may be blank, you can check this in the determination analsysis and you may find an yellow icon in the field agains item reason code. you may have to modify the user exist to pass the correct value to this field.
an alternative way is to trigger the output manually and see if the idoc is geenrated or not.
If the output is triggered and the idoc is not generated. again look in the Processing log. there must be some error description why the IDOC is not triggered. Let us know the description of the error codes so that we can give an idea of where could you have gone wrong.

VPN problem behind ASA5505 -regular translation creation failed for protocol 50

Dear All,
I have to connect behind my ASA5505 with an VPN klient to an other site.
First time i got this failure.
"Deny protocol 50 src inside:192.168.50.X dst outside:x.x.x.x by access-group "acl_in" [0x0, 0x0]"
Than I opened our inside (src 192.168.50.0) network the UDP 500,4500 TCP 500,4500,10000 and ESP (dest x.x.x.x remote firewall ip).

access-list acl_in extended permit udp host 192.168.50.0 host x.x.x.x eq 500

After that i could connect for the remote firewall with vpn client but i couldn't reach any PC1s on there side and ping gives back no anwser.
Deny protocol 50 was solved but i got an other problem:
"regular translation creation failed for protocol 50 src inside:192.168.50.X dst outside:x.x.x.x"
I found somewhere thet lines can help:
crypto isakmp nat-traversal
inspect ipsec-pass-thru
But this wasn't usefull.
I tried a many thing but i'm stuck.
Could somebody help me what can i do to solve this problem?

Currency translation problem for calculated key figure

Hi All
I have a problem with the currency translation for a calculated key figure.
I have a requirement to show the MM consignment stock value in the specified currency from the selection screen.
For consignment stock, there is no value maintained in the system. So for this we need to calculate the value as below
Restricted key figure: RKFConsignment stock: Total stock with special stock indicator restriction "K"
Calculated keyfigure: Consignment stock value = Nodim( RKFConsignment stock) * (Standard cost / price unit).
Here, in the calculated keyfigure properties --> I have used a currency translation for the 0CALMONTH.
The query has selection on the 0calmonth.
But in the result the I am getting unexpected results.
Do we have any inconsistencies in the currency translation on the formulas?
Please help me on this.

I have noticed something. I changed my query date selection to Calendar day - Keydate instead of calendar month.
And I have changed the currency variable to fixed exchange rate "CHF", it is working fine.
I think I have some problem with the currency translation variable.
Could anyone of you please send me the currency translation variable for Calendar month with the below parameters
exch rate type : M
Time reference : 0CALMONTH
End of month
Target currency for a variable : < var created on 0currency>
For my report, i need calendar month selection, currency selection.
Please help me with your ideas.

I don´t understand what is your exact problem, as I don´t see any company code being specified. But maybe you should check in XK03 that the vendor master data is created for this company code/purchasing organisation!

Generic Data Source Creation Problem....URGENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need to create a Generic Data Source out of a table called VBSEGK... I was trying in the usual way with RSO2 , but when I press save button after entering the Table name the following error is coming:
" Invalid Extract Stucture Template VBSEGK of Data Source ZPARK_01"
and when I click on the error message its showing
Diagnosis
You tried to generate an extract structure with the template structure VBSEGK. This operation failed, because the template structure quantity fields or currency fields, for example, field DMBTR refer to a different table.
Procedure
Use the template structure to create a view or DDIC structure that does not contain the inadmissable fields.
VBSEGK is a standard table , so I cant change the Table structure. Can any one give me some idea of how to create Data source with this table ASAP ASAP please....

Reason and Prerequisites
The problem is caused by a program error.
Solution
The table or view used for extraction must have currency and unit fields within the field list of the table/view for all currency and quantity key figures.Otherwise the consistency of the extracted data cannot be ensured.To make the generation possible, check whether all key figures of your table refer to unit fields that are within the field list.If this is not the case, there are two possibilities:
1. A table is used for extraction.
Create a view in which you have a currency / unit field contained in the view for each key figure. The currency / unit field from the table must be included in the view to which the key figure actually refers.
Example:
Field WKGBTR of table COEP refers to the unit field WAERS of table TKA01. In a view that contains field COEP-WKGBTR, table TKA01 and field WAERS must be included in the field list.
If the currency or the unit a key figure refers to is not located in a table but in a structure, the key figure has to be removed from the view and read via a customer exit (see below). Structures cannot be included in a view.
ATTENTION!! Often the key of the table in which the referenced unit is located, does not agree with the key in the table with the corresponding key figure. In this case, the join condition of both tables is not unique in the view definition, that means for each key line of the table with the key figure, several lines of the table with the unit may be read: the result is a multiplying of the number of lines in the view by a factor corresponding to the number of lines that fit the key figure, in the unit table. To be able to deliver consistent data to a BW system, check whether the unit of the key figure in question should always have a fixed value. If yes then you can determine that in the view definition via 'GoTo -> Selection conditions'. If no, then you must proceed as follows:
a) Remove the key figure from the view
b) Define the DataSource
c) Enhance the extract structure by key figure and unit for each append (Transaction RSA6)
d) Add the key figure and the unit in a customer exit
2. A view is already used for the extraction
If it is not possible to obtain a unit of measure from a table on which the view is based, the unit field must be deleted from the field list.
A note in relation to the upward compatibility of BW-BCT InfoSources: BW-BCT 1.2B was not yet able to check units and currency fields. For this reason, it is possible that InfoSources which were defined in the source system as of BW-BCT 1.2B must be redefined as of 2000.1 in the manner described above. However, checks are absolutely essential for the consistency of the extracted data.

Portmap translation creation failed for udp src inside dst inside

Hi!
I have a problem with allowing traffic to UC500 subnets on ASA 5505 inside interface.
My asa is a main router with addres 192.168.1.1
UC500 voip box is connected to ASA's inside interface through UC500 WAN port with UC500 with 192.168.1.2 address.
Firewall and NAT on UC500 is disable
UC500 sip traffic works fine. voipbox creates its subnets for data and voip - 192.168.10.0 and 10.1.1.0. another important address is 10.1.10.1 which is UC500 CUE.
My problem is that from within ASA local network (192.168.1.0) i cannot reach UC500 subnets, neither can I reach ASA's local network from the UC subnets.

I tried exempting uc500 subnets on ASA but that didn;t work.
Funny thing is that I CAN reach the UC500 subnets when connecting with VPN to ASA...
Please help! I am not familiar with CLI.
I configured static route to 10.1.10.0 and since then I was able to ping 10.1.10.1 thorugh ASA;s VPN.

I have managed to solve my main problem by reconfiguring my switches vlans - enabling trunk port configs for required ports and allowing them access to both vlans.
Now I can see everything from all of my inside networks.
I continue my ASA adventures - I have managed to configure L2TP client access for my windows users, RADIUS authentication for domain users and yesterday night I have managed to configure site to site VPN with my RV120W router.

Currency Translation in Planning sequence with variable for target currency

Hello ,
i have a requirement, the cube contains multiple data in the Group Currency for multiple company codes. & I want to convert these amounts to another KF as local currency using planning sequence only (not using transformation, as the users want to do this when they require.)
For this, i defined a Aggr level , filter & Planning function with Currency translation selecting the source field as AMOUNT_GC & target field as AMOUNT_LC using the Currency Translation type ZCTGCLC.
The target currency is not know beforehand, as it depends on the company code of each records that comes in.
Hence, Currency translation type uses a Customer exit variable 'Z_R_0026' for target currency.
This is customer exit variable which searches the Master data table of the Company code & replies back with the local currency of that particular company code (derived value from the company code variable also in teh filter).
However, when i execute this planning sequence, it gives me an error saying, "no value found for variable 'Z_R_0026'
1. when edit the CMOD code, to return only say "EUR" the planning sequence runs fine.However when i use this select statement to fetch the corresponding value of the currency using the company code reference from the company code master data table, it gives the above error. it seems to be a problem with the select statement.

has anyone tried this earlier ?

I have a Question.
If RSCUR were to only accept a Date InfoObject , it would be placed under a differnt heading.
The Tab is "Currrency" & the sub-Tab is "Target Currency"
so i guess, it should accept other infoObjects as well.
Moreover, the help on that InfoObject buttons says
"Specification of an InfoObject (Characteristic) in which a currency
attribute is stored in InfoObject maintenance. At runtime, the
associated currency attribute is determined using the characteristic
value and this is interpreted as source or target currency."
& i have already defined 0currency as a attribute of 0comp_code. so this should work ideally.
almost similiar CMOD code i have used for other too, but i dont know why only this one is getting struck.

GR/IR amount Diffrences between MIRO and MIGO for Document currency

Dear Friends,
I have one issue in MIRO Document posting, I will explain the issue by below steps.
1. I have created Purchase Order with option "Exchange rate fixed" and my PO Exchange rate is 1.8700
Purchase order details
Quantity - 2, Price - 23,376.85 and Total PO value - 46,753.70 EUR ( Document currency), local currency is SGD
2. We posted Single Goods Receipts entry for the above PO and system took exchange rate from PO (1.87)
GR Accounting document value - 46753.70
3. We have create two invoice documents for the above single Goods Receipts.
First invoice posted with correct value and accounting entries are below
Debit - GRIR Clearing account - 23, 376.85 EUR - 43,714.71 SGD
Debit - Material account - 0.00 EUR - 2272.23 SGD
Credit - Vendor account - 23, 376.85 EUR - 45,986.94 SGD
4. Problem in Second invoice posting only, Refer below accounting entries
Debit - GRIR Clearing account - 29,221. 06 EUR - 43,714.71 SGD
Debit - Material account - 0.00 EUR - 4219.52 SGD
Credit - Vendor account - 23, 376.85 EUR - 45,986.94 SGD
Credit - Material account - 5844.21 EUR - 0.00 SGD
Now my questions is why system posted extra one credit line item with value 5844.21 EUR for second invoice, I tried to simulate this same situation again. but I couldnt get this extra line item for credit.
Please advice and guide me.

Both Invoice header details Exchange rate is followed by Exchange rate table. But it did conversion based on PO Exchange rate.
We didn't maintain Exchange rate type EURO for the currency EUR to SGD.
Normally system will post the exchange differences in local currency not in Document currency.

After update to ECC 6.0. Do good receipt for subcontracting purchase order with account assigment 'E'.The system show the error message(KI235)----Two cost elements (Change in Stock (Subcontracting)&Outside processed fee) haven't CO account assignment.but the field status for sale order is option entry , when I default cost center for the cost element in OKB9.the system post the material document and generate the following accounting document.

When use MIGO to do good receipt for subcontracting Purchase order, for consumption account((Change in Stock (Subcontracting)-41010102&Outside processed fee--41031000) ,why the system dont recognize the sale order filled as CO account assignment?

All the creation dates for my files are wrong?

I've had this problem for a long time but I finally want to fix it once and for all. All the documents, pictures, and other files on my computer have the same creation date - 1/5/09. When you right click a file it shows the correct creation date but if I just left click it then it shows the wrong date. is there a way i can fix it?

The creation date of your system will be the same for most of your system documents; there's easy no way to change this information. However, you might also see a more current date, indicating Modified information, and that will be more current.
There are computer commands that will blank out much of your system data, but that's to be done in cases of major problems. Don't worry about the creation date of your computer/data.

I have followed below steps
I have machines sun fire v245 O/S is Solaris 10 sparc. Wants to configured suncluster3.1
1) Installing the packages with the installer
2) Scintlla and define the nodes.
3) Iam not using cluster switches and Through Crossable using I connect to directly to two nodes
4).iam not selecting quorum device
after finishing scintlla , I got below error

Currency conversion type with variable for target currency

Hi,
I use a currency conversion type with a bex variable for target currency in a query in order to convert a Key Figure. It works fine but instead of short text description there's the technical description of the variable in the selection screen. How can i change the description of the variable ?
For information, in the bex, we can't see the variable in "variable sequence". I use BI 7.0

Hi,
The problem was that in the maintenance of the currency translation type the option Target Currency from Variable was checked. As a consequence in the properties of our key figure the drop-down-list Target Currency was set to from variable with no chance of changing it (it was grey).
What we can do was to choose the option Target Currency Selection with Translation instead of Target Currency from Variable. Now, in the properties of the key figure we can choose the variable in the dropdown-list Target Currency and tick the option Variable Entry. As a result, the variable shows up in the query properties and we can change its arrangement.

Information required for all currency formats settings.

I need information in Web Dynpro Java for currency format.
currently I have following fields in application:-
1.Wrbtr Amount in document currency
2.Waers Currency Key
In local dictionary I could see Amount type as simple type in external representation I could see #,###.00## format.
This format has a problem with Yen currency that if ECC shows 1000.00 then Portal shows only 100.00.
Please let me know how dictionary works about pair of keys an values of above fields.
Please let me know solution of this problem.

to correctly format BigDecimal price values depending on a given currency YOU MUST apply structure binding:
- define a dictionary structure with a currency field AND an amount field and relate the amount field to the currency field.
- bind a context node to this structure so that the context attributes are created from the sturcture fields.
In this way the Java Dictionary Runtime will correctly format the decimal places for the amount depending on the given currency key (see ISO 4217). For the Jordanian Dollar JOD three decimal places are rendered, for the Japan Yen (JPY) zero.
