PO creation problem with classic scenario

Hi All,
We are in SRM 7.0 nad have mapped extended classic scenario. Now we want to map the Classic scenario only for a specific company code. So, my question is can we map the classic scenario on company code specific.
I tried maintianing the document type & number ranges in R/3. Maintained the number ranges & transaction type in SRM.
Also implemented BADI BBP_EXTLOCALPO_BADI.
But after creating the SC the status is "Approved" but no PO getting created in ECC. On observing RZ20 there is an system error for the number ranges.
Please let me know if I am missing some steps.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Abey.

HI,
Make sure the PO number range in ERP is same in SRM. Also have the external checkbox checked for PO number range in ERP.
Also have the same transaction type in SRM and ERP. Where the ERP transaction type should have external number range as the above mentioned profile.

  • IDOCs not generating with classic scenario

    Hi,
We are with SRM 7 with Classic Scenario.
Issue : SRM Org. structure is replicated from ECC system through IDOCS. But, suddently, no IDOCs are getting generated in SRM after we run PFAL in ECC.
IDOC is getting created in ECC after we run PFAL but not creating in  SRM.
    Your inputs are appreciated.
    Thanks
    Nag

    Hi,
    We have faced same issue.
You first check with tcode WE05 in both SRM & ECC. You will get to know which idocs present (transferred).
You can process unexecuted idocs using tcode BD87.
After processing idocs you must run distribution model.
This way we resolved our issue.

  • PO Creation Process in Classic Scenario

    Hi
I want to understand the exact PO creation process in a classic scenario. Once the buyer clicks on 'Create Purchase Order' in the SOCO, what are the series of steps that are triggered till the PO number gets displayed in the SOCO screen?
I assume that the shopping cart has all required data and ready for PO creation.
    With Regards
    Sathya

    Hi,
The shopping cart is created and approved in SAP Enterprise Buyer. The remainder of the procurement process takes place in the backend ERP system(s) and all other follow-on documents, such the purchase order, goods receipt/service entry sheet and invoice, are located there. With SAP Supplier Self-Services, you have partial supplier involvement for the operational procurement business scenarios when buying materials. There is no support for services.

    SAP Enterprise Buyer
    Purchase Order
    Backend system
    Goods Receipt

  • PDP with classic scenario

    Hello,
I am working with SRM 7.0 and ECC 6.0.
    1) I would like to know how do you transfer PR to SRM in classic scenario?    Is it the same as for extended classic scenario (using program BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER)?
    2) How do you create PO in backend for direct procurement in classic scenario ?  I was reading different threads and I found that I need to apply a BADI to clear the account information.    Is this correct?
    Thanks in advance!
    Martí

    Hi Martin,
As mentioned by SAM, you can transfer the requirements from ECC system to SRM system using newly introduced BAdi 'ME_REQ_Sourcing_cust'. BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER' is no longer used. However, your backend ECC system has to be on ECC 6.0 enhancement pack 4. otherwise, you still need to use the prog you have mentioned.
Yes, you can still use classic scenario for direct procurement by claring the accounting info in SRM. there are already number of threads for the custom solution.

  • Problems with planning scenarios

    Dear all
I've a huge problem with the scheduling of a project. I hope I can explain it properly.
I've created a project with some networks in it. The planning scenario is free scheduling and strict bottom up. I'm using the backward scheduling.
Some of the networks, which are connected with the "Main" Network now are not scheduled properly. For example I have an acitivity in the "Main" network which is connected with a FS relationship to an activity (this activity has set up a constraint earliest possible) of another network. When I'm carrying out the scheduling this activity is planned much later than the activity in the Main network. In some other similar networks the scheduling is carried out regurarly.
Now, when I'm changing the planning scenario to bottom up, canceling the start date in the network of concern and making a new scheduling of the whole project, the activity is placed in the right period. When I'm changing back the planning scenario and rescheduling the project once more, the activity is again postponed, even further in the future than before.
is somebody out there who is able to help me?
    many thanks

  • Problem with Classic

    I'm running OS 10.4.11 on a G4 iBook.
Have also loaded OS 9.2 and the two updaters 9.2.1 and 9.2.2. I see each of these on my desktop. The
    OS 9.2 folder appears complete.
    PROBLEMS INCLUDE:
When I go to an app that requires Classic, Classic begins to load, the progress bar shows just a bit of blue, and then it appears to hang. In this case I'm using OS 9.2.
When I try to upgrade to OS 9.2.1 Classic always starts, despite how I set the Classic preferences, and the updater app does not function.
Ditto behavior for updated 9.2.2, but I know I must first successfully update to 9.2.1.
The big problem is getting Classic to work correctly. What am I missing?
    Thanks
    Robert

So, that is the OS 9 System folder on the desktop?
If so, it should be in the hard disk drive; and the
companion Applications 9 folder, there also.
Does the computer you have support Dual Booting?
If the computer is an older iBook, some of them did.
OS 9 Drivers... need to be installed prior to any OS.
The iBooks which shipped with an OS9.2.2 system
may be unable to use the OS9.2.1 or older software
in an install or update mode in the computer. They
shipped with a newer OS 9.2.2 that was not retail.
Unless yours is a second version first model White G3
and then, it may have shipped with an OS 9.1 restore
disc on CD, along with an older OS X 10.0. These
would be upgraded while running from OS 9.1. If you
only have an OS 9.1 version, the upgrade downloads
may not work. (Somewhere, on disc, I have a tech disc
that will upgrade OS8.6 to 9.2.2; a rarity.)
The RAM amount you say yours has, indicates to me
and the data I've read about iBooks, that it is a G3
model, and there were several in a row using 640MB
RAM as a max, and they could dual-boot with their
original OS9.1 system and the supplied OS X. From
the booted 9.1, you can upgrade to 9.2.1 & 9.2.2.
This may involve a retail OS 9.2.1 install disc; if the
updaters don't work, or if you need a boot CD 9.2.
Did you get your OS 9.2.1 update from a reputable site
such as Apple support, or another OK one, such as:
    http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/6214 ?
You will have to use an 'Identify by serial number' site
(such as I have posted) to tell more about the computer
so other databases can be used to know more about it.
And more about the software set included with it. The
OS9 version, if it can be used to boot the computer,
would require the hard disk drive to have OS9 Drivers.
Those would be installed on a bare, reformatted drive
before OS 9 or OS X were installed. With OS9 boot
restored (if that model supports it) then the OS9 can
    be used to upgrade itself.
An external drive, set up as a boot volume, could be
used to update an OS 9 system. However, if the iBook
is a dual-boot computer, without OS9 Drives in it, the
computer won't boot OS9, & can only see it as classic.
That may slow your update to 9.2.2 if not prevent it.
(There is a way to update Classic, but not sure how.
My dual-boot and classic-only Macs have used just
    OS 9.2.2.)
See Mactracker's iBook information, from their download
database, read it in another computer: http://mactracker.ca

    Good luck & happy computing!

  • Problem with MTO scenario-urgent

    hi everyone,
our client is using MTO process, where they will exchange halb materials for the fert level production order. i.e according to MTO sales order will trigger procurement seperately at all levels of bom( as sales order stock). what is happening at the client side is they are converting plnd orders to production orders generated in the stock requirement list for HALBS, as thier wish they want to use these randomly for fert production,
    costs differences are arising.....
    so kindly suggest a solution
    thanks
    madhu

    Hi Madhu,
Your requirement is simple. If my understanding is right in your scenario you have a FERT (A) which is MTO and the assemblies/components (B) used for manufacturing it is a stock item or MTS.
For component A you have to define in material master MRP view 3 with planning strategy - 20 and in MRP4 maintain "1" for Individual and Collective requirement indicator.
For component B you have to define in material master MRP view 3 with a suitable planning strategy -(Not= 20) and in MRP4 maintain "2" for Individual and Collective requirement indicator.
This would resolve the problem. Reward your points,
    thank you,
    Regards,
    Prasobh

  • Problems with classic downloads from OS X machine on OS Classic

I recently acquired a G3 Powerbook in addition to my imacs. The G3 is running mac os 8.6 (using to run old programs I had from my early mac days). My problem is this:
I downloaded some classic apps on my iMac (which is running OS 10.6.1). I put them on a usb flash drive and when I transfer them to the powerbook, it does not recognize them as applications. It actually wants to see them as the generic "document" and has the symbol for PC Exchange on it.
Is there something that OSX does not copy (resource wise) and is there a way to fix this?
    Thanks

    Hi, Christopher -
Is there something that OSX does not copy (resource wise) and is there a way to fix this?
In some ways OSX can behave like a PC. OS 9 and earlier Mac OS's use embedded File Type and Creator codes to let Finder know what app to open a file with, and to let the app know what kind of file it is. In the case of an app itself, its Type code lets Finder know that it is an app and not a document.
OSX does not use these codes, and, if a file is decompressed on an OSX-running machine after downloading it, those codes can be lost.
A similar thing will happen if the intermediate media, a flash drive in this case, has been formatted as a PC volume rather than a Mac OS Extended or Mac OS Standard volume.
The solution is to not decompress the file after downloading it. Instead, copy the still-compressed archive, which usually has a filename ending in .sit or perhaps .sit.hqx, to the older Mac. Better is to do that after refomatting the intermediate media to a Mac format. Do not attempt to open the file while it is still on the transfer volume - wait until it has been copied to the older machine's hard drive.
Once that is done, the .sit or .sit.hqx file should open when double-clicked on the old machine. Sometimes it won't open that way - Stuffit changed its codes; archives created in v. 4 or v. 3 may not respond when double-clicked if Stuffit Expander v. 5.x or later is in use. The solution for that is to drop the archive onto the icon for Stuffit Expander. The archive should then open, and the file(s) inside it then can be extracted.

Yes. We'd installed release patch (patch_Identity_p8484010_9102_Generic) before we applied the BP12.
Version.prop file under the xellerate\config directory included:
    Before BP12:
    build.number=9.1.0.1865.28
    product.version=9.1.0.2
    After  BP12:
    build.number=9.1.0.1866.50
    product.version=9.1.0.2
I hope you can help us with this problem!
    Thanks you.

  • Problem with Integration Scenario involving BPM

    Hello All
I've created simple async Integration Scenario.
Sender is SOAP, then message is being processed by BPM Integration Process (some simple mapping inside - for now it is just proof of concept - later on it will split messages etc.) . Receiver is JDBC adapter.
Now, when I test Sender-> BPM (using Test Configuration tool ) - works fine, no errors.
BPM -> Receiver - as well.
But when I'm trying to test Sender -> Receiver it fails (so it does when I call Sender webservice from external tool).
    Error is:
    Receiver Agreement
    <Trace level="1" type="B">CL_XMS_PLSRV_OUTBINDING-ENTER_PLSRV</Trace>
    <Trace level="2" type="T">O U T B O U N D - B I N D I N G </Trace>
<Trace level="2" type="T"> Cache Content is up to date </Trace>
    <Trace level="2" type="T">determine OUTBOUND BINDING for: </Trace>
    <Trace level="2" type="T">-SENDER  </Trace>
    <Trace level="2" type="T">-RECEIVER </Trace>
    <Trace level="2" type="T">http://company.com/xi/sn.DataOut </Trace>
    <Trace level="1" type="T">error with outbound binding. </Trace> <Trace level="1" type="T">
No standard agreement found for , SENDER, RECEIVER, http://company.com/xi/sn, DataOutt </Trace>
    <Trace level="1" type="E">CL_XMS_PLSRV_OUTBINDING-ENTER_PLSRV</Trace>
In fact there is no Receiver Agreement for this pair of sender-receiver, but in scenario those are connected via BPM.
What am I missing in configuration to force PI to send messages correctly?
    TIA
    Regards
    Maciej

    Hi Maciej,
If you are trying to test it from the RWB -> Component Monitring-> Integration Engine-> Test Message option, then you should not be giving the receiver system and interface details.
Just specify the details of the sender system, interface name and namespace.
Give the user id and pwd details.
Give the Quality of service as "Exactly Once".
Paste the payload and click on SEND button. (DO NOT GIVE THE RECEIVER SYSTEM details).
    It will work.

  • Problem with HTTP Scenario....

    Hello ,
While working with the (http >BPM> RFC & FILE ) scenario ,
    I am getting following error...
    <b>
And while using the http Client I posted the test xml ...But I am unable to see it in the SXI_MONITOR...</b>
And using RWB --> Componet Monitoring --> Integration Engine --> Test Message I triggered the Test XML
then its going to sxi_monitor but giving error...
    <b>
"The process does not support the given synchronous interface or does not support synchronous messages"
    </b>
    what should I do....
Please help me in this regard...

    Satya ,
Is it a syncronous interface ? if it is syncronous interface if you want to see that in logs then you have to enable Logging for syncronous in SXMB_ADM .
    Is it enabled ?
Are you able to post the HTTP request using HTTP client ?
And using RWB --> Componet Monitoring --> Integration Engine --> Test Message I triggered the Test XML
then its going to sxi_monitor but giving error...
The process does not support the given synchronous interface or does not support synchronous messages"
In the above mentioned error statement it is clearly stating that this stand alone test interface tool in RWB not support this scenario.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance .

    Kishore

  • Problem with Synchronous Scenario

    Hello Experts,
Right now i am working on a synchronous scenario RFC <-> 3rd party.
RFC, with other data, passing one table to XI and 3rd party, but in response RFC will require the same table back.
Now here in XI we are not storing synchronous messages in success case. So can anyone tell me that if i want that table in reply also, what should i do?
I was thinking of option that while i communicate with 3rd party, we will create file also in which i will store that table data with the message Id, and while i will get reply back from 3rd party i will read this data from the file and then will pass it back to RFC.
But m not sure that in response how i will read that file? and will i be able to delete that file or not?
Please reply me as soon as possible as i have to give this option to my client.
    Hope the question is clear.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Hetal

    Hey,
you can do this in a couple of ways.
Fisrt, you can create a file as already mentioned and access the file from your server.
second, you can create an internal table and access it via hash map.
for both the solutions you need to create a udf.
    regards,
    Milan.
