PO form (SAPSCRIPT form) setup

hi,
is it possible to have multiple PO form (SAPSRIPTs) per given plant? i.e. plant 1 will create/use PO form1, plant 2 will use PO form2. the purpose is have one plant print it in an 80 col. printer landscape, the other form on a 132 col. printer.

Hi Rico,
If your goal is to print two different forms from the same PO, one possible approach is as follows:
(1) Set up two output message types based on NEU -- such as 'Z80L' (for 80 col. landscape) and 'Z132' (for the other). Both could be hooked into the same print program (if need be) yet different SAPscript forms.
(2) Build a condition table with plant as part of the key.
(3) Configure output determination for the relevant procedure to include these new message types, with the plant condition table in the access path for both of them.
(4) Load unique plant-specific condition records under each output type, specifying the appropriate printer in the communications tab (e.g. plant 1 would go under Z80L with printer ZABC while plant 2 would go under Z132 with printer ZDEF).
During document-based automated output proposal, SAP will scan through both output types' condition records. When it finds a plant that matches the one on the PO it will act on the corresponding message type which will then route the correct form to the correct printer.
Note: One thing you didn't mention is whether the plant field you wish to use is at the header level (ekko-reswk) or item-level (ekpo-werks). If the latter, there may be additional work involved. In any case, I hope the above is enough to get you started.

Is there a way (in SAPScript) to have two forms (sapscript forms defined in SE71) printed in a single page ?
What I would like to achieve is to have several sapscript forms defined in the system and to be able to combine them in a single page dynamicallly - I mean: the printing program would decide which of them should be output.
I have one sapscript form which I want to output always - it contains some header and main window with some items. Apart from this form I need to print some additional information on the same page.
This additional information may be formated in a few different ways - depending on the case. I need to include this info at the top of the page - formatted in one of possible ways mentioned. The rest of the page is always the same (some header and main window with items).
I know I could just use windows definitions in a single sapsript form and let the printing program decide which of those windows to print. But my problem is: I would like to have different sizes of the information printed at the top of the pages - when I define a window I must declare height which will be occupied on the page - I'd like to have different height values for different cases.
Is there a way to achieve that ?

It is not possible.
But instead of creating sapscript, why dont you create different standard text and call in same sap-script based on condition.
You can create standard text in tcode so10. Its similar to editor in sap-script.

Sapscript form print as PDF

Hello,
is there a way to setup a printer that we can print sapscript form into a PDF file?
We don't want to go over the spool request and use RSTXPDFT4.
I have already setup a printer with device type PDF1, Host Spool Access Method F:Printing on Frontend Computer and Host Printer __Default. But for some reasons it doesn't work. We are running SAP Enterprise 470.
Any help?

You must choose a FILE printer. See these notes:
[Note 576973 - Creating a file printer on a Windows PC|http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/576973]: steps to add a Windows (if it's Vista, see note 1164132) printer of type Generic/Text only, and to create an output device in SAP to print to this printer. It does not explain that we may just change the port of an existing printer.
[Note 1164132 - Front-end printing on Windows printer with FILE port|http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1164132]: note 576973 applied to Windows XP and before, but it doesn't work anymore on Windows VISTA because the dialog box to enter the file name is no more displayed. A change in SAPGUI 7.10 was made (and it works only with access method G) to display a SAP dialog box to enter file name.

Build COA to a SAPSCRIPT Form

We have a need to sometime in the new future to build a COA from a newly acquired Company. The time window will be small to complete this task.
The Functional analayst would like to just setup a basic SAPSCRIPT form with a basic header, body of properties, and some comments. However, he seems to want to do this without a Cert Profile (QC01). We have some Print Programs, and Forms I can use as a template. We were going to have an interface load the properties into an SAP Z table and extract from there.
Can someone tell me the basics of creating this new Form by extracting the properties from the Z table? Also the basic setup configs etc.
Any suggestions will be helpful.

It is not possible to create form by extracting the data from ZTABLE dynamically, we need to create explicity each form with properties from ZTABLE.

U jusat go to the form & in the Header,click on the Basic Settings button.
In that u'll have Setup Page tab,in that u'll have an option called Page Format.There u can mention the format u want.

SAPSCRIPT form - Text is not porperly displayed

in my SAPSCRIPT form, I am getting a text from PERFORM stmt. in the PERFORM , the text is coming correct, but in the form , it is showing only half of the text.
the code

Then in the form, just display

while debugging, the text is correct till TS_OUTTAB but when it comes to the form L_HAUL_LONG, it is truncated.......what should i do..

THE QUERY IS AS FOLLOWS:
I WANT TO ADD DATA MODE OF TRANSPORT FROM THE INVOICE DOCUMENT. THE TABLE AND FIELD IS T618-BEZEI.
SO I COPIED THE STANDARD FORM TO ZSD_EXPORT_FJCI AND THE STANDARD PROGRAM TO ZRVADAUS1.
I SUCCESSFULLY FETCHED THAT FIELD DATA.
I APPEND THE STRUCTURE 'ZAV55EFJCI' TO ADD THE ADDITIONAL T618-BEZEI FIELD.

you said you copied layout(form) SD_EXPORT_FJCI to ZSD_EXPORT_FJCI,
you updated program to fetch datat & populate v55efjci-zzbezei field.
Now
- you need to modify layout(form) ZSD_EXPORT_FJCI via SE71 to insert your field in one of the windows where it has to be printed (sap script knowledge is required here).
- you need to either modify SAP output type FJCI to use your program/layout(form) or you need to create your own output type and assign your form/program to it, and in addition to that if you define your own output type - yo have to add it to output determination procedure, to access sequences, add condition records to condition table... so it's picked up by the invoice.

How to make an unformatted sapscript form

"If you want to pass on the information to be printed to one printer only, and this printer then takes care of editing and layout, you can mark a special form for this purpose (see Release Information SAPSCRIPT). In this way, the text is passed on unformatted. This is of interest, for example, if you are using thermal-transfer label printers
... without any links. I've been looking for this "Release Information SAPSCRIPT" but can't find it, does anyone know where?
I need to print labels to a thermal printer (Paxar Monarch) but if I put the print codes inside a sapscript form, the printer always gives errors. If I write the same printcodes directly to the printer, it works fine. However, I need to use sapscript forms for customizing reasons, but the form just needs to pass on the printcodes as unformatted text.

Passing the data from a internal tabe to sapscript form

Hi folks,
I have an question, how to pass an each character value of a field into the sapscript form separately,
I have an field value from an internal table in the print program say - itab-ssn = 123789345 and I need to pass each character separately into the sapscript form. How do you write the code in the sapscript text editor
I tried this piece of code did not work...
&itab-ssn(0)&,, &itab-ssn(1)&,, &itab-ssn(2)& and relaised it adds up characters as I go on...
I just need 1 2 3 7 8 ...
How to do that?

Formatting option +n(a) where n is the offset and a the length

Call a function module from within a sapscript form

not being an ABAPer i have the task of changing the Invoice SAPScript form.
i have made the necessary changes - just about... but they have asked that i include the VAT Number on the Invoice....
not too bad apart from different company codes have different vat numbers...
not knowing a better way to retrieve data from table V_001_B - i am using the print program -RFKORD50, is there a better way of getting the VAT Number by company code? I figured if i could call the FM to return the value, all well and good.., they do not want the print program changed if possible so was looking at alternate methods....
or am i trying to reinvent the wheel here?

Missing text elements in my sapscript form / Transaction F.17

Hello!
I'm on a sap ecc 6.0 system and have problems with a sapscript form.
My printprogram is sapf130d and my form is y_..._debi_slep.
Starting the transaction F.17 i get several lists and at last the error-list. This error-list says "in form y_..._debi_slep in the main window the following textelements are missing ...". Three elements 506, 595 and 606 are missing.
When i look into the form i couldn't see the elements. So with "/E 506", "/E 595" and "/E 606" i've inserted the elements in the main window and saved and activated the form. A new try with "F.17" raises the same errors. For my understanding the relevant elements should be in the info window in this case - i inserted them there, too ... but the errors remain the same. In the print program i can find all these textelements.
Perhaps someone out there has a solution or a hint for me?

The cause of error could be of any reason.
1) For driver program SAPF130D, following forms must be used, or customised by copying any of this below forms.. May be this could be one reasons for the error.
Forms
The following forms are used in the standard SAP R/3 System:
Form for Form name
Letter and Reply F130_CONFIRM_01
Check list F130_LIST_01 and F130_LIST_02
Results table F130_RESULT_01 or F130_RESULT_02
Error list F130_ERROR_01 or F130_ERROR_02
If you define your own forms, the form name should contain the identification code "F130".

You can use FM 'READ_TEXT'.
pass 'ST' for ID.
and 'TEXT' for OBJECT
and pass the name of text element to NAME u will get the
text element.

Get the current line no.(similar to sy-linno in report) in Sapscript form

Hi everyone,
In ABAP reporting, you can use sy-linno to determine the current line no.
But if in sapscript form,
does any system field to get the currect line no. or y-origin. ?
Just say the program is now runing and have written several lines in a window of the form.
AS         This is the first line
AS         This is the second line
AS         This is the third line
how to get the current line = 3 or yorigin '+3' LN?

Display sapscript form in Web Dynpro Java

Is it possible to print an existing sapscript form i.e. PO from ECC to my Web Dynpro application? I have successfully created a Web Dynpro Java application to create POs but now have a requirement to display or print the PO?
Can someone provide me with a sample code? I'm hoping to be able to do this without using Adobe.
