PO, GR and Invoice
Is there a transaction, report, or tables to build a query that could give me the Purchase Order Value$, Goods Receipt Value$, and Invoice Value$ for a specific time period? I want to find the variance between all three, thanks for your help.

I am having some fields related to Purchase order and Invoice creation, i have to find out the tables to which tables these fields belongs to.

VT02N - do PGI and Invoice for certain deliveries either based on certain conditions
Hi Friends ,
We are using VT04 for creating shipments . While shipment completion stage in VT02N an activity profile has been maintained which does both the Goods issue and Invoice.
We have a business requirement , PGI and Invoice should be created only for specific set of deliveries based on certain conditions.
Is there any standard way to do this or by using user exits.
Please guide.

A/R extractor - Material and Invoice Amount
Hi Gurus,
I just wanted to extract Material and Invoice amounts for Accounts Receivables from R/3 to BW?
Is there any standard extractor for the same.
I found 0FI_AR_4 but it doesnt have material field.
How can I link the BSID table with material.
Is it via Sales Document (VBELN)?

Invoice is part of AR but material (0material ) is not part of AR .It is part of SD .If you are looking for this field you may not find it .
You can check standart key figure and Characteristics available under it in this link :

If you want material you need to use SD material .If you want these fields for a report then you can make a multiprovider with AR and SD cubes Having both material and Invoice .

Importing Sales orders and Invoices thru DTW
Hi every one,
I am facing a unique problem when using DTW to import sales orders and invoices through DTW.
I am using the two templates- Documents and Document Lines. But the imported Invoice or the sales order(In both cases) the dicount field in the row is taking a negetive discount value. Let me elaborate....
1. I am taking a BP which has been alloted a Particular pricelistcode in the BP Master.( say it be Purchase price).
2. Now In the Doc_lines Template I have put the value in the price column- (eg. Rs. 500).
3. Now the itemcode used in the template is already having a masters and the prices are also defined in SAP B1. Say the Purchase price defined for the item is Rs.400
4.When I am importing the order/nvoice then the discount field in the row automatically takes a value of -25%, the unit price has the value Rs.400 and the Total Field shows Rs.500.
( this Implies that the price I have suggested to Import i.e. Rs500 is some how not taken by the system. The system takes the price defined for the BP and then adjusts it with the price suggested by the user during import) So a negetive discount is taken.
On the other hand if the same procedure is followed for an item where the prices are not updated in the master data then there is no such problem. the unit price field reflects the price which is given in yhe template.

In Admin > System init > Document Settings > General Tab ..Calculate the Row total using Unit price ....... leave this unchecked
Also, at the Document_lines template fill the discount column with 0

Report to list manual changes to conditions in sales orders and invoices
Hi experts,
Is there a Standard Report to list the manual changes of pricing conditions in sales orders and invoices?
Should be a selection on the field KONV-KMPRS.
Please advice.

In the Sales Order,Select Environment and then Changes to See all Changes made.
Follow the Same procdure for Invoice also.
There is no Standard report as such to see the changes.

Show the PO and Invoice Number along with Distribution Line Info
Does any one have some code that can show the PO and Invoice number along with the distribution line detail?
I'm tring to get to the po.po_vendors for segment1 and po.po_distributions_all but it screws up at the po.po_lines_all table which needs outer joins and it's just not working for me.In case Invoice Distribution is matched to a Purchase Order then
ap_invoice_distributions_all.PO_DISTRIBUTION_ID and ap_invoice_distributions_all.DIST_CODE_COMBINATION_ID is the link to po_distributions_all table

Profit Center Derivation in GR and Invoice documetns form MM component
Hi All,
My clien wants to set a profit center(B/S)999999 for only GR/IR clearing account (not on expense line item) on Goods receipt and invoice documents. At present it is getting derived from cost object assgined to the purchase order.
I tried using substituion(GGB1) and able to replace the profit center on GR/IR clearing account line item in Goods Receipt.
But after doing MIRO, the FI document shows the profit center assigned to the cost object in PO instead of the assigned profit center in substitution rule.
Please advise.

Ideally you should not use Substitution Rule for posting to a fixed profit center for MIGO and MIRO Documents. Logically this is not correct. However, if you still want to check if you have maintained profit center as a substitutable field in VWTYGB01. This has to be set to 15 for substitution at complete document level. Further you need to use a BADI to have the same populated. It woul dnot be populated with a simple Substitution rule for MM generated documents

Purchase order price and Invoice price is different
Hi Experts,
We have scenario like
EUR Exchange rage Soudhi currency
PO on 25.05.2008 -- 342000 * 5.91620 = 2023340.4
GR on 26.10.2008 -- 342000 * 4.82560 = 1650355.2
Invoice on 27.10.2008 -- 342000 * 4.82560 = 1650355.2
PO raised in May with that exchange rate
GR raised in October with above exchange rate
Invoice is showing with soudhi currency 1909180.80. Actually it has to pick up the 4.82 rate as per exchange rate table. I think there is no problem with table. Are there any other ways to affect invoice amount.
In the invoice amount there is no tax or unplanned deliver cost. Please reply.

Tables are VBRK & VBRP. For flow, go to transaction VF03, enter document number and hit 'Display Document Flow' button on toolbar
VBRK and VBRP holds billing/invoice details..
Billing Document:
Generic term for invoices, credit memos, debit memos, pro forma invoices and cancellation documents.
The tables are VBRK and VBRP.
2) -- once u do PGI the delivery document will be created. There is no way to stop it.. The thing u can to do go to the list of created deliveries in VL09. Select the delivery doc which u created. There u have the option of reversing the goods or canceling it.
Billing is generic term and u can say invoice is a type of billing document.
After PGI only way left is to cancel it by Using TCODE MBST as this Tcode is used to cancel any material document.

I had run MC$G report which dispalys Vendor/Order Qty/PO value/Gr quantity/GR value/Invoice quantity/Invoice amount (Posting date) / Invoice amount
In this issue is Invoice amount Posting date and Invoice amount fields were not showing same value.
Could you please tell me the difference between these 2 ??

Invoices are always primary documents.
Other billing documents, such as debit or credit memos, can be primary or secondary
documents. This depends on the order reason entered in the billing document.
For more information on how the order reason is used to control primary and secondary
documents, see Order Reason in Retroactive Billing [Page 8]. This section will also provide a
more detailed example of how retroactive billing works.
Primary Documents
Primary documents are:
Invoices
Credit memos that refer to returns
Credit and debit memos in which you have entered the relevant order reason
You can also assign an order reason to a memo request which then passes it along to
the referenced credit or debit memo.
Secondary Documents
Secondary documents are the following billing documents in which you have entered the relevant
order reason:
Credit and debit memo requests

The system displays such a document only when it has been created with reference to the

Invoicing: monitor Credit Memo and Invoicing posts
Hello,
Looking for an Invoice Management System expert. I would like to know the following two things.
1. On posting an 'incomming invoice' (with reference to a PO) in SRM this Invoice will be replicated to the R/3 back-end system. The back-end will and should use this invoice to follow-up the financial administrative process, how do they go about on this. The purchase order and Invoice will be posted to f.e. G/L 'Sources, with tax 19%'. What transaction do financial administrators use to book/post bank/liquid asset changes against these invoices?
2. Up on creating a credit memo, for example for 1 of the 2 line items that wern't delivered but where initially invoiced, do we need to create a Credit Memo in SRM with negative amounts or does the Credit Memo with positive amounts suffice (it will always be used as credit, positive doesn't mean it's debit)?

Subsequent Debit and Credits
After an Invoice is successfully posted and the transaction is completed, Vendor approaches with additional amount invoice or correction in Invoice.You would like to post this additional invoice with reference to the original PO and item. Subsequent Debit / Credit functionality allows you to capture this difference without canceling original invoice.
