  • Not picking up correct Exchange Rate

    Hi,
I have some queries that are not picking up the correct exchange rates.
The entries look like they are there in TCURR, but the query isn't using them.
Is there any program that can run a DB consistency check on currency tables?
    Br,
    Sonni

    Dear Sonni,
First of all are you sure that the exchange rates are coming correctly from Source to BW.
If not do the below mentioned procedure.
RSA1 --> goto source system --> right click on your source system --> select Transfer Exchange Rates --> select the mode of transfer and excute it
hope it will solve your problem.

    Hi,
There is a SAP Note related to your issue, have a look at this.
    [http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes/sdn_oss_sbo_adm/~form/handler%7b5f4150503d3030323030363832353030303030303031393732265f4556454e543d444953504c4159265f4e4e554d3d373033303238%7d]
...For companies using the Continous Stock System feature, there are three additional scenarios in which the row Exchange Rate will be copied from the base document regardless of the calculation method chosen in the 'Draw Document Wizard':
    a) Goods Receipt PO -> Goods Return.
    b) Goods Return -> Goods Receipt PO.
    c) AP Reserve Invoice -> Goods Receipt PO.
    Hope this helps,
    Son.

  • Issue in picking the daily exchange rate on Inovices.

    Hi All,
I am facing a problem with the daily exchange rate on invoices from a particular sales organization. We have an issue when an invoice is cancelled and then reissued. Currently the new invoice is taking the exchange rate from the original invoice which is incorrect, it should be pick a new exchange rate from the day that the new invoice is created.
Are there any configuration settings for this. Where do i need to check.
Would appreciate your help if you could help me.
    Thanks,
    Mercy

    Hi Mercy,
Go to transaction FBZP ->"paying company codes"-> double click the company code and check if the field
"Do not Post any Exchange Rate Differences" is flagged.
"Do not Post any Exchange Rate Differences
    Use
Ensures that no exchange rate differences are posted by the payment program.
If the indicator is set, no exchange rate difference posting is generated. The amount in the bank posting in local currency does not result from translating the foreign currency amount at the current rate but from the total of the local currency amounts from the settled items.
If the indicator is not set, the difference between the exchange rate at the time of posting and the exchange rate at the time of payment is determined for items which are posted in foreign currency. The payment program uses the translation rate in the currency table in the system for this purpose.
The exchange rate differences which have been determined are automatically posted for each payment. A valid table rate is used when you post to a bank account or a bank sub-account."
I hope I could be of assistance.

  • Revenue at fixed exchange rate and Tax at current exchange rate.

    Hello,
We have a requirement wherein a foreign currency sales order is negotiated at fixed exchange rate.  At the time of billing while revenue should be booked at negotiated exchange rate, tax(mwst) should be calculated at current exchange rate.
Is this possible and how ?
    Kindly share your expertise
    Regards
    Unit.

    Hi,
I think that it should be possible. Since I do not have system in front of me to test, I could not test it. As per the pricing procedure the price of the product gets defaulted. This can be manually modified and key in the revenue figure at a fixed exchange rate. In the case of tax calculation, the system will take the current exchange rate. If possible, pl take the help of SD Consultant.
    Trust this helps,
    Cheers,

  • Non-leading ledger depreciation area posting depreciation expense at current exchange rate - need to be historical

    Hi all,
We are facing an issue where we have a depreciation area "02" posting to our non-leading ledger. It is set to post depreciation only.
I noticed the depreciation expense is hitting the non-leading ledger and translating (CAD) into group currency (USD) at the current exchange rate. But in the leading ledger, the rate is historical.
How can we have the non-leading ledger post at historical exchange rates for depreciation postings?
    thx..

    Hi Jay,
Check the exchange rate type & translation date maintained for the non leading ledger in OB22.

  • Not able to post exchange rate difference in GL account configured in OBYC-

    Hi Guys,
As per my client requirement, We need to post exchange rate difference(PO & in IR) in GL account. I have configured setting in OBYC - Transaction key is KDM. Also i have selected check box for company code, at spro>MM>Logistics Invoice Verification>Incoming Invoice>Configure How Exchange Rate Differences Are Treated.
Still system is not able to pick the GL account which is defined in OBYC.
    Please help.
    Steps i have carried out:
    1. Assigned GL account in OBYC, Transaction key KDM
    2. selected check box for company code, at spro>MM>Logistics Invoice Verification>Incoming Invoice>Configure How Exchange Rate Differences Are Treated.
    3. Post PO (with some exchnage rate say 1.25)
    4.Post MIGO
    5. POST MIRO (Exchange rate is 1.50), Here when i simulate or post, the GL account is not picking to post difference.
    M i missing any config????
    I appreciate your help a.s.a.p,.
    Thanks
    Akshay

According to me, system wont calculate exch rate differences during MIRO.
Please make sure that, you have not selected the Exch Rate Fixed check box in PO header part, next to the exch rate field.
    MIGO Entry:
    Inventory/Expense  Dr 100USD   5000INR
    GR/IR......................Cr 100USD   5000INR
    MIRO Entry:
    GR/IR......................Dr 100USD   4700INR
    Vendor....................Cr 100USD    4700INR
In this case, system will create  0 USD & 300 INR for forex diff gl line item, when you clear the GR/IR open items only.
    Assume INR is your LC.

  • Exchange Rate Ratio Not Reflected in New Exchange Rate

We've reached the maximum exchange rate value between IDR and USD (9,999 to 1) based upon our current RATIO of 1,000 to 1.  In our sandbox, via t-code OBBS I've changed the ratio for IDR to USD to 10,000 to 1 with a Valid From date of 12/1/2008.  Then, via t-code OC41 I created a new IDR to USD rate with a Valid From date of 12/5/2008.  When I press enter, the OLD ratio of 1,000 is pulled in, not the new value of 10,000.  I've tried several different dates, ensuring that the rate date is the same or after the ratio date.  None of these approaches change the results.  Is there a RATIO activation step I need to perform before adding the new RATE?

The only way around this situation was to write down all the existing IDR-USD rates and their valid from dates and delete them via OC41.  Via OBBS, I left the existing 1,000 to 1 IDR-USD ratio in place and added the new 10,000 to 1 ratio with a date greater than the ratio entry but less than the first rate date.  I then readded the IDR-USD rates, adjusting the values for the new ratio, and they pulled in the 10,000 to 1 ratio.

  • Determination of current exchange rate in the cancellation billing document

    Hi All,
I have a requirement which I have described below. It would be helpful if you can mail your suggestions on the below.
    Existing logic in SAP:
While CANCELLING a billing document(VF11), system copies the exchange rate from the original billing document. The same is transferred to accounting from the header of the billing document. VBRK–KURRF to BKPF-KURSF.
    Change Requirement:
While CANCELLING a billing document, system should determine the exchange rate based on the current date (Date of cancellation)
The same should get transferred to accounting.
Example: Invoice dated 01.01.2005 if cancelled on 15.05.2006; the exchange rate should determine the rate that is valid for 15.05.2006 and not copy from the original invoice.
So VBRK–KURRF should not get copied from the Original billing document, but it should redetermine the rate based on the current date.
I need to know if there are any Exits or Bapi's or any kind of customization that I can do for this requirement.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Midhun.

    Hi midhun ,
    This is sai ,
I dont know whether this is precise solution for your rpoblem or not . but i have an idea regarding that
If the document is reversed then another document will be created for reversal
So in document type settings you have an option for using another exchange rate

  • How to block user to not to over right Exchange rates

    Hello Experts,
Can you please tell me how to block a user not to change/over right the system exchange rate during any document posting? is it is possible at all in standard SAP? or do we need any development.
    Thank you in advance.
    Bushan

after entering the exchange rates, while entering the document it will show the value, if you want to restrict the user to not to change, go to shd0 and change the screen layout, you can restrict.

  • Residual items are created with the current exchange rate

    Hello,
When a residual item is created due to a short payment for an invoice, the residual item is created with the exchange rate that is in effect on that day.  Is it possible to assign the exchange rate equal to the rate that existed on the original invoice.
Thanks in advance for you ideas.
    Karla

    Hi,
You can use transaction FB05 for doing the clearing there you would be able to input the exchange rate you need for clearing the AP/AR/GL items.
But the exchange rate at the time of making/receiving the payment or at the time of clearing is what should be applied.
    Regards

  • Getting current exchange rates with AS3

I am developing an AIR app for iOS and Android, it will need to know the latest exchange rates for a range of currencies each time it is used.
I have come across paid subscription currency information services from www.xignite.com and http://fxtrade.oanda.co.uk and also a service that appears to be free, from www.webservicex.net
Does anyone have any experience of these services, or know of any better ones. And can anyone suggest the best actionscript solution to access these webservice, e.g. REST, SOAP, or perhaps another way?

    Hello,
From you description, the internal-relay should be fine.<o:p></o:p>
I recommend you use telnet to check if 25 port is opened on firewall.
Please temporarily turn off firewall and antivirtus program to check the result.

  • Mac Mail Not Picking up Current Gmail In Inbox

I hope you can help me.  I am a brand new Mac user and am setting up my new iMac running Mavericks.  I added my gmail account successfully and wish to run it (as I did in Outlook) as a POP account (not IMAP).
However when I first added the account, it only downloaded an odd group of old emails from 2011 into my new inbox rather than any of the current mail sitting clearly on the gmail server in my Gmail Inbox.  The old 2011 emails are not even in my Gmail inbox.
Any ideas on what is causing this and how I can get my current inbox of Gmail to "deliver" to my new Apple Mail Gmail account box?
    Thanks!

I'm not sure but do you need to change your E-Mail Preferences in your Gmail-Account to use POP.

  • Current exchange rate

    Hi Guys,
    i need your help please.
    Following situation:
Transaction SE16: I open the table TCURR and set the RateType to a user defined type. I get a result table with content.
But if i try to run the BAPI "BAPI_EXCHRATE_GETCURRENTRATES" with the same user defined RateType i get NO results.
Is there any solution for this? If i set the RateType = 'M' then i get the identical results.
    Greetings.

Check Tcurf table as the bapi uses tcurf table and not tcurr table
