PO notification mail

Hello,
We are on SRM 5.5 (Extended classic scenario), we upgraded our system recently (support pack)
Before support pack, to generate a approval mail we stop the job (RBBP_NOTIFICATION_OFFAPP) and we execute the program RBBP_NOTIFICATION_OFFAPP/ RBBP_NOTIFICATION_WF_TEST to generated PO approval mail.
After support pack there is no job scheduled for mail generation, as soon as PO is approved a background task triggered and the mail generated. For custom development we need to add some more text into the mail so I want to debug mail generation process. Since the mail generation is happing in background process I am unable to debug
1.tried update debugging/ background debugging not works.
Pls reply is there any way to generate the mail form class or any program?

Hi
Wokflow debugging online during system processing is cumbersome and difficult. What I would suggest you can open the Task which sends email. Inside that there might be an object and method which is being called. You can open that object and method in SWO1 and try debugging in test mode.

But the issue is notifications are delivered to with in the domain itself but not to outside the domain i.e gmail and yahoo

In the above command in place of FROM and TO mail-id's if we use any personal mail-id's getting error message as "Unable to Relay".Please suggest is there any changes we need to done at SMTP server Level or OS level or Application Level.

How to manipulate the recipient adress of a notification mail?

Hi,
when a task is assigned to a user, LC can send nice notification eMails. Meanwhile the content (mail body and subject) can be freely formatted through custom eMail templates.
I need exactly this but in addition to that, I would need to change the recipients adress (to-adress) of the eMail. The user task and it's custom template does not support this.
Is there a way to somehow manipulate the recipient adress of a notification mail?
Here is the use case:
We have to create business process solution based on LC ES 2.5 BPM. In the user directory we have regular users with regular eMail-adresses. So far everything is standard and the latest LC version.
But some of the eMails sent by the system will contain sensible HR personell data. So we have the requirement, that these emails have to be encrypted. The customer has an encryption infrastructure in place, that we are asked use.
It is a proprietary Notes solution. An eMail has to be send to a specific inbox (i.e. [email protected]). The encrypter receives the mail and encrypts it. After that he forwards the mail to the original recipient. The adress of the original recipient it extracts from a special formatted expression from within the eMail text.
The integration with LC could be very easy, if I would have the chance to replace the recipients adress that is automattically inserted be LC.

The solution is to manipulate the processing logic of the "Email Notifiacation" orchestration. After the task "handleNotifcationWithRenderEvent" all email relevant fields are generated but the mail is not yet sent. A new task added here, can accomplish any manipulation.
The tricky part is to get access to the "Email Notification" orchestration at all. In workbench it is hidden.
It gets accessible by creating a new application and importing a process into it. Within the import dialog it can be selected. Once it is imported, it can be modified an redeployed to override the standard behaviour.

IS it possible to provide URL link in Notification Mail and logon to SAP

Hi firends,
when the user gets a notification mail to his outlook,
he opens that notification mail in outlook.
Is it possible to provide a URL Link ? in that notification mail.
When the user clicks on that URL LINK, then is it possible to open the SAP Initial Screen,
where user can provide his User name and Password. and logs on to the SAP.
If these things are possible.
Please guide me step by step.

How to send concurrent program output file as an attachment in the notification mail

We are on Oracle apps version - 11.5.10.2
We have a requirement wherein we need to send the concurrent program output file as an attachment while sending the notification mail to the user.
Currently we have tried the approach wherein we are specifying the user id in the OPTIONS tab (Notifying the following people) while submitting the concurrent program.
But using this approach, the user gets only the URL of the output file in the notification mail and not the output file as an attachment.
Kindly let us know if anyone has incorporated the logic to send the output file as attachment in the notification mail.
Please Note - We do not want any custom code to be written to send the attachment.
Any pointers to this will be helpful.

Program in SAP R/3 system to send Pending GR notification mails to SRM use

Can anyone help me with a program name in SAP R/3 system, which will send notification mails to SRM users for which the Confirmations/GRs pending in SRM. what is the program name.
Here there is some program which is sending out Email notifications to SRM users to do the confirmations in SRM. where it would send the details of PO number also in the mail. But not able to get the program name whether this runs in SRM or R/3.
I have a faint idea this would run in SAp R/3 system. but not sure about it and the name of it.

There is no standard report for the requirement mentioned by you. You might have to develop a custom report.

How to get colla..room name in the notification mail while creating a task

I create a collaboration room, there i created one task. Asusal all the task assignees are getting notification mail. but in the mail content there is no mention of particular collaboration room. from where we created that particular task, this is creating some confusion to the users who are getting this notification mail,
if any one knows please let us know.

Error in Notification Mailer Workflow

I am having a strange situation in Oracle EBS Release 12.0.6 on Windows 2003 server. I think it may have started after applying the 12.0.6 patchset but I am not certain. The issue is with the workflow is not starting up anymore. Looking at log files in the %APPLLOG% directory I have this in the FNDCPG file :

I have a similar output for the outbound as well....so I don't think I have any issues with the outbound and inbound server itself....but with these configurations my notification mailer is down and the above is the log...
Could anyone shed light on why I would be getting ORA-01403: no data found in the FND_CP_GSM_IPC not sure what that does.....I have gone through the tests of the inbound and outbound java mailers on metalink and they are all working fine....any help would be appreciated.

This seems to be a bug - pl see MOS Doc 433046.1 (After Applying Patches 3438354 an 4017300, Workflow Services are not Starting) for a similar issue in 11i. You might have to open an SR and have Sipport troubleshoot.

Need Help in configuring workflow Notification Mailer with IMAP

Hi,
i've configured the notification mailer successfully with SMTP and it's working fine , users can receive mail notifications but the INBOUND processing doesn't work.
i've created a new mail account on the IMAP server (Outlook 2007), but when configure the Notification mailer from OAM it gives me the following error:
Unable to connect to the mail account. Check the host, user name and password.
i tried many documents from the web but till know i can't have a solution for this issue.
EBS version : 11.5.10.2
Please note that i don't have access to MetaLink.
please help if you have any suggestions.

How to configure of INBOUND Server

As you have given the INBOUND_SERVER value as 'imap.gmail.com' you should specify the GMail user name and password for Inbound account say(eg:abc) and password field.
The replyToAddress and TestAddress should not be same. You need to provide the GMail email address here foe eg: [email protected]
The server 'imap.gmail.com' is SSL enabled you need to instal the corresponding certificate in the instance concurrent and web tier nodes.

Work Flow Notification mailer

Hello Team:
We have enabled work flow notification mailer service in our EBS system. Last week I restarted the services ( ALL Tiers ) and as soon as I did the restart. The business users started to receive Notification mailers. Apparently a bunch of them. I looked at the Workflow configuration settings and I was unable to figure out the setting that triggers this email stuff.
Any idea about where this setting should be checked and tuned . We are on 11.5.10 CU2 and it is running on RHEL 4.0.

If you are using notification mailer services just for testing purpose then update "Set Override Address" option in "Workflow Notification Mailer" services to a active mail a/c, so that all testing mails will be re-directed to this a/c instead of various users mail a/c. But if you are implementing the notification services, then pls go though the notification services implementation document once and set the required parameters as per your business requirements.

How to send notification mail by IDM 7.1?

HI,
I configured the idm 7.1 and want to send notification mail to user when a new user is created.
But I can not get email from IDM. I think the SMTP server is right and I can telnet to SMTP server and send mails.
How to test the IDM configuration is right ? or how to test send mail notification by an easy way ?

I configured the IDM from Configure--> servers -->Edit Server Settings page ,Email Template, as filled form:
Default SMTP Server      192.168.22.222
     Use default
Default SMTP Port      25
     Use default (25)
SMTP Port      25
SMTP Authentication Enabled
     Use default (true)
     Authentication Enabled
User Id      idmmail
Password      *****
Default SMTP Enable SSL
     Use default (false)
     SSL Enabled
     Disable Certificate Authentication
When I run the "ALL USERS" report, I select the 'Email Report' and filled the mail address. But after running the report , I can't receive email and no error messages displayed.
Could you tell me how to do I can debug or trace the messages if the IDM sent or not sent mail , if it connects to mail server ?

Notification mailer getting down frequently

Hi All,
Notification mailer getting down frequently.
We have checked the log file and got the below errors:
1) Maximum number of errors (null) have been reached for this Service Component -> oracle.apps.fnd.cp.gsc.ProcessorException: Unable to connect to mail store)
2) Maximum number of errors (10) have been reached for this Service Component -> oracle.apps.fnd.cp.gsc.ProcessorException: Unable to connect to mail store
Please help us to resolve the issue.

This Automatic Service Component has been restarted the maximum of 10 times after stopping with error. Please go through the Note: 469822.1 - Oracle Workflow Release 12 Diagnostics and run the tests.
