PO number with PDF formate

Hi MM experts,
how can i save a PO pdf formate with po number
Exampl :- po number is 4500000661.
but when i am saving as a PDF formate in my system C drive its giving me a name of the file automaticalley
E9A9F3F1A0970026B958F18D.pdf like this. but we r expecting it should be like 4500000661.PDF
howto do configure this in SAP sid ewe have to do or system PDF factory Pro side we need to do.

I do not think ther eis any way to save PDF with file name as PO no.
You can try with Bsis team, if it is possible.

Go to the cache directory and see if you can open the report directly from here (not in IE).
I have seen posts on problems with Acrobat Reader Plugin for IE (I believe it was version 6 of Reader).

when i make the desformat=PDF it gave me error
"file does not start with '%PDF' " in the IExplorer despite i have updated version of Acrobat reader and IE.
I'm using this URL:

Hello,
you can create a Report that accepts the search parameters from the Forms mask and generates a PDF. You also have the option to send the report via mail.
Personally I would generate the report with a tool like as_pdf

Then you can send the mail using utl_mail or utl_smtp.

Sending PO in mail attachment with pdf format

Hello,
We are sending PO to vendor in a pdf attachment. The configuration is in place and as soon as the PO(ME22N) is saved the pdf mail is sent to vendor external mail address.
The requirement however is to add some text to this mail body ( in addition to the existing PDF attachment ).
The NACE config is using SAPFM06P program with entry_neu form and a custom sap script.
can somebody help as where is this mail functionality added in this standard program so that I may try to customize the same for the above requirement.
All I can see is 2 FM used in this ENTRY_NEU Form. Of which I guess ME_PRINT_PO is sending the mail ( I may be wrong here ) but where ?
I will be thankful for any kind of hint to help solve this issue.

In general you will have to do the following:
1) Set NAST-NACHA = 8 (Special function)
2) Before OPEN_FORM (maybe in In enhancement spot) if NAST-NACHA = 8, then set itcpo-tdgetotf = 'X' (to get OTF back from CLOSE_FORM!)
3) During CLOSE_FORM, if NAST-NACHA = '8', get OTF output from TABLES parameter OTFDATA
4) Convert this OTF output to PDF using following sample code:

I suggest you make yourself very familiar with the SAP code that does this automatically. Once you understand the processing sequence SAP uses, it is much easier to add your customization and insert your enhancements. To debug it and step through the code, but a breakpoint in ENTRY_NEU, and process a PO. If you're sending your messages using a scheduled job, you'll hit the breakpoint when you process the message using RSNAST00. That's how I did it. I can tell you what I did to meet my requirements. You can change to meet your needs. It required a custom program, to use instead if ENTRY_NEU, and 3 enhancements to SAP code using the Enhancement Framework. You need to know how to use the framework. 1. configure your output type ZNE2 to to run a new program ZMRP_OUTCTRL, to run form routine ENTRY_ZNE2, to create form Z_PURCHASE_ORDER. 2. In ZMRP_OUTCTRL, call standard function modules, ME_READ_PO_FOR_PRINT and ME_PRINT_PO. 3. Drill down into ME_PRINT_PO to PREPARE_FORMULAR function module. Create new enhancement, and if NAST-KSCHL = ZNE2, then lookup the recipient's email address. Pass it as parameter to ADDR_GET_NEXT_COMM_TYPE. 4. Still in ME_PRINT_PO, PREPARE_FORMULAR, add another enhancement to set the value of itcpo-getotf to u2018Xu2019, to enable CLOSE_FORM to capture OTF data for PDF. Only set this OTF flag when the output is being run by RSNAST00, not when a user is simply previewing the printout. Sy-ucomm will be blank when RSNAST00 is running. 5. In ME_PRINT_PO, drill down to ENDE, and add an enhancement to check for NAST-KSCHL = ZNE2, and if so, call standard SAP function modules to END_FORM, START_FORM, WRITE_FORM, and END_FORM. Next call the function CLOSE_FORM, and set table parameter to capture the OTF_DATA as a table parameter OTF_DATA. 6. If OTF_DATA is found, then: If nast-kschl = 'ZNE2'. if NOT otf_data[] is initial. gs_OTF[] = otf_data[]. My problem is a kind of report generation problem.My data logging format is .tdms format and i use tdm file viewer function to view my datas but i didnt use tdm data report generation function.How can i use this function with my code.Actually i want to print automatically like pdf format...

Refreshing deski reports and saving in pdf format

I am generating pdf from deski report. I am using BO-XI and Adobe Reader 8. When I am navigating through bookmarks on pdf ( charts and tables) view is zooming in. I have reset the Edit -> preferences ->page display -> page layout to 'single page continuous' and Zoom to 100% on Adobe Reader. When I open the report it will be 100% first time and when I navigate through report. It is zooming in to 48%. Need help on setting BO report to 100% Zoom with PDF format.

Hi Sunandan,
According to the BOXIR2 supported platform guide Acrobat reader version 8 is not supported with BOXIR2.
Following are the versions which are supported.
Acrobat Reader Version 5.0.
Acrobat Reader version 7.0.
Could you please test the issue witht he supported version.

View in PDF format

I have tried to view a .cfm page in PDF format. I get data
from a CFC, and show information in the .cfm page. The problem
that, when I used cfdocument with PDF format, I received a web page
didn't match with PDF format. Anyone can help me solve this

No, didn't. I meant that I have a cfm page that have a button
named showPDF. When I click on this button, the result I except is
PDF format of this page. Information of this cfm page I got from a
function in a CFC. That's all. Unfortunately, I don't success
yet.

Issue with PDF

Hi All,
i facing issue with PDF format .
we developed smartform and we are using standard program SAPF150D2.
we did translation for that form englsih to EURO.
Now if we see output in OTF format , it showing correct way in EURO.
but , i we see same layout in PDF format,
Insted of showing ( ' )this letter, it is showing # in the PDF layout.
Is there any pointer to know soultion for this.

This is likely a problem with the way those links are coded in the PDF file, so the file may have to be saved again using different settings to make it work with PDF Viewers other than the Adobe Reader.

Code39Wide-Regular Fonts in the crystal report cannot be embedded with PDF

Good Day!
We are using Code39Wide-Regular Fonts in the crystal report for bar codes. While converting this report to the PDF format from Crystal viewer, we are getting the following error. It seems like this particular font cannot be embedded with PDF format.
Error - Failed to Export the report
Code39Wide-Regular- Font is not allowed to be embeded in document,
File - F:\Apps\9.40\Crystal\sfc\jobprtx.rpt
How can we solve this issue permanantly (Not a workaround )?

Hi Philip, Due to licensing issues CR cannot embed licensed fonts in a PDF file. Your only work around is to export the report to editable Word format and then open the file in Word 2007 and get the export to PDF plug-in available from Microsoft.
This will not be fixed in this or upcoming version of CR.

Exporting pdf Format

Hi,
I developed a report with 8 columns ,when trying to export the output in PDF format.The 8 columns are being printed in 3 pages i.e first 3 coulmns in 1 page next 3 in 2nd page and remaining in 3rd page.
Please guide any seetings reqd for printing them in 1 page .i.e settings for landscape etc.

Hi mahi,
You do set it to potrait and then import with pdf format and see if you can get all columns into it.But the better and suggested way to discoverer data is importing it into excel sheet which will be clear to understand and the end user can filter data and analyse it.

Problems with the report export in PDF format

I am new to this forum.
I'm developing a web application that uses Java Reporting Component (JRC) to display crystal reports.
I have three problem:
1) I want, after entering the filters in a jsp, to print a report in PDF format (WORD) without opening it
with Adobe Reader (Microsoft Word). The class of API JRC used for export is ReportExportControl.
2) I want to print multiple reports one after the other to reduce the time (possibly joining two or more reports into a single PDF)
3) I want to insert, in the jsp page filters, the number of pages to print from the same report (without
opening it with Adobe Reader (Microsoft Word))
Can anyone help me? or can give a simple java code to do the same.

How can I programatically control the names of files output from Labview into .pdf format (ie with Adobe PDF Writer or Distiller)?

I would like to save some data forms for a standard test controlled with labview in a pdf format. Due to the large number of forms and test reports, I would like to have Labview automatically assign the .pdf file name based on test number already contained in the labview code. How can I do this.
Note: This question is very similar to:
"Labview and Adobe Acrobat output" posted by John Balone on 1/26/2000. The reponses offered good suggestions but it is not clear to me how to implement them.
