PO output different when viewed thru ME22N & ME9F

Hi all,
if a particular PO is print previewed or printed from ME22N and ME9F, should they be showing the same or different?
In my case it is showing diffenrnt outputs. could you please tell me the difference between the 2 transactions.
Thanks,
Kiran

Hello,
You can see the  PRINT PERVIEW through the transaction code ME22N which is the change of teh Purchase order
And the Transaction code ME9F is used to  to manually output the Message to the document
If you maintain the condition records , then automatically the Output will be triggered to the Purchase order,
But from ME9F you can print the document manually
There are some document like RFQ, Scheduling agreements, contracts for which you cant see the PRINT PERVIEW directly, so you wil luse ME9F.
Hope it is clear,
santosh

My images in my welcome template are different when viewed on the internet! After a while they don't change anymore. Isn't this so basic....?

  • TableView LINEEDIT works differently when viewed through Portal

I have a simple table with a few columns of data that I display and allow the user to change a row using the selectionMode = "lineedit".  The columns are all controlled using htmlb tableViewColumns.
When I test my application from the WebAs the table looks fine.  If a user selects a row they can see the entire amount of text that appears in a column they want to change
However, when the BSP comes up in our SAP portal and the user selects a row only the first 20 (or so) characters can be seen and the user must use the arrows keys to get to the part of the text they wish to change.  Is this a setting somewhere?

For the <htmlb:inputField> look at attributes maxlength, size and width.
<b>width:</b> Determines the text width for the input field. We recommend that you use the size attribute instead of width.
<b>size:</b> Determines the size of the input field.
<b>maxLength:</b> Maximum length of the user input.
I must admit that this documentation is not tell me enough. Will ask on Monday about this.
As for your remark "works differently when viewed through Portal": You keep in mind that once a BSP application is running with the portal, all stylesheets (*.CSS) files are loaded from the portal server, and not the webAS.
Now it could happen that you are running an EP and an older (or incompatible) patch level than your BSP stylesheets are at the moment. For EP6, starting from what I remember at SP11, there is planned a technique to install the latest stylesheets from service market place. You ask about this via OSS, queue EP-PIN-?-STY (something like this).

  • TIFF & JPEG renders of RAW files appear different when viewed in Bridge

I am working with the demo of Photoshop CS6, with ACR 7.1. CS6 System Info will appear at the bottom of this post. Summary: AMD Phenom II x6 1090T, 16GB RAM, Win7-64bit, nVidia GTX 460 video w/1GB RAM, approx. 2.5 TB free space on multiple internal physical drives, Canon 50D, CR2 files. I have a camera profile generated through Profile Editor, and the monitor is calibrated with i-1 Match.
I have been practicing with the new Basic Panel controls (Process 2012). When I felt that I was getting the hang of them I started saving JPEG and TIFF files and noticed differences between what appears in Bridge and ACR. I worked on this for some time and searched out some other discussions in the Forum which seemed to talk about similar results. I have now tried Image Processor via Bridge, Save Image in ACR, and Open>Save manually in PS CS6. By whatever route, the TIFFs and JPEGs are different (lighter in the following examples, but this is not always the case), while PSD saves seem to be close, but not identical to the CR2 when viewed in Bridge or Photoshop. Here is a screen capture of Bridge thumbnails which show the differences.
I hope the labels come through legibly. The two images on the second row are CR2 and PSD respectively. What is really odd to me is that when I resaved the PSD file as a TIFF, the same sort of difference shows up in the TIFF. (See _MG_7960_via_PSD.tif above.) I have uploaded the CR2, its XMP, a TIFF and a JPEG on Sendspace (107 MB). I did this earlier in my experiments and regret that the file naming is not as informative as might be.
    http://www.sendspace.com/file/t0lhko
I have run a few other ACR adjusted CR2 images through Image Processor and seen a variety of differences between the rendered files and the RAW versions. The differences seem to be in Exposure and Contrast. Most of these looked somewhat darker, unlike the examples above.
I will happily provide any other information on request. Thanks!

Thanks very much for that lead, NormanPCN. I do have Auto Tone checked, though the rendered files in the example above do not have XMP sidecars. I will try unchecking Auto Tone even so, and post back when I see what happens.
    Thanks again,
    Kieren
EDIT: Bingo! I took Auto Tone off in ACR Preferences (in Bridge) and the non-RAW files immediately regenerated thumbs and previews. They now are indistinguishable from the PSD. There is still the very slight difference which I mentioned between the PSD and the CR2. While that seems odd, it is small enough to be relatively trivial.
    Many thanks!

  • Website renders slightly different when viewed in IE vs Firefox

    Greetings,
    The site is
    http://www.ryanscafe.net
The issue: Side Gifs on each end of the web page render
differently in IE and Firefox. I built this site on a Mac with
Photoshop and Dreamweaver. I made the mistake of using tables. I
built a version that looked fine in Firefox, Safari, and Opera. But
had problems with the navigation buttons falling down a few
centimeters out of the header when viewed in IE. So since most
people browse in IE I adjusted the table sizes so the web pages
would work in IE. Only problem now is when you view the site in
Firefox, etc. the outer Gifs I used to frame the site won’t
fit without having the buttons repeat their movement and falling
out of place a few centimeters when viewed in IE. (If I make the
site render in the IE browser it has problems in Firefox with the
side Gifs. When the site renders well in Firefox the Navigation
buttons are out of place when viewed in IE.)
I tried shrinking the tables but still had the same problem
whatever size I made them. I tried a transparent Gif to push on the
cells and that didn’t work. I tried endlessly adjusting but
    that hasn’t worked yet.
Any insight into resolving this issue is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Mike

  • Error message input/output error when viewing dvd from camcorder

I received a DVD from a friend and I am unable to view it using quicktime. I use quicktime for other applications and it works fine. When I attempt to open the file it says there is an input/output error. Any advise on this matter??

  • Bullet and number styles different when viewed

I'm using RoboHelp 6 to produce a WebHelp project.
It seems like the bullet and number styles behave differently
than the other styles. There is an automatic indent, even though
Left is set to 0, and a tab. I have been able to get the View
Selected Item to look the way I want (with a hanging indent that
aligns under the tabbed text) even though it looks very different
    in the WYSIWYG Editor.
With the Number style, the font size seems much larger in the
View Selected Item than it does in the WYSIWYG Editor. Is there a
way to know what the font size will be/look like to the Help user?
The number size also seems to be different if I use the Create a
Number List button or use the Number style. What is the difference
between using the style and using the button? Can I control the
number and bullet font and size?
    I'm still learning.
    Thanks

    Bummer!
RH doesn't always remove every piece of code when you, for
instance, select bolded characters and click the Bold toolbar
button; it often adds another SPAN tag for normal inside or outside
    the bold tag!
The surest way I know to completely purge content is to
filter it through a plain text editor like Notepad:
    1. In the RH topic, select the content (some paragraphs or
    the entire topic).
    2. Cut it (Ctrl+X).
    3. Paste it into Notepad (Ctrl+V).
    4. In Notepad, select and cut the content.
    5. In the RH topic, paste the purged content where the old
    content used to be.
Each paragraph will only get P tags assigned to it, allowing
you then to style your way through them. Of course, this
slash-and-burn method eliminates all hyperlinks, pop-ups, etc., so
    plan accordingly.
    Good luck,
    Leon

  • Report output different when sent directly to printer

I have a report that if formated for 8.5 x 11 paper and has an address at the bottom of the page. When the report is generated as a pdf the address is in the corrent postion. When the report is sent directly to a printer from the report server the bottom 2 inches of the report are not printed. If i send the pdf version to the same printer it prints correctly.
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for your answer, Ramachandra!
However I need some more specific information to solve this.
Which printer layout settings are relevant for the handling of margins and duplex printing for Adobe Forms?
I have not set up the printer myself but when talking to the printer guy which settings should I recommend him to look at?
I can see in transaction SPAD that there are settings specific to SmartForms but there is nothing said about Adobe Forms. Is there some way to make Adobe Forms related setting appear in SPAD for a device type?
Maybe my problem is not related to the printer device settings but rather to the way the printer is being called. When printing duplex we will have to override the default settings of the printer anyway.
Function module FP_JOB_OPEN has a parameter structure of the type SFPOUTPUTPARAMS. Which fields in this parameter structure are to be manipulated to get duplex print and output fitted to page size?

  • Images Appear Different When Viewed in Photoshop CS4 vs. LR 2.7

Hello, I hope someone on this forum can help.
I have a series of high quality images that are catalogued using Lightroom 2.7.  Many were edited using Photoshop while others were edited in the "Develop" module of Lightroom.  All of the images look exceptional in both Lightroom and Brdige.  However, when I open some of the images in PS, either directly from Bridge or by using the "Edit in" command from Lightroom, they appear washed out and dull -- very different and much worse.  I always use the setting, "Edit a Copy with Lightroom Adjustments."  The problem pertains to all images regardless of file format (JPEG, DNG, NEF, etc.) and regardless of whether they are opened from LR, Bridge or directly from the image using the "Open with" command in Windows.
This happens on two completely different set of monitors.  At work I have a Dell 2208 WFPt UltraSharp monitor, and at home a dual monitor setup with an Asus VE278Q and an LG flat screen (all are flat screen, high quality monitors).  I have a Lenovo X201s with 8gb of RAM and a high-speed i7 processor running Windows 7, 64-bit.  All of my Adobe products are up-to-date.  Windows Color Management shows all displays as "Generic PnP Monitor - Intel HD Graphics," and the Advanced mode of Intel's HD Graphics correctly identifies each monitor being used.  The problem is identical regardless of which monitor is being used and it does not seem to make any difference as to which color profile is associated with the monitor (I have two profiles added -- Adobe RGB (1998) (the default) and sRGB IEC61966-2.1).
Specifically, if I double-click on a particular TIF image in Bridge (where the preview looks great), it then triggers Camera Raw 5.7 - TIF, where again the image looks terrific.  The settings applied by Camera Raw are "ProPhotoRGB; 16 bit; 3607 by 2420 (8.7MP); 300 ppi" (although changing these settings makes no difference whatever when the image is subsequently opened in Photoshop).  When the image is opened in Photoshop it looks terrible -- dull and washed out.  I encounter the exact same problem when using my dual monitor setup at home, so I don't think monitor calibrations are the cause.
Strangely, I don't think this problem existed a couple of months ago.  I've been busy on a project and haven't used Photoshop since the end of this past July (of 2011).  As I recall, this problem did not exist then, so I'm wondering if a setting in Photoshop inadvertently got altered since then.
I have the following key settings in Photoshop's "Color Settings":
Working Spaces: RGB -- ProPhoto RGB
Color Management Policies -- Preserve Embedded Profiles
    Conversion Options -- Adobe (ACE)
I have the following key settings in Lightroom's "Preferences / External Editing":
    Edit in Adobe Photoshop CS4
File Format -- PSD; Color Space ProPhoto RGB, 16-bits, 300 dpi
File Format -- TIFF; Color Space ProPhoto RGB, 16-bits, 300 dpi
I have tried and tried to figure this out, to no avail.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks, I think you're right.
Any suggestions for a cheap and easy way to calibrate my monitors?

  • Image viewed in Photoshop CC looks different when viewed in Elements 11 Organizer, why?

I'm viewing a Nikon raw file (.nef) in Bridge CC, Camera Raw, and then in Photoshop CC.  In Camera Raw I've made some adjustments before viewing it in Photoshop.  For cataloging I prefer to use Photoshop Elements 11 Organizer (there are several reasons why that I won't go into here).  When I get the image looking the way I want it to look in Photoshop and subsequently view the image in Elements Organizer the image in Organizer is not a good match to what is displayed in Photoshop.  I particularly notice that nice blue sky tones appearing in Photoshop are shifted toward cyan in Elements Organizer.  What is causing the mismatch in image color between the two Adobe products?
I've also noticed that the new Radial Filter that's available in the latest Camera Raw is not processed by Elements Organizer 11.  Would this be processed in Elements 12?

    Here's my original code:

              }while (i != -1);
}When i do a "java ShowFile test.txt", it outputs characters that's not the same as the ones in test.txt.
But when I changed the code
    if (i != -1) System.out.print((char) fin.read()); to if (i != -1) System.out.print((char) i); everything outputs fine. Why is that?

So when I assign the resulting value from read(), is read() called? Is that the reason why I'm reading 2 chars per loop?Exactly, when you "assign the resulting value from read()" you actually call read, it performs what it needs to, and it returns some value, which you then use.

I have entered dates and specific times on my computers icloud calendar.  When I view the dates and times on my iphone the times are three (3) hours later. I have checked the time zone settings on my iphone and it is correct (EST).  Where do I go next?

Restoring is the answer. It sounds as if there is a rogue process constantly draining your battery.
The issue you face is that, if you restore your backup thereafter, you risk the problem coming straight back with your files.
Store your files individually and it is time to start fresh.

  • Photos look different in Photoshop than when viewed with Picture Viewer

I am running Windows XP, using Photoshop CS2, with a Samsung SyncMaster LCD monitor. I have recently noticed that my picures look different when viewing with Picture Viewer than when the same picture is opened in Photoshop. The photoshop version is much lighter while the pic viewer version is darker. I want to make sure of what I'm sending to my online printers. Do I have color setting wrong? My color setting in Photoshop are: sRGB IEC61966-2.1, U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2, Dot Gain 20%, and Dot Gain 20%. And preserved embedded profiles for RGB, CMYK, and Gray. Is the problem with calibrating my monitor, and if so, do you know of any free calibration software? I'm on a budget.
    I appreciate any help. Thanks.

Well, it surely is a problem with your monitor settings, but, forgive me for saying this, mentioning "sending stuff to the printers" and then asking for free calibration software is a bit naive. If Adobe Gamma, the settings in PS itself and the color calibration in Windows don't cut it, then your system is seriously bent in terms of color and some other steps are required first.
    a) reset your monitor to its default color temperature and brightness
    b) get rid of any color tweaking your graphics card may introduce
With a clean slate, create a color reference image (pure colors, grayscale gradient) with all color calibration turned off and see how it looks at the system level and in PS. Now you can begin to adjust settings everywhere and re-enable color profiles until the results match in sRGB space.
The rest is pretty much unpredictable. Unless you gain access to the exact color profiles of the target device (the printer) and your monitor is properly hardware calibrated, there will always be minute variations. The only thing you can do is to solely rely on your visually aligned sRGB setup and have all color profile adjustments and color space conversions done at your printer. However, even that's assuming you do not wander too far off the default values and the sRGB is indeed "intact".

  • Why does text show differently (vertical alignment) when viewed on a PC than on a Mac?

The text shows misaligned (different) when viewed on different platforms (Mac or PC)
The Menu section on this website ~> Menu
Is there a way around this or a fix it. I was trying to look at the code in Dreamweaver and I did see some weird (>Span<) tags, I'm wondering if it might have to do with it.
The goal is to align the right side (prices) perfectly. I even had to do the 'tracking' individually to every line. It does work, depending on what platform I'm working on, if I work and publish from a Mac, it would look fine no matter what browser I use, but when viewed on a PC the text gets misaligned. The same happens if I work and publish from a PC, it would show misaligned on a Mac.
Hope there is a reasonable explanation for this.
    - Thank you,
    Ricardo

The primary cause of the misalignment is the fact the text is using a "Web Safe" font. A "web safe" font is not a single font. Rather it's a list/stack of fonts for the site visitor's browser to try until it finds one that's available the visitor's computer. That means on one computer the text is in one font (i.e. Arial) and on another computer it's another (i.e. Helvetica) with the subsequent fallout caused by the varying character widths between the two fonts. The best way to reduce this variation between site viewers is to use a Web Font (either an Edge Web Font or a Self-Hosted Web Font).
The alignment still won't be entirely consistent across browsers (or even versions of browsers), because each browser has it's own text layout engine and the engines do sometime change, but the variation will be radically reduced.

  • Exported pictures look different when uploaded to websites.

I noticed that exported pictures from Lightroom  uploaded to Facebook or Shutterfly look different that when viewing the same exported pictures on my pc. Why is that?  The exported pictures were not adjusted, maybe only cropped and red eyes were removed. Yet the colors appear different when viewing the same pictures on Facebook or in Shutterfly.  If I upload exact the same picture directly from my picture folder, the colors look different. I wonder why this is happening.

Export as sRGB will always help; however most browsers are not colour managed so the colour reproduction can vary anyway even when using sRGB. Only Safari is fully managed, Firefox works up to a point (it only uses icc v2 profiles, not v4 it will be OK with LR as LR presently exports to the v2 version of sRGB) or browsers don't honour profiles at all. Calibrating your monitor is also an important factor here and a hardwear device is required to do this correctly.
How an image looks in non colour managed applications cannot be a basis for jusdging an image so only fully colour managed applications (such as LR or PS) should ever be used for processing.
