PO Output message schema
Hi All,
I have an issue where the PO output message type is triggering even for the changes made in the PO. It is not defined in the Fine tuned PO for change.
After lot of R & D found that the indicator set (N, P) during the assignment of Output schema (RBEF1) to the Purchase Order it gets triggered.
Now, I want the output type to trigger only once for new only.
Should I deselct tht indicator or is there any alternative.
HI,
For the PO out put to maintain in Mn04.
Along with the Message type, partner function and Processing Status. we have to give the mediun also.
Means to which Printer it has to go and the Print immediately option have to be checked.
and this is always effect the newly created orders
please check the below Discussion for further information on the same.

Automatic output message generation for PO
Hi Forum,
I am getting below message while creating a PO, I want to set Automatic output message - (my output is by e mail). Please help...!!!
No message generated for output of purchasing document
Message no. 06261
Diagnosis
The system was not able to find a message record via the message determination schema. Therefore it was not possible for such a record to be generated for this purchasing document. In consequence, the purchasing document cannot be outputted (printed or transmitted).
Procedure
The message determination process should be checked and, if necessary, corrected.
The message record can be created manually for this document. For this purpose, choose the function "Messages" in the menu "Header" and maintain the necessary data.
Thanks & Regards,
Rohit GulianiHi Rohit,
You need to check that your print program is SAPFM06P and form as MEDRUCK.
Any testing should be done with this testing and once thus setting works, you may go back to your own program and form if you like. This helps a lot in identifying the area of error.
Please tell me you support pack level for SAP_APPL. It starts with SAPKH***** (like SAPKH46C08).
After that your help can be done.

Output message not generated for Purchase order
We maintain MN04 message condition record for 2 key combination for output type NEU:
1. Purchasing Output determination : Document type -> NB, medium 1 print out
2. Purchasing Output determination : Document type/Pur Org/Vendor -> NB, 1000, vendor 20001, medium 5 External email
When I create PO for other vendor (not 20001), the system is nicely generating the output of the PO for printout.
Next we have maintain a condition record in MN04 for a particular vendor 20001, Doc type and Porg with setting 5, 4, EN so that we can send the PO via email to the vendor 20001, the system is not generating a message output of the purchase order when i check it before saving.
Please help me with this situation. we need setup the email PO functionality.I created another message type ZNEU copy from NEU, include it in the message schema, created condition record with MN04/MN05 for both NEU for printout and ZNEU for medium 5 email. done all steps mentioned in the links.
When create a PO still only 1 message record NEU is defualted for printout only.
The message record for email ZNEU is not defaulted in PO?? Anything elase need to be done. -
Output Message Determination for Purchase Order
Hi all !
Can anybody please explain in brief, the procedure for Ouyput message determination for Purchase order. (including printer settings)
I have tried it throgh the Standard Configuration guide. but i am not able to do.
Please explain step by step including form attachment.
Thanks in Advance !!!!Hi,
Customization steps for Output of Purchase Order
1. Condition Table
SPRO > Material Management> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Condition Tables->Define Condition Table for Purchase Order
Select:
Purchasing Doc. Type,
Purch. Organization,
Vendor
2. Access Sequences
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Access Sequences->Define Condition Table for Purchase Order
3. Message Type
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Message Types->Define Message Type for Purchase Order
4. Message Determination Schemas
4.1. Message Determination Schemas
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Message Schema->Define Message Schema for Purchase Order-> Maintain Message Determination Schema
4.2. Assign Schema to Purchase Order
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Message Schema->Define Message Schema for Purchase Order-> Assign Schema to Purchase Order
5. Partner Roles per Message Type
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control-> Partner Roles per Message Type ->Define Partner Role for Purchase Order
6. Condition Record
Navigation Path: SAP Menu-> Logistics -> Material Management -> Purchasing-> Master data->Messages-> Purchase Order-> MN04-> Create
Now you create PO (ME21N) and save it. Go to ME22N and print the PO by giving output type.
Note1
Now Check in SPAD (Printer settings) settings & try to check the printer configuration. Check Device attributes, Access methods etc. are maintained in Spool Administration (SPAD) for the selected printer (your local Printer, may be ur using HP01or any but in SAP std is LP01) but consult with your basis consultant regarding above.
Check the following also:
Spool generated using SP01 or SP02.
Output device.
Local printer settings.
Paper Tray, Print Mode, Printer
Note2:
Check MN04 and NACE t.codes

Output message not coming automatically for PO
hi
i cerated new output message sending PO to vendor by e-mail. I maintained condition records in MN04. Condition table, access sequence all are maintained. I included new output type into the control data of the existing schema RMBEF1 and the schema is assigned to PO also. Also maintain entry in following string SPRO- Material Management-Purchasing-Messages-Output control-Message Types-Define Message type for PO---Fine-Tuned Control: Purchase Order
Still the output message is not coming automatically while creating PO every time i add output type namually. please guide
regardsHope you have maintained condition for combination. preferrably -
1) Purch Doc type > PORG > Vendor
2) Please make sure that, you have maintained the fileds which are relavant for output.(if you are making any changes in existing PO and you need output)
Hope this will help you -
Output message from XI Validations aganist Schma?
Hi,
My scenario is such that whenever a message is outputted by XI it must be validated aganist the schema.I am using XSL mapping in interface mapping. By default the output message is not validating aganist the output schema. As per the suggestions ( for validations ) I done message mapping using graphical mapping editor from source to target. So in interface mapping for Source and target I used two maps one with Message mapping ( graphical) and then XSL mapping. When I am using this type scenario my target file which is a xml file looking like this
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" >
10023 UNITED STATES TECHNICAL
But actually when I am using single mapping either Message Mapping using ( Graphical) OR XSL. The output XML file looks like this.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" >
<empno>10023<empno>
<country> UNITED STATES</country>
<team> TECHNICAL </team>
which is a correct one. Can anybody suggest to me how to rectify this? I am using mapping (graphical) previous to XSL mapping purely bcoz of XSD validations.
Thaks & Regards,
MM.RaoHi Malisetti
A message mapping between the same message types does <i>not</i> validate your messages. It merely makes sure that all mandatory elements are present in the target structure. If you're interested in full XML Schema validation, you might find some inspiration in this weblog entry written by myself:
<a href="/people/morten.wittrock/blog/2006/03/21/validating-messages-in-xi-using-xml-schema">/people/morten.wittrock/blog/2006/03/21/validating-messages-in-xi-using-xml-schema</a>

RFQ Output Determination Schema
Hi all,
I am trying to create a new message determination schema for RFQ print out. The aim is to include plant code in the message determination schema. We have previously configurfed this for PO.
However, when we tried to create the condition table in transaction M/58, plant code is not in the field catalog.
May I know how I can add plant code in the field catalog for condition table (Output purchasing RFQ)?
Thanks!Thanks for the quick reply.
I've added plant code WERKS into the RFQ output field catalog via maintenance of view V_T681F via SM30.
I then created the condition table in M/58 and assigned it to the RFQ access sequence.
I've also maintained the message output for RFQ via transaction MN01.
However, the output message type is not triggered even when I create a RFQ with the specified plant code maintained in MN01.
Any idea?

In BPM sync/async Step , can you have different message schema?
Scenario:
File to XI to BPM to SOAP to RFC
In order to trigger the webservice , I use a dummy file which will be polled at a certain frequency- once in 30 minutes in Test mode - this will call the Webservice. The answer of webservice is sent to RFC Async.
so these are the Repository objects I created :
1. File Outbound Async Message Interface- Output Message (File_Request_MT)
2.File Abstract Message Interface-Output Message (File_Request_MT)
3.Async/ sync bridge Abstract interface to call the Webservice
4 Webservice Inbound Sync Message interface- with both input and output message
5.RFC Inbound Async message interface- input message (RFC_Request)
6 RFC Abstract Async Message interface-input message (RFC_Request)
BPM
a) Receive step which uses the the object 2.
b) Sync send which uses object 3
c) Send step which uses Object 5
I am using a BPM to Receive the file data/ "request " by using the File abstract message interface
Then use the the object 3 to call the webservice in BPM .
My question is on this step
Can I have for the abstract Interface(Object 3) the Request message as File_Request_MT and
response message as (RFC_Request) ?
I use a message mapping to map Input and Ouput message of Object 3 with Object 4.
Thanks for your insightRaj,
Thanks for the feedback , but I have a question regarding your reply
Interface Objects
Object 1: File_Request_Abs
Object 2: Soap_Response_Abs
Object 3:Soap_Abs_Synch
Output Message:File_Request_Abs
Input Message:Soap_Response_Abs
Object 4:Rfc_Request_Abs
The question is about
a)SOAP_RESPONSE_ABS : could you please tell me why do we need an abstract interface -SOAP_RESPONSE_ABS?
I created a message type MT_SOAP_RESPONSE and used that in the BPM sync Send step as the Input message.
b)Soap_Abs_Synch- I am using message types
MT_File_request and MT_SOAP_Response From your reponse, it looks like you are suggesting to use
Abstract Interfaces as Output message and Input Message, am I correct? Could you please tell me whether this has advantages over using message types MT_file_request and MT_soap_reponse? I haven't used Abstract interfaces before as Input message and output message; infact, I wasn't even aware that it can be. Please confirm that it is possible. Thank you for increasing my knowledge !!!
These are the Objects I created
Message Type :
a) MT_Filerequest
b) MT_SOAPresponse
Message Interface
a)MI_Filerequest_out_async -
Output message
Mess. type MT_filerequst
b)MI_filerequest_async_abs-
Mess. type MT_filerequst
Used
i) used for BPM receiver step- container definition
ii) receiver determination
c)MI_webservice_sync_in - This is created from External definition
d)MI_webservice_sync_abs-
Input message - MT_soapresponse
Output message- MT_fierequest
Used:
i) used for BPM sync send step ,
ii)Interface mapping between MI_Webservice_sync_in and MI_webservice_sync_abs
iii)Container element-SOAP_response
e) MI_RFC_async_out
Input message
RFC_Request(This is imported from RFC definition)
g) MI_RFC_async_abs
Input message
RFC_Request(This is imported from RFC definition)
Mapping
Message mapping
i)Filerequest_TO_SOAPrequest
Source: MT_Filerequest
Target: SOAPrequest(Got from External definition)
ii)SOAPresponse_TO_BPM_response
Source : SOAPresponse(got from External definition)
Target : MT_SOAPresponse
Interface Mapping
i)IM_BPM_TO_SOAP
Source Interface : MI_webservice_sync_abs
Target :MI_webservice_sync_in
uses following message mapping
Request : filerequest_TO_SOAPrequest
Response:SOAPresponse_TO_BPM_response
BPM container element
i)Receiver_container TYPE MI_Filerequest_out_async
ii)SOAP Responsecontainer TYPE MI_webservice_sync_abs
iii)RFC_Request_container TYPE MI_RFC_async_abs
BPM flow
Receive---->Send Synch-->Transformation----->Send Asynch
Receive -
> receiver_container
Send Synch -
> receiver_container(Request Message), Soap_response_container(Response Message)
Transformation -
> Source(Soap_response_container), Target(RFC_request_container)
Send Asynch -
> RFC_request_container

Output message can not be created in a PO
Hi to you all,
Output message can not be created in a PO for a customer. During my tests, the yellow output message was created automatically after I have saved the PO.
I checked ME9F and the table NAST, there is no entry for the PO of the customer. This happens arbitrarily.
Do you know how and why this can happen? Is it a program error or something else?
Thanks.
EsraHi Esra,
if I do understand you correctly, when creating the PO the system always finds a message to be created ("yellow" message). But arbitrarily the message cannot be generated in ME9F, correct?
In my view, if the message is always determined correctly in the PO there cannot be any trouble concerning condition records, the error has to occur later in the process.
Are there any error messages in the processing protocol of a message that cannot be created? What happens if you set the transmission time-spot to 4 (immediatelly)?
Just my 2 cents

Hello all,
in a purchase orderI will send out IDOC's. After creating the purchase order a proposal for an output type had been made (checked in analysis, the condition record has been found, but no proposal had been made in the purchase order. After saving the PO there is no record in NAST.
Has somebody an idea?
Regards
Norberthi
You need to do some configuration for this.
u2022 Goto NACE .
u2022 Select EF and click on OUTPUT TYPES.
u2022 Then select Output Type NEU and click on processing routines .
u2022 In that you have to add a new entry - medium 5 .
u2022 Then you need to assign a program, form routine and form.
u2022 You can use the standard program i.e. SAPFM06P, FORM routine is always ENTRY_NEU and standard MEDRUCK.
u2022 Then in PARTNER FUNCTION you need to add a new entry : medium - 5 and function - VN .
u2022 For subject of the mail goto Mail Title and Texts. In title give PO No. &EKKO-EBELN& .
u2022 Under General data -> Replacement of text symbols give programm as SAPMM06E and Form Routine as TEXT_SYMBOL_REPLACE .
u2022 Now the subject will be PO No. 1800004202.
u2022 You need to maintain your email id in tcode SU01 and also the vendor's email id.
u2022 Now while creating a new purchase order , change the medium to External Send .
u2022 Then goto Communication Method and select CS01 . ALSO make sure that the Cover Page Text has value PO No. &EKKO-EBELN& .
u2022 Goto tcode ME9F .
u2022 Execute.
u2022 Select the checkbox and click on Output Message.
u2022 You will get a message MAII 00000000000001 generated .
u2022 Use note no 191470

com.siebel.etl.net.QServer.main(QServer.java:499)(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
How to display the Output messages on LabVIEW

I've attached a printscreen of my TestStand sequence as an example of what I want do do on LabVIEW.
I apreciate all the help.

TS PrintScreen.JPG 137 KBSorry, from your post in the LabVIEW board I did not understand that it was the Output message that you were looking for.
I thought you wanted the results from your test steps displayed on the user interface.
It is the “Output Panel” in the sequence editor that displays your output message, but I do not know if there is default Output panel activeX indicator for user interface that the TestStand engine would update automatically like it does the execution view.
Maybe someone else knows
As also pointed out, the UI messages is your other option.
The Output Message event number is 40
http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/3879
UIMsg_OutputMessages–(Value: 40) TestStand sends this message at periodic intervals when it holds references to output messages that calls to the OutputMessage.Post method queue. TestStand transfers the queued messages to an OutputMessages collection attached to the UIMessage.ActiveXData property for this event. An application that processes output messages should copy the output message references from the collection in UIMessage.ActiveXData to its own private OutputMessages collection by passing its private collection to the OutputMessages.CopyMessagesToCollection method. An application calls the Engine.NewOutputMessages method to create a private OutputMessage collection. TestStand generates this event only if the Engine.OutputMessagesEnabled property is True. Because there can be more than one handler for this event, the application should not modify the OutputMessages collection the UIMessage.ActiveXData property holds.

Plant as a condition to determine output messages in PO
Hi All:
I configure condition table for PO with the fields: Doc Type, Purch Org, Vendor and Plant (all the previous fields at header level except for the plant ) this table is assigned to an access that also contain the condition table: Doc Type, Purch Org. and Vendor (all the fields at header level) but when I create a condition record for the condition table that contain the plant it does not determine any message, the condition record seems to be not taking into consideration at all, however when I create a condition record for the condition table that does not contain the plant the system determine correctly the messsage in the PO. My requirement is to have the plant as a condition to determine the output message in the PO. Do you know if can get this without a user exit or enhancement, only customizing settings?
Thanks for your help

Is message determination possible at item level too?
Answer:
No. During message determination, the system does not access the data of the purchasing document's individual items (for example, table EKPO or EKET) because the values in the item-related table fields (for example, EKPO-WERKS) may be different from item to item. -
Partner function copied from PO to Outb.del. but output message not created
Hello Gurus,
As the copy of the partner function from the PO to the Outbound Delivery is not supported in standard, I have activated userexit_save_document_prepare (MV50AFZ1) where I can add the other partner roles out of the purchase order into table XVBPA (VN). Thanks to this exit, the partner function VN is correctly added in the Outbound Delivery.
My issue is the following this partner function should create an output message using the partner function VN but this one is not created during the Outbound delivery creation. But if I go to the VL02N and just save the Outbound delivery again (without change) now the output is correctly created and processed.
Does someone of you know the reason why the output message for partner VN is not triggered at the Delivery Creation but
after the manual save?
Kind regards
ChrisI have just explained this in Copy partner from PO to inbound delivery

User cannot receive External Send Output Message manually - ME22N
Hi Guru's
I have the following issue, once a User has saved the PO he wants to receive this PO to his email. He goes to "Messages" and selects Medium 5 "External Send" and in Partner he types his User ID in order to receive it.
He is not receiving any emails and the status in Further Data is "2 incorrectly processed". When he types another User ID, this User does receive the email. Is there anything else I need to configure to this User ID so he can received this Output Messages? He is the only User that cannot receive these Output Messages.
RegardsProblem Solved!!
I enter to table USR21 (Assign user name address key) and realized User ID did not exist. So I enter to table ADR6 (E-Mail Addresses) and noticed it was a totally different User. I enter to table LFA1 (Vendor Master) and there was information about this User.
This left me to one conclusion...This had nothing to do with the User ID
The Client in the past created Vendors (MK01) has "Buyers". So when the Buyer wanted to send any PO to his email he just went to "Messages" and selected Output Type "NEU" / Medium 5 "External send" / Partner "Vendor#" = Buyer.
I enter to MK02 and typed the Vendor# they gave him, in "General Data" check only "Address" and press ENTER, updated the email in the field and selected INT E-mail in "Standard Comm Mtd" and problem solved.
Thank you all for your help
Best Regards!!
