PO Print before release

Hi,
As per SAP standard settings, PO Print out is possible only after the final release of PO.
But in our case, client needs to take PO print out before the final release of PO.
How this can be done. If it ABAP settings, give some tips on how to modify the program.

Yes, i think you can print out the PO before final release, check in SPRO-Materials ManagementPurchasingPurchase OrderRelease Procedure for Purchase OrdersDefine Release Procedure for Purchase Orders --> Release indicator --> tick the released option for the release code affected before the final release, then you'll be able to print out the PO.

Does it depend upon what we maintain in Condition record(MN05), DATE/TIME to 4: Print immediately!
Condition in my case is PO is not yet released by release strategy but its still printing, can it be because of above condition record maintained,

PO prints before release

Hi All,
We are facing an issue where the Purchase order is getting printed even before getting through the release process.
The scenario is as below:
A PO is created and is assigned with a release strategy (Three approvers). The first approver has approved the PO. We can see from the spool and the output information of the PO that it has all its outputs printed.
As per standard SAP process flow, the PO should not print before all the approvers have released it.
Has anyone come across such a case? Our client system is SAP R/3 4.6C.
Any pointers to this issue are appreciated.

My client want PO print before release.
He want to take print of po before release so that he can bargain with vendor & make changes accordinglly before release.
Actually he doesn't want to release the po again & again.

If the box is checked against the final release indicator ,than uncheck it and check the same against the first Release indicator (Blocked). This will allow yoy to print out the PO in blocked state also. But as per standard we do not follow this practice.

PO can be printed without release ONLY from one User id.

Hi All,
We are facing a problem, that PO can be printed before release. Configuration is correct.This is happening only for one user id. No other user is able to do so. Is it related with the roles and authorizations or the user parameters in SU01D? Which authorization objects to chekc in this case?

PO cannot be printed unless it is released. Can you check whether it is at time of change print or re-print (after modifying PO - without releasing user is trying to print the PO)? Or else is it from print preview tab in PO (there is a option to print from print preview directly)? I dont think it is because of user adminstraion/ roles. Please check

I've implemented the PO release strategy, and I think the SAP standard is not allow print PO before released. I would like to know is it possible to print a termporary PO (another sapscript form) before Po released. Thanks!

You can do that using standard t-code BS22.
After calling t-code BS22 double click on system status I0001 - CRTD – Created.
Then search for, so called business transaction ‘RMDR - Print Order’ and choose function Allowed.
I have just done it in my sandbox and now I’m allowed to print shop papers for work orders in status CRTD but as per default shop papers should be printed in REL status please analyze possible impact before changing anything in BS22.

How to delay printing with print-on-release ?

Hello friends,
I have enabled WM transactions, as well as Printing, upon Release of Production Order. My print program takes the WM Transfer Order details and prints it on Pick List. However, about 50% of the time, printing starts before TO creation is complete - so the printout does not contain the TO details.
I need your help to solve the above situation - how can we delay the printing so that TO creation gets sufficient time to complete - or to do something that printing does not starts until TO creation is complete.

To my knowledge, In standard SAP, I don't think we can control the timing when you have settings for print-on-release.
But this can be acheived through work around.
In the print program (that you have assigned in OPK8) make changes in the coding by adding conditons as per your requirement and to trigger the print only if your conditions are met. However, this will happen only upon release. Try this with you help from ABAP.

Printout of schedule agreement before Release

hi all,
i have created release strategy for schedule agreement at three level EX, MM & GM, problem is that i want to print schedule agreement number thru ME9l after releasing it from EX level. can anyone please tell me that is it possible to print schedule agreement before releasing from all three EX, MM & GM?
if yes then how? or plzz tell me if any other option to print the same.

If your strategy is set up so that all three levels must release the agreement before it is final released I do not believe you can generate a printout.

Control creation of PR from project before release

Dear All,
Can we make settings such as before releasing the project system should not allow us to create PR/PO ?

You can control creation of PR for particular time period by using WBS User status Profile configuration or Locking all account assignment data.
Else you can use Res/PR key as From Release and needs to be defined in N/W Profile
Also you use FM for status change for Activity

No printing :I can't print anymore, printing the same file with another program is ok, printing form LR (in the same system and printer of course :-) ): Preparing and Printing indicatorbar in the left hand upper corner are running and completing, but no output at all to my printer. I have been printing before. Next I upgraded to LR5.7.1 but the problem stays. Perhaps some adjustment is changed by me unintentionally, but I have no idea. Does anybody know what to check? Printing to file is also strange,the canvas only seems to accept A4, and crops any image relative to that size, so a 10x15 cm print on 10 x 15 cm paper is cropped to 10x15/2. Anybody any idea? (system win 8.1 64, printer HP B8550)

I accidentally solved my mystery. For some reason it was set to "print to file". I changed it to "printer" and now I am able to print.
