  • Dual Language in Form Printing

    Hi Friends,
I have to maintain two languages for sales order printing i.e. EN and FR.
I have copied the standard print program into a Zprogram as I have to add some more functionality  also the script is a Custom Script.
How would I maintain two languages for the same script?
    Kindly help.
    Regards,
    Pradeep
Note : I will definitely assign the marks for good answer .

    Hi Prabhu,
Kindly explain it in detail. How can we create a smart form which having dual language i.e english & french.
e.g. I want my smart form Print in this format like

  • Dual language smartform

    Hi all,
How can i create dual language smartform ie. i need to print text in
two different languages in the smartform eg. Sold to / Vendu ( English / French).
    Please explain it elaborately.
    Thanks ,
    Sushant Singh.

    Hi!
You have to write both languages on your SAMRTFORM. You have to think about the alignments, for example:
    - english/french
    - english
      french
You can operate with different cells, or you can write both texts into one cell, and setting the size smaller.
    It is your choice.
I suggest you to log in with that language, you are making the smartform... So log in in EN languag for english coding and FR language to french coding.
    Regards

  • What key(s) do i type to change language from english to other? i am writing s story in dual languages. i was told to click command and space bar together but it is not working.

what key(s) do it type to change language from english to other? i am writing a story in dual languages. I was told to click command and space bar together but it is not working.

Command Spacebar opens Spotlight as you have found out. If you want to change languages you need to say what app you are using to write the story in, I'm guessing you are using Pages or MS Word. If that's the case
Pages: Open Inspector - Click the T tab - Click Language and change your language.
MS Word: Tools Menu - Language - Choose your language.

  • Is it possible to accommodate dual language for single country?

    Hi folks,
Here is the background information on our requirement. Any help would be appreciated.
There are 3 Language parameter fields in SAP.
    1. Field PA0002-SPRSL which can be modified in ESS via Personal Profile. This does not force a revisit to the SAP Portal log on screen.
    2. Field in the back end using transaction SU3 for default parameters; field LANGU in table USDEFAULTS
    3. SAP Portal Logon Screen. The parameter field name is unknown and I would like to know where the field value sits.
Currently the only language parameter that changes screen languages is the SAP Portal logon screen language parameter (number 3 above).
The default parameter is associated with the use of language with data, based on the country value (molga) set in the default parameters (number 2 above).
The personal Admin parameter on Infotype 0002 is utilized during SQL reads by various SAP programs and function modules to extract data that is available in multiple languages. For example, if the field SPRSL is set to DE (German), and the data has a language field such as the text from Country table T100, the German text of the country will be displayed rather than the defaulted language of English for country code 10 (USA).
How will the language issue be addressed?
The language requirement was established in requirement ENFHCM031 in SolMan, and was expanded in APPENDIX-A-ENFHCM031-ESS-Language setting of the requirement.
Basically, the requirement is that USA (English & Spanish)and Canada (English & French) is to have dual language capabiltiies.
The current configurable defaulted language to change the screen to either Spanish or French is by the Country Code and Personal Areas (Company Codes).
USA and Canada default to English screens but the SAP Portal logon (see Appendix A in Solman) screen allows for language changes.
My understanding is that this logon screen is going away with SSO via IDM.
We are being told that technically that the option for the logon screen to remain without entering a User ID cannot be done. Is this true? what is the alternative/solution?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
this is the hierarchy your language settings are taken into account:

  • INVOICE PRINTING IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGE

    Hello friends,
We have offices in different countries so every countries generate there invoices in their language.
Now how to print the invoices depending upon the logon language?
should i create invoices in smart forms or sapscript which one is better?
How to maintain the title and all the text of invoice in different languages?
    Thnks,
    Sunny

    Hi Sunny,
    It is pretty simple.
Create a smartform(it is easy to design & fast to develop) in English Language.
Then goto transaction SE63 & maintain translations in the required language for your smartform texts.
Now, when you logon to the target language & print the invoice, it will print in logon language as per the translations you have maintained.
    Best regards,
    Prashant

  • Invoice needs to be printed in cyrillic language along with english language

    Hi All,
We have been printing invoice only in english lanuage for Kazakhstan ,now they need it printed in cyrillic language also.that is they will have two invoices one in english and anothr one in cyrillic.
Can you please guide me through the configuration steps
1.Do i need to create a language specific scripts for this ?
2.Which all config need to be done from SD side ?
    Thanks
    Manaf

    Hi Manaf,
If you want to have multi language invoice layouts then you have to upload the master data like sales org details, customer details in both the languages ( English & Cyrillic languages)
    1) You also need to get the Cyrillic language details from your user for hard-coding the details in the invoice layout.Ex- INVOICE, CREDIT MEMO, DEBIT MEMO etc.
See below table shows for French language
    Name in English
    Name in French language
    Invoice
    Facture
    Date
    date
    Due Date
    redevable le
    Account
    compte
    Terms
    terme
    Bill To
    facturé à
    Period
    periode
    Desciption
    description
    2) After getting the details in Cyrillic language and we have to work with  technical consultant and give the logic of fetching the data from different tables.
    3) Now, in billing document header output if you input language key as English(EN) then system will pick the English invoice layout or if it is CY then Cyrillic layout will be picked accordingly.

  • I want to design in dual language!

I want to design a magazine in dual language (Arabic and English)… how do I do this? Where can I find an Arabic font?

You will need either the ME version of ID CS5.5 (no longer distributed if you don't already own it), a plugin like World Tools from In-Tools.com, or an upgrade to a Creative Cloud subscription so that you can install a version of ID with Arabic support.

  • Printing multiple format/language in one submission

I'm new to XML Publisher and want to bounce my understanding off of someone to see if I'm understanding things. I have been requested to have one concurrent manager request submitted that will print all of the days invoices in the proper language and format.
Following is my understanding - please verify:
    1. I think I need a RTF template per language/format. I can register one "Template" but assign multiple RTF formats based on Lang/Territory.
    2. I could allow the user to submit one request and it would execute a PL/SQL procedure that would submit multiple XML Report Publisher requests with the appropriate language and territory parameters so the correct RTF is used.
    3. The part I'm not so sure about is how to generate the XML Data. I'm thinking that I would have to actually submit a language/territory specific XML Data generation process before the XML Report Publisher process and feed that request id to the XML Report Publisher process.
    4. Question: is it wise to use the existing Oracle Report with output type XML to do #3 since it is already built and has all of the invoice logic in it?
Any and all feedback on the above is greatly appreciated.
    Carl

You can use the existing report logic to get the data out in XML format as you mentioned.

  • Copying sapscript for printing in different language

    Hi,
I need to create a sapscript which needs to be printed in 2 langauges and assigned to 2 different output types(one for english language and other for Chinese).
I have already created teh sapscript for the english language and not sure how to create the other one for chinese language.
The language for printing will be determined from vendor master.
Do I need to copy the sapscript(English version) and while copying just maintain it in English language or Chinese language?
    Please advise.

    Hi ,
    As David says,
you can create your chinese language layout and use Menu path
Form-> Copy From... and copy your english language  lanyout to your chinese langyage layout.
after that you can use SE63 for translation your english Script to chinese language Script or directly you can change heading text  and other text in inside your layout.
but make sure  if your paragraph format is not support chinese language then you can create new paragraph format for chinese language Script.

  • Need to print  in german language in output.

    Hi,
I need to print my vendor address and delivery address in german language (fetching data from database table) in my form.
How I can achieve this. Please help,
    Regards,
    Himanshu

    Hi,
So i think you should to call fetch the data when your are about to print a form..
best way would be to call a subroutine in a script editor.. this routine will fetch all the data from database table ,, and it wud just like a ABAP form ..
    Pls follow the steps,,
    1. Create a Z program in SE38, declare all the structure related to data fetching in that,, perform all data selection,, fill these data structure..
    2. You should to paste your code within the Form and endform .. Like below:
    REPORT Zcall_in_script .
    form data_fetch.
all the data retreval part .....
    endform.
    3. Now in your script ,, to call this form use below syntex,,
    /:   PERFORM data_fetch  IN  PROGRAM Zcall_in_script
    /:   USING &w_value1&
    /:   USING &w_value2&
    /:    CHANGING &w_value3&
    /:   CHANGING &w_value4&
    /:   ENDPERFORM
    4. here you can have the w_value3 & w_value4 as your fetch value .

Am facing an issue while printing the quality certificate in Ukraine language. I have created the smartform in English, later I maintained the transalations in Ukraine. I will execute the print program by passing the delivery number in selection screen.
