PO Quantity automatic update

Hello Experts,
I am facing a strange problem of automatic update of PO quantity.
As soon as I press enter aftre entering the details in ME21N the PO qnatity changes. I cheked the inforecord for the combination of Vendor and material but there is no such inforecord present.
Can you please help & let me know how to solve this issue.

I put 0 in the rounding value in MM02 for that material and now its working fine.
Now can you please tell me how can I disable to use the rounding off at the time of creation of PO for all materials.

Automatical update of PO quantity when changed in SO

We have a following issue
for our regular business we have a third party process for trading
goods. So we are using on customer sales order stock. In our system
following is possible: We create a sales order and after using of
Purchase requisition we create a purchase order. So now when we change
the quantity in SO and save the SO, this change is automatically done
in the PO as well.
So this really works without canceling the PO first,
changing the SO and creating a PO again.
So now we have implemented a new product in a different sales area with the same process and
with same material type HAWA but this automatical update of quantity is
not working.
What needs to be done to enable this function for our new
product as well?

My colleague was here when the system was implemented. He is not aware of any development here that enables this function. I have been looking for user exits and none are active for this. I have been told that this works only for customer sales order stock but I was not given any reason why.
It seems logical, that in some development a new sales area needs to be included as Bijay said. Anyway we still think this function works without additional development.
@Raghavendra we are using the SAP standard scenario. SO - PR - PO. PO is manually created out of PR in both cases.

Automatic Update of Quantity without BF ?

When I ran a PP cycle, after confirming the production order ( C015), I was expecting to do manual Goods Reciept(MIGO/MB1C), as I didnot maintain backflushing ( neither in material master, Rtg, w/c)

Backflush means automatic goods issue when the quantity is fully confirmed. Auto goods receipt will not happen with backflush setting.
For automatic goods receipt settings we can maintain in two areas.
1. Operation control key in routing., This will work for only one operation. If you have more than one opn in routing for the last opn set this control key. So After confirming final opn goods receipt automatically will happen.
2. Production Scheduling profile : OPKP
Indicate auto goods receipt.
You can not expect which one is higher priority from the above.
If you don't want auto GR, remove from both setting.
If you want make setting in atleast one from the above.
In Production order you can maintain backflush. Production order is the highest priority than material master, workcenter & routing.

MIRO, automatic update Amount when quantity was changed

How to make automatic update in line item MIRO, when i change the Quantity then the Amount must update by automaticly, in current system i always change by manualy

I know that the price may change and hence the amount field is kept open for changes, but i want the amount can update automaticlly when i change qty because when we create invoice (MIRO) the quantity not always same with total PO qty (partial invoice), maybe you can look this my illustration :
1 . PO number = 4500000001
     Qty            = 5
     Price         = 10
     Net Price   = 50
2. GR number = 5000000001
     Qty       = 2
     Amount in local currency = 20
3. GR number = 5000000002
     Qty       = 3
     Amount in local currency = 30
4. create Invoice (MIRO)
      Qty =5 -->this default by system, (now we want to change to 2, for invoicing PO number one)
      Amount = 50 --> this default by system (we want this amount automatclly to become 20)
5. create second invoice

Automatically updating open quantity..is it possible?

Dear all,
I am facing a series of issues related to the open quantity. My client insists that this function is a necessity. However, it's not easy to find out how.
1. Problem
After registering a Purchase Order and Goods Receipt PO, there are cases we have to return Goods Receipt PO.
However, the number appears on Open Qty. does not chance on the original Purchase Order.
Therefore,
1) The total number of goods has to be dealt as if it had been returned, then a complete new Purchase Order has to be made or,
2) A brand new Purchase Order has to be created as many as the goods returned or,
3) Goods Receipt PO has to be processed as many as the goods returned without making any change on the Purchase Order.
2. Request
When a number of goods are returned after being handled on Goods Receipt PO, the Open Quantity automatically reflect the change so that the user does not have to manually change the number
If this is not fixed, the orders and items loose their traces which is not welcomed in the management point of view.
It would be very nice if anyone here can help us out.

Hello Jinah,
I can understand how important it is to keep your customer Happy but this functionality is impossible to achieve. This is a fundamental change to Product design. The fact that it cannot be done the way your customer wants has to be explained as I have not known any Accounting system which would work this way.

Price Automatic updation

Dear Gurus,
we have 2 kinds of material.1.even 2.odd.
while doing sales of even materials price is 100 (for eg).if we create sales order for odd materials it should automatically update its price to 10 % extra than even materials.
the pricing condition type should update depending on even and odd material.
is it possible to do in standard development or we have to go Zprogram??

You have a have additional surcharge condition type (%), say, ZSUR under your base price condition type.
Take help of ABAPer to write a routine for "Alternative formula for condition base value". The routine will have logic, where this surcharge will execute only when there is odd quantity entried.
To have automatic surcharge to come in Sales order, maintain condition record with desired %.
For your reference/understanding you can refer, standard condition type KP01-Incomp.Pallet Surch. @ step 805 with Alt. formula for cond base val routine 24-1 if partial quant.

I automatically updated to Firefox 4.0.1 for Mac, and now the program misbehaves. It hangs when I try to quit. Can I downgrade to 4.0?

I was running 4.0 on my Intel Mac (Leopard 10.5.8), and everything was fine. Firefox automatically updated me to 4.0.1. Then I noticed my computer running very slowly. I am unable to quite Firefox without forcing a quit.
Can I reinstall 4.0? If so, where can I download the original version?

Your users agent is stuck at Firefox 3.0.11 due to a extension during when you had 3.0.11 and it tacked on stuff on end and kept it from updating the version number. This was due to the "Fast Browser Search toolbar" extension (FBSMTWB). This issue is not a problem with Firefox 4.0 and newer.

In Pages 5, how to get date to automatically update upon opening a template?

I'm using Pages 5.2. In prior versions of Appleworks and Pages I was able to construct and save a template in which the date would automatically update to the current date when the template was opened. I have tried "Insert Date" and I can click on that to update to current date, but I don't always remember to do that and therefore, some of my documents are dated several months prior.
Can't seem to find how to do it under Pages 5.2 Anyone have help or a work around?

What confuses me is that all the apple provided templates in pages seem to auto update their time and date upon opening.
So there MUST be a way to do it... although I've been unable to work out how...

Numbered lists in text boxes automatically updating

I have seperate text boxes that are involved in numbered lists, and I want to be able to reorder the text boxes so that they automatically update the numbers within them. How do I do this?! As you can see when I move the text box containing 2.0 numbered list, the following numbers do not update. How do I create this updating numbered list in seperate text boxes?

If you mean the text function in the drawing toolbar, it isn't possible.
You should use frames.

Automatically updating files on local testing Server

I'm using EasyPHP-5.3.5.0 as a testing server on my local machine (I've use EasyPHP for several years). I set up the Site Definition in DW8 using the testing server root folder (www) as the development area; however, this caused problems when I attempted to upload from within DW to the Remote (production) server. I then modified the Site Definition to use a local folder. other then the Testing Server folder, for development which solved the upload problem. Then in the Site Definition I setup the Testing Server using the "PHP MySQL" model with "Local/Network" access. The Testing Server folder was set to "C:\Program Files\EasyPHP-5.3.5.0\" and the "Refresh Testing file list automatically" box was checked. The URL prefex was set to "http://127.0.0.1:8888/" as defined in the EasyPHP instructions. My problem is that Dreamweaver is not updating the files on the testing server when I save a file in the development folder. The development folder and the Testing Server reside on the same computer. If I copy and paste a file to the testing server everything works fine. I would like the testing server files to be automatically updated when I save a file in the development folder which is what the Site Definition seems to indicate should happen. Any thoughts on what the problem is and how to fix it would be appreciated.

I restarted my Firefox this morning and it automatically updated to version 9.0.1. Since that update, I am unable to open Firefox - it is giving no response.

When I try to open it (and this is on a Mac), it does not respond and freezes with a white screen, the tab says "connecting...," and there are no bookmarks or anything showing on the browser. It does not respond at all - I cannot even click into the navigation to change any of the preferences. Please, someone help! Not having Firefox is killing me!

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Installed itunes on another computer and need to turn off automatic update

I have itunes on my desktop at home and it is set to manually update my songs on my ipod (I have more songs on my 80GB ipod video than on my desktop). I am now traveling with a laptop and just installed itunes on my laptop. itunes won't let you turn off the automatic update setting until you plug your ipod into your computer. I am afraid to plug my laptop into my computer because it will automatically update the music (wipe out all my music on my ipod). Can I somehow turn off automatic update (switch to manual) before I plug my ipod into my laptop? Also, I know there is software that allows you to move the music from the ipod to the laptop, but I don't want to move all that music to the laptop. I want to continue updating my ipod manually on my laptop. Please help. Thanks in advance.

If you set the iPod to be manually managed on one computer, that setting will follow the iPod to any other computer you connect it to. However, even if you don't have the iPod set that way, when you connect the iPod to a foreign library, you'll receive an message in iTunes when it recognizes the iPod that the iPod is synced with another library, and you can click 'Cancel' and still get to the iPod's Summary page to put it into manual mode, without it changing any content on the iPod. If it makes you feel better, you can also click Edit and go to Preferences, click the Syncing tab, and select the option to "Disable automatic syncing for iPods & iPhones" prior to connecting your iPod.

Since Firefox version 12, after Firefox automatically applies an update, Firefox will launch and immediately terminate.
The only solution is to manually un-install Firefox, completely clean the registry of Firefox entries, and manually re-install a previous version of Fiirefox that will work -- I use version 4.0. And then manually update that version to the current version.
I DO NOT install the new automatic update option -- that is, the automatic maintenance option.
BUT never the less, EVERY TIME I check for the latest version of Firefox using HELP --> About
Firefox, the UPDATE is AUTOMATICALLY RUN and FIREFOX WILL NOT WORK AGAIN.
I have put with this none sense for 18 versions of Firefox - MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!

Can you bring up the Profile Manager to create a new profile (possibly when starting in Safe Mode by holding down Shift)?
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.
