PO release change

Dear Guru ,
PO release startegy
It is required 3people P1,P2,P3 to release a PO . Once it is released and P3 is the final release .
we require only P3 (user) to make any further changes in that same PO.
what config is required to make it possible . please help

The thing is we have 4 release code .1.mamager2.store manager3.stock inspector4.jr engineer.
In some cases we need all four to make it release the PO . Some cases only 2 .
ie in one (A)scenario we need 1 and 3 only to make release the PO. In some cases (B) !,2,3,4 need to release the PO.
here the problem is .
That is what i mentioned the final person who released will be only authorised to make changes after the PO is released .in Case (A) 3 is authorised personand in case (B) 4 is authorised person

Rfbila00 operating income wrong after release change

Hello,
We are getting ready for a release change from SAP 4.6c to ERP 6.0.
After a test upgrade we compared the numbers in the report rfbila00 (Balance Sheet/Profit and Loss) before and after the release change. Hereby we discovered a huge difference in the line Operating Income. All other line items are ok. Only the line Operating Income is off. So we assume that it is not a data issue, but some wrong / missing setting in SAP.
All settings of the report are identical and also the setting of how the Operating Income gets calculated.
Has anyone an idea what the reason might be?

have a look into directory
\usr\sap\trans\tmp
and additionaly to the latest
\usr\sap\trans\log\SLOG*
file.
specially the 2nd file should normaly tell you more.

Released Change Requests have changed status to modifiable

Hi all,
something very rare happend some days ago in my development R/3 client. Every released change request appear as modifiable, i mean, all the change requests that have been released before a specific day (eg. 14 Setiembre) now appear as modifiable.
The tasks that these change requests contain maintain the correct status (released) but the father change request appear as modifiable.
SAP says something about avoiding import requests(scc1) when other requests are been released. I didn't got it.
Now we need a secure way to correct the status of these requests. Can you help me please.

From my scant knowledge I would recommend reading about SE03 to verify system settings (not modifiable, etc.) and be looking at SCC4 for checking the changeable status for applicable client. You should be checking STMS and its documentation very carefully.<a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/44/b4a0137acc11d1899e0000e829fbbd/frameset.htm">Transport Management System</a>
I am sure other Gurus can help, but I remember reading documentation for these transactions as well as SE95 (Modification Assistant).

New object M_LPET_LGO after release change

Hello,
we are in the progress of a release change from ECC 5.0 to ECC 6.0.
Now we are testing the authorizations and roles.
Some user got the error (/nSu53) that the object M_LPET_LGO is missing.
When we analyze this object in SU24, we did not find any transaction assigned to object M_LPET_LGO ????

Hi ,
guessing, found a note from 2004 there is correction note (770961) probably SAP has created the object by themselves for ECC6.0 so that customer can add this element manually based on the need.
lets wait for some expert from SAP to answer, I have seen two major objects like this so far. Did SAP forget to insert them into a transaction or they found it be useful along with various other MM transactions?

change is request is like a container which consists of all tasks
suppose if you have one task such as creating program or creating structure
or any changes to programs or to structures like that..
when u want to release the request firls u have to release all the tasks in that request then only it will be relesed with out errors
first u should pack all the tasks in request and then only u have to rrelease the request..

Release change request. It remains in pending

Hi all,
when I try to release directly a change request from my development system it started but it remains in pending with the following message "tp successfully connected". In the process of the operating system (W2000) it is present but it does not work.
If I stop the transaction after long time, the process is still present in the list of active process.
This is my SAP release:
SAP R3 Enterprise 470x200 on Windows 2000 server - DB Oracle 9.2.0.6.0
Kernel 640 not unicode patch level 101

PO release change in release code

Hi Gurus,
Earlier a PO was being released by code A1. This employee has left the company so all the release of POs have been held up. So i want to change it & assign it to a different code B2 , please guide.

Try to minimize headache. There may be so many factors/characters involves and you need to study the system 1st and then see the other implications too change or NOT.
Example:
You may have release groups, release codes and respective values to be released are following
Release Group A
Release Code: A5u2026 more then 2000K
Release Code: A4u2026.750K to 2000K
Release Code: A3u2026.250K to 750K
Release Code: A2u2026.50K to 250K
Release Code: A1u2026.0 to 50K
Release Group B
Release Code: B5u2026 more then 2000K
Release Code: B4u2026.750K to 2000K
Release Code: B3u2026.250K to 750K
Release Code: B2u2026.50K to 250K
Release Code: B1u2026.0 to 50K

Problem with File System Repository after release change

Hello,
we have been changing the Portal release from EP 6.0 to SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.0 SP17. The OS of the host is Windows 2003 Server.
If I open the component monitor to watch the repostitories, the state of the file system repositories are red and a error message occurred:
Startup Error: getting mapped math - Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password
I checked the logon credentials....they are ok. Also I checked the access from the Portalhost to the Windows File System....it´s ok too.
In our previous portal release the FSR were ok!!
Is there a difference between the file system repository configuration in portal 6.0 and portal 7.0?

Release change 4.6c - mySAP ECC6 - querys lost

hi,
we have changed our sap-system from 4.6c to mySAP. Now we have problem that the querys no longer exists
I have looked at query-tables AQDB, AQGDB, AQLDB... and the tables are filled, but if I call SQ01 no querys displayed. Must I activated the query's?
Any idea to solve this problem?

Lets try this first. Go to SQ01, click Envirnoment, Query Areas, now select radiobutton for standard area. Now you should be able to choose your user group and see the queries.

Ensuring rollback ability after a Release change

Hi, im planing to upgrade from 9.2.0.3 to 9.2.0.6.
I case of Problems after the upgrade i want to be able to go back to 9.2.0.3.
So, i make sure to have a full offline Database Backup of all datafile stuff and the binary intallation directories (../oracle/product/*). Are there any other files to Backup (libs etc.) and what are the locations?

Having a "GOOD" offline backup is the least you'd need, as you could always reinstall the binaries. But, the backup along with the binaries should be all you need to be confident that if you need to rollback as long as you are using seperate ORACLE_HOMEs for 9.2.0.3 and 9.2.0.6.

Need to Change PR after Release

Hi,
We have a PR which is created and Released. It is configured in such a way that after release, changes are not allowed. Now, the user wants to change the Purchase Group field (only that field) in the PR without re-triggering the release strategy. I checked the Release Indicator in the Release Strategy and changed the field 'Changeable' to the value 2.
Now, it allows to change the Purchase Group. But, user also be able to add new line items to PR, which we don't want to allow.That means, user should only be able to change the Purchase Group field of the existing line items. No other changes should be allowed.
How we can solve this issue.. Please give me your suggestions.

I tried that. As you said, it will make all fields as 'Display' and only 'Purchasing Group' as editable.
But, the problem is, it will allow the user to add a new line item to the PR without affecting the Release Status.
I don't want to allow the user to add another line item.
Is there any control in the field 'Changeable' where we give the values 1 to 4 ? Please let me know.
