PO Response Workflow

Hi,
I am using WS14500019 workflow for PO response workflow if there is any difference in PO POR.
My problem is whenever POR is creating this workflow is triggering and it send an approval work item to the buyer, then workflow is going to the error status.
I have checked in the workflow log, it is showing that, WS14500003 is not in Active status.
This workflow is sub workflow in the Ws14500019. It is not in Active status also I found that there is no step beside in the sub workflow.
I am confused that why SAP has not activated this workflow, why there is no step type declared.
Please give me Suggestions, how can I resolve this issue. Please let me know if you need more information.

Hi IA,
I got your point, but it will create a version to the sub workflow. there is no step type defined in this sub workflow.
Ws14500019 is having, at the starting it is going to parallel processing i.e Ws14500003 and Approver workitem.
If i activate the ws14500003 workflow, at run time approval work item will be vanshied from user inbox.because Fork having 1 0f 2.
Hope , u understand the situation. Pleas give me some suggestion.
Do i need to add any dummy step to the sub workflow for waiting status, the approval workitem will not be vanshied from user inbox.
Is this is correct way? Please let me know if you have any ideas.

SUS MM POR (Purchase Order Response) Workflow

All,
I am trying to configure MM-SUS(Plan Driven Procurement) scenario with SRM 5.5 and EEC 6.0. XI is set up. There is no SRM. It only ECC and SUS.
Steps
1- PO is created in ECC, transmitted to SUS.
2- On SUS Supplier logs on and processes PO
Problem-1: Supplier has to confirm twice before PO shows status Confirmed
POR is transmitted on first attempt and PO acknowledgement is shown in po in ECC.
Problem-2
Where is the POR approval workflow, purchaser needs to approve this POR, I am not able to find or trigger any workflow for this POR.
Is this workflow in SUS or it is in ECC.
I have looked at the starting conditions for BUS2232, no starting conditions.
For BUS2209, there are starting conditions, is this the pertinent business object.
Any help will be greatly appreciated and points will be awarded for relevant response.
Hope to hear from you all using POR approval workflow in MM-SUS scenario.

Purchase Order Response workflow.

Hi Masters of SRM.
My scenario is MM-SUS version 5.0
the request is started a Workflow maybe new or standar, in POR confirmation by Vendor when Response has variance in qty or delivery dates. I know exist a wf standar but in scenario SRM-SUS but in mi scenario not know about.

Workflow Admin read only responsibility in EBS 11.5.10.2

Hi All,
I have a requirement to create a read only workflow administrator. For that I have done the below steps.
1. Created one permission set with Monitor Data.
2. Created one role and one grant for that role with the above selected permission set.
3. Then I have assigned the responsibility Workflow Administrator Web (New) to a user.
4. Assigned the above created role to to that user.
Then I tried to access the WF pages from that user, but still he is able to do all the activities that is possible by the Workflow Administrator Web Applications responsibility.
When I navigated to Workflow Administrator Web Applications-->Administration, Workflow System Administrator LOV is having value '*'. I changed that to 'Workflow Administrator Web Applications', and tried to access Workflow Administrator Web (New) from the above user.
Now no buttons are enabled for him. But in the Status Monitor, the user will be able to view only the Workflows owned by him.
But my requirement is to view all users workflow.
Can anyone guide me on how to achieve that.?
Also, I found that there is no significance for assigning Monitor Data permission. Please suggest me on that aspect also.

Should be able to query everything as the admin does. But won't be able to perform any actions.
Looking forward for your valuable comments.I did manage to create the same using (How to Restrict Access to Data in the Workflow Monitor based on Item Types? [ID 559072.1]) but for specific item type (omit this step if you want to have access to all item types).
If you could share the steps you followed (in details) to implement the above, it would be helpful.
Please also review (How to enable Workflow Owned By LOV in Workflow Status Monitor for a User other than SYSADMIN [ID 1328447.1]) and see if it helps.

Restrict Workflow Administrator responsibility for a business group

My requirement is to restrict the Workflow Administrator responsibility to a specific business group so that the administrator can view all notifications/transactions for a given business group only for ALL item types. I tried following the steps given in the document 'Oracle Self-Service Human Resources (SSHR) Release Notes, Release 12.1.1' metalink id 578360.1. However, it doesnt seem to be working. Any idea on how to do this configuration?

Below are the steps to reproduce the issue:
1) Create a security profile 'XXX-UK-WF' with following values:
Business Group: <UK business group name>
View Employees: Restricted
View Contingent Workers: Restricted
View Applicants: restricted
View Contacts: Restricted
View Candidates: All
Organization Security Tab--> Security Type: View All Organizations(No Security)
2) Set the HR: Security Profile option at the responsibility level for the Workflow Administrator Web(New) responsibility.
3) Log on to the Functional Developer responsibility and search for the predefined Workflow Item Attribute Values (WF_ITEM_ATTRIBUTE_VALUES) object.
4) Click the Update icon to navigate to the Update Object page.
5) Click Create Grant on the Grants tab.
On the Define Grant page, enter the following details:
In the Name field, enter a descriptive name for the grant.
Specify the effective date for the grant as '01-Sep-2011'.
In the Grantee Type field, select 'Group of users' and select teh responsibility 'Workflow Administrator Web(New)' in the Grantee field.
6)In the Object field, select the delivered object Workflow Item Attribute Values
7)On the Grant: Select Object Data Context page, select the HR Self-Service Selected Person ID Instance Set (HRSS_WF_ATTR_PERSONID_INSTSET)
8) On the Grant: Define Object Parameters and Select Set page:
In the Set field, enter the delivered Business workflow item attribute permission set (WF_ADMIN_ITEM_ATTR_PSET).
Click Finish to complete the grant creation process.
9) Logout and login as a user having Workflow Administrator Web(New) responsibility. Navigate to Administer--> Status Monitor. Search for all the workflows started this week. All the transactions from all the business groups will be listed. ideally, only the transactions occuring in UK business groups should have been listed.

How to purge the workflow which is in process

I am facing one problem in the AME Workflow.
when a user submit a page for approval process, workflow engine invokes . and in the hr_api_transcations table transacation id is created for that workflow transacation. now the problem is, if i purge that workflow process using concurrent program 'PURGE OBSELETE WORKFLOW RUNTIME DATA' . it is deleting the workflow. but when i see the hr_api_transacation table still the transacation id for that workflow is active.
Example :-
when i see through through the responsibility (workflow administrator web applications)=>Administrator workflow=>Status monitor
when i type the item key say some x and search for the workflow status i cant see the workflow status. i can see it is deleted.
but when i type the same item key in the hr_api_transacation
like :- select * from hr_api_transactions where item_key='X' i can see the status of this transacation is active and workflow is in pending.
can anyone explain me why system is behaving like.. how to stop the workflow process and how to delete the transacation id from the table.

How to remove default name in "Workflow owned by" in Status Monitor?

Hi,
I want to be able to view different users' Expenses workflow from the responsibility "Workflow Administrator Web (New)", however, the "workflow owned by" is defaulted to be the person who login.
Can anyone advise how I can remove this set up?

Hi,
The owner of the workflow process will be the person who started it. The WF_ENGINE.SetItemOwner API is used to set this, or it is defined in the creation process automatically.
If you want to access workflows which are not owned by you, then you need to log in as a user who has been assigned the responsibility which is configured to be the Workflow Administrator. The default value for this is SYSADMIN, but it may have been changed in your system - have a look at the Administration tab from the Workflow pages, and it will show you what responsibility / which user is configured as the workflow administrator. Only they can access workflows which do not belong to them.

Activate workflow in SUS

Hi everybody,
I need to activate these workflows in SUS: WS14500007 and WS14500017.
Does anybody know if they can be used in SRM 6.0?
And if they can be used for classic and extended classic scenarios?

The PO Response workflow is in SRM side, not in SUS client.
I think SRM50 templates are obsolete because new workflow framework has been implemented in SRM60.

SALES ORDER LINE IS CANCELLED BUT DELIVERY DETAIL IS SHOING AS BACKORDERED

SALES ORDER LINE IS CANCELLED BUT still the DELIVERY DETAIL IS showing as BACKORDERED it should be in cancelled
status.The Sales order (only one ex:3904854) is cancelled , however order in shipping transactions screen indicates order is on backorder.
at that time of order cancellation the line level workflow error out due to the Workflow package is inactive .
I tried to resubmit the error out workflow using retry option from the responsibility “Workflow Administrator” the workflow is completed with forcible option but still the delivery detail is in back order status not changing it to cancel status.

You need a simple script to get the status corrected. Log an SR or search metalink for the script. I am sure there is one out there (if you search with the orphan reservations). This script supported, but not exactly targeted at your problem But it will solve it. You can log an SR and confirm.

I'm aware of that page, but there is often hundreds of other additions that are never mentioned there, or anywhere on the site at all... for example, all the smart playlists additions in (not so) recent versions were never mentioned there, nor (I think) were the addition of skip counts. There's all kinds of things apple adds into to itunes with every release - which I do appreciate... I'm just saying...
Imagine if your wife/mom/whatever called your cable company and added channels to your cable package (and paid for them herself), but never told you about it... Sure it was nice of her, but you won't ever notice, until two months later when you are flipping through channels, and you leave it on Showtime long enough to notice there's actually a picture there....

Notification Detail Page is not displaying

I have a requirement of creating a read only workflow admin responsibility. For that I have followed the below steps.
1. Set 'Workflow Administrator Web Applications' as the Workflow Administrator from administration tab.
2. Create a grant with the below details.
Grantee Type: All Users
Responsibility: Workflow Administrator Web (New)
Object: Workflow Items
Data Context Type: All Rows
Permission Set: Business workflow item permission set
I have done this for viewing the workflow owned by all users and followed the ID 1328447.1 for doing this.
Now everything is working fine, but Notification Detail page is not displaying. It is loading for a long time and
giving the errors, ('The connection was reset' in Mozilla and 'Page Cannot be Displayed' in IE).
Notification detail page will come when I remove this Grant, but it will display only the workflows owned by
that particular user. So this grant is a mandatory component for me.
The issue is there even for the admin responsibility(Workflow Administrator Web Applications) when assigning
this grant.
Can anyone help me on this to resolve this issue.

Java Mailer and R12

Gurus,
We have an R12 instance running on Solaris. I had configured the Java mailer during
the installation and it used to work fine. For the past few days (and am still trying
to figure out what was changed) the behaviour of the mailer is inconsistent.
Mailer is not sending few notification emails and even if it sends, it is not
sent on-time. There is always a delay (of 20 mts to sometimes 2 hrs). The following
is the ONLY piece of log available and that is from FNDCP*txt

i used the following in 11i to check the Schedule of notification mailer and when it runs
1. Go into the responsibility: Workflow Administrator Web Applications.
2. Navigate to Workflow Manager
3. Click on Notification Mailer> Select the Workflow Mailer> Click on Edit
Click on Next button until the Schedule Events section is open.
check the when it run for me it used to runs onece each 10 min and i changed it to run onces each/day it was my busines requermtns
i am not sure if it the same in R12

I suggest that you download the worklist jsp from the developer site.
Although this was for wls 5.1 and wlpi 1.2 you will find that the actual
java code within the jsp has not changed and is a good source of
documentation.

With maverick Mail won't let me search at all. Anyone able to help?

With my new powerbook came Maverick. Now mail won't let me search at all. Can anyone help me solve this please?

I have exactly the same problem. I received an important mail just two days ago and search doesn't even find it. Flagged mail no longer works either, so it's nigh on impossible for me to find my mails to respond to later. It's accurate to say that to me, in general Mavericks Mail.app is no longer a useful mail tool since it utterly breaks my mark-for-later-response workflow.
What's worse is that this is a massive regression. This all used to work fine. It's somewhat upsetting that I can use my four-year-old Apple laptop to effectively use email and yet my brand new one is useless. With "progress" like this, how can Apple expect brand loyalty?
EDIT: In case any Apple people read this, I am using a Google Apps mail account.

Buyer takes no action

Hello,
we are having a problem with a specific Purchase Order that buyer cannot approve and forward to the next level in the hierarchy.
When buyer press the button "forward" the buyer appears in the action history as taking no action and the document is still with him.
What can be wrong ? How to fix it ?

You can try forwarding the approval notification to the supervisor of the person from the workflow.
Take the work flow item_key from po_headers_all for a particular PO and go to the responsibility Workflow Administrator -> Find Process and enter the item key and click on find.
In the Workflow diagram screen, check where it is stuck and try to expedite from that stage and in the attribute screen, add the person name,email for the attributes forward_to_id and forward_to_name and check if it gets forwarded?
You can also try forwarding/assigning a OPEN approval notification to another person
