PO Restriction if no version triggered

Dear All,
How to restrict the user from saving the PO if there is no Version tab in PO. Like in some cases without version (even 0 version also) PO gets saved.
The user enters all the field in PO and at last by mistake clicks the cursor on the doc type and presses space in order to change the document type before entering the correct document type. System in the same moment removes the version tab in that po and after user selects the correct document type immediately saves the PO.
At the time of saving system should check whether Version is been triggered or not.
Please let me know the badi or userexit for restricting it. We tried it with badi ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST but couldnt able to get.

Set the Version zero,
when you create any new PO then version zero will get defaulted for the combination maintained,

Please Note that Version Management will work on combination of Doct category/doc type and pur org, Please check do you have that combination

  • Are Disc Menu Templates Restricted to Certain Versions of Premiere Elements

    I ask this question after visiting the movipix site to look at what templates I might add to my PrE 9 program. This got me to wondering if templates are restricted to certain versions of PrE. After reading various posts in this forum I thought I was getting the message that any templates from Premiere Elements 4 to Premiere Elements 10 were interchangeable. It was a matter of inserting the subfolder from one program into the category folder of another program?
    If I were to order a template from the movipix website would I have to check to make sure which versions it would work in? I read where version 9 had some problems with some templates that would not allow menu background video or pictures to show up on the burned dvd even though it was in preview before burning. AT Romano had played with some of the templates but I never could find out if the problem was resolved by Adobe.

    Thank you for your response. A wealth of information. Quite a bit of it I had already read. You've gone to a lot of work. Of most interest to me were a couple of posts. One in this forum "Using Disc Menus from Premiere Elements 4 in Premiere Elements 12". (Sorry I didn't copy the message #).     These posts are explaining pretty much how to install additonal templates, either between versions, or downloaded templates? Very good. One question on the Elements Village post though. You mentioned deselecting "Read Only" in the properties dialog box of the folder to be transferred. Is this only necessary if transferring from one computer to another? or should this be done when transferring from one PrE version to another within the same computer?
    I think you have answered my question on using menu templates across the board from PrE version 4 thru 12. Just a matter of getting them in the correct folders as you have pointed out in your various posts. And it appears that only PrE 9 had the issues that didn't get fixed by Adobe as far as menu background & audio not getting burned to disc?
    To give more details on the Menu and Scene Selection buttons. I should have said PLAY ALL instead of Menu. I did not modify them. I merely dragged the Play All button to the bottom left and the Scene button to the bottom right of the Main Menu page. The arrows pointing to them went along with the text. But on the burned DVD they seem to be reversed when the arrow is highlighting the choice to be made. Play All selects Scenes and vice versa. I probably won't be using this template again anyway but was interesting.
    Not sure where to post this next question. Is there a way to start a post? where members can list a few of their favorite Disc Menu Templates that they use all the time? Kind of a vague question but I'm guessing out of all of the available templates in each of the versions of PrE only a few get used over and over. As the list would grow people could vote (?) on various ones and some kind of master list might be produced for future use or download. For example: PrE version (or a downloaded version like from Movipix ) used, templates used, categories (ie:general,entertainment, etc.) It seems as though a new version introduced adds some templates and takes some away. Then people are left looking or trying to figure out how to replace them (such as transferring them as we have been discussing)

  • Restricted or Unrestricted version - how to confirm

    I just took over a customer environment of Unity Connection 8.5 globally.  I need to confirm if any of these clusters have UNRESTRICTED software.
    Im hoping it is all RESTRICTED, however they have asked for confirmation.  Can someone please tell me how i can confirm this, either from the CLI or webpages?  I can not located the software which was used for the installations.

    show cuc version will indicate if it's UNRESTRICTED.  If you don't see anything specified, then you're running RESTRICTED.

  • New restrictions on iTunes version for connection to iTunes U / Store?

    I use a dedicated system for processing data in via applescripts with iTunes/Quicktime Pro etc which has been working fine up until today. Now it won't connect to iTunes store.
    Is the current version of iTunes required to make connection?
    My other machines with current iTunes v work fine.

    I'm running 6.05 in production due to the changes in the data structure in the 7 revisions of iTunes.
    My scripts identify files in the library while processing them into mp3 and m4b audio files.
    But the current store changes are accross the board, I'm assuming for iphone and other Apples sales related content.
    The iTunes U side of things is like a forgotton relative sometimes. I realize you've got to take care of business and that this part is a gratis.

    Release : ECC 6.0
    we are working on custom WF for ECO creation(CC01).
    Description,
    ECO is created in SAP by legacy system, thru bapi CCAP_ECN_CREATE, the WF will take the editing of the material in that ECO to different departments like MRP, accounting, sales,quality etc.... & respectively creates the views.
    we cannot use CREATE event, bcos first the ECN(CC01) is created by bapi & further bapi creates the material & inserts it into ECN again, which is CHANGING the document. once this is done, our WF should trigger.
    As we dont have CHANGE event in ECM BO, i am using CREATE event & settting it for ON CHANGE in SWEC t-code.
    Bottomline is , it is triggering as soon as any changes happens.
    But, we want it to restrict for one time triggering.

Then, is it possible to do restriction on ACS Version 5.x?

    Be careful when configuring a DNIS in ACS5, maybe you are hitting CSCtk16271 (but there is an easy workaround, so this will definitely work!)

  • Database Links and Triggers

    Hello altogether,
    I'm not sure if I am in the right topic here, if not please excuse!
    I got the following problem:
    My system consists of two parts - one calculation part P1, and one output part P2. Both parts have their own Oracle DBMS. The calculation part P1 calculates a lot of data and replicates this data to the database of the output part P2.
    I created a database link from P1 to P2.
    Now I used triggers to replicate the data from tables on P1 side to tables on P2 side.
    Problem:
    This works fine, as long as the number of inserted or updated entries is low. If it increases, I get the error "Too many database links in use", and everything is stuck. I guess this is because too many triggers fire in parallel.
    Question:
    Is there a possibility to restrict the number of triggers executed in parallel (some kind of semaphor to serialize on), or can multiple triggers share the same database link?

    Besides from using normal oracle replication I would check your triggers.
    Do they fire and access the DB for each row? May change this to statement level.
    Or switch from some synchonous process (immediatly update the target database) to some asynchronous process (mark the records that needs to be updated/changed, every half an hour do the change).
    3rd version? DO you really need two databases? Consider 2 separate schemas on one database instance.

  • Problem using TAPI triggers and merge statement

    I use Designer tapi triggers on a table. When I try to execute a merge statement, I get the following error:
    ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: NULL index table key value.
    Is there a restriction when using TAPI triggers and merge statements that anyone is aware of?

    No restrictions on MERGE commands that I know of. I have, however, seen the TAPI give inexplicable ORA-06502 errors. It would help to know what line in which procedure or trigger gave the error. That information should have been in the error stack.

    The sole purpose of the field Category i.e Data output category is reporting ,Which means when you check the report of Display Changes for a version in PO it will show you all the fields (as per SAP all fields are of same importance ) but if you want to impose importance to those fields according to your need then you assign a category and later you can sort the list based on this category 
    Now how it works lets take an example
    Suppose you create a PO take print out and then changed few data in PO so new version triggers -> Mark this version as completed and saved the PO
    Now after that your boss or any one want to see what changes you have made for that PO so he select version 1 in header and click on Display changes
    Field........................................old value.......New value.......Changed by......Changed On....Category   
    1> Price ................................100 EUR.......120 EUR...........user1234..........18.02.12................A

    Now out of these 6 field you assigned Price and Quantity as category  A (say most important)
    Material short text and Requisitioner as category B (Medium importance)
    Req. tracking no.  and   Tax code as category C      ( Less importance)  
    So it just an additional information for you to categorized and easily identify important fields among many other changed fields.

  • Crystal Runtime 10.5 for Visual Studio 2008 - viewer/full version support

    Hi - can reports developed in VS 2008 (CR basic 10.5) be run externally using a full or viewer version ?  If so, is there a restriction on which versions can be used for this (2008 / 11 / 13 etc) and whether the version must be full vs viewer ?
    The background is that we have an old asp.net 3.5 system that is being migrated from Windows 2008 / IIS 7 to Windows 2012 / IIS 8 - the app runs fine but it seems the 10.5 runtime is no longer supported.  Recompilation using VS 2010 isn't an option so I was looking at client-side solutions if possible to run the reports outside of the .net app - preferably using a free viewer as the reports will not be re-designed.
    I'm hoping this is a straightforward question but I've checked a few sites/forums and this isn't very clear.  Grateful if someone can advise or point me to a site which clearly covers this.

    I don't know if you are looking for a web or win viewer, but as you are mentioning servers, I assume you are looking for some sort of a web viewer(?). And there is no such thing. There is a Windows viewer:

    CR 10.5 is supported - will be until Dec. 31, 2018: SAP Crystal Products - End of Mainstream Maintenance Dates: Current Products
    However there are no fixes planned. Additionally CR 10.5 does not support WIN 2012. CR 2008 (v. 12.x) is supported in VS 2008 and when updated to Service Pack 7, you will get support for WIN 2012. See SAP Crystal Reports 2008 SP7 for Windows - Supported Platforms.
    So, in a nutshell; upgrade the app to CR 2008, SP 7 and all should be fine.

  • Downgrading firmware on WRT54G/access restrictions

    I had a WRT54G.  Access restrictions worked.  I upgraded the firmware and the access restrictions no longer worked. 
    So after researching, it appears the firmware I upgraded to was buggy and the access restrictions didn't work with the new firmware.  I couldn't figure out how to downgrade back to what I had. 
    Called Linksys and ultimately they said they would send a new router.  I asked if it would have the old firmware that my router had previously, where the access restrictions worked.  Yes, they said.
    New router arrives today.  Firmware is v1.02.2, June 7, 2007.  NOT the prior firmware.  Sure enough, the access restrictions still do not work on this router either.  I don't want to spend yet another two weeks trying to resolve this with Linksys.
    Question:  Is there a way to downgrade to firmware where the access restrictions actually work for WRT54G?  If so,
    what version should I downgrade to?
    where do I obtain it? and
    can I download the firmware and then install it using the administration/upgrade firmware tab on the router (even though it is a downgrade)?

    Thanks for the suggestion, Badboy.  Unfortunately, although I could download the firmware and successfully load it onto the router, the access restrictions in that version do not work either.
    It doesn't seem as though all prior versions of firmware are on the ftp site, ftp.linksys.com.  For example, I also have a wrt54gs v. 4 (speedbooster) with the same access restriction problem.  It currently has a firmware version loaded that doesn't appear to be listed on that website.  (I couldn't download prior firmware for that version that worked.)  So, perhaps prior firmware exists for the wrt54g v. 6 that is not listed on that site also.
    Does anyone know if there is another site that has a more extensive collection of prior linksys firmware? 
    If not, I suppose I can call linksys again, but even if they send yet another router promising the old firmware on it, I suspect the message is just going to get lost between the promise made on the phone and the guy in the warehouse filling the RMA order.

    Actually i uninstalled the existing version of Flash Player from my Windows 8 PC, but when i tried to install the older version, it was not allowing me to install and was showing that my browser is included with latest version.
    Even i followed the below given websites, it didn't given any remedy for it.

  • JDeveloper crashes with triggers

    Hi,
    I still have a problem while trying to edit a trigger body from inside JDeveloper. In Connections-Navigator I can choose a trigger, but if I want to edit it, the IDE crashes without any warning. I even tried to create a new trigger, but the effect is the same. I have to mention that I'm using a Oracle 8i database. Of course I can use SQL*Plus for editing, but is this a bug?     unfortunately I've got no message. The IDE is completely blocked out. I'm running it on a Windows XP Prof machine, so I have to kill the process (task manager), in order to get it running again. I think the problem might be the DBMS version (8i), because I tried it also connecting to a 10g and it works fine. Are there any restrictions regarding the version of the DBMS while trying to edit a trigger? By the way, right clicking on an existing trigger blocks the IDE too.
    Wait, I've let it run and now I've got the trigger in the editor, but after about 15 min. Now it's blocked again (CPU activity:0; memory usage: 73012 KB). Now special scanning activity from the antivirus program.
