PO status "Error in Transfer" but PO mail triggred to vendor

Hi,
We are using SRM 4.0 extended classic scenario (SP07).
Apparently PO goes in "Error in transfer" status & it is not replicated into R/3 however in the mean time PO mail gets triggered to vendor & Vendor receives a PO copy mail in his inbox.
According to me it's very strange behavior.
Has anybody come across any such behavior before?
Any help is appreciated & awarded with full points.

Okay..according to you this is a standard behavior of a SRM system. Once PO is created & ordered on SRM , it will always triggered to Vendor. It has nothing to do with whether PO reached to R/3 or not.
I checked the log in Application monitoring & also on RZ20. It says that "No account assignment exists for service line 0000 000001" however Line item 1 is actually deleted in the PO.
We have many such cases of PO's where PO status is "Error in transfer" & application monitoring gives a error log about item which are actually deleted from the PO.
What could be the problem?

    This I have seen before...
    It can be that the SMTP relay server is configured to only allow certain IP ranges or addresses.
    It can be that the firewall on the SP server does not allow for SMTP traffic (normally 25, for example for Exchange).
    It can be that there is an Antivirus on the SP server(Client AV) that prohobits the Timer service to send email from this server. I have seen MacAfee do this. Needed an policy change.
    If, its the builtin SMTP service you are using, check this link:

    Im trying to publish a web gallery to be hosted on BC. Despite having what seem the correct settings im getting an error: FTP transfer failed ' unknown message'. Have checked with techs on BC. They say FTP working fine that end.
    Any suggestions?

    Have you tried connecting to another FTP server in Lightroom?
    For example, if you get a free Flickr account, can you login to it and upload a file to it?
    If you can't upload to any server, then you have a general FTP-in-Lr problem, but if problem is only with BC then, well, it's time to start scrutinizing the BC settings..

    the problem was due to high volume message (247 MB ) ...Java stack was not able to process this huge message ,that is the reason ,it started automatically  and as a result  , "HTTP Status Code 200 Received But Error During Response Parsing" due to unavailability of AFW during Call adapter step in the pipeline processing...
    We have done the following activities in order to solve this problem....
    increase the value of  icm/HTTP/max_request_size_KB to 512MB
                                        icm/wp_roll_timeout   to maximum
                                        HTTP TIMEOUT to 1800 sec
                                       icm/wp_roll_timeout   to maximum
                                         mpi/total_size_MB  to maximum
                                       mpi/buffer_size  to maximum
    and then increased the maxthreadcount ,maxcontentlength using config tool...
    and also increased the java heap size to maximum....
    After doing everything ,the file has been successfully processed....
    the problem has been resolved...

  • Redwood CPS job goes to status ERROR but job works completes ok in SAP

    When I schedule a particular ABAP job to run in SAP from Redwood CPS it always completes with the Error status in CPS, but the job runs okay and ends in the Finished status in SAP.
    I tried a different ABAP job and this ran okay, with the CPS status going to Completed.
    I had a look at the CPS log files for the Erroring job and there were no errors in the 'log' file but in the 'step1/spool1' file there is the line 'Processing completed with errors'. Is CPS doing a little more than SAP as regards checking job statuses and looking in the spool file for errors?
    Checked the operator messages and all it says is:
    Job 1501323 (submitted from ZGB_FI_KO8G_SETTLEMENT copy from 2009/08/24 15:34:54,250 Europe/London)) has aborted due to at least one error while running the jobs in step: Job 1501324 (submitted from ZGB_FI_KO8G_SETTLEMENT copy from 2009/08/24 15:34:54,250 Europe/London))
    - doesn't elaborate why the job has status Error.
    Is this saying the CPS part had an error or the ABAP part??

    Hi Anton
    I checked the Return Code Mapping for this system and it is empty. No post running action or a trigger has been configured.
    The first time I was having the error was after setting up a 2 step job chain. When I got the error (and the second step didn't run) I then submitted this first simple step from the job definition SAP_AbapRun in case there was an issue with the way I'd configured the chain; it still errorred though. All I am specifying is the ABAP program name, SAP job name, variant and queue to run on, and it does run okay in SAP.
    When you say "The actual error should be available in the logfile of the SAP job itself" do you mean the joblog as viewing in SM37? There are no errors in there.
    I'll have a play with the Return Code Mapping part as if CPS does search the spool for errors (perhaps by default?) and sets the status to error in CPS, I don't want it to stop the chain - although I guess I can always set the post action of step 1 to 'on error' 'continue'...

  • SC approved, but doesn't create followon doc and NO error in transfer

    Hi,
    I am getting this strange issue. My cart is approved and i am expecting follow on PO doc to be created.
    However no PO is created and strangely when i checked there is no error related to Error in Transfer too.
    checked monitors and no info there on this sc.
    How come SC is not even resulted in error in transmission?

    There is no issue logged in ST22 and also no alerts found in ST22. Checked BBP_PD too. It shows as approved. thats it.

    All my settings are working fine. The issue is i am having this problem only with very few shopping carts. Rest of them working fine and createing followon documents. If not, they are showing up as error in transfer and can see the log in RZ20.
    But with this cart, i don't see any alert in RZ20. There is no entry found in BBP_Document_tab also.
    I tried to run Get_Status program and it this SC is showing as not transferred and then i tried to run REQREQ also..but its not working.
    So i am wondering what could be the reason for not being transferred to backend.
    Appreciate any inputs/clues.

I have used the Disk Utility to repair files and rest Safari. I have deleted Firefox then downloaded a fresh version, still the same error messages ! Please help it's driving me nuts.

    Your first theory may be correct.
    If you haven't already, change your password on your .mac account. That will stop any further action by the other fellow. Even if you can't tease out the detail of what happened exactly, you can at least fix the problem with the password change.
    Also if you left on good terms, contact the new owner of the workMac and ask if s/he used your .mac account.

    Experts,
    I am trying to send GR from MM to SUS in MM-SUS Classic Scenario on ECC 6.0 Server. I have also configured Goods REceipt Notifications Functionality to sending GR from MM to SUS.
    When i am trying to send GR Idoc is generated (STDPOD) but i am getting the Error whose status - 29 in WE02 t-code :
    Status Message for Selected IDoc
    Status Text:   IDoc: 0000000000211243 Status: Error in ALE service
    T100 Text:     Entry in outbound table not found
    While i have properly configured Partner Profile for  Message Type STPPOD :
    Partner Role          Basic Type     Receiver Port           Application     Output Mode
    LS        DELVRY03       A000000018 (XI port)           GRN               Transfer Idoc Immediately
    When i try WE19 t-code for this idoc, i found  the error "Port '' does not exist in the table of port descriptions"
    while  i have already defined port (A000000018)in WE21 t-code  and this port also working fine for other messages.
    Please suggest.

    Issue is resolved it was the wiered error. As i removed LS from the field  Partner Role in STPPOD message at  partner profile(WE20) for SUS Client in ECC. Now the message STPPOD outbound message working fine.

  • PO Output is possible for SRM PO's in status Error in Process

    Hello All ,
    We have a requirement, where system should not process the PO output when the PO is in u201Cerror in transfer status u201C .
    While creating the PO -> If the SRM PO is in Error in Process status, output will be processed and its sent to vendor also.
    Since Error in Process status in business point of view consider as error free PO but fails to transfer the PO to back-end due to some technical or customization.
    While changing the PO -> if the SRM PO is in Error in Process, We can stop the process the output with the help of OSS Note 1324180 which has been already implemented.
    Can anybody tell me how can we achieve this . Any pointers. We have also tried with condition based output workflow start conditions also .but it couldnu2019t work .

    Please check in RZ20 what specific error is being shown and accordingly either error message can be changed to warning message or customization should be done so as to replicate the PO into backend.

    As I create a Sales Order with ref. to Quotation,I get a message in the status Bar mentioned in the Subject line.
    Condition type JIN1 is not maintained in the Sales Document Pricing Procedure but mentioned in the Tax procedure.
    Detailed Error Description:-
    Error during transfer of tax condition JIN1
    Message no. VH807
    Diagnosis
    A condition type is found in the tax determination procedure, which is not available in the current document pricing procedure.
    If I see the JIN1 condition Type detail in the sales order,there is an added option in Control data :- X (Inactive via formulae of incorrect).

    Check in your pricing procedure, whether you have maintained this condition type.  Next check in FTXP whether you have maintained the required percentage against this condition type
    Incidentally, if you are in ECC6, condition type for CST is JIN7 and not JIN1 in which case, check in V/07 and select MWST

    We have some SC that are still in status "Item in Transfer Process". THey have no error but we don't get the R/3 document. In our case we must get Purchase Requisition but we have nothing. We can"t transfer manually the SC in the monitor because the button is disable for those SC. Can someone help us?

    I have query how to have the JTA transaction in SEI(Service endpoint interface) generated by WSDL.
    I have a MDMListener (using MDM API) which looks for a recordchange in MDM repository which needs to be send to PI7.1 via soap request.
    1) I had imported the WSDL from ESR(PI) and generated outside-in proxy.
    2) Created ejb3.0 stateless session bean using NWDS
    3) Created web service client application by generating the WSDL again (by Generate client)
    4)Added a method callPI()with Service and i set the context with endpointaddress property as the soap location of the sender agreement configured in PI7.1.
    The damean thread listener(EventDispatcher) looks for MDM record change and it calls the method callPI() from ejbsession bean by lookup to transfer the record to PI7.1 system via webservices(web method). I hit the below error.
