Po text to be automatically copied in clearing document

We need to have the PO text of each line item to be replicated in the text box for each clearing document . Currently in clearing document manual text of PO is entered and our client needs that PO text should automatically get copied while clearing accounting document number.
Pls help me to resolve this issue.

Linking of FI clearing document to its scanned image stored in Open Test

Hello Gurus,
I have a requirement in which scanned copy of clearing document which is stored using Open text should be linked to the clearing document in SAP. I am new to this concept, can anyone help me with how to go about this. I am suppose to write a custom program as there is custom logic for selecting the clearing document for this.. how should I go about this??

Update copied to multiple documents

Hi
We have a requirement to update a property or value within a document such as expiry date and for this update to automatically copied to multiple documents on different sites and libraries.
We need to edit a 'master copy' and have this change copied to all other documents based on the 'master copy'. We would appreciate any suggestions. We are thinking of using workflow rules and the update list item action but are unsure if there is better
options.
Would we possibly be able to use the document information panel and have the update copied to other documents based on a template?

Just to let you know, I am considering using a Slist and a custom document information panel.
The data will be changed in the list and then using a data connection within the document information panel, be copied to the quick parts within the word document.
The word document will reside on a different site and library and when opened will receive data from the list (master copy), the data will then be copied to the quick parts within the document.
Does anyone foresee any issues with this approach?
I would like to refresh the document automatically without reopening the document. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Is there any way to find text highlighted in adobe reader and automatically copy it to comment boxes?

If I use a pdf highlighted in Adobe Reader (metro) in another PDF reading program, one with functionality to retrieve and list various annotations on the PDF, it simply finds "sticky note" as Adobe Reader highlights the text but fails to copy and paste it into a 'highlight' comment box. I intend to use another program with this feature automatic, from this point forward, but is there any way I can retroactively and automatically do this same task to all the other work I've done with Adobe Reader? It is, as I understand, a standard function of PDF annotation.
Of course, ideally, I would also like this to be automatic in the future, as the Adobe Reader Metro App is generally well-designed, touch-interface wise. But this lacking feature makes finding my comments a much greater hassle than it should be (as I can see where I highlighted, but not what without traveling directly to the page)
Also on a side note, I apparently can't delete a sticky note from within the app, what the hell

You cannot enforce something like that. You have some options when the field is set up to allow rich text formatting, but the user can always change it.

Text ID to be copied automatically in other Ssles Document.

I want to know that a Text ID - 0001 is created and included in the Text Procedure which is assigned to Sales Order Type, the same Text ID - 0001 is also included in the Text Procedure which is assigned to for a billing Type - F2.
Now the requirement is to get the text entered in the sales Order for Text ID - 0001 to be updated automatically with the same text when we create an Invoice from the reference Sales Order having the same Text ID in it. This is done so that the text entered in the sales Order should also be present in the Biiling Document.
Please let me know the way to do this in SAP, and the config settings involved in it.

Do these settings to copy the sales order text to the invoice.First you need to copy the sales order text to the delivery document from the delivery document you can copy the text to the billing document.
To copy the sales order text to the delivery document
You do the text determination for the deliveries also,define and maintain same TextId in teh delivery header text procedure ,maintain the access sequence ,in the delivery text procedure access sequence you put the Text Object as VBBK for that Text ID.
To copy the delivery text to the invoice.
You mentioned that you already done the text determination for the billing document so just do this single setting.
Go to VOFA transaction then selct billing document type then go in to the details screen here you do the check in the Delivery Text check Box (Top most bottom of the screen.)
Now you can able to copy the sales order text to the invoice.

Automatically copy text from "master" pdf to other pdf-files

Hi,
I have several different PDF files with formfields. Some information in those files are the same. For example the customer name etc.
In stead of writing the customer name, the date, telephone number etc. in each each single file for each single project, I would like to make a "Master" page from where the information is automatically copied to the other single files.
In Excel it is possible to link cell information from one file to another. Is it possible to do so in pdf-files too?
I am using Acrobat 9 Pro and Lifecycle ES 8.2

Text symbol for automatic insertion of file and page data

In Visio I have a footer on my wireframe pages that includes text symbols referencing data about the file (document name, last edited) and also the number of the page. These symbols automatically update as the data changes. I can do something similar in InDesign and Word.
I cannot seem to find a way to do this in Fireworks. Perhaps I just don't know what the feature is called?

Apologies, but you weren't particularly clear on the problems you were having in your prior post, so I was just making sure you actually found the shapes.
You didn't ask about customizing the shapes either. If you had, we might have been able to save you the time. Auto shapes have very specific editable on-canvas features. The rest is controlled under the hood by JavaScript. It's quite likely that - had you opened the JS file - you could have made some of those edits. That's the cool thing about these shapes. You CAN change things.
I don't pretend to be a JS guru, but when I opened the JSF file, I was able to find the variables for changing font color, size, fill color and whether the text automatically expands to fill the box, in few minutes.
On the canvas, I can use the Subselection tool to change the width of the box and its fill, as well as the size of the text block. I can use the customize command for the shape itself to place each piece of information on a separate line.Will you get a warning message when you resize the rectangle? Yes, because you are altering the base parameters of an object controlled by JS. Does it have a negative impact on the shape? No.
As for autonumbering of Pages, I isaid that this is an automatic feature in FW. You have no control over it in the current version and as I said, I do not beleive the numbering is carried over to a PDF. Beside each page name you will see a 2 digit number - that is what I was referring to.
If you do not manually name your pages, FW will also name them onthe sequence in which they were created, Page 1, Page 2 etc. FW will NOT change that name if you change the order of the pages; it sill only update the sequence number.
As you said yourself, you are new to Fireworks. Don't throw in the towel because of one negative experience, which could have been resolved with more knowledge of the software, or additional questions in the forum. And remember that Fireworks is not just a wireframing tool; it is also a design tool.

In CS5.5, copying text makes app try to launch old document

I am an old hack at IDD, but a newbie at CS5.5 so this is a bit wierd. I was in a document I created in October, and tried to copy a paragraph of text. When I hit "copy" Indesign CS5.5 tried to open a old doc from February, 2011. The dialog box showint it trying toopen appears and vanishes over and over, the old document never opens. I am 99.999% sure there is no way I linked the text from the old doc, but I could have copied from there and pasted in the newer doc. But I also used that exact same copy block in numerous docs...so it baffles me why trying to copy the text inside the text box from a doc mad ein October 2011 launches a doc made in Feb 2011. Hope that is clear enough.

I'm a member of the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite forum. I encountered similar behaviour several times while working on magazines with DPS. Whenever I click on an element I copied from another document, InDesign opens the parent document.

Its a matter of how you enter the formula (and not entirely intuitive). Do NOT manually add any quotes - Number does that for you. Just leave the text area blank for boolean value. If you actually type in the quotes, it reads them as a text value.

Does itunes automatically copy files to its folder?

If I download music from a website to my desktop, and then doubleclick the icon on my desktop, it starts playing in itunes. But it also looks like it saves a copy of the file in the itunes music folder. Can i just safely delete the files off my desktop now (and still play the music in future) because they have been automically copied into the itunes folder?
Also, is there a way to turn this feature off, so that I can still play the music by clicking on the icons on the desktop, but itunes doesn't automatically copy the files into its folder?

Hi Jeff,
iTunes does put a copy of the song in your Music Folder, and yes, you can delete the file off your Desktop as soon as it opens in iTunes, I'll take a minute now to see if you can turn off the automatic copying feature.

You can turn off the auto-copy setting by going to iTunes-Preferences-Advanced-uncheck the box next to "Copy files to iTunes Music Folder when adding to library"

My client want the vendor invoice line item text(BSIK-SGTXT) to be captured in the corresponding clearing document line item text field(BSAK-SGTXT).
(i.e) The vendor invoice and its payment clearing document should have the same text in the document line item text filed.
According to me i can use a substition rule and a user exit to assign the values. but here comes a problem* i have one clearing document against 3 to 4 vendor invoice documents* so my programming logic has got stucked here? like which vendor invoice line item text the clearing document should pick up?
is there any other enhancements possible or can some one help me with the programming logic to be applied here.

Why don't you discuss the issue with your client? As you said, if you pay 5 invoices in a single run, the payment document item text can't carry all of those texts unless you use the long text. What is the reason for the requirement? Perhaps there's another solution.

2 things: iPhoto isn't automatically copying all my imported photos into an iPhoto album folder AND ever since i upgraded my MacBook 120GB to Snow Leopard, iTunes won't recognize my iPhone.

So i have a 120GB MacBook that's about 4 years old (just updated to Snow Leopard--been working in Iraq, i'm a little behind).
Never had a problem with it.
I also have an iPhone 4 which i've had for about a year (up-to-date software as of about a month ago).
Never had a problem with it.
I've had iTunes for years of course (up-to-date).
Never had a problem.

I use a WD external hard drive to back my Mac up every week or so.
I recently realized that half of my pictures from iPhoto are not copied to the external.
They haven't been transfering over.
So i snooped through my folders and as it turns out, iPhoto hasn't been copying the pictures i import from my iPhone to iPhoto and saving them as .jpg files in the pictures folder (or iPhoto album or whatever) like i think it's supposed to.
My pictures folder has approx half of all my pictures in it, meaning at some point (probably 2 years ago) iPhoto stopped making the file copies of my imported pictures.
I do not know why.
No idea how to fix it.
If i were able to fix that (with your help), would all the pictures that haven't been copied automatically copy to my pictures folder once i had the issue resolved or would there be a lot of dragging and dropping?
I've been clumsily and sloppily copying all my pictures to a new folder on my desktop and manually transferring that folder to a thumb drive (which i keep in my pocket) and my external (just so i have them in some form) in case my computer crashes or a mortar shell lands on my room and blows my computer up.
Can anyone please help me with any of this?
I can't just stoll down to the Apple store to ask the Genius Bar (I'm in Baghdad) and i don't have Apple Care so no one will help me on the phone when i call Apple.

Whoever told you that was misinformed or lying. Those applications are sold separately for the iOS platform and the Mac platform.
Go to the Mac App Store to purchase Pages and Numbers for your Mac. They're $20 each. If you are running an older version of Mac OS X that can't use the Mac App Store, you can purchase install media from Apple.
