PO with New unit of conversion

Hi,
We have the situation is PO is not update the new unit of measure conversion. As the PO was created with reference to the contract. The contract donu2019t have the unit of conversion. I know the PO is picking from the contract. Iam not able to change the contract with new unit of conversion. Pl advice how the PO will pick the new unit of conversion.

Hi DavK. Unfortunately there can be a lot of 'well, that depends' in how you go about moving an application
to a new FieldPoint controller. The following is based on the assumption that you do not have the development
environment available; if you do, it is probably easier to just recompile targeting the new controller.
The exe is fairly easy:
1) ftp into the controller
2) cd to ni-rt\startup
3) rename startup.exe or startup.rtexe to 'something else'
4) delete 'something else'
5) ftp in the new startup.exe or startup.rtexe
6) ftp in any supporting files (i.e. for external calls)
7) in c:\ni-rt.ini set RTTarget.ApplicationPath=c:\ni-rt\startup\startup.exe (or .rtexe)
8) in c:\ni-rt.ini set RTTarget.LaunchAppAtBoot=True
The .iak setting is probably easiest to re-create with MAX, rather than copy in.
The depends part comes in with how the I/O channels were named or referenced in the .exe. As long
as everything was done in a generic (consistent between controllers) way you could be ok.
My guess is that if you have trouble it will be here.

Yes, you have to update the iPod in order to retore from backup. The iOS on the "new" has to be aequal to r greater than on the iPod from which the backup was made. The iOS downloads are unique to an iDevice and model (the one for a 3G iPod will not work for a 4G iPod).

HT4044 Part of my iPad(1st gen) screen display does not show,hence I can only see it partially.It was not dropped and neither is it broken. Any help as I was told it cant be fixed and i hv 2 replace with a new unit i.e. pay in full as warranty is over? HE

Part of my iPad screen display does not show. It was not dropped and neither is the screen broken. I was advised to see the local service provider for a diagnosis.
I had finally managed to find time to find a local service provider last week (not easy) and was disappointed to be advised of Apple's policy of one for one exchange i.e. they wont repair and said that i would have to replace with a whole unit. As my unit is no longer under warranty, it meant that I had to pay for the full price of a new unit!
I might as well have paid for the latest new unit but since my unit is only 2 years old at most, it would be a great waste of money.
How can this be? Does this mean apple's product is inferior and do not last since warranty is only for one year?
I sincerely hope there is a favourable solution otherwse my money is flushed down the drain.

I was using my iPad last night, shut the power off and when I turned it on this morning 2/3 of the screen is not working. It looks like the pandalela picture. What is the answer to fix this; is this a screen issue or and electronics issues. Has anybody else experienced this?

IDOC reprocessing with new conversion rules

Hi All,
we've created IDOCs and after the creation the conversion rules are changed. Now we want to reprocess the IDOC's and in the reprocessing we want to use the new conversion rules.
I've tried just reprocessing, I also tried WE19, but with these 2 the conversion rules seem to left untouched.
Has anyone a solution were I can reprocess making use of the new rules?

I've debugged the reprocessing of the idoc and it seems indeed I had to change the status, however not all statusses result in reprocessing of the rules. Status '29' Error in ALE Service works. So my problem is solved.

New Consolidation Group with existing unit

Hi,
Below is the hierarcy structure of Consolidation Units where Unit A is topmost Parent Company.
CG01
-Unit A
-Unit B
-Unit C
-CG02
    -Unit X
    -Unit Y
We want to add one new group which should contain only Unit A & Unit B during the financial year say07/2008 and it should like like as follows:
CG01
-Unit C
   -CG09
    -Unit A
    -Unit B
   -CG02
     -Unit X
     -Unit Y
Following steps, I have taken:
1-Created New group in 07/2008
2-Assigend Unit A and B in CG09 in period 07/2008 as 07/2008 their first period of consolidation
3-In CG01, changed the master data for Unit A and Unit B to indicate last period of consolidation as 07/2008
I would need your help:
-Is this correct way of creating new group with the existing unit?
-Do I need to remove the Unit A & B from the old group CG01 and if yes then in which period?
-Any other suggestion in the context?

It works fine with the above suggestion. In period 07/2008 group change task post Divestiture entry in old group and acquisition entry in new group.
However, before arriving at the above solution, we tested with one unit by removing it from the old Group hierarchy in 07/2008. Now even after I put this back in the old hiearchy and make all the above changes (divestiture seeting in 07/2008 in old group and FC in 07/2008 in new group) the Group changes task in not posting any divestiture entries. At the same time, it is posting acquisition entry for this unit.
Can you please suggest some way out?

Can I use the old power supply with the new unit?

I have a second generation Apple TV. When I install the new unit next week can I use the old power supply with the new one and the new power supply with the old one? This would save some messing with cords behind the units.

I would definitely not try that..... The power supplies may be compatible - or may not be compatible. I think messing with cables is a small price to pay for not potentially frying a new device.

You don't actually swap the SIM card. For some reason, AT&T doesn't like you to do it that way.

edit payment information link...then update the following two fields:

ICCID:
You get this info from the iPad (1 or 2) select 'Settings' then 'General' then 'About'...
The IMEI and ICCID info is on that screen. No need to swap the SIM cards. This process outlined above transfers service instantly and does NOT change the plan type, billing, user info, or days remaining. Basically anytime an ATT customer wants to move a data plan the ATT iPad web page is all you need. No phone call!
It took me about 3 minutes and worked perfectly.

Stock display with Alternate unit of measure

is there any report in SAP, which displays the warehouse stock with Alternate Unit of measure. I did try in MB52. It was showing only in BUM. Please help ASAP.

Hello Ayesha,
We had the same requirement. So we copied MB52 to ZMB52 and added a new selection for the AUM. Additional coding was also done for the UoM conversion.

Thanks. I got the problem fixed. Spent time with the Apple folks and was kicked up to a senior advisor. It seems the problem was with my internet provider - Tmie Warner. Remember I could use the old ipad and the iphone to send mail. I checked all the specifics between the three units. It seems that TW is changing over from the RR.com to TWC.com. Since the new ipad air was just set up, it fell under the new TWC mail specifics.

Macbook Pro Video Screen Blank - Transfer Data to New Unit

My 2008 Macbook Pro went to sleep and woke up with a dead screen. Same thing with the Pismo 6 years ago; will not go through nor will I throw away my money again with multiple service providers like I did during that episode. Want to purchase a new Macbook Pro and transfer my data to the new unit. Current unit still starts up, chimes, etc. just no video. How would I go about transferring my data?

Wifi problems with new ipad

I'm trying to learn how to correct wifi problems with new iPad. It is the wifi only, 64GB model. I want to be able to use it at work, where we have a great wifi network. I can usually connect to our network with no problem, but after an hour or so my iPad loses the network. When I try to reconnect, I see that the network is showing full strength reception, but I get the error message from the iPad that I am "Unable to join" the network. My iPhone connects to the same network seamlessly, as do all of the other iPhones of my co-workers and the older generation iPads that some of our staff has.
At other locations, I typically have no problems (home, apple store, etc.) but I have had the same situation pop up at a coffee shop where I could see that there was a wifi network available, but I could not join it even though it was the shop's free wifi.
I have tried turning the iPad off, turning off wifi and turning it back on again, and forgetting the wifi network in question. I can't think of any other methods that are available to an end user to correct the problem.
I have already gone to the Apple store to swap out the unit, and the newer one is having the same symptoms.
Can anyone offer any advice here? This is quite frustrating.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Hi,
You can create UoM's by using transaction CUNI.
Check for the right dimension under which the new UoM falls under..e.g.Assign the SI unit (In each dimension, a unit is defined as the SI unit. This is the basis for the conversion from one unit to another.) to the dimension if required.
Create a ISO code.The ISO code is important for EDI. It is used to convert the internal SAP measurement units into standard measurement units.
Define UoM: Be aware to give the correct commercial as well as Technical unit,the commercial unit is used in SAP whereas technical unit you can use in EDI,IDoc.You can assign the ISO code while defining UoM's.Hope this helps!

I just replaced my hard drive due to failure in my Mac mini. I am trying to load the Snow Leppard OS from the DVD's that came with the unit. Is there a step-by-step procedure somewhere that would help me? This is my first problem with my first Mac. I thought getting to the hard drive and changing it would be the hard part but I made it through that with little trouble. My lack of software experience on the Mac is really slowing me down. I believe I'm not making the right choices in the Disk Utility program.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Prep the new drive:
Drive Preparation
1. Boot from your OS X Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
Upon completion quit DU and return to the installer. Install OS X. When the installation has completed you can proceed to restore your data from your backups. If you have an existing backup from Time Machine or another hard drive then upon completing the Setup Assistant you will have an option to restore from another Mac, a TM backup, or another drive. Use the appropriate option.

Is it possible to add a new unit in Photoshop?

Hi, I design website layout with the newest version of photoshop, retina support.
When I open a 960px width canvas, it looks like 480px width, if I want it looks like a "normal" size, I have to change it to 1920px width.
It's not a big problem, but when I begin coding, EVERY dimension need to divided by 2 - It's simple but not cool.
Photoshop has pixels, inches, cm, mm, points, picas, columns, if I can put a new unit "double pixel" into photoshop, it should be solved.
So, I wonder know are there any method for adding this unit in photoshop, plugin or hacking?

Why do my images appear smaller on my Retina enabled Mac after installing the 13.1/13.0.2 update?
Retina displays use a higher pixel density than a normal monitor. The individual display pixels are approximately one half the size of previous devices. While working in Photoshop before installing the 13.1/13.0.2 update, as with any other non-Retina optimized application, the number of pixels used is doubled to give a normal, non-miniaturized appearance. This can cause applications to be slightly blurred or pixilated. Thus, when viewing images in Photoshop, the zoom level is effectively double whatever is displayed. At 100% zoom, the image is displayed so that every one image pixel is shown with four display pixels, the same as viewing the image at 200%. With the 13.1/13.0.2 update, Photoshop now displays natively on Retina screens, meaning that image pixels now appear at the much smaller Retina size, thus reducing the amount of screen space they take up when viewed at 100%
