PO Workflow: PO needs to approved automatically when need-by-date changed

Hello All,
Please help me in suggesting ideas on below requirement.
Requirement: PO needs to be approved automatically when ever Need-By-Date/Promised-Date changed by buyer.
Currently it is going and checking for the buyer approval limit and keeping the PO in 'Requires_Re_approval' status.
Please suggest me on this.

Hi, Pavan,
Use dbms_scheduler to run a procedure at a given time (or at repeatedly, at given times).
A trigger is good for re-acting to certain actions in the database, someone INSERTing a row in a given table, for example. Nothing will necessarily be happening when you want your procedure to run, so a trigger is not good in this case.

System needs to approve automatically when the same user has different role

Hi Gurus,
My issue relates to approval in Shopping cart.
Say this is my Issue.
This is the Approval detemined by the system.
1 - X
2 - Y
3- Z
4- X
5- Y
X & Y are the Same user but with different role in the Approvals.
First time 'X' would get the cart to approve it manually but second time system should automatically approve it. Same should happen for 'Y' as well. So now both X & Y needs to approve the cart only once.
Please advice me how to approach this issue or If anyone experience the same kind of issue please let me know how to resolve.

Workflow n-step dynamic approval error when saving SC

Hi all,
I have a process schema with 2 levels of approvals. The first one is a dynamic one (created based on a tutorial that I found here in SCN) and the second one is a simple approval step, I have a third step that's the automatic approval if none of the previous steps are required.
When I go the SC creation page, I enter all the information and before saving it, I click on Display Agents, I could see that all the agents were obtained correctly.
For example 4 approvers obtained,
1-User1 (obtained from the first process level, dynamic one)
2-User2 (obtained from the first process level, dynamic one)
3-User3 (obtained from the first process level, dynamic one)
4-User4 (obtained from the second process level).
The problem comes after I save the order..I click on the Refresh button and go again to the "Display Agents" part and then I see that the first approver is not there, instead I see that it says "No agent was obtained with strategy Z...", so I have something like this:
1-"No agent was obtained with strategy Z..."
2-User2 (obtained from the first process level, dynamic one)
3-User3 (obtained from the first process level, dynamic one)
4-User4 (obtained from the second process level).
If I check the WF, it ends in error as it says it could not find the approver.
The same thing happens if the first process level (dynamic) returns 2 agents....the first one is removed after I save the SC.
And If that first process level returns anly one agent, it's also removed when I save the SC.
Could you please suggest where could I start looking into it?
I debugged a lot and found out that when I click on SAVE and the on REFRESH and go to see again the approvers, the method
/SAPSRM/IF_EX_WF_RESP_RESOLVER~GET_APPROVERS_BY_AREA_GUID is not being executed for that first user, just for the rest.
Why could this be happening?

Is it possible, that the first approver = requester in the shopping cart?

Yes, you were supposed to receive a confirmation email after you place your order with a 10 digit order # so you can check the status. Then after your status has been process (which could take days or weeks) you should received an email that your phone has been shipped with a tracking #. VZ should send out a notification if there is a delay with the order. If you have not received any type of email then i suggest to call VZ and find out changes were made that you don't know about. Hi GB,
In order that the WF initiator gets workitems on PR rejection, you need to assign method 'InfoReleaseRejected' (BO BUS2009) to a task in the PR rejection flow of your WF. If this is done, then check if you have assigned WF Initiator as the Agent in that task.

You can select the Payment Term at PO Header Level.
When you book an invoice, that Payment Term will automatically defaulted to Invoice.
You can define Payment Term in AP.
Payment terms have one or more payment terms lines, each of which creates one scheduled payment. Each payment terms line and each corresponding scheduled payment has a due date or a discount date based on either a specific day of a month, such as the 15th of the month, or a number of days added to your terms date, such as 14 days after the terms date.

Since photo stream doesn't support videos, you would need to use an app to do this. Dropbox may be a good choice as I believe once enabled, all you have to do is open the app and it will automatically upload photos and videos taken since the last upload to your Dropbox account (see https://www.dropbox.com/help/289/en). If you aren't familiar with Dropbox, it's a very popular cloud service for hosting files and other media. That's completely normal. If other programs require memory then the system will reallocate Inactive RAM as needed. Page Outs don't mean anything.

The amount of available RAM for applications is the sum of Free RAM and Inactive RAM. This will change as applications are opened and closed or change from active to inactive status. The Swap figure represents an estimate of the total amount of swap space required for VM if used, but does not necessarily indicate the actual size of the existing swap file. If you are really in need of more RAM that would be indicated by how frequently the system uses VM. If you open the Terminal and run the top command at the prompt you will find information reported on Pageins () and Pageouts (). Pageouts () is the important figure. If the value in the parentheses is 0 (zero) then OS X is not making instantaneous use of VM which means you have adequate physical RAM for the system with the applications you have loaded. If the figure in parentheses is running positive and your hard drive is constantly being used (thrashing) then you need more physical RAM.
Adding RAM only makes it possible to run more programs concurrently. It doesn't speed up the computer nor make games run faster. What it can do is prevent the system from having to use disk-based VM when it runs out of RAM because you are trying to run too many applications concurrently or using applications that are extremely RAM dependent. It will improve the performance of applications that run mostly in RAM or when loading programs.

Trigger approval process when deadline had exceeded

Hi all,
In the workflow WS10400002 (One-step approval) , when the deadline had exceeded the approval should happen automatically.
While checking in the latest end tab, an alert mail can be triggered. but how do we make sure that the approval process happens automatically if the deadline is missed.

As such there is no system functionality to achieve what is required..
Please create a program to check for deadline and use a workflow approve FM to explicitly approve your cart.. And run this program as a batch job..

Posting date changes when I approved a Funds reservation

When I approved a Fund reservation in SAP business workplace, system creates a Accounting document with a different posting date.
I give you an example:
Funds reservation:
Document number: 1101000099
Document type: R0
Document date: 01.08.2011 (day.month.year)
Posting date: 04.08.2011 (day.month.year)
Accounting document
Document number: 1000000916
Fiscal year: 2011
Period: 08
Doc. Date: 01.08.2011 (day.month.year)
Posting date: 29.08.2011 <<<----
?¿?¿?¿? Why sy-datum ??
Maybe a SAP error ?? Do you know where SAP (abap code) determine posting date??
I need posting date of accounting document is equal to posting date of funds reservation.
Note: If I created a funds reservation with posting date 31.12.2011 and then I approve it, system creates accounting document with posting date correct! (31.12.2011)

Workflow for Cat2 Time approval

Hi All,
I am new to workflow, We need to trigger a workflow when employee fills time in Tcode CAT2. Standard workflow WS40001001 is working fine.
Here in workitem text it is displaying Approval for 00000000 instead it should display (Approval for Personal no and Name) which is assigned in standard task.
Example:
This how we wanted:
Approval for 00001234 SAPDEMO
This is was happening:
Approval for 00000000
Work item text : Approval for &TS_PERNR& &TS_ENAME& and standard task is TS20000460.
