POC aggregated ok in CNE5 on WBSe level 1, but not used in RA calculation

Hi all,
I have a WBS structure with let's say 2 levels of WBSe, one WBse at level 1, 2 at level 2.
I want to :
- calculate the POCs at WBSe level 2, then aggregate them at level 1, using weighted WBSe.
- run the RA calculation for all WBSe.
The first part is working ok with measurement methods in WBSe, weights in CJ20n on WBSe level 2 : transaction CNE1 to calculate POC, then transaction CNE5 : I get the correct POC on level 2, and the aggregated POC at level 1.
But when I run the result-analysis calculation (KKAJ) for the whole project : POC is displayed correctly on WBSe level 2, but the aggregated POC is not used in WBSe level 1, and therefore RA results are wrong at level 1 : I always get 0 in the POC for the WBSe level 1, or sometimes 100 if I play with the OKG3 parameters.
The only clue I have is that, in table COSR used to store the POC, on the SKF for Result-Analysis usage, I get 3 lines :
- one with value type P1, with 0 on all the line
- one with value type P2, with the correct aggregated POC value, Business transaction PEV1
one exactly the same as above, but with negative values and Business transaction PEV2.
Don't know if it is the reason for this aggregated POC nt to be used in RA calculation.

I just set up the DNS server on my server and thought I had it working until I tried the sub-domains. I could get to example.com but mail.example.com and www.example.com did not resolve properly even though I had specified them as aliases for the machine record.

If you enter "www.shenzhenguide.com IN CNAME ns1" there has to be a dot after the .com like : "www.shenzhenguide.com. IN CNAME ns1" but you usually drop it to "www IN CNAME ns1" instead.
(I don't think you can call the host in a domain for a subdomain).

Personas: how to direct UI to next-level Copy View (not to Basic View)?

Hi there,
I am having issues with UI jumping from "Home" screen to next-level view when doing IW22.
After running IW22, Home UI goes to "Init notif" screen (ie the second-level screen). I made a copy of the "Basic View" of this second-level screen with a few modifications. If I re-run IW22 from Home screen without restarting Personas, the UI goes from Home screen to the Copy View of second UI. Fine.
Now if I shoutdown Personas and start it again, after running IW22 from Home screen, UI goes to the "Basic View" of the second level always, but not to the modified Copy View that should be used.
Q1: Does anyone know how to direct the Home Screen to the copy view of the second UI, but not to the Basic View?
By the way:
Q2: In Personas main window it shows only the "top-level" profile names. Does anyone know how to directly select the "Second-level" profile from Personas main UI for editing?

Data Visible At Aggregated Level but not at Leaf Node Level in ASO

Hi,
I am facing an issue in Essbase Version 7. I have a BSO - ASO partition. I have 4 dimensions Customer, Accounts, Product and Time. When i try to view data across customer, time and accounts the data is visible at the leaf node level and the aggregated level. But when i include Customer in my analysis the data is visible at an aggregated level for the customer but not a the leaf node level. What could be the cause of this? I am not getting any errors during my data load in ASO as well as when i run the aggregation in ASO...
Any inputs on this issue are highly appreciated....

Without having complete information, I'll guess you are trying to look at the data in the BSO cube. I would look at the partition definition. One of two things is most likely happening
1. You only have the partition defined to look at the top level of customers
2. THe member names of lower levels of customers is not consistent betweent he two cubes and you don't map member names.
You can prove that is it a partition definition problem by doing the same retrieves from your ASO cube. If you get back data you know it is a partition definition problem. If you don't get back the proper data you have different problems. One that would not seem logical unless you had odd formulas on your ASO cube.

Level Based Measures not working

Hi,
I've put an LBM at the second Level (Region) of a Dimension called GeographicDIM.
the Dimension looks like:
Total, Region, Country
The LBM is called #Customer_ID_Region, created as new a Logical column of an existing logical Column of my Fact, aggregation.
If I create a Report with Region, Country, the LBM is correct. then I add another logical Column from the FACT, eg. Revenue_SUM, or Customer_key_Count, the LBM isn't frozen any longer.
This happens also if I switch place any LBM to an other Dimensions.
What could it be?

the Problem is still not fixed.
A LBM at the Grand Total Level works great. If I set a LBM to a Level below its not longer frozen if I add any Fact.

The Grand Total LBM shows the correct Data, the Region-LBM not.
The Region-LBM is not calculated in a separate statement.

Lync client gets user photos by first querying the Address Book Web Query (ABWQ) service on the server, which is exposed through the Distribution List Expansion web service. The client receives
the image file and then copies it to the user's cache to avoid downloading the image each time it needs to be displayed. The attribute values returned from the query are also stored in the cached Address Book Service entry for the user. The Address Book Service
deletes all cached images every 24 hours, which means that it can take up to 24 hours for new user images to be updated in the cache on the server.
To troubleshoot your problem, please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to
“X:\share\1-WebServices-1\ABfiles\000000000\000000000” folder. (ABS file share)
You should see some photo files in this folder as the following screenshot.
2. Delete all the files in this folder.
3. On test PC, delete local cache files.

4. Sign-in Lync with the test account.
5. Go back to the ABS file share, check if there is any Photo file in the folder.

Price chnage at sales order level but not in billing

I want to maintain the price manually in sales order but donot want to allow user to change the price in billing. I understand it is controlled at condition type level but not at document level.
Need your advise as to how we an achieve it.

Hi Neeraj,
You can achieve this by following below setting:
Go to into the condition for which you want to maintain price manually.
put C in manual entry field.
Set check mark for Header cond., Item cond & Delete only. Remove check mark for Amount/percent & value. Save it.
Go to pricing procedure and mark this condition for manual entry and mandatory.
Only thing in this is you need to put this condition in sales order manually & maintain price for this condition before pressing "Enter". Once you press "Enter" it will go in gray mode.

I am trying to Install Exchange on my Lab, getting below error
message.
The Schema Role is installed on Root Domain and trying to install
exchange on Child domain.
1 Root Domain - 1 Child domain. both are located on single site.

Hi Srinivasa,
I guess, you didn't completed the initial setup schemaprep and adprep before starting the installation. You can do it as follows:
1. Open command Prompt as administrator and browse to the root of installation cd and run Setup.exe /PrepareSchema /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms
After finishing this,
2. Setup.exe /PrepareAD /OrganizationName:"<organization name>" /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms
3. To prepare all domains within the forest run Setup.exe /PrepareAllDomains /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms. If you want to prepare a specific domain run Setup.exe /PrepareDomain:<FQDN of the domain you want to prepare> /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms
4. Once you complete all of the 3 steps, install the pre-requisities for Exchange 2013
5. Finally, run the setup program

The last community calls were only for level 6 and higher users, so it's possible that you don't get invited to any until you reach level 6

Tab in Top Level Navigation is not highlighted when clicked on

I create 1 iview(testiview), and attached to the role(testrole), assigned to 1 user, then login with that user. In top level navigation, i am able to see the role(testrole) in top level navigation, but after i clicked, the tab for this role is not highlighted, but the content of iview is displayed,
Any one knows what happened?

You have created one role and added one iView under it.
now can u tell which one you made as entry point.
if Role is the entry point are you getting the iView link in the DTN ?
If you made iView as entry point and then you r getting the content in content area and the iView link in the top.
i think the second one happens...
Check the role and iView properties .
Make the Role as entry point..

Dunning - 2nd level dunning is not working

I have received a requirement from client for configuration of two level dunning (ie 14 & 35 days). I did the following configuration
(a) Defined the Dunning Area
(b) Defined the Dunning procedure in the following manner:
Dunning Interval in days - 1
No. of Dunning Levels - 2
Total Due items for Dunning - 0
Minimum Days arreas - 14
Line Item grace period - 14
Selected -> Standard transaction dunning
Under Dunning Level Tab
Days in Arrears - 14 & 35
We are not using interest & no penality charges.
Assigned the Dunning Test with the following combination
Letter 1 u2013
W_MHND-BUKRS = Company Name
W_MHND-MAHNN = 1
W_MHND_SMABER = Dunning Area
W_MHNK-MAHNA = u2018Dunning Procedureu2019
Letter 2 u2013
W_MHND-BUKRS = Company Name

(c) Maintained the Dunning Area in customer master data -> Company code data -> Correspondance
(d) I have posted the sales invoice with posting date and due date as 01.03.2011.
While carrying the dunning activtity through T.Code F150 (I did the 1st level run with dunning date as 22.03.2011 ) -> All the activities are going smothly like Dunning selection completed, Dunning Print out completed and Sample Printout is completed for the 1st level
The second level dunning is carried on 26.04.2011 as dunning date. However, after completion of selection perameters. the system is showing as Dunning Selection is completed bu the system log says as follows:

CDs work but not DVDs "device failed to calibrate laser power level for med

I've been having a problem with my disc drive.
I can burn CDs but not DVDs. Have OS 10.5.6.
While trying to burn an error message comes up saying
"This disc can't be burned because the device failed to calibrate the laser power level for this media?
I tried to go into Apps - Utilities - Disk utilities and repair, but this message still shows up and refuses to burn anything even in Toast.
Please help. Any advice would be valuable. Thanks.

Not necessarily. Different lasers, different power levels, etc.
It's really a dual drive: CD and DVD. Almost two separate devices with a common motor and platen,etc.
You can get a cleaning CD from RadioShack and elsewhere. Get the dry one with the small brushes. Works fine on everything but a notebook.

The onhand quantity at sub inventory level it is not showing correctly

For an item the org level quantityt is showing correctly but at sub inventory level it is not showing correctly.

3) Shipping Transaction not completed,Received 4 into Stores – Staging avail increased by 6 and even STORES also increased by 4 . Here we do not understand why STAGING increased to 6.

Hi Patel,
You can create a confirmations using CO11N for sub-operations, but you can only confirm hours, not yield quantity. The yield quantity requried to be confirmed in the operation. You can partially or fully confirm sub-operations.
Enter the order number, sub -operation number all the related data will be displayed execpt greyed quantity fields.
Can you see the "sub-operation" entry field below "oper./activity" in CO11N ?
