Pocket Mac Won't Sync, and Cannot Find Driver Update Download
Hello I am having the error 1 skipping message problem, in which my BB Curve 8330 does not sync with my mac powerbook g4. I downloaded that latest version of pocketmac (which the BB website no longer offers for download) but I cannot find the driver update. Does anyone know where that driver update is?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I uninstalled the Thinkpad Configuration Utility and when I try to reinstall the installation fails. It no longer seems to be a download option on the Lenovo support site. Has this utility been withdrawn and if so what replaces it? This link

with the latest BIOS update talks about using the utility to determine which version is installed which would seem an odd thing to do if the utility is no longer supported!

I want to downgrade to mavericks and cannot find os x download anywhere
I want to downgrade from Yosemite to Mavericks I did not do a time machine backup before I upgraded to Yosemite.
My mac book is so new I have no problem doing a clean install there are no personal files than can't be easily replaced.
I cannot find a copy of OS X Mavericks anywhere. Where can I get MavericksIt's no longer available. You need to do the following:
Install OS X Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
This should restore the version of OS X originally pre-installed on the computer. -
300+ tunes on pc windows 7 won't sync and cannot burn dvd
I tunes says tunes cannot be found but is listed in 3 playlists. Somehow the tunes exist somewhere, on my ipod 4th gen. The files won't transfer except only about 4 tunes saying there are over 300 "mistakes" being the files cannot be found. What's going on? Please?

I have multiple i Macs and MacBooks using Lion OX. I.T. tells me that the Cannon DR-4010C is not compatible with Mac's, I find that hard to believe it can't be done.
Help!Your IT department is correct. Canon never released scanner drivers for Mac OS X for this model. And before someone chips in and says to use Vuescan or SANE, these will not work either.
So, if you must use the Mac's, then your only option would be to install Windows XP, Vista or 7 in a VM or Bootcamp on the Mac. -

If you purchased Lion for your iMac, just log into the Mac App Store from your MacBook using the Apple ID under which you purchased Lion and go to the Purchases page. You will be able to download and install Lion there.

The only place you get get Lion is from the Mac App Store. If you found some other site, that was an illegal copy and almost certainly tied to someone else's Apple ID and hence unusable by you. If the link was just to the Mac App Store, see above.
As to the problem with synchronization to iCloud, that's not a 10.6 question, so I'd suggest you take up that specific issue in either the Lion or iCloud forums, providing full details, and someone there can probably help you sort things out.

Downloaded a trial version of the "Living Earth Desktop" screensaver and cannot get rid of it. I deleted the download and cannot find it anywhere else on my mac. I will change the desktop image and the living earth image will pop back up minutes later. Does anyone know how I can make this image stop taking over my desktop? Thanks!

If you don't know the exact file name, you may have to redownload it so you can see it.
I would also try doing a reboot after you change your desktop background to what you want. -

AlexCarey, I've been having issues purchasing recently and place a number of calls to the support team. On Oct. 5th, and on my own decision, I went into my itunes profile and re-entered my credit card expiration date and security code. (Notice, it is not displayed for safety measures.) Today, I received an email from Apple support verifying if I made changes made to my account. For the heck of it, I logged back into itunes; click "Buy". It's working again after three days of failure. However, diagnosis still displays "Secure link to itunes store failed". Very confusing state of affairs, lately. See my post on "Itunes dilemma"

It's a pre-installed app and therefore cannot be deleted so you may have inadvertently moved it onto a screen or into a folder, check the utilities folder as this is a common one for it to disappear into. Check all screens and folders and do a search in Spotlight, it will tell you if the app it still on your iPhone but unfortunately not where it is. If you find it on one or your screens or in a folder, press the icon until it wiggles and then drag it back to where you want it. Alternatively you can reset your home screen in Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. -

If they are not on the iPod or on the computer they are gone and you will have to repurchase them if you want to play them again. Movies are not one of the categories of iTunes purchases allowed for a free redownload.

I backed up my iphone and cannot find my "notes" on my mac
I backed up my iphone 4 in itunes. I selected (without meaning to) the option to delete the notes once they were backed up. Now I need these notes and cannot find them on my macbookpro. They are not in the mail/notes option. I was told they are hidden in a back up file. Can someone please advise how to access these notes?

i just upgraded my iphone 3gs to ios 6 not sure if it updated but now when i turn on my phone it says automatically that i need to connect it to itunes using the USB port but when i connect it it comes up as new hardware and cannot find a program/software for my device even though i have the latest itunes on my computer. i have tried reinstalling itunes but it still cannot find my phone and now i cannot use my phone as it is stuck on the sync to itunes screen
