Podacst with Live 365 and can I broadcast Live?
I'm running a weekly internet Radio show on CWON Radio. I'm wanting to start an podcast.
How do I link Live 365 which I use for my broadcast to itunes.
Because it is a weekly one hour show, can I go live on itunes.
i've heard it has to be 24/7 operation.

There is no such thing as live/streamed podcasting. Podcasts are recorded episodes in a sequence which can be accessed in iTunes or other readers and usually automatically downloaded when subscribed to. You could produce a series of recordings based on your broadcasts, but not go live.

Yes, so what's confusing... Did you not restore the backup of your data, contacts, pics, apps, music, etc. to the new hard drive after you replaced it or reformatted it or whatever you did? If so, then you can just sync your data back.

i want to set a variable with default value and can be changed by the user, so i new a variable with setting : customer exit, single value, optional, ready for input.
in my customer exit code, i set a default value, eg. 20070530
when the variable screen popup, it display the default value 20070530, i changed it to 20070529, but it doesn't work , it still display the data in 20070530, how can i solve this problem?

As mentioned by Anil, you need to restrict your customerr Exit code to I_STEP = 1.

When I first attempt to power on my MacBook Pro, the LED blinks but the MBP doesnt turn on. However when I try a second time the LED blinks but my Mac turns on. Is this a problem with the hardware and can it be fixed?
Also, I apparently have to replace my battery. Could the problem have any relevance to a dead battery?Have you held the power button down for 10+ seconds? That should turn it off.

ADFS single sign-on with office 365 and multiple forests
I have 2 forests with one of them (Forest A) only running Exchange / Office 365 in hybrid mode. The other forest (Forest B) has my AD accounts for everyday user login and work. Is there a way to set up ADFS between these 2 forests in order for Forest B
to achieve single sign-on to office 365? Today users have to login with separate office 365 accounts in order to access email and sharepoint. Short of migrating Forest A into Forest B and getting down to one forest / domain, is there anything else we can do

Webpage looks good with tranparent boxes and photo background in live view but not in browsers
If anyone has time to help I would be very grateful. I am new to dreamweaver and am trying to make a webpage with transparent colums and boxed text using styles. It looks perfect in "live view" but when I look at it in any browser all formatting is gone. It looks like the background with text on top layed out wrapped across the entire page. I have not been able to figure out what is wrong in days of searching. Does anyone know the answer?
This first the format I want and is what it looks like in Live View, the second is what it looks like in most browsers.

<h3>What does NBCS Do?</h3>
<p>Since 2004 The Narragansett Bay Coyote Study (NBCS) has been developing science-based coexistence and management strategies for our newest top predator. Coyotes, originally a prairie species, have successfully colonized all parts of the continental and nearshore us in the past 100 years. They reached the islands of Narragansett Bay in the mid-1990s. Since then coyotes have become increasingly abundant and problematic in some island communities.</p>
<p>In our history of cohabitation with coyotes people consistently tried to eliminate them by hunting, trapping, and poisoning. Lethal removal worked for individual problem animals but did not work as a population control strategy. Why? Coyotes have intrinsic physiological and behavioral abilities to control their own numbers. If coyotes are removed they increase reproduction and numbers rapidly rebound. The critical population regulation trigger is competition for food. As long as coyotes are well fed (with few coyotes competing for food) their populations will grow. </p>
<p>It is also known that opposite effect occurs if coyotes if coyotes are stressed by competition for food. If there are too many coyotes competing for the food available coyotes will drop the the level sustainable by those resources.</p>
<p>Understanding this relationship, NBCS scientists decided to study the resource use of coyotes on two islands in Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island. We used GPS tracking collars to find out where the coyotes were spending thier time. We theorized that if we could identify important coyote food resources - and control them - the coyotes would bring their own numbers down. NBCS calls this "passive coyote management."</p>
<p> Since 2005 when we trapped and collared our first island coyotes we have continually found that the most important food resources to our study are provided by people. That means they are within our control That means we can control coyotes. If we remove anthropogenic resources (human subsidies) coyote numbers will drop to the level sustainable by natural resources. When coyotes are sustained only by natural prey (mice, woodchucks, rabbits, geese, and deer) coyotes numbers will be lower and they will provide helpful pest control services. </p>
<p>Based our scientific data NBCS generated a set of <a href="coyotes/Best Management Practices for Coexistence with Coyotes - Nov 8 2010.pdf" target="_new">Best Management Practices for Coexistence with Coyotes</a>- basically a toolbox for safe, sustainable, community coyote management. We are working with the towns in our study area to adopt the CBMPs and be the first community in the nation to successfully and sustainably manage coyotes. We also believe other cities and towns might be able to use our results as a template if they are experiencing coyote problems. We have only just begun to implement the CBMPs on our islands. We hope in the near future to have all our towns implementing the CBMPs - only then will we see the full impacts they make on coyote numbers and behavioral problems. Those format commands seem to be the one it is ignoring. I am not familiar with html but I see that the href command is what identifies the path to the file I call TCAStyles. I notice that dw puts all my files in a local public file and the structure is different - with no public file - at the site.
I am not sure what the 2 dots in the href command mean - there is not a full path. Is this command valid? I will try to look into the directory structure on local and remote site and will check for files. -

Outlook 2013 with Office 365 and Google Apps Sync.
This is the scenario, hopefully somebody can give me some insight on how to resolve this.
Outlook 2013 with gapps. Both updated.
Outlook profile with an office 365 email account (which is as an exchange account) and google apps with our main account.
We installed an office 365 account since its the only way that several users can share and edit the same contacts on Outlook. They use almost all contact fields.
Gapps its the main email address and calendar. Shared calendars are deeply used too.
The problem is that when I edit a contact (the exchange account) I get an error -when- I edit the email field.
"The operation failed. The messaging interfaces returned an unknown error."
If I make a new Outlook profile with the exchange account and the gapps account via imap setup I get not errors BUT I loose calendars sync.
So I went back to the main profile and thought. <maybe both contacts engines are screwing Outlook.> So, since I don't care about gapps contacts anymore I disabled via:
Disable sync for individual products

And also disabled the dynamic Global Address (just in case).
But the same happens.
I tried with another box, with office 2010, updated it and made a new profile with the office 365 and gapps and the same history.
Finally I though about setting the office 365 account as imap but contacts are not downloaded.
So I'm between a rock and a hard place here.

ChristianYou should have no problem serving a stream to 1000 users on
a single server (a dual xeon/2bg ram box ought to do it).
Your bandwidth requirements will depend on the bitrate of the
video stream. Multiply the stream bitrate by the number of users
(plus 1 for the publisher), and you'll get your bandwidth figure.
For example, if the video is published at 300kbps, you'll use
about 290mbps for your 1000 users.
For the video size, I wouldn't go much larger than 640x480.
The flashplayer doesn't use the video card to render video, and
redrawing the screen with a large video chews through lots of
processor cycles very quickly. -
Video with stereo track and click track for live performance
Hello,
I have a video that was created in FCP sync'd with a stereo sound track and a click track. I need to play this video live (using projection) with the stereo track routed to the main outs and the click routed to the in-ear monitors for a performer to sync with. I have not done this before and am trying to wrap my brain around it. I'm also hoping to come up with the easiest and most reliable solution. As I understand it, this video will not be able to play back from a burned DVD, but rather will need to play back in Logic with 2 audio tracks (L/R) for the sound track and then 1 track for the click. These 3 tracks can then be routed to their required destinations from a soundcard or mixer.
Does this seem to be the best and most reliable method? I've only burned audio to video (never using a click) in FCP before and have always played back from a DVD. Now I have this live player/syncing component and am not sure of the best way to do it. I have some experience with Logic, but limited.
I really appreciate any suggestions/tips any one might have.
Thanks.I've opened the movie (with stereo track) in QT Pro and then added the click - and now the 2 audio files are there, sync'd up.
When you say you opened the movie in QT Pro, I assume you mean the QT Pro version of Quicktime Player 7. So let's say you have the movie open in Quicktime Player 7, and you press ⌘J (Window > Show Movie Properties). And in the window that appears, hopefully you see several items listed, including Sound Track 1 and Sound Track 2. These are your two audio files, that are now part of the movie file. One of those files is your stereo soundtrack, and the other is your click. So let's assume that this is a total of 3 channels of sound (because I understand your click is mono).
Select Sound Track 1, and select the tab Audio Settings. Let's assume this is the stereo soundtrack. In the scrolling area at the bottom right of the window, under the heading Assignment, you should see Left and Right. Let's leave it that way.
Now select Sound Track 2. Under Assignment, there should be just one item listed (that is, there is only one channel in this Sound Track, if the click is mono). Under Assignment, it probably says Mono. Change that to Center.
Save the movie. We're done with Quicktime Player for now. Launch Audio MIDI Setup. It's here:

I assume you have an audio interface connected that supports at least 3 channels. In AMS, find the window (or tab, depending on your OS version) for Audio Devices. Select your audio interface. Select the Output tab, and press the button Configure Speakers. In the window that appears, select Multichannel, and change the menu selection from Stereo to 5.1 Surround.
You will probably see that "left front," "right front," and "center" are assigned to outputs 1, 2 and 3, respectively, of your audio interface. If not, make it so, and press the button Apply.
Now when you play your movie, the stereo soundtrack will appear at outputs 1 and 2 of your audio interface, and the click will appear at output 3. Now you can cable your stereo mains to 1/2 and your in-ear monitors to 3. -

I tried to restore my iPhone 4s through iTunes and received error message that Restore could not be completed due to error 2003. Phone now not recognized in iTunes, with repeated prompts to restore phone. Now phone w/screen with iTunes symbol and USB cord can't use. It appears the phone has been restored, but I cannot activate it.
I disabled my anti-software, iTunes and computer software (microsoft vista) are both up to date, I restarted the computer several times. My usb ports are working properly. Running Firefox 22 on Mac with no Adblock and can't get most videos. Works fine in Chrome & Safari.
I am unable to run most videos in Firefox. Have v22 and have had this problem for a while with several versions on both my Mac and PC laptop. I've tried downgrading Flash, didn't work. I've checked, and I'm not running Adblock. I'm about ready to dump FF and use a different browser although I don't want to. Any help is appreciated.
Safe Mode isn't practical for permanent use, but you can try making some of the changes in regular mode.
(1) Disable hardware graphics acceleration in Firefox (this is disabled in Safe Mode)
Un-check the box here and restart:
Firefox menu > Preferences > Advanced > General > "Use hardware acceleration when available"
(2) Check for and disable any nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the following tabs (these would all have been disabled in Safe Mode):
Tools menu > Add-ons > Extensions category
(3) If you use any recorders/downloaders that interact with Flash media, and you do not want to disable them, make sure they are as up-to-date as possible
