Podcast button wont work in Itunes Store
Since upgrading to itunes 11.0.2 I have found that the podcast and apps buttons in the itunes store wont work. Says accessing store but nothing loads.
If I search for a known podcast on the store I can find it in store but itunes only displays max 20 episodes even though it tells me there may be 30 or more.
If I open itunes in another (admin) account all works ok.
Have done the following;
Tried giving user account admin rights - not cured problem.
Deleted all itunes related plist(s) and repaired permissions- have same problem
Uninstalled itunes 11.0.2 and all its parts and installed itunes 10.7 and this works fine except 10.7 wont talk to my ipad and wants me to restore it to factory.
Updated back to 11.0.2 and ipad ok but back to same issue on Itunes store.
Running itunes 11.0.2 on snow leopard 10.6.8, imac core 2 duo.
Any one know how to solve this.

In case it helps any one else having similar problems.
If I allow cookies in Safari then I can access podcasts and apps in itunes store no problem.
If I block and clear cookies then it stops working again.
Tried this several times just to make sure it wasnt just random chance.
Why cookie settings in safari should affect itunes I dont know but it definitely works now.

Back swipe and back button not working in iTunes store
I am running a 3 year old Mac mini with a Mac bluetooth mouse. I have OS 10.10.2 installed. With the latest version of iTunes 12.1.0.50 I stated having the following problem. I go into iTunes store and see the catalogue page for either movies or songs, I click on either a song or movie that I'm interested in and I get the detail page for that entry. I then either single finger back swipe on the mouse or use the back button and I return to the catalogue page, but it is blank. I have to click on the "iTunes store" button in order to get the catalogue page refreshed. I also don't seem to be able to back swipe in iPhoto to move from one picture to another, but I can swipe in Aperture. I should also note that I'm running Windows 8 under Parallels 10.1.3
How do I fix this?Fixed. Tried a lot different things but the ones that seems to have worked is going in Preferences>Advanced and hitting the Reset cache button. Though I'm not sure it is necessary it never hurts to do a restart.

THE BUY BUTTON WONT WORK IN ITUNES?
The buy button isn't working in iTunes. I can sample songs, but can't buy them. When I hit the 'buy' button nothing happens. It is not greyed out. It should just purchase the song, fine, but nothing occurs. My credit card info. has not changed and just a week ago it was working fine. Please help.
See if there's an iTunes upgrade available.
Also try quitting and restarting iTunes, to see if that clears the issue.
Failing that, try a system reboot. -
I have the iphone 5 and it hasnt been a year yet and my lock button wont work. If I take it to an apple store can I get it replaced since its still in the 1 year manufacture warranty?
Within the warranty period, unless the failure was caused by accidental damage it will be replaced for free.

I recently turned my iPhone in to a Genius bar and had it repaired under the iPhone 5 Sleep/Wake Button Replacement Program. Congruent to that repair, I had to do a factory reset (contetn and settings). Once I got it back, I restored from iCloud backup. When I re-opened the podcats app, it began to redownload all old episodes I had on the iPhone before.
Of these many podcasts, 5 episodes were from 2 defunct podcasts no longer on the iTunes store. It gets download errors on these episodes. I can get it to stop retrying (and failing). I have tried canceling the downloads. I have tried deleting the episodes (and the podcasts). I have tried deleting them then canceling the downloads. I have tried marking them as played and canceling the downloads. I cannot get them to be purged from the catalog and not try to redownload.
Outside of someone with access to the iCloud backend who can remove the associations, I don't know if anyone here can help me. But I am open to suggestions.

It sounds like you have some podcast subscriptions that are constantly trying to download but they are not in the iTunes Store anymore prompting an error message. You can use the edit button in the susbcriptions list to delete the subscribed podcasts in question, to prevent the error messages from happening:

Then I would backup to iCloud to update the most current iCloud backup to reflect this:

Turn on iCloud Backup if it's off.

okay so about 10 minutes ago i was sitting down and had my phone charging in my lap, i didn't do anything differently and then all of a sudden my screen flashed on then off then on and off and so on about 5 or 6 times rapidly, now my power button wont work at all, no matter what, i have taken out my battery and put it back in but thats all i can think of, any ideas?

- What do you mean it does not work? Could it be that the app ere not compatible with your model iPod and its iOS?

That suggests that the tracks are damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items. -

Try restoring the iPod to rule out a software problem. First restore from backup and then to factory defaults/new iPod.

for about about 2 weeks now my iphone 4s turn on/off button wont work. It seems stuck and i just cannot press on it I hadnt dropped it or damaged it in any way. To make matters worse I am currently living in Germany and am not due to return to Australia until October. Does anyone know if I can go into an apple store here in Germany and they will replace or fix the phone under warranty? I got this refurbished iphone last year from apple store in August after my previous one had just broken for no reason.
To make matters worse, my phone fell in the toilet this morning. I have since turned it off so as not to fry the battery. Iphone seems still to be working but now im worried that even if i can get it fixed in germany they won't because they might say its water damaged even though I had this problem with on/off button prior.
any help would be appreciated!!!

Ipod is recognised under my computer but wont work in itunes,
My ipod worked fine on my old computer i dont think i had the most recent itunes but everything was working fine i had windows XP. Now i have a new laptop with windows 7 and my ipod wont work in itunes, i have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes 9 and even tried itunes 8 but nothing seemed to help the situation, i know its not the cable as it shows under my computer, i have taken all my music off the ipod because it asked to reformat it i have tried that twice, i get the message your ipod needs to be reformatted for windows i click ok and it opens itunes but nothing happens, iv downloaded the 64 bit itunes as it doesnt like the 32 bit one. Iv ran a diagnostic test on my ipod but cant get past the firewire detect and usb detect maybe this is because i dont have itunes installed at the moment, any suggestions please?
I had the same problem with my iPod classic. I got a new laptop that has windows 7 and downloaded itunes 9. As soon as itunes 9 was downloaded my ipod would not be recognised anymore. I tried everything like reformatting etc and nothing was helping. What I did was downloaded itunes 7 and my ipod was then recognised. Your problem may be that your software on your ipod is not up to date enough to run on itunes 9 (that was the problem with mine) and may also not be up to date enough to run on itunes 8. Try itunes 7 (or if that doesn't work even itunes 6) then once your ipod is recognised go to the summary page on your ipod and update your software to the current version. Once i did this my ipod was recognised on itunes 9 when i plugged it in and worked perfectly. Hope this helps!

If you are updating from iOS 7+ to 7.0.4 then did you have Find My iPod enabled on it ? If you did then it might be asking for the password for your account when you set that 'on'.
