Podcast cover looks fine in app, won't update in store?

I have been lurking on this forum for a while, and I'm sorry to say I have yet another podcast cover issue to throw on the pile!
Background: I created a podcast last summer. At first, the cover image I submitted was a bit of a placeholder. A few months ago, I hired an illustrator and had a real cover and logo designed. I added the image (1400 x 1400 png) to photobucket, used the url to add it to iTunes via Feedburner Smartcast, and waited for it to update.
In my podcasting app on my phone, the cover updated almost right away! I noticed, though, that when I looked on the iTunes store (either in the app, in my web browser, or in iTunes for my desktop), the old hideous cover art remained. I figured I'd wait a while and see if it caught up.
This was months ago. I've tried changing the url, to try and wake up iTunes cacheing or something, but nothing seems to work. It's mystifying to me because I see the correct cover art in the podcasting app, but nowhere else.

I can't even find the url for the original image, the one that still appears in the iTunes store. Thanks Roger! The file was originally 1400 x 1400 but apparently photobucket shrinks down images over 1024 now,and you can't go any bigger if your account is new...guess I need to find an image host that will not shrink it down.
Edit: Okay, I uploaded the image file to blogger instead and it appears to be working correctly on the feed. Now it's just a matter of waiting for iTunes to catch it. I still don't understand how iTunes is displaying an old image that's nowhere in my feed info anymore, but I guess they just stick with the old image as a default if the new one doesn't meet their specs?

IPhone apps won't update, iTunes Store won't open
I can't figure out why my apps won't update on my iPhone. I have rebooted, deleted the apps that wouldn't update and froze (waiting) and rebooted after that. I may not have the greatest wifi connection ... I am out of town and dependent on hotel/convention center wifi. Went to App Store to reload the deleted apps (some), but same thing. I saw a response regarding iTunes, went there...took forever for iTunes to open, it kept stating I couldn't access iTunes Store, and after hitting "okay" probably 4 times to confirm that iTunes wouldn't open...it did. So I thought that was the problem and returned back to App Store and tried to reload just one app. Well it's been an hour and a half or more, can't reload it. It creeps along and I thought the app was loaded, but no. I can reboot only, not reset because I am no in home like I said. This is more than "fairly frustrating". What the heck can I do?
Do a hard reset by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button and home button together until apple logo appears.

Arrrrggghhh! My iPad is buggered. I have 36 updates waiting and none of them will update. I'm away for the holidays so can't connect to my computer. I've tried powering off normally and doing a hard reboot (power + home) - nothing. It shows the black bar across the bottom of the app but nothing is happening. I've done the software update to 5.0.1. And when I click on just one app to be updated is says that it can't be downloaded at this time.
Please help....I bought a new iPad in 2012. Everything was fine, but now two apps won't update. Message: "Unable to download application. Could not be downloaded at this time." I have 30GB free space. Affects Sketchpad Pro and Adobe Touch. The biggest problem is that I can't use the apps!!!!! I'm okay with using an older version but this update cycle has locked me out of using them at all. Yes, my iTunes is up-to-date and synched to the correct time zone.

My apps won't update on my iPad 1. I tried resetting the iPad and updating it on my iTunes. They say they are waiting and in the meantime I can't use those apps at all.
Do you have a song or podcast in iTunes that did not finish downloading? If you do - finish that one first. The apps will not update until that download is complete.
If that doesn't do it - sign out of your account - Settings>Store>Apple ID - sign out. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and sign in again and see if you can tap on one app and start the download. -
ISSUE: Apps won't update. Get pop-up stating, "Unable to Download Application., 'Evernote' or any app could not be downloaded at this time." How do I resolve this issue?
See if either of these two things help.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. -
Apps won't update after installing IOS 6.0.1. They get stuck. What's wrong?
You may of had a corrupted install. Connect to iTunes backup then restore. Or update the apps on itunes then sync to the iPhone

My apps won't update or install. I would push the update/install button, and it wouldn't do anything. How do I fix that?
I would do a restore using iTunes. This will re-install the latest iOS 6 with factory settings, then you'll have to re-enter your settings and re-install your apps. But everything should work after that.

Does iTunes Connect Christmas break mean apps won't update with new folios over Christmas?
I have 2 folios that are due to be released to my app this Christmas - both fall within the 22nd-29th window iTunes have chosen to close down.
So even though I can publish my folios through DPS over Christmas and pre-plan my app description in iTunes accordingly - before the 22nd - will those published folios not appear in my app?
Thanks.You mean updating a paid folio... don't know if that needs approving, too.

Correct. An app can only be updated under the Apple ID that was used to orginally acquire the app. If that is a problem you can delete the app and download again under the new userid. If you paid for the app you will have to pay again. Your old Apple ID does not go away so there is no reason to not use it to download the apps.
You cannot delete the apps that came with IOS. If you want to "hide" the apps simply put the apps into an application folder by dragging one app onto another. You can do this to all the IOS apps. -

If you're stuck within an app or you've noticed a problem, simply hold both the home button and sleep/wake button at the same time. It's important to keep your fingers on these buttons until step 3.
After a few seconds the red ‘slide to power off' screen will appear, simply ignore this. Ensure your fingers are still holding down the home and sleep/wake switch.
Shortly after you should see the Apple logo, it's now safe to let go of the iPad's buttons. Your iPad should now boot, beware this process can take up to 15 minutes or so. -
Since iOs 6 down loaded My Apps won't update.
Since iOs 6 down loaded My Apps won't update. I have had quite a few apps that needed to be updated when I tap the update button it says updating but nothing happens. The apps have been sitting dark with the word "Waiting" no lines moving across them like they are updating. It has been going on for about four days I don't know what to do I? Please help I can't us these apps and I have others that need updating but I am afraid to do it?
I just had this same problem. Others in this discussion area suggested powering off their iPad and then powering back up. This worked for me and now all of my apps are updated. Hope this might help.

Made a new iTunes address, and added new payment details, old apps won't update because my old signin pops up! Even tho in settings on on first page it's my new name? How can I remove the old signin name even if it takes all apps paid and free with it!! Don't care if I have to lose all previous apps just don't want to be hassled with updates!
You can't all apps are tied to the apple id that was used to purchase/download it.

Whenever I try to download a new app, I receive an error message that the app can't be downloaded at this time, try again later. Also, existing apps won't update. I have tried deleting apps to make more room, but so far nothing has helped.
Does it also ask you to contact itunes support?
