Podcast Download to iPhone 3gs

I do not seem to be able to download podcasts over WiFi to my iPhone. If I look into iTunes, the podcast is there when I go via my iMac. When I look at iTunes on the iPhone, the new podcast is not there. Consequently I can only get podcasts when connected to my Mac. Is there a setting that I need to change?
Any ideas?

Ok, the podcast shows up on iTunes visible on the iPhone some hours after it appears on iTunes visible on the PC or Mac.
So there are 2 versions of iTunes and the iPhone one takes longer to update.
Does not sound correct.

DOWNLOADING FROM iPHONE 3GS TO PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 8 (PC)

HI, Please Please Please can anybody help me? I am ABSOLUTELY desperate for an answer!!! I have an iPhone 3Gs and Photoshop Elements 8 and work on a PC running Windows Vista (32). I used to run all the same but with Photoshop Elements Version 5. Everything used to work PERFECTLY till suddenly just out of the blue one day, I plugged my iPhone into my computer and my photos did not automatically download into Photoshop and I cannot / did not have a clue why? I do NOT recall changing ANY settings anywhere on my phone or my computer? Anyway, I messed around for hours trying to fix it but to NO avail? So, I went to the Apple store and they could NOT figure out why, but told me that I needed to reinstall ITunes and MAYBE update Photoshop Elements 5 to 8, which I have done, but it STILL does not download ANY photos from my iPhone to my computer and I am now TOTALLY desperate as my iPhone is nearly FULL with photos and if I cant figure it out soon, I'm gonna have to delete all my photos from my phone! 1.     Can you please tell what error are you getting?     -
        Absolutely None! Its as though my phone is not plugged in at all! I only know that its plugged in because I see it in ITunes as "Donna's iPhone"                 other than that it is not recognized anywhere in/on my computer, so I am not even able to go into Photoshop Elements because when I manually try
        to download the photos through Elements, it does not recognize my iPhone as plugged in!
2.     Have you ever modified/corrected any image from the iPhone itself?
        No! All I've ever done is taken my photo's and then tried to download them directly from my iPhone onto my computer!
3.     Have you ever saved any image from en email attachment configured on the iPhone?
        No, there are only photos saved in a folder that was made as a default folder directly by "Apple" on the iPhone to store my photos on when I take
        the photo's and they then go directly into "that" folder that "Apple" created before I got the phone. And then they used to automatically download
        from"that" folder directly into my "pictures" folder onto my computer! Other than that I have not saved any other pictures onto my iPhone EXCEPT
        when Elements was working, and it did download my pictures from my phone, I chose about 250 pictures from my computer and sent those to my
        iPhone. My iPhone then created a seperate folder and put those pictures that I transferred from my computer into that folder. But Elements still
        worked fine after that and I had no problems for about a year after that? But no, I've never saved any received email pics at all!

App or podcast downloaded to iphone is deleted from iphone and transferred to iTunes 11. How can I keep the file from being deleted from the iPhone?

I recently updated iTunes from version 10.x to 11. In version 10, I could download a podcast or an app to my iPhone from the app store, then the app or podcast would co COPIED to iTunes during a sync. Now with version 11, when I sync, the app or podcast is deleted from my iPhone and MOVED to iTunes. How can I get back the old feature of making a copy? This is a very dumb thing that happens in iTunes and I can not believe that I am the only one to complain abou this. Please help me. What do I need to change in iTunes to keep my copy on the iPhone.

Not 100% sure of your question. If you are wanting to delete apps from itunes just right click then delete then empty recycle bin.

Podcasts downloaded from iPhone store won't sync with iPhone!

This question may have been answered before but I couldn't find it doing a search.
I'd never tried to download a video Podcast before but followed the instructions this morning and downloaded a Meathead Films ski movie and a London travelogue from the iPhone Store. In both cases when I tried to sync, I got a message saying these podcasts can't be played on my iPhone. Obviously I'm doing something wrong???

Or the people who encoded and posted the podcast did not do it properly.
I have had episodes of podcast not synch-even though the past 30 or so did just fine. When I went to the podcast providers website, there were several posts complaining about the same thing.
Also, not all podcasts on the iTunes store are iPhone/ipod compatible.

ITunes direct movie downloads in iPhone 3GS

I'm probably being really simple here, but I can't seem to download any movies or TV shows directly from the iTunes store on my iPhone. Music works fine, as well as podcasts, but if I go into a movie (seems to be any movie), I get a preview button in the top right hand corner, but I can't click it. So all I'm left with is a description page of a movie. I've tried signing in and out, restarting the phone as well.
What am I doing wrong?

Yeah I'm talking about the on phone Itunes store. And I was on my home wifi network at the time.
When I've tried to download larger files in the app store (think the limit is 10MB for over 3G/edge downloads), I've always been allowed to get as far as pressing the buy button, before I get a warning that the file is too big and I have to be on wifi to download.
With the TV shows and movies, I'm not even seeing a buy button.

Podcast Order in iPhone 3Gs and iTunes?

I'm not totally sure this is the place for it, but this appears to be a syncing problem. I've downloaded three podcasts which happen to be complete audio books, but are still classified as podcasts.
In itunes, they are in the correct order, but on my phone they are reversed. The last chapter is first and so on. I just tried another sync and that didn't fix it. How can I change the order of the episodes on my iphone?

I did some googling and found a procedure to turn the podcast into an audio book, but a simpler process was to put the podcast into a playlist and after doing that, it was automatically sorted correctly.

Having trouble syncing Apps download on iPhone 3Gs to computer, HELP?

I have had an iPhone 3G for almost a year now and have downloaded numerous Apps. Some that I have purchased and other that were free. I want to download the new iPhone update and restore my phone but don't want to lose the Apps I purchased. I switched apple accounts about 1/2 a year ago because it was linked to an email that I used in high school and created a professional one for college. Is their any way on identify the account used to download certain Apps and if the email address it may be linked to no longer exists is there anyway to download the App without being charged a second time? The main reason I would like to do this is my HDD crashed and after installing a new one my iPhone no longer recognizes it.

Otherwise there could be a thousand different things going on!
In the meantime try the reset if you haven't done that yet (maybe it helps, at least it's quick): press and hold the sleep/wake and home buttons and releasing them, when the Apple logo appears on the display.

Where do most people go to find videos to download to iPhone 3GS?

I would love to find some cool videos to put on my iphone, something other than what I have recorded with the video camera. But, so far, I can't find any place for the videos or else I haven't figured out how to actually do the procedure.
Can y'all help me out with where to find the downloadable videos and how to do it?

You can't download videos directly to your iPhone except via Youtube or iTunes. You can also download videos from iTunes on your computer and then sync them to your iPhone. In summary, any video except Youtube needs to go through iTunes, either on your iPhone or your computer.

All of your contacts and pics should be on your computer.
Are they not?
Why not? You should be syncing/importing them regularly, particlularly before any update.

The latest iOS avialable for the iPhone 3G is 6.1.3. 7.0.4 requires an iPhone 4 or later.

As provided else where Store is currently unavailable probably since it is the middle of the night on West Coast when Apple would do maintenance
it is nothing to do with iOS 8 or any other iPhone issues
The servers are not available regardless of the method used to access Mac Windows PC etc etc

Podcasts play with echo on iPhone 3gs

When I play podcasts from my iphone 3gs, they have an echo. The echo is ONLY with the podcasts - the music and videos play just fine. When I listen to the podcasts in Itunes on my MacBook, they are fine, no echo.
Any suggestions to remove the echo? Thank you.

I had the same problem. My speed was set at 0.5. Change it to 1X. This is directly below and on the far right of the scroll bar that shows how much of the podcast you have listened to. Somehow I must have touched it while it was in my pocket. I needed to press the button on the top right before I put it in my pocket to shut down the screen so that nothing could be changed.
The folks at the Apple Store told me the 0.5 setting is useful when the reader of an audiobook is reading too fast.

It was not legitimately unlocked by the carrier it was originally locked to. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it.
In order to allow it to be used on a different carrier, the phone was hacked or jailbroken. An unauthorized modification was made to the phone. That modification has damaged the phone. You can not get support for it here or from Apple.
