Podcast image missing after iTunes 5.0.1 upgrade

After upgrading to iTUnes 5.0.1 the image associated with my podcast is missing. I have verified that the image still exists and that I can view it via a browser. Anyone else experience this?

I have the same problem in the iTunes Music Store Podcast Directory. I just noticed today that one of the two podcasts I manage suddenly has a missing image -- the other is fine. The image is still sitting happily on my server. Upgraded to iTunes 6 just now and the problem still exists.
I looked at the top 100 podcasts and see several with missing images -- This Week in Tech, Engadget, Nature Podcast...
Crazy and annoying! Here's the xml file for my podcast with (so far) a working image:
http://kayray.org/audiobooks/podcast.xml
and here's the one with the suddenly broken image:
http://kayray.org/audiobooks/librivox/librivox_podcast.xml
Am I missing something?

Bought and Album and one song is missing after itunes froze  cant see how to dowload the missing song as it says Purchased
Pls Help  Best and Kind Regards

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then see if it shows under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunee. If it shows there but doesn't have the clpud symbol against it for redownloading then is that track listed in the Music part of your library i.e. where you would click on it to play it ? If it is then delete it from there and it should then get the cloud symbol against it in Purchased.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com . iTunes Support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours.
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • Why is my podcast image missing?

My podcast was approved April 4, 2013.  However, my podcast image doesn't display in the Preview or the iTunes store.  I added my 1400 x 1400 image using the PowerPress plugin.
    Here's the preview:
    https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-tithing-hoax-podcast/id632359048
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

'OC Coug on a Mac ' - your feed references the podcast image correctly. It's become apparent from the number of similar posts that there is an ongoing problem with the Podcast Images. They were always slow to appear, but in some cases it's been weeks with no results.
There isn't really anything you can do yourself - your feed is fine (and 600x600 is the recommended size, though smaller would do - it's not the cause of the problem). I would recommend you and anyone else with this issue to contact iTunes Support. You won't get an immediate resolution, but if a lot of people complain it may kick-start them into doing something about it.
Go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ - click on 'Other iTunes Store Features' in the list and then on 'Podcasts'. You will see a link to 'Express Lane', which will guide you eventually to some contact options.

  • IPod Songs Don't Show Up in iTunes After iTunes 6.0.2 "Upgrade"

After installing iLife '06, and the iTunes 6.0.2 "upgrade" that came with it, the contents of my 4th Gen. 40 Gb iPod don't show up in iTunes. The iPod mounts on the Desktop OK, and even shows up in the Source list in iTunes 6.0.2. And I can unmount the iPod by clicking on the little up arrow icon in iTunes. But iTunes reports only 919.2 Mb used and 36.33 Gb free in the iPod.
I tried copying a song from my iTunes Library to the iPod, and it showed up in iTunes. But when I unmounted, then remounted, the iPod, it no longer showed in iTunes. It was on the iPod, however.
I tried upgrading to the latest iPod software (iPod Updater 2006-01-10) but that didn't help.
I ran Software Update and it didn't find any software that needed updating.
I repaired disk permissions and Shutdown, then powered back up and restarted. Nada.
The iPod mounts fine on my G4 AlBook running iTunes 4.9, and the contents of the iPod are also visible in iTunes 4.9, so I'm pretty sure it's not a problem on the iPod.
Don't know if it matters, but all of the music on my Mac and on the iPod was ripped by iTunes from CDs (that I own).
    Anybody else seeing this?
    Is there a fix?

This might be a quick and dirty method.
We're trying to force iTunes to rebuild properly.
With iTunes not running. Make a copy of the library database file (iTunes Library).
Try deleting the iTunes Library file. Start iTunes. Does this then show the missing tracks? To get the original playlists back you can import from the original xml file that you saved.
If you need to get back to the start point just delete the newly created database and .xml files and go back to the originals.

  • After itunes and q/time upgrade I get an error #63440

after the itunes and q/time upgrade whenever I try to acsess anything via q/time i get an error #63440 quick time was not found even though it is on my machine and I have removed and re-installed.

OK, here's something else to try (with thanks to B Noir and Mark Stejskal for the suggestion):
It's possible that the problem is due to an error in permission in the Windows Registry. To check (and correct) that issue, you'll need to run the Registry Editor (Start -> Run -> regedit). Look for the HKEYLOCALMACHINE section and find SOFTWARE -> Apple Computer, Inc -> Quicktime. Click on the QuickTime folder to highlight it, select Permissions under the Edit menu (or right-click on the folder and select Permissions), and make sure that your user is listed and that you have full permission. If not, correct that and see if the problem is then fixed. You may also need to check the subfolders/keys.
If you're uncomfortable working the registry permissions, you may be able to achieve the same result by uninstalling QuickTime, going into the Registry, and deleting the entire QuickTime folder (again, in HKEYLOCALMACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Apple Computer, Inc. and then reinstalling QuickTime.
    Hope this helps.

  • Podcast file missing from itunes and ipod

I uploaded an mp3 file to my ipod and changed the media type from music to podcast. Now the file doesn't show up in any category of my ipod on itunes, and it doesn't show up anywhere on my ipod. However, if I do a search on the ipod for the name of the file, it shows up as a podcast and I can play the file, even though it doesn't show up in the podcast directory. If I can't find the location of the file, how can I delete it after I've listened to it? Syncing my podcasts made no difference.

  • Album cover image missing in Itunes

Itunes added most of the album covers I have in my music library but some are still missing I have gone to google.com and clicked on images then searched for album cover images, chose a cover and saved to my desktop, but the image will not paste. What am I doing incorrectly? I have recently upgraded to I'11

Thank you, I found the answer on "More like this..." The step I was missing was clicking on file, then get info...I was able to paste my image.

  • Playlists missing after itunes update

I have recently updated to version 8 and not only does my library seem to be missing but my playlists are gone too. I am currently adding my music folders into iTunes again so i hope that fixes the library issue but I am not so sure about my all my playlists.

Sorry if I should be starting a new thread, but I can't figure out how. I can't even contemplate updating to 8 without getting the playlist problrm solved.
For no apparent reason, some months after moving my library to an external drive, following one or another "For Dummies," after syncing, all the playlists disappeared from my ipod (though not from my computer).
I suspect that I need to move something else between C-drive and external K, but can't figure out hoe to do that. Since I have 125 GB on the ipod and a 60 GB C-drive (and a 320 K-drive) there's a lot I could mess up.
I REALLY need my (many many many) playlists back on the ipod!
Thanks so much for any help you can give.

  • Post Approval, podcast is missing on itunes

I received a notification that the podcast has been approved and posted in iTunes under the following URL. But when I follow the URL and it opens up iTunes an error message appears that says the show isn't available in the US.  I am able to manually add the show to my itunes and download episodes, but a search for the show results in "No results for "Podcast BHam & ATL show."" The podcast isn't vulgar and uses generic music not licensed to an artist.  Can you please help me resolve the issue for BHam & ATL podcast.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

A number of people have complained recently that it's taking a lot longer than it should for newly accepted podcasts to appear in the Store. If your feed is OK there isn't really anything you can do except wait. You could try emailing Support at podcasts 'at' apple.com but I'm afraid you will probably just get a form answer telling you how to submit a podcast (which you already know).

  • Images missing after merge in Adobe X Pro

Sometimes when combining documents in Adobe X Pro, images located in docx files are missing in the generated PDF.
Any ideas? Is there any known format issues or image types that dont like being merged? Is there a debug option to determine what happens during the merge process?

    Hey Sepro Systems,
Could you please let me know what version of MS Word are you using as it should be compatible with your Acrobat version.
Also, please select 'Check for Updates' option under the Help menu and check if you are using the latest patch of Acrobat X i.e. 10.1.13
    Hope to hear from you.
    Regards,

  • Preview image missing after export

    Using iPhoto 6.0.3.
I need to export the photos in my collection to JPEG for use on a PC.
I select a photo (or photos), then choose File > Export.
I use the File Export tab, then select the following options:
    Format = JPG
    Size = 320 x 240 (the original is 2560 x 1920)
    Name = Use title
    Use Extension = Checked
    I then press Export.
I export to a shared folder on my PC across my network.
I use the resulting JPEG in Macromedia RoboHelp X5 on my PC.
As soon as I select the JPEG in RoboHelp, I cannot see the preview header image. RoboHelp compiles help system files into Java-driven HTML. When viewing the resulting HTML files, the images properly appear.
What does iPhoto do that doesn't allow it to carry the preview header image with it?
On my PC, if I open the JPEG in ImageReady then Save As Optimized, the preview header suddenly reappears.

You can use the extract all images tool to recover the images. If there are many images on multiple pages, extract the desired page first and then do the extract all images to get the desired image.

  • Usbappl.sys missing after Itunes 8 upgrade

I have recently upgraded to Itunes 8.0.0.35. When I connect my Ipod 80gb classic, it can't find the driver usbappl.sys. Is there a fix for this?

I found a solution for this:
When I went into Device Manager in windows, I found a problem (indicated by a yellow exclamation point). I then opted to 'update driver'. Device manager couldn't find a driver, so there was an option to specify where to look for it. I ran file manager and did a search for usbappl.sys and but not find anything on C: drive. I did an internet search and found that a folder called DRVSTORE often gets created by applications that are updating drivers and such.
    So...in the folder
    WINDOWS/system32/DRVSTORE/usbaapl_97B931EF204A3188AFFD15A9A5337268E8B6F312 I found the file usbaapl.sys
I specified this file in Device Manager and it took it. It installed the driver, and now my 80gb Ipod Classic is now being recognized when I connect it.
Note: This folder was dated 9/10/2008, which is the date I installed the new
version of Itunes. This folder shows up in blue (which indicates a compressed folder). Perhaps that's why the initial search I did did not find anything. So far, everything is working as expected.

  • Files "Unavailable" after iTunes 8.2.1 upgrade

After installing routine upgrades to my MacBook last week all my iTunes songs give a message that the files cannot be located. When I go to "Get Info" & "Summary" each song says "Unavailable". What's up?

Use Disk Utilities and repair permissions first. See if that helps.
