Podcast seems fine, but no episodes show up
I'm new to podcasting and I can use some guidance on what I am doing wrong. I created the following podcast with feedburner and I tested in Itunes and it shows up, but none of the episodes are available to download. My feed is:

I tested my feed and it seems to work fine. I also tried to submit the feed to the Itunes Store and I received a message that it could not donwload the episodes.

This is not a podcast feed: none of your episodes has any playable media. You've constructed your feed in WordPress; the associated site at http://rcfoothills.org has episodes with an embedded player and a link to an mp3 file which forces a download.
I can't advise on what you need to do in WordPress to produce an iTunes-friendly feed, but at the moment the feed is not recognizing your mp3 files at all.
Incidentally your latest episode's download link does not work because the URL is wrong -
http://rcfoothills.org/download-file/2013/11/Romans-3-Roger-B..mp3
(two dots before mp3).
Don't try to submit it to iTunes until you can subscribe manually and the episodes show and download, you will only add problems for yourself.

I have a pc running windows 7. I got an Airport Extreme 802.11n Wi-Fi and the printer is now plugged into the Airport. The Airport works fine but the printer shows as offline in control panel and in word. The printer is a HP LaserJet CP1525nw.

This would be the correct setting if the AirPort Extreme is connected to a simple modem (one ethernet port).

5 GHz name indicates that you have elected to use the option to assign a separate name to the 5 GHz network. This will allow you to "tell" compatible computers to connect to that network, rather than the slower 2.4 GHz network
Use Wide Channels is recommended for 5 GHz operation.
Interference Robustness often does more harm than good and should not be used unless you know you are in a area with a lot of wireless networks and you feel that your network is experiencing interference issues from a nearby network. -
Am I the only one getting bad quality youtube videos when running on LTE? When I'm on wifi they seem fine but I switch to lte it looks bad on the youtube app and on safari.
I've never had any problems with mine ever. The only freeze I've had was from a file I recorded on tivo, cut commericals out in movie maker and then re-encoded to the lowest possible bit rate that that zens nati've resolution supports. Try turning your sensitivity in the touch pad down. Sometimes if you have it up to high you may have a chance of doing that (although I have only had slow response, instead of a freeze by doing that).
You also have to compare to all of the other products out there: Ipod and Zune are a lot worse with pathetic little problems (annoyances). I didn't pay for tech support? -
My mac book fell of my desk yesterday. All seems well, but I noticed today that the dvd drive is not working properly, it seems to want to keep ejecting the disk even when the disk is out, and it won't accept dvd's any more. Any suggestions o fellow apple users?
Back up EVERYTHING, then take it in to have them assess for any latent damage. Wouldn't want a similar "delayed reaction" from the hard disk drive, would we?

DW insert flash, previews fine, but will not show on upload
I am trying to replace part of the header of a website with a
simple flash animation swf. When I hit the preview in browser, it
looks fine, but when the page is completely uploaded, there's a big
blank space where the movie should be (I can see the movie fine
online when I go right to the swf file itself, so it's definitely
uploaded correctly). What could be wrong?
Also, even if there is a fix, is there a way I could put a
stationary image file behind the swf so if there's a problem
loading the swf for others as well, they will at least be able to
see an image? I thought I might do it using 'background', but
adding that code makes the entire page scroll to the left, and I
don't know why (there is already a background image so the menu bar
can scroll with the page length).
I am a complete novice in CSS, so if there's a code I could
use could you please tell me what it is? Thank you very much for
any help!The page cannot be found.

I've tried to go into manage my account it only has my current e-mail address and I can't click forgot password for the old apple id because that e-mail is no longer active.
I hope that makes sense..Do a backup.
Try System Preferences/iCloud and sign out. Then sign in with your new Apple ID. -
Podcast downloads fine, but Subscribe is not working
My feed validates, is showing up in the iTunes store and I can download individual episodes without problem. Yet when I click the "Subscribe" button, it does not work. The name of the podcast shows up in the Podcasts section of my iTunes, but it does not download any episodes. And when new episodes are posted, those don't download either. Other people who I've talked to who have tried subscribing to my podcast are having the same problem. I've checked all my iTunes settings, and everything seems to be in good order, as I'm having no difficulty subscribing to other podcasts.

Thanks.You have introduced a fatal error into your feed: at the moment the Store will be showing a cached version but iTunes cannot read it and so subscribing does not work.
Several episodes have this:
<itunes:summary>Adam & Nate talk with Best Week Ever's Nick Turner....
The ampersand ('&') wrecks the feed because in XML it signifies the beginning of a code sequence which is never finished - this invalidates the rest of the feed including the closing tags, so that invalidates the opening tags and the entire feed becomes unreadable.
You need to search for every instance of this and replace it either with the word 'and' or with this code:
&
I would suggest using the 'and' as being more gramatically correct and less fuss unless you are particularly keen on the ampersand. -
Iphone 4 is connecting to my computer fine, but won't show up as a device in iTunes?
Hey everyone~
So I just recently got a new iPhone 4 which I was totally stoked about; until I tried to connect it to iTunes.
I have a Windows 8 laptop, and whenever I plug the phone into the USB that's connected to the laptop, it shows as a connected device. It seems to work fine.
But iTunes doesn't even recognize that a device is connected. By this I mean that my phone won't appear in the devices tab next to the iTunes store tab in library.
I'm extremely frustrated after searching through article after article and seeing that nothing is helping. I've uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes countless times, restarted both my laptop and device numerous times, and even tried to see if a firewall was preventing me from connecting but that wasn't the issue.
I've used my older iPhone 3gs PERFECTLY on this laptop before and had no problems, but I just really want music on this phone!

So I finally found out that by completely wiping out any apple software on my laptop, I tried downloading iTunes from FireFox instead of Chrome and it finally worked.

My podcast is up, but my episode is missing
My podcast has been submitted to iTunes, episode 1 was up and now it's gone. I've double checked my feed validation (feed is through libsyn) but there's nothing showing any longer. I tried to publish episode 2, but to no avail. Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks a ton in advance.

You never published the 2nd episode to your RSS feed - it is just showing Ep 1.
In your libsyn UI - under "Publish" then "FTP Dropbox / queue"
You will see your 2nd episode - Episode_02_-_Pin771ata_Protest.mp3
It has not been published.
You might not have actually hit publish when you thought you did.
Go back into your libsyn UI - select publish - then new post - and try selecting that episode again - make sure to add a Title and Description.

All settings seem fine but Officejet 8600 pro won't print over wifi

This is my second post concerning this problem. I thought I'd solved it but apparently not.
The printer shows that it is connected to the network (fixed ip address) and stays connected
I can access the printer's homepage and settings from my browser.
I've checked all router settings as per HPs wireless printing website (MAC filtering off/802.11g/2.4Ghz, channel 6) and they are good
I'm using WPA/WPA2 with AES encryption
All looks fine except when I go to print something I'm told "printer not connected" in the print dialogue. Occasionally if I run the Wireless printer setup wizard from the Printer's homepage it will print but then seems to lose the seetings after a while.
Have tried restarting all devices to no avail.
The only thing I can't explain is that when I look at my router's connected devices the printer (and its IP address) is not there, even though I can communicate with it through my computer and its showing as connected on the display.
Someone please help, this is driving me mad. It should be SO simple but it just isn't.

I recently installed a used but in good condition glossy display on my 15" macbook pro as mine the backlight was starting to have issues and there were some surface scratches on the screen. Anyway the screen works perfect except I don't get the grey boot screen when i start the machine up. You can tell the screen is on as you can see the backlight come on. But the screen doesn't actually show anything until it starts to go into OS X. not sure what the problem could be. I relize this is not a big issue but I am stumped on why it is doing this. Also maybe I am just crazy b/c I have dealt with the other screen for such a long time now but it doesn't seem like I am getting exactly the right colors and brighness on the new screen. I have calibrated it and all and like i said it might just be me. More concerned with the whole no boot screen issue. Anyone experience this before, and if so any solutions for me. Thanks.
It's hard to diagnose but you do have a problem. Take it to an Apple store or AASP and have them diagnose your damage. And, no AppleCare does not cover user accidents. Check with your homeowners insurance.

Sound is fine but video not showing up - what gives?
I have the most recent version of iTunes + Quicktime, and thus far, I've had no trouble with iTunes or music purchases from the iTunes store.
Recently, I purchased Season 1 of the TV show "The Tudors" from the iTunes store. When I play an episode, the sound is crystal clear, but the video doesn't show up -- it shows a black screen that flashes from purple to green to black.
What's going on? How can I get the video to show?

I have the latest downloads for iTunes and Quicktime. I tried everything in the article you linked to. Nothing works. I can play the shows on my ipod, but not in itunes. I reported the problem via the support link in the iTunes store, but no response. I'm not happy. -
Airport seems fine, but is not REALLY connecting to internet
Hi, I am using a Belkin 54G to connect my iBook G3 to internet. I am sharing the router with others in my house. However, things stopped working for me 2 days ago while it is fine for others.
I have restarted the machine, turning on and off the airport to see if anything would work. no luck. it shows that it detects the belkin and I do have a strong signal. however, nothing works when i try to use safari, mail, ichat, software update... etc.
has there been a recent update on airport cards that i don't know about? or is there someway i can re-setup the airport on the computer to take me back to 3 days ago (when the airport was running normally...)

WiFi can get cranky without warning. You just have to adapt to the situation.
First, try resetting the router. There may be a button to do this; if not, unplug it for a minute. What many people don't realize is that the router is really a computer running server software, and all computers can get hung up and need to be rebooted. This may or may not solve your problem, but it's easy enough to do.
If your router is OK, then you need to check your MacOS X network preferences. Make sure that Airport has highest priority in your Network Port Configurations and that its box has been checked.
Please post back if these quick fixes don't work. Then you need to do some more technical stuff. Good luck. -

Hi. I have a podcast that has a working RSS feed that used to show up when you searched in iTunes but no longer does. It was accepted by Apple and showed up in the iTunes podcasts, but now it's not there. I can't figure out why it would disappear. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do to get it to show back up in iTunes? When I tried to re-submit it, I get a message that says "this podcast has already been submitted."
Also, if I know I've seen a particular movie on iTunes that's no longer available, what's the best way to contact Apple, Inc. to make the movie available so, I may purchase it? Thanks again to anyone who may be able to help.

I ordered Snow Leopard and received the disk from Apple. It loaded fine in my white Macbook 4 ,1 that has 4GB memory, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.1 GHZ processor and L2Cache 3mb. Decided to upgrade once more to Mountain Lion (skipped Lion) and purchased the download directly from Apple. This morning I downloaded and when it went to install a screen appeared stating my laptop wasn't compatible. From what I had researched before purchasing Mountain Lion it seemed this laptop was fine. Do I need to purchase LION before trying to install Mountain Lion? Otherwise what could be wrong? Any help appreciated. Thanks!
