Podcast storage limit?

Does anyone know how much Podcast content Apple will store at any given time?

Apple doesnt store any podcast content at all. they just point to the original source via iTunes.
Thats why you sometimes get time outs or errors if the source material server is down, etc.

When I try to send an email from my iCloud account on my IPAD I get the message that a copy has been saved to outbox as my storage limit has been reached. It works fine on the main computer but not on the ipad. How can I mend this?

I have just encountered exactly the same issue for the last 24 hrs - mail goes to outbox from iPad yet send OK from icloud account on my powerbook. Tried resetting the push email settings on the iPad but no chnage.

Is there a storage limit for the files sent? Do I have to delete the files or I can keep them indefinitely? Also, do link to the documents expire for the recipients so they can go back to the email if they forget to download?

  • HT4914 Does the music upload limit of 25 000 songs to iCloud is aside of the 6gig limit offered by iCloud for stocking/saving data or is it the same? Will I have to pay for an storage limit update for iCloud because I take iTunes Match?

And will I have to pay for an update storage limit for iCloud because I take iTunes Match?

No, your iCloud storage is seperate. I have 42GB of music in my itunes match account and I still have almost all of the 5GB of storage space free. You only have to pay for itunes match once and as long as you don't have more than 25,000 songs in your itunes, you are good to go.

"If you exceed your iCloud storage limit, photos and videos won't upload to iCloud, and your library will no longer stay up to date across your devices."  Really?  Can't we support the existing "last 1k photos will be available in the cloud" model?  If we don't do this, won't this kill auto-sync of new photos from iOS devices to our libraries on our Macs (if the Mac's Photos app has auto syncing with the cloud turned on) once we go over our 5gb limit?  I have 350GB of photos in my Mac Photos library - I am not going to pay $20/month for 1tb iCloud storage.  Please advise, Apple.  Thank you.

I agree and am baffled by this also.  At first I was really excite about this new feature.  Mostly because I would be able to seamlessly sync videos along with my PhotoStream.  I just assumed there would be some systematic way to handle large libraries.  Like removing older files as the current PhotoStream does.  However, it appears that this new feature will simply 'shut down' when you reach your storage limit.  This just makes no sense to me.  I would have to double check, but I have all my photos and videos in iPhoto and stored on a 3 TB external hard drive and I think the full library is over 1 TB.  So, even if I was willing to pay $20 a month for photo syncing (which I am not) I couldn't do it because my library is too large.  Again I am just baffled why Apple cannot blend this new service with the existing PhotoSteam model.  My favorite aspect of PhotoSteam is that is uploads all my iPad and iPhone Photos to my Mac for permanent storage and it seems this is lost in the new version.

  • DB2E Storage Limit

    Hi All,
I have a basic question about DB2E Storage Limit.
    I am implementing MAM 3.0 on desktop/laptops.
So how much data I can store in Db2e? Is there a limit? Does more that means performance issues?
Or does the data storage depends on the hard disk capacity of the laptop/desktop?
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Regards,
    Ankur Malhotra

    Hi Ankur,
The data size directly depends on the capacity of the storage medium.
The performance might get affected if the size of the database increases, but the performance bottleneck can be the type storage medium rather than the size of it.
e.g. Memory card storage would take more time than the in-built memory of the device.
    Regards,
    Ramanath.

  • Yoga 13 mSata storage limit?

    Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a storage limit for mSata drives in the Yoga 13?  There is a 128GB mSata drive in one of my bays but there is also an empty bay.  I'm sure the second bay will accomodate another 128GB drive but what about a 256GB?  Wondering if there is a capacity limit per slot, or overall.  Thanks.

    Hi
What is the storage limit for web db/index db/local store in Safari running on ipad? Is the storage limit 50MB in ipad or can it be increased?

The limit is not a ceiling - proper code will prompt the user to ok incremented increases.
An iPad is not unique in any case.

  • Match and iCloud storage limit

My iCloud account for the first time has sent me a message saying that my storage has reached it's limit; also advising that my iPhone can not be backed up any longer.  Is my service with iTunes Match affected by this status, meaning that Match also cannot take on any more files from my iTunes?

    Hi Jimzgoldfinch:
I have two simple questions about iTunesMatch:  Can you check on how much it currently being stored in Match or do you just have to wait until they notified you that it's at the limit.  Also, whenever I get new music I put in my own label for genre - I also sometimes change the date to be to the original vinyl release instead of the "incorrect" CD date, though I never change the actual name of the song file.  Does changing this information make Match think of the file as a distinct file that they do not have and thus must be uploaded into my memory space or can Match determine a match even though I've changed some of the info on the file?

  • Storage limit

my ipad is 16GB but when i try to record a video it says no storage left.  i checked in settings and it is showing total storage 5.gb and available 5gb so why is it not allowing me to record

    Dear,
If you would like to consider without MRP, you can restrict with Purchase order release strategy. While approving the management candidate can reject or approve the order quantity ... subject to available stock in system.
For defining material master for restricting the order creation, do consult with ABAP team for possible options.
I do believe that there is no option to enter quantity limit in material master (without MRP).
If you go to Warehouse management there you can define a storage bin and you can define bin storage capacity.

  • Is there a storage limit to a firewire hard drive I can use on G4 Cube?

I've updated my internal HD to the maximum allowed which is 120 gigs. I know I can get a larger HD internally if I buy a special program but didn't know that when I put the 120 gig in so I'm not going to put a larger internal HD in now.
Facts: My Interntal HD is getting fuller buy the month - it now has around 50 gigs of space free. My external Firewire HD is about a 38 gig HD that is almost full.
To my question: Is there a limit to the storage size of an external Fire-wire Hard Drive that I can buy?
Follow up question: How large do external Fire-wire hard drives come in [are sold] now?

    Hi, mjp29 -
So newer external FW Hard Drives obviously have an input FW port but also have an additional export FW connection to keep the FW line going say to infinity?
Not quite to infinity, but close enough for most folk. The limit is something like 31 or 32 devices chained together per port on the Mac.
There is a restriction on using power from the bus - only the first two devices per port should draw power from the Mac. All others should use their own external power - this is sometimes included with a device, sometimes offered as an extra; it all depends on the manufacturer.
It's usually best to provide all firewire devices (if possible) with their own power - this alleviates any added burden on the power supply in the Mac.
In particular, and this may apply to your setup - once a device uses external power, any devices daisy-chained to it must also use external power. If your older single-port drive does not have external power capability, it would need to be connected to a device which uses bus power, or attached to the other firewire port - your G4 Cube has two firewire ports.

  • Itunes Podcast Episode Limit?

I have published more than 50 podcast, but I can only see 30 in Itunes.
    Can anyboby help?

When posting a question please always include the URL of the feed: yours is
    http://oasisdegracia.mypodcast.com/rss.xml
iTunes relies entirely on the contents of the feed, and is displaying the same 30 episodes as are in the feed. Many programs or online services for making podcasts limit the number of episodes which are shown before older ones are removed from the feed as new ones are added; you are making your podcast at mypodcast.com and it's possible that there may be a setting to adjust this - you would have to look in their Help. iTunes imposes no limit on the number of episodes shown.

  • Shared Photostream Storage Limit on Devices

I'm worries with the addition of videos to Shared Photostreams that all my storage space on my iOS devices will be consumed by pictures and videos from shared Photostreams I subscribe to and manage. Does anyone know if there is a cache limit on each iOS device that limits the amount of storage space shared photos and videos take up? A lot of apps contain the absolute for users to establish a local storage/cache limit and I would hope Apple is controlling this on our devices as well.

If you have old photos in your photo stream on your mac, be sure to move them into a permanent album, otherwise if you some day turn off PS or have to reset the device and restore, the stream will be be set and you'll only find the latest 30 days' worth of photos in the stream album - older ones will have been deleted.  If those were moved into another album, then they will remain.

  • No mailbox storage limit warnings

Lots of questions and tips on this for Exchange 2007 and 2010, but I can't find anyone having these issues on Exchange 2013.
In short, I got hundreds of users, none of which are currently receiving the mailbox storage size limit warnings, not for their main limit or for their send limit. I dont use receive limits.
Doesn't matter if its an individual limit or if its a DB limit, no emails are sent notifying the user.
My warning message intervals is just the 2013 DB default of 15 min at midnight.
    I'm on Exchange 2013 SP1/15.00.0847.032.

    Hi Trana,
Agree with Sathish. About this issue, the most effective method is to move these problematic mailboxes to a new database. Thanks for your understanding.
