Podcasts not showing up on i-pod????pls help

Hi I'm in much need! I have just synced my i-pod and all the podcasts that used to show up in the video podcast list arnt there now and only way to see them on my i pod is to look at recently added, but this function only lasts for a while. The podcasts are on my i tunes list still on my comp but they're just not showing up on my i pod where they used to be. Is there a genius out there who may solve this mystery?? thanks Michelle

I fixed the problem on my own , hey I'm a genius!! I clicked on my i-pod tab on the left column in i tunes and where the options for podcast tab is just changed the sync option to all podcasts instead of last looked at. Now i have all my podcasts in the video podcast menu on my i pod.

I submitted my podcast to iTunes and it got put in the store. I am finally able to search for my podcast and get it to come up but whenever I try any kind of link i get a message saying "The item you have requested is not available in the US store"

1 22fps sounds odd, perhaps a typo
2 anything over 24 fps is not officially supported at that resolution
3 is your source movie PAL/NTSC/24fps (29.97/25/24 fps) ? It's best not to convert as it can introduce stuttering between different frame rates
4 Even if other parameters are ok, I'm not clear of the bitrate here which should be no more than 5000kbps for h264
5 There was something in the iMovie 08 forum a while back when everyone was annoyed at the dumbing down when videos were looking soft and it was something to do with a deinterlacing flag not being set correctly on exports so only 1 field in a frame was showing making video look soft
6 You are best setting all parameters for output manually as you are largely doing. Winston often recommends using 960x540 at whatever frame rate is needed for HD output as he feels there is little difference in quality
7 Try converting short 20-30 sec clips only until you hit on a formula that works
8 Don't give up - you'll get there, frustrating as it seems

It's not an Apple issue and Apple has nothing to do with it.
The only way to buy an iPhone officially refurbished by Apple is to buy it from an Apple store or via Apple's website.
Refurbished iPhones sold via other retailers are not refurbished by Apple.
Sounds like Wireless Wave did all they could... they refunded your money.
Your only issue is with them. Stop getting all worked up over it.

The send reset link will only show on your account if you already have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account. If you haven't checked whether you have the link then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account, then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side of the screen (similar to the screenshot in the second post on this thread) you might see an option below the questions to send reset info to a rescue email address.
If you don't get the link (you won't be able to add a rescue email address until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down this page to add a rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 . I just updated to the newest version of ITunes well, not just but a few days ago. Anyway I have windows 8, and in ITunes my Ipod 5th gen will not show up. I have tried somethings such as unpluging repluging, going to services and restarting, basiclly everything on yoyutube, none still work. It's ***** to cause I just wanted to put music on my Ipod, if anyone has an idea of what to do please give some suggestions.

I have signed out then back into the cloud. I have comfirmed location of the photostream folder. I have have even restored settings on my phone. any ideas on what I can do to get it working again? or do I have to accept defect, and manually save my photos?

I am seeing if I can get another battery even though I do not believe that is the issue. It keeps giving me vdd_under which I believe is under voltage, maybe it is just a faulty battery? It charges up like normal and functions normal (when plugged in, or above 90%) but it gives under voltage warnings and shuts down when in heavy use (using camera or going back and forth to imessage). When just sitting idle it doesn't seem to turn off until that 55-60% mark. It may just be a faulty battery because I feel I installed all of the other cables correctly when replacing the screen, and I don't think those connections should affect the battery anyway except for maybe the logic board cable (the 2nd cable to be unplugged after the battery cable) I guess I could clean that out as well with isopropyl just in case.
Any other suggestions would be helpful... and I will get back to you if a new battery helps. Thanks!

If the sender got a message that the Messagers were not delivered than they were never delivered and the only way for you to get them is for the sender to resent them

1 - Select the thumbnail of one of the problem photos and use the File ➙ Reveal in Finder ➙ Original menu option. This will take you to the folder containing the original file with that file selected by the Finder.
You can also use Find Any File to search for that file (get the file name from the Info pane in iPhoto). You will find the thumbnail version and maybe an edited version also. Made sure what is found is the large, original version and note were it's located. Search all of your drives with FAF just in case.
If you don't fine the full sized version then the only recourse is to use a file recovery application like SubrosaSoft FileSalvage on your drives to see if any of your full sized photos can be recovered. If you find enough files to make the purchase of the software worthwhile buy it and recover the files. However, since it may have been quite a while since you discovered the missing originals it seems unlikely you'll be able to recover any due to being overwritten.
2 - book projects are just entries in the library databases and can't be exported to another library.

Podcast not showing up in itunes search after 1 week

i submitted my podcast with one episode and it was accepted on 17 july. i am able to get to it in the itunes store by using the url as provided in the email.

i have put an icon with that url in my blog (meterdown.wordpress.com) and that works fine. people are taken to the podcast in the itunes store and can subscribe.
however when i search the store, my podcast is not turning up either by podcast name (meter down) or by author/artist name (kabi) or by keyword (taxi, bombay, hindi).
I can ping using the podcast ID (id=nnn) and it returns the podcast feed url (http://feeds.feedburner.com/meterdown) and the podcast ID.
it doesn't list an episode however. is it supposed to?
my main question is "why am i not showing up in the search?"
is there something wrong in my xml? I host at switchpod and run it thru feedburner and I use the feedburner feed.
i have read and read the forums here, feedburner, podcast alley and also am emailing switchpod support. still can't figure it out.

Thanks for the information. What you mention is boilerplate that is automatically sent when a new podcast is approved. I also quoted it like scripture before diving deeper into researching this issue.
The research into this problem suggests that there is a minimum number of podcasts in order to be included in the search index (or at least the search results) whether it's undocumented or unintentional.
Case in point, Meter Down posted his first complaint that his podcast hadn't shown up in the search even after a week (far outside the 24-48 hours you mention and that is documented)..that was a week ago. A total of at least two weeks that his podcast could not be found by searching by the exact title. His podcast showed up search within a day after adding his second episode (yesterday).
Jerry Pine posted July 17 that his podcast "Everything Algae" had been approved July 13 but couldn't be found by searching...even by name. July 28th, he added a second episode as a test...and his podcast became searchable.
There are several others who went for days or weeks without being listed in search results by even searching for their exact podcast title...common trait between all of them was that they only had one episode. They added a second episode and within the day they show up in search results.
There are others that had newly submitted podcasts whose podcasts showed up within the 24-48 hours timeframe...but they had at least two episodes.
I'm just providing the facts...could be coincidence that they just happened to be searchable just after posting a second episode.
I'd invite you to read through and share with the iTunes podcast developers the several thread from various people who have reported problems with having a searchable podcasts and draw your own conclusions.

Extended Podcasts not showing all images

I just noticed that the extended podcasts that I have, which include a number of images, only show the first image during the playing of the podcast. On the iPhone or iPod Touch, the same podcasts will sequence through the added images as necessary.
Has anyone else seen this? Is there a preference that needs to be changed? Some other fix?

I'm seeing the same thing with enhanced podcasts on my iPad. Initially I thought it might just be the enhanced podcasts I created some time ago, but I've since downloaded an enhanced podcast from early last week. Seeing the same problem in a more recent enhanced podcast.
Chapters are working fine, but the images are not changing. Both enhanced podcasts work fine on the most recent iTunes.
On perhaps a related note I am seeing other image issues in the iPod app on iPad (album art not showing up correctly, random album images showing up).

I wrote a nice, long - but negative- review of a podcast. It was calm, it was within size limits, it was within the TOS (no objectionable language- except the word '*itch' which I used as a quote from the podcast itself- which I just now realized as I was typing this...), and had plenty of positives, with suggestions for improving the weak points. It doesn't show up in the reviews of the podcast, but it shows up in my account as 'published'. My only option is to remove it - no chance to edit it. I really want to avoid having to re-type it, and wondered if anyone here can tell me what I should do.
Is it because I quoted that word without putting the * for the b? If so, why haven't I received anything saying that my review was inappropriate or anything that gives me a clue as to what may have happened. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Don't worry about the Feedvalidator error.
The Store is using the feed at http://talkradiomeltdown.com/podcast.xml - the Feedburner feed doesn't come into it.
Not filling in the 'itunes:subtitle' tag is what's caused the problem. When subscribing, the 'Description' column is presumably populated by the 'description' tag in the absence of the proper one, but the Store is not doing this.
Oddly enough your latest episode does have the 'itunes:subtitle' tag but it's not showing in the Store - did you add it subsequent to posting the episode? - if that's the case the Store will pick it up when you post a new episode.
