PODs in latest SAP ME (5.2.5.5) not working

Hi
I found that PODs in the latest version of SAP ME do not work in my server. When I try to perform any activities I get an error:
403 Forbidden
SAP NetWeaver Application Server 7.11 / AS Java 7.11
Error: Form ID validation failed

Do standard PODs work in your environment? Any idea what can cause it in my test server?

Hello,
We had similar issue with POD during the update,
Go to control panel, open Java control panel and then delete the temporary internet files stored by Java application.
This worked for us .

Dear Portal Gurus,
we want to integrate SAP BW Bex Queries 7.3 into an Enterprise Portal 7.3 EP ABAP Stack only installation.
1) We have Done SSO between EP And BI System
2) System Object is Created
3) When we trying to create Iview of BEX 7.3 report, its executing that report on BI server, we don't have java stack on BI System
4) We have updated the required table in Bi system for executing the report on EP
5) RFC is OK, System Object Test is OK, Report is working independently from Business Explorer, but not working from EP
There no irj services available on BI system, as it is only ABAP stack.
Can anybody help us in achieving our requirement

To integrate portal with BI you need to perform BI Portal integration steps.
Refer to a document link below for guidance purpose.

SAP GUI Scripting Wizzard Windows7 does not work

Dear Experts,
I am quite a novice when it comes to SAP GUI scripting (let alone any other development), therefore my question might be rather stupid. After my PC was migrated from XP to Windows 7 it is no longer possible to use the SAP GUI scripting wizzard. When you select it from the menue, simply nothing happens.
Does anyone have an idea what I need to do to have this useful tool back on my PC?
We are running SAP GUi 7.1

I had the tech guys here install , the latest GUI patch level 15,
and the script development tools not working issue has been fixed
They (SAP?) removed the 'script development tools' menu option!?
I have not installed the MS hotfix, but
My question is, it true the 'Script development tools' is gone?

b) The Activate GuiXT tool in SAP GUI also does give you some clues in the element window
and could be an alternative way , to get control names.
eg a radio button is R[P_CONTROL_ID] when it should be radP_CONTROL_ID
c) The SAP script recording and playback , to a vbs script will give you the control names also, if you edit the script.
You must of course have GUI scripting on in rz11

the auto complete word (CTRL + BACKSPACE) is not working, reading on other tread
seems that if we change the value of XML tag CodeHintAgreeByReturn from 0 to 1 in
c:\Documents and Settings\[user]\AppData\Roaming\SAP\SAPGui\ABAP Editor\settings.xml,
this issue is solved.
Unluckily that not work in my case, anybody can help me?

When uninstalling with the command line options "/uninstall /all", the event
scripts of installed packages, which are defined to run on uninstall, are now
executed.
Recommend to update your installation server to the latest nwsapsetup patches referenced in the attached note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1587566

SAP Inbox t code sbwp is not working properly

Hi,
In our SAP server the SAP mail box t code SBWP is not working at a particular time between 11 AM to 12 AM. If we send internal mails between SAP users in t code SBWP we are able to receive all the time but at a particular time of 11 AM to 12 AM we are not able to receive any mail.
If we send any mail at that particular time after 11 AM we are receiving it only after 12 AM, but this error we are not facing expect that particular time.
I have checked whether any backgroung work process is Active at that time but all the BG work process are free at that time
please help me how to solve this issue.

Here the solution:
Be careful, is very important to have a good policy zip file from Sun's web site
If the zip do not contain exactly
1 folder jce
All other files in the folder jce
That will not work !
For example, if you zip contain all file directly in the zip, without the jce folder, you sapinst will not start.
In fact, my jce zip folder was not like jce the zip folder on Sun's web site..

Why does latest version of Flash Player download but not work?

I have a new Vostro PC, win7 software preinstalled on 64 bit machine, running IE10. Have had many problems the latest of which is Adobe Flash Player appears to have downloaded but does not work. When I try to view certain internet sources, I get the message to update my Flash Player. I have done all the 7 steps suggested by Adobe support to correct the problem. None works. What now? by the way when I checked the version supposedly installed, it was the latest, but the box next to Adobe plug-in was not checked. is it possible I need both and somehow the plug-in portion is not downloading?

The plugin is only required if you use other brosers like Firefox, or other software that use the plugin.

Updated to latest version of yosemite and iPhoto does not work

we updated our computer to the latest version of yosemite and the iPhoto icon was not usable. The new photo app said it was downloading photo library but never got beyond 11% even after 2 hours. What should we do? We already got rid of iPhoto (as suggested on another website) and now are unable to find and/or download iPhoto. Please help

I just downloaded the latest Windows updates, now videos online will not work on Firefox but will on other browsers, anyone else having this problem?

After downloading the latest Windows updates I found that I could not play videos on YouTube or at other sites. Switching to other browsers I found I could play those same videos now without any problem. So I did a System Restore to determine if the Windows updates had affected video play using Firefox. The restore point was set to the day before the Windows download occurred. After System Restore was completed I could now play videos using the Firefox browser.
To make sure that the Windows update was the problem, I again downloaded the newest Windows Updates and once again could not play videos on any site using Firefox. System restore was used to again reset my computer to the day before and once again the videos would ow play in the Firefox browser.

Actually your reply took me in another direction and I found this on the Adobe site:
The RealPlayer extension for Firefox, Downloading & Recording, has compatibility issues with Flash Player 11.3. If RealPlayer is installed Flash Player content does not appear. YouTube provides an error message when you try to watch a video.
As a workaround, do the following:
Start RealPlayer.
Click the RealPlayer icon in the upper-left corner and select Preferences.
Select Download & Recording in the left menu and deselect Enable Web Download & Recording for These Installed Browsers option.
Click OK and restart Mozilla Firefox.
Once I followed this I could now again play videos in Firefox.

SAP IDM - User Sync to UME Not Working

Hi All,
Currently we're planning to implement IDM 7.1 SP05 for ESS/MSS user Password provisioning. We're done the basic configuration as per the guides and HR Employers has sync to VDS and then to SAP Master Identity Store.
Now we wanted to sync these users back to IDM UI for setup Password provisioning as per guide 'User management for the Identity Management User Interfaceu2019.
However every times we assign the PRIV:UME Role to users it called the Global Task Event 'Modified User'. However as we understand it should call Create UME User, Modified UME User or Delete UME user task and which will create users in IDM UME.
Therefore users not created IDM UME and system also does not show enough log to analyse it. We've assign correct Privilege Task under PRIV:UME and it point to Create, Modified and Delete UME task as well.
Appreciate the support on same.

But all you mentioned has been checked.
keys.ini is fine (I had a problem with that before), the provisioning option is set, all tasks are checked that they're enabled.
Simply when I assign PRIV:UME to a user a "ModifyUser" log entry appears of the corresponding (ssuccesfully) IDM user modification -> but that's it. Nothing else. Not other job log, no system log, nothing in the log of the java stack. Simply nothing. I don't know why the UME provisioning tasks are neither triggered nor ANY log entry appears. It's hard to continue analyzing when a system appears alike a black box and absolutely no informations are returned.
I also failed at several attempts to call these tasks directly/from manual created tasks.
These tasks "simply" do not react any more ..

I tried downloading the latest Jdev 11g Tech Preview - 3 from the link mentioned on the site : "Download Oracle JDeveloper 11g Technology Preview 3 - Java EE, SOA and WebCenter Development". But the page always times out.
Is there an issue from my side here or someone else also facing the same problem ?

Figured that the problem was because I was using Mozilla Firefox. It works with IE. ( But what about browser neutrality? ;) )
