POI NoClassDefFound with Excelsior JET

Hi All!
In my application I need to include jakarta POI to export some contents in Excel.
Using JBuilder I do not have any problem...
Instead when I create an exe for my application with Excelsior JET, it does not find the classes...
anyone can help me??

Alright Dean, if this next suggestion doesn't work, then I'd like to see a few more lines from the error output of the 'java' command. I want to know exactly what java is looking for. I'd also like to see your manifest because somethings not matching up.
So here's my suggestion: I think you didn't include the package name when you specified the Main-Class attribute, so I'd like you to double check that, see if there is any typo's etc. Example: Let's say your package is com.company.project and your main is located in MainClass.class then the main class attribute would be "Main-Class: com/company/project/MainClass".

P.S. "Class-Path: ." is all you need. Oh, one more thing. When you view the contents of your jar (jar -tf myjar.jar), all of the classes have the package in front of them, right? While your looking at the listing, double check for case sensative mismatches as well.

I installed the evaluation version of JET a few weeks ago and as far as I can remember I didn't face such problems.
The only advice I can think of is to rename jdk folder in order to eliminate dots (e.g. from jdk1.3.0_03 to jdk13003).
It seems dots tend to bug the system. Be careful, before renaming (if u're willing to do it) check all paths that rely on jdk.

Do a reset on the phone, holding the sleep/wake and home button together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After that, put the vehicle back into discovery mode and then turn Bluetooth on for the phone. It should connect. Sometimes when updating iOS on the phone can cause a temporary issue with Bluetooth connections.

Help with printing photos on photo print paper with Desk-jet 3050A

Hello I am in need of some advise regarding my desk-jet 3050A printer, the problem is that I cant seem to print pictures on to my glossy photo print paper; I can print pictures onto standard A4 plain paper but the pixels have blurred slightly.
I cant seem to find any accurate advise regarding which photo printer paper is compatible with my printer and how to actually print a picture onto both plain paper/photo paper at a good quality, any help would be appreciated, let me know if you need anymore information. Thanks

Getting MAC OS10.10.1 to communicate with Office Jet Pro 8610

My printer works fine in the internet and copy modes. It automatically downloads upgrades. When I first set it up, everything worked fine, both in harwire version and wireless. Then for some reason it quit working, as I was getting a "printer is not connected" message on the print screen. I then threw all HP divers into the trash and reinstalled frm the HP site the latest driver. Same result. I then tried to deinstall, but when I opened the HP folder, there was no "deinstall" . Could you please tell me how to correct this, as Ihave now had the printer a couple of months, without being abl to use it. Regards, Ron

I'd like to help you with the communication issues you are having between your HP Officejet Pro 8610 and your Mac running OS X 10.10. I am assuming you are attempting to connect wirelessly, since you mentioned that the internet functions on your printer are already working fine. Please feel free to correct me if this is not the case. The easiest way to confirm that both the mac and printer are properly connected to your network is to see if you can access the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS). On the home screen of the printer touch the Wireless icon.Make a note of your IP address.On your Mac open the Safari browser.Type the IP address (ex.10.0.0.9) into the address bar and press Enter.Does your printer's page come up?You can also try doing a network power reset to refresh the network connection for both devices. Let's leave the router on and unplug the power cable (NOTE: Do not reset the router.), then do the same with the printer, and shut down the computer. After a full minute, plug the router back in, wait for it to fully power up, then plug the printer back in and wait for the wireless light to become solid. Once both the router and printer are on, go ahead and turn the computer back on. Doing this will refresh the network connection. Need help with office jet 6500 E709

I use Vista 64 bit os. I have my hp officejet 6500 E709 connected to my router so that we can use if wirelessly through my network. I recently had to reformat the hard drive and since i have reinstalled the original software the printer will only work with my computer if it is connected via USB cable. All the other computers still work wirelessly Help please.

Hi,
Please uninstall the older software off of this computer.
Then CLICK HERE for the proper driver for your operating system. This driver is the latest version.
Save the download to your desktop.
Double-click the installation file on your desktop.
This will extract the software.
Then run the installation.

Networking problem with desk jet 3052a J611

Greetings,
I realize there are multiple posts on this topic, and I've tried them all with no success. Used to have this printer connected to the wifi at our previous house with no problem. Moved to a different house and have Comcast now with a Cisco router, model DCP3939 with Xfinity. This router has 2 networks; a 2.4 and 5.0 ghtz. I didnt want that, but that came with the best deal offered. The computer I'm connecting with is a MacBook Pro with OS 10.9.4. I've tried to connect with both the push button and PIN methods and get a WPS error everytime.. When I printer the error report, there's no additional information other than "Failed". Thanks for your time, and please advise.

I understand you're receiving problems connecting the Deskjet 3052A J611 over your wireless network. I will do my best to assist you! I noticed you stated that you have a dual band router, which provides 2.4GH and 5.0GH. HP printers connect to the 2.4GHz frequency band and the 20 MHz bandwidth only. Are you connecting this printer using the 2.4GH or the 5.0GH?
To manage the different bands and what devices connect to each, try assigning a unique SSID (network name) to each band. For example, name the 2.4 GHz band to “Mynetwork” and the 5.0 GHz band to “Mynetwork-5G”. Communication and connectivity issues might occur with the printer connected to the 2.4 GHz band and the computer connected to the 5 GHz band. Try connecting the computer to the 2.4 GHz band. Problem with Laser Jet 1018

Hello! I have a problem and need help.
I have LaserJet 1018 and i've just updated my windows 8 to windows 8.1 (32-bit). There are no drivers for my printer on the HP site for windows 8.1 and i've tried drivers for windows 8 and though printer appears in devices on computer, it's unable to print. I don't recieve any error mesages it's just don't print!
So, my question is: how to get my LaserJet 1018 work? And will you make drivers for this printer work on windows 8.1?(sorry for my english i'm not a native speaker)

I had same problem.
I figured out this problem for a days and then I found it.
1. Just in case, you should download a driver file from this link :http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4132&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=1814...
2. Remove the printer(1018) in Devices and Printer on your computer.
3. Eject your printer USB.
4. Plug the printer USB in your computer.
You might be shown installing the printer and you can see printing when you try test-print.
If you have same problem, try to install the driver file at first and then try again from 2 to 4.

I've downloaded the 1.3.1.01 version of Plug-In from SUN. The strange thing is that the scanning the HTML code of the page in which the applet would run, an old version of Plug-In (1.1) is requested. Then I try to run tha same applet (same java code, same HTML) on an other PC, that doesn-t have the PlugIn v1.3.1.01 but only the old version, and it works!!!!
The applet (wkspapplet) inherits from Applet and not JApplet, using only old (sigh!) AWT classes and libraries.
Do you know something about?
Obviously the JARs requested by my applet are in my CLASSPATH NT Environment variable, but I don't understand if this is a problem of "file not found" or an error generated by the security manager, otherwise also the old PlugIn wouldn't find the class!!!

please check whether you have set the correct path in the "Java Runtime Environment" in control panel-->java plugin1.3.1_01-->Advanced, instead of default path.

How do you fix UnsupportedClassVersionError

I have created an application that will run on any computer with the JDK. I want to make it an executable file so that you don't have to have the JDK to run it. I downloaded a Native compiler that will compile your Java application into an executable. It asks you for two things: The directory with all your application's .java and .class files. It asks you to specify a main .class file. It comes with a few sample applications that you can compile. I am using the most simple one the hello world application. Here is the hello.java file

Now, this file came in a directory with the files hello.class and hello.java. If I use the native compiler (Excelsior JET is it's name) and i specify the directory that contains the hello.class and hello.java file as the application's working directory, and Hello.class as the main class and then click test, the native compiler will run the hello world application just fine. After testing I can click compile and it will turn that application and to a hello.exe file that will run on any windows computer without a JDK. Now, if specify the information for my own Java application, (which would be it's working directory C:\Vocab\) and Vocab.class as the main class, the native compiler will not be able to test and certainly not compile it and it and will give me this output:

You see the part that says java -cp C:\Vocab Vocab? If I type that into the command prompt, my application will run. So why wont it run here? I think the answer lies here:

Ok that is in the help section that comes with Excelsior JET, the main compiler. Now back to that hello world application. As i mentioned before it comes with the hello.java and hello.class file. I can take that hello.java file and use either jGrasp, Netbeans, or go to the directory
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0\bin and use the javac.exe file to generate a hello.class file. Now if I take that hello.class file that was generated from the hello.java file that was in the hello world directory, and overwrite the hello.class file that came with the native compiler, I can try testing the compiler but i just get the same error that i get when trying to test/compile my own application. Let me clarify:
hello.class that came with the compiler will test and compile
hello.class that i made with jGrasp, Netbeans, or Javac will not test or compile.
So what do I use to create the proper .class files that will test/compile?

That means the box is having trouble communicating to the VOD servers. Please reseat the coax cord from both ends (the wall end and the box end). Once the coax cord is back on, reboot the box by unplugging power cord for 20 seconds then plugging back in. Thread �main� java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError

I installed from the downloaded j2sdk-1_4_0-win.exe file into c:\dh\jav\jav2SDK140 directory. I have my java source all in one directory from which I gave the following commands.
Set CLASSPATH= .
c:\dh\jav\jav2SDK140\bin\javac TowerHan.java
c:\dh\jav\jav2SDK140\bin\java TowerHan
The file TowerHan.class shows up under the dir command after the execution, and I get only one error message which is the following message from the final of the three lines.
Exception in thread �main� java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: TowerHan
I didn�t have this problem until I installed the new 1.4.0 version. Where do I look to solve the problem? It compiles but doesn�t run. I installed j2sdk1.4.0 for use with Excelsior-Jet which finds and compiles TowerHan.class just fine using the command:
c:\dh\jav\jet210\bin\jc TowerHan.class
So there has to be a simple explanation, but I cannot find it.

The first time I compiled the program it worked. But now it doesn't. Somthing unstable about all this. Now I get the error message Exception in thread �main� java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError. I'm wondering if more packages need to be imported, maybe for the Date object; or could it be that more files should be included in the path names. I am having trouble printing via wireless with HP Office Jet 6500A printer in our new residence. It worked in our other house but not here. I have to print via USB connection

Any ideas on how I can get a regular wireless connection with HPOffice Jet 6500A from my Mac Book Pro? It used work well and wirlessly in our previous home with a Broadband conection through the router. Would moving to ADSL have caused the issue now or is it the printer? I have had it work about three times but have resorted to plugging in via USB port. Two viviting techos have not been able to fathom it out either.

It is very difficult to offer troubleshooting suggestions when the "os version" you are using is unknown as each os has their own troubleshooting solutions.
Please complete or update your system profile so the users here can properly help you.

Jet error with Multisim

I've just installed Multisim only to find out that it is not functioning. When I start multisim I get an error saying that MSComp_S.prd, CPComp_S.prj and UsrComp_S_.usr can't be opened. 'The error message end with The User Database cannot be read. Features using the User Database will not work.' I would guess that it's a problem with the Jet database engine. I've got Windows XP Home so I do not have permissions, so that can't be the problem.

Hi, I just read this post and I would like to ask you a couple of questions, please be detailed on your answers so we can get a better idea on how to get to the root of the problem since this is a very uncommon error.
1. In your original post, what exact version of Multisim were you installing?... Was that 10.0? or were you installing a version 9 or previous?
2. Were you doing a clean installation or did you had a previous installation?
3. Did you change any of the default installation directories?
4. After you were done installing, did you manually moved/copy any of the user, corporate or master databases?
Then you have another post about upgrading to 10.0.1, which first of all, I believe that error is related, however:
5. Does the error shows up while installing 10.0.1? Or after is installed?
Please answer back those questions, however, to access the databases Multisim uses the DAO object which is installed in Windows, in some cases, not able to access the database is related to a permissions settings, which if you say you are Admin it might not be the reason, but still, check the installation directory: C:/Program Files/National Instruments/Circuit Design Suite 10.0/ folder properties and make sure that you have Full Control permission on that folder.
Another reason is that the DAO object is not properly set in your system, we have an old KB 3ZQAMIDK that talks about how to properly register it, you might want to give it a try.
And last, please try to do a clean install of 10.0.1, you may need to uninstall previous installations, and delete the installation directory.

What is wrong with Verizon?

I'm having a terrible experience with Verizon, and being a 20-year customer, I am pretty ticked. We renewed my wife's phone a few months ago, and the rep at the Verizon Store told us we had to change our plan from the unlimited data plan to a limited plan. Fine. She then spent AN HOUR doing something in the computer while we tried to keep our 18-month old daughter entertained. She eventually summed up the changes by saying we'd be saving $20/month and the new plan came with free Jet Pack service. I didn't ask for the Jet Pack, and I have no need for it. But it was apparently free, so she threw it in the bag, and we went home.
Three months, a couple hours of support calls, a second visit to the Verizon Store, and hundreds of dollars in fees later, a 611 rep finally told me the Jet Pack service wasn't free—in fact, it came with its own contract at $50/month and $175 early termination fee. The Verizon Store rep said "people had been fired" over this type of deception (but said he couldn't do anything about my situation), and the 611 rep acknowledged deceptive Jet Packs sales had been a problem. Fortunately, she was sympathetic and said she'd cancel that contract and refund that month's charges. I still ended up wasting a bunch of time and paying extra fees that I'll never get back, but I thought the hassle was over.
Then today I get an email stating there was a new document in my account. I logged on to find a service summary document that STILL shows the Jet Pack on my account, albeit at $20/month now.
I cannot express in words how angry this makes me. But I'm sure going to try when I make YET ANOTHER call to your worthless call center tomorrow.

My first bill was a month after visiting the Verizon Store, and it was for $100 more than my usual bill. I called 611, and the rep told me it was partly because of upgrade fees, but failed to explain why it was $100 higher than normal.
The next month, it was $60 higher than normal, so I called again. This time the rep told me it was because of the Jet Pack service plan. I told her the Verizon Store salesperson told us the Jet Pack came free with the switch to the new limited data plan. She said the device was free, but the 2-year contract was $50/month, and I'd need to visit the store to see about returning it.
That's when I discovered the deception. The store salesperson told us the Jet Pack was free. I did not ask for a Jet Pack. I didn't even know what one was. The salesperson lied to us, plain and simple. And without getting the bill until 30 days later, your 14-day trial is meaningless.
So I went back to the Verizon Store. The manager said acknowledged the deception, and said "some employees have been fired over this." But, not surprisingly, he "didn't have access to the system" to remove the Jet Pack from my account and instructed me to call 611 (again).
So I made a THIRD call to 611, and the rep immediately acknowledged the issue, but said she needed her supervisor's permission to remove the Jet Pack. Because her supervisor wasn't there on the weekend, she said she'd call me on Monday. I never received a call.
Later, I received an email showing a ~$50 refund to my account, which I assumed to be the monthly fees for the Jet Pack and considered the matter resolved. Then I got an email referencing a new "letter" on My Verizon, which showed the Jet Pack was still on the account, albeit reduced to $20/month and 2GB. I just received my Verizon bill, and it shows a $20 fee for the Jet Pack.
The bottom line is Verizon tricked us into a 2-year contract for something we never asked for and to this day have NEVER used. Two of your representatives have acknowledged it, one said she'd fix it, and yet I'm still being overcharged. And now you're suggesting I transfer it to a family member? This is a huge insult.
If you were serious about providing customer support, you would refund every penny I've been overcharged for the Jet Pack I never wanted and have never used. And you'd probably offer me some sort of compensation for the hours of frustration I've spent trying to resolve this.

Form ,Table with borders not printing in other Printers

I am trying to print a smartform with original language as Arabic .
When I am taking a print out with Laser Jet printer , the table is coming with borders and everything is perfect .
But when I am trying to take out print with other printers ,Table borders are not showing up .
Please let me know the cause of this issue .

Hi Joe,
You can check with your SPAD configurations.
SPAD->Device Type->Attributes Tab
If its a dot matrix printer it won't print vertical lines. Different printers have different print margins. This could be also a reason as you are shifting different printer types on the same smartform.
