Point History

I have been a Silver/Elite Plus member for the past 6 years.  I am very dissapointed at the redeign of the myrewardzone webpage.  I don't see anywhere where i can view how many points I have earned for the year and how many are needed to retain my membership level.  The lack of being able to look at purchases older than 90 days is also very frustrating.  I have been a loyal consumer for a very long time, but when you redesign a webpage, you should make sure it contains all the information customers are looking for.
On a side note, I appreciate the different levels of membership, even though I was not thrilled the highest level now takes $3,500 to obtain.  Best Buy should also offer extra perks for people who have maintained a certain level over many years.  Those are your extremely loyal customers who should be rewarded for their continual support.

Greetings phish3, and welcome to the Best Buy forum,
I can understand wanting to view the details of your My Best Buy™ account and normally you can; however, we have temporarily removed a couple My Best Buy™ features from BestBuy.com in-order to allow for an overall better shopping experience on line during the busy Black Friday and Cyber Monday week.  I posted something to the forum a few days ago regarding those changes.
While we do expect those features to be available again by the beginning of December, please feel free to send me a private message if you want to check your Elite/Elite Plus spending total or something like that and I can go over your account with you.  This applies to any other members with similar questions.  You can send a private message by clicking on the blue button in my signature labeled "Private Message."

Thank you for posting and for being a My Best Buy™ member!

  • Since I can't view my points history.....

Can a specialist please let me know how many points I have pending and an estimated date of when I'll be receiving my points since I can't view anymore on bestbuy.com. I want to know if I'll be receiving points for a pre order and a purchase that I made on 9/27. When can we expect to be able to view our history. I figured since a lot of people are asking for this feature it would of been on the top of the to do list for bestbuy. I wouldn't be asking but I had problems in the past with receiving points.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Good morning Dracky,
As long as your BestBuy.com and My Best Buy accounts are linked, you should be able to login to BestBuy.com right now and view your points/purchase history.  I posted an update to the forum on 10/1/2014 once the points/purchase history feature had officially been added to BestBuy.com.  You would want to login to BestBuy.com, click on "Account Overview" or "Rewards" under the My Best Buy tab, and then click on either "Points History" or "Purchase History."
From what I can see, you do have a couple transactions from 9/27/2014 that are currently pending in your account.  If you would like to discuss your account in additional detail, then please feel free to send me a private message and I will see what I can do to help.  You can send a private message by logging into the forum and clicking on the yellow envelope located at the top of the page.

  • Measuring Point History

    Hi! Experts
We are working with MAM25 SR5 and we have the following quastion regarding measure point history:
Currently we can see only one history document on the PDA. It is the last one that was registered on the system. But my  users want to see at least the last 3 ones if they already exist on the backend system. Is it possible ?? how can we show it ??
    Backend:
    The perform general setting
    Measuring Points:
    Variant:   XXXXXXX
    Vianta:    YYYYYY
We did active the ckeck box Last Meas. Document in order to get it on the history parton the PDA.
    My questions are:
    1. Should I take that check box out in order to get more than one historic information ???
    2. Where should I control how many historic documents I want to see on the PDA ??
    Thank you very much
    Xiomara Aramendiz

    Hi Xiomara,
have a look into SPRO - there you should see the question if you want the history or not. And related to that you can enter how many you like to see.
If that is not the case in your system, then simply enhance the GETDETAIL handler for this object to return more then the last history.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Oliver

  • XCode 4 : No editing insertion point history??? What the...

    Hello…
After countless hours of searching, I wasn't able to find a way to move forward and backward in my editing places in my code. It is as if the Xcode4 does not hold any insertion point history.
The current Forward/Backward scheme of XCode4 ( by using "Control" + "Command" + "Arrow", or three finger touchpad swipe, or the two little arrows on the left top corner of the code) is to move between file history.
It completely destroys my productivity, to the point I am seriously considering to switch back to Xcode3. If anyone knows how to do editing point history navigation in Xcode4 the way we did it in Xcode 3 I would be more than happy to listen to his suggestions.
    Message was edited by: Iron_0

Hi xnav, thanks for the response..
I tried opening two tabs with the same file. In order this solution to work, every time you need to do an editing to click on the tab of the file on the background, activate it, and do the change there. On the next change you need to click the tab of the previous file again, and do it there. It is not very convenient as on every change you will need to click on the other tab. And also in case of scrolling you need to scroll the other tab too so that they point at the same place…
It's so confusing… In Xcode3 I had implement an app that consisted of 45 classes and the biggest one was 15000 lines of code and the navigation in the lines of the same class was like a breeze using the back button. In my current new app I hardly have 2000 lines of code in my main class and I straggle to do any progress at all. Splitting the code into different classes may sound as the way to go, but there are cases that this is not effective and things need to be held at the same class..
Anyway, thanks so much everyone for the responses and suggestions.. I really appreciate the time you spent for them… I hope in the end something useful to come out of this..

  • Error in Points history regarding an in store game preorder. Need assistance getting it resolved.

I preordered Watch Dogs for the Xbox One several months ago, and payed $59.99 when I did so. I went to pick up the game today and was told I was paying off the remaining balance due(being the tax). On their screen they saw the remaining balance due, on the credit card swipe panel I saw the full ammount of $65.24, I asked if it was going to be a problem, and I was assured it wouldn't be, so I hit accept.
Upon printing out the reciept the CSR realised she was in error, and I was charged a full $65.24 for the game preorder even though I had previously payed off $59.99 of the price when I preordered. So she did an adjustment and gave me $59.53 in cash back.
Aside from the fact that it seems I was charged $0.46 extra( I'm not going to gripe about that) this has created another problem. On my Best Buy account's purchase history it shows the game for $65.24 with a total points earned of 118(not counting my Elite Plus adjustment which factors in when the points get posted), but it also shows a 2nd listing for the Watch Dogs game for ($59.53) with a total points earned of -108(as if the game had been returned and these points will hence be deducted)
Thats is a problem, as I did not return the game, the problem is I was charged an additional $59.99 when trying to pay off the remaining balance, and when that was corrected, the system now seems to be trying to remove the points for the purchase that I should be getting. I would greatly appreciate someone looking into this, if additional information is needed I will provide it.
The email for my best buy account is the same as the one used for my forums account here.

    Hi Veroku_Chan,
It definitely sounds like something was not quite lining up when you went to pickup your copy of Watch Dogs.  If you had already paid the full $59.99 when you originally pre-ordered the game, then the register should not have charged you $59.99 again.  I am glad the cashier was able to get everything straightened out; however, I can understand how that experience may have been frustrating for you, especially if it could effect your My Best Buy™ points.
After looking over your My Best Buy™ account, it appears that both the second purchase and return are currently pending.  As far as points, they will basically cancel each other out.  I would be more than happy to make sure your account is up-to-date and that you are awarded the correct amount of points, but I would need to wait until both transactions have officially post, which can take about 20 days.
While we wait for those transactions to post, I am going to send you a private message so that I can gather a bit more information from you about the original pre-order.  To check your private messages, you would want to login to the forum and click on the yellow envelope icon located at the top of the page.
Thank you for posting to the forum!

  • Bought 2 copies of COD and no purchase history is shown on either! (been a week)

Preordered and picked up 2 copies of Call of Duty (Seperate transactions on 11/02/14) and there has been no purchase history in my account. No points pending! I should be getting the extra $10 for pre ordering as well. I was going to report missing points on both transactions but i want it to reflect the extra $10 for picking up the pre order as well and i thought it wouldnt.
    Anyone?

    sti4thewin,
Thanks for reserving and purchasing your copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare with us! I hope you're enjoying the game so far.
As you may be aware, it typically takes 15-20 days from the time of pickup or shipment for points tied to pre-order bonus certificates to post. They may also never appear as pending, and instead imply appear in your points history at the end of that timeframe. You may have to check older purchases too depending on how long ago you reserved your copy -- pre-order bonuses will often be listed on/around the same date your order was placed.
If you still haven't seen record of your pre-order certificate after than 15-20 day window has passed, let us know and we'd be glad to look into the situation on your behalf at that time.

  • Can't Report Missing Points

I pre-ordered Call of Duty Advanced Warfare with store pick up so I would go to midnight release and at same time get the 500 points for pre-ordering.  It has been a week and its not showing up in my points history. I did the same with Sunset Overdrive and those points and transaction is showing up.  My pre-order does show in the "Online Order Status". I'm dissapointed!

    Hey Trav3ler,
Enuf is spot-on: you may not necessarily see records of your base points or pre-order bonus certificate for 15-20 days after pickup or shipment. If you still haven't received them after that window has passed, let us know and we'd be glad to look into the situation on your behalf at that time.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, as well as for purchasing your copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare with us!

  • My Points are not Increasing

    Hi All,
I have known that when i post a thread and give points to members who have answered i will get points for that. I got 25 on 05-10-2011. It is not updating my points from that date? It is showing on Last Contribution date as 05-10-2011 but i even posted yesterday also. can any one please help me what should i do for increasing my points.
    Thanks,
    jyothi.

If I understand correctly, your problem is this:
You posted this question: Workset map ivew on 13.10.2011, and sometime after that awarded 6 points to Saurabh Agarwal. But when you check your points history - "Additional Points" - there is no point awarded to you for awarding points.
I agree this looks wrong. Can you please send an email to [email protected], quoting this thread, just in case the problem isn't picked up via the forum.
I'm confused why you think it's a serious issue. Nobody has died from it,have they?
    Regards

  • Error with My Best Buy Points when trading in?

I have Gamer Club Unlocked and have recently traded Destiny for $44 including the GCU 10% bonus. However, when I look at my Best Buy Points history, it shows that the game was traded in for only $40, and that I received 80 points for the transaction.
Did I get screwed out of 8 points, or do the double points only apply to the base value of the game?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hey again downthesun01,
Good question! The My Best Buy points awarded for any given trade-in are determined by the base value of the traded games, before any applicable promotions or Gamers' Club Unlocked benefits are added. The trade-in bonus credit GCU members receive is also calculated independently from any other applicable trade-in offer. For example, here's how things would break down if a GCU member were to trade in a game worth $50 during a 50% bonus trade-in credit promotion:
    Base Trade-In Value = $50.00
    My Best Buy Points Awarded = $50.00 x 2 = 100 Points
    10% GCU Trade-In Credit Bonus = $50.00 x .10 = $5.00
    50% Trade-In Credit Bonus Offer = $50.00 x .50 = $25.00
    Total Trade-in Credit Received = $50.00 + $5.00 + $25.00 = $80.00
    I hope his helps.

  • "Victory can be pre-ordered" missing points

on Oct 23rd i preordered two games on bestbuy.com.  Sunset overdrive (xbox one) and Call of Duty: Advance warfare (PS4).  Both games were eligible for the "Victory can be pre-ordered" bonus points yet when i look at my purchase history it would appear that only sunset overdrive received the bonus points.
I had sunset overdrive delivered to me by mail.  Call of duty, I chose to pick up at a store.  I tried to call 888 best buy, but 888 best buy is just horrible.  Everytime i call its over a 20 minute wait, I get someone who barely speaks english and after 30 or more minutes of trying to explain what im calling about the representative tried to tell me that because i preordered both games on the same receipt that only one game gets the bonus points.  I debated that i am able to preorder as many different titles as i like on one receipt and as long as they are eligible for the promotion i should get it for each one. she then stated she would "transfer" to the elite plus hotline which resulted in the call being disconnected.
Who should i contact in regards to the missing points.  I remember in the past there was a specific way to email representatives that handled reward zone issues but I did not see that option anywhere in the mybestbuy account. nor could i find the exclusive number elite plus members should call if they have any concerns.  any and all information is greatly appreciated as well as your time and consideration regarding this matter.

    Hey OmarMendez,
Like enuf mentioned, it typically takes 15-20 days from the time of shipment or pickup for pre-order bonus certificates to post. The associated points may also never appear as pending, and instead simply be listed in your points history on/around the original order date. You'll want to look for an adjustment that says either "Get $10" or "Victory Can Be Pre-Ordered" for each game.
I'd be glad to look into this situation on your behalf as well, so make sure to check your private messages when you can. To check your PMs, simply sign into the forum and then click on the letter icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

  • What format is IP SLA History "SampleT"

I am trying to use IP SLA on a CiscoIOS 12.4(24)T6 router.
It is configure to log failures only. However, we cannot interpet the output "SampleT". It shows a "SampleT" as in Start Time that is not in a recognized or documented format.
The documentation states that it is now in "milliseconds", but that does not make sense for an Absolute Time, only for a Duration Time.

And even more frustrating, why can't I find this documented anywhere?

The SampleT timestamp is the SysUpTime value at the start of operation iteration. A documenation bug CSCua91554 has been filed to add this to the IP SLA command reference for the 'show ip sla history' command.

  • Points taken for no reason? Confused.

    Hello,
So today I went to trade in a video game at Best Buy in return for a gift card. When I got home, I checked my Best Buy account and I noticed I have less points than before. I'm not exactly sure what I had before, but I definitely know it's less.
When I check my point history, it says...
    | 9/27/14 | Issued Certs | $5 Reward Certificate | $0.00 | -250 points |
I didn't do anything to redeem points. Wasn't I supposed to gain points for trading in a game? Did I randomly lose a $5 reward certificate? I'm just confused as to what this actually means. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hello Cintron,
Thank you for posting to the forum!
After looking over your My Best Buy account history, I can explain why your points balance is currently 39.  You appear to have had 215 points up until a couple of days ago when some pending points officially posted to your account.  Those points put you over your $5 certificate preference (250 points = $5), so they were converted into a certificate.  You have an $5 certificate in your account, and the points for your recent trade-in are currently pending.
You should be able to view additional details about your purchase and points history once we add that function to BestBuy.com.  We are looking to add that function soon, and once it has been added, I will post an update to the forum.  With that being said, I would encourage you to check the forum over the next couple of weeks for program updates.

  • Points / Certificate question

I preordered Destiny and used (what I thought) was a combination of available certificates and gift cards. I have been unable to access my points history, but it is saying that I have $5 in certificates to use. I have two questions,
    1) Looking at the order history, I see the gift cards were used, but the points do not seem to be. Can this be confirmed for me?
    2) Can the existing certificate be applied to an existing order? I am concerned with cancelling and replacing the same order as it is for a high demand product and I do not want to lose my ability to get the item.
    3) Since the points history has not been accessible for me, as it seems to be the case with others, will Best Buy make an exception to the policy of reissuing rewards certificates based on this issue?
    4) I have my rewards certificates set to issue at $20. Is there a way to see when I changed this versus when the last two certificates were issued?
I understand the policy of reissuing, so if that is the final answer, you do not need to send me to the fine print link. I am just hoping the interest of customer service some sort of resolution can be found. If not, I'll chalk it up as lost money to a confusing and broken system.
Also, if this is Derek answering, you have helped me multiple times with other issues. This is not intended to criticize any individuals. Thanks!

    Good morning ToxicLogics,
I am more than happy to see if I can help answer your questions!
Based on your pre-order, it does not appear that any My Best Buy certificates were redeemed.
If you want to apply any active My Best Buy certificates to your pre-order, then you would need to cancel the existing pre-order and place a new pre-order.
Are you trying to view your points history by logging into BestBuy.com?  If you want to view the details of your account and access your points/certificates , then you are going to wan to login to MyBestBuy.com.  Your My Best Buy and BestBuy.com accounts appear to be linked.
I am unable to see when you changed your certificate preference
I would like to go over your My Best Buy account with you to ensure it is up-to-date and that your certificate preference is correct, so I will be sending you a private message.  You can check your private messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the little yellow envelope at the top of the page.

  • Didn't receive Victory Can Be Pre-Ordered points

I pre-ordered Middle Earthhadows of Modor. I picked up the game on the release day. I recently looked at my point history and noticed I didn't get the Victory Can Be Pre-Ordered bonus points. This other forum I frequent, others said they also didnt get points either.

    Hi jgonzales14 and Ninjaskrzypek,
As you may have read in other similar forum threads, it can generally take up to 20 days for bonus points to post to a member's My Best Buy™ account.  If your pre-order of Middle-earth: Shadows of Mordor was picked up or shipped within 7 days of the games release (9/30/2014), then you should qualify for the 500 bonus points.  From what I can see, both of your pre-orders should qualify for the bonus points.
With that all being said, if you do not see the bonus points post to your My Best Buy™ account within 20 days, then please do not hesitate to send me a private message and I will make sure they are added.  You can send a private message by clicking on the blue button in my signature that is labeled "Private Message."
