Hi
We records our time in Time Sheet...however the data from IT 0007 and that of the Target Hours in CATS are not matching....
ie in IT 7 Saturdays and Sundays are non working days with Zero Planned working hours wheras in the CATS there are showing as 7.5 hrs each...
What could be the reason...?
We have checked the generation of Work Schedules freshly and yet to diagnose the main problem.....

Go and check the Dialy work Schedule.
As per your issue. Im assuming that your DWS will be in the following way.
(1) Planned Working hrs : 08
09:00 - 17:30.
30 min Unpaid Break.
(2) Planned working hrs : 00
If ur data is like this. please do the necessary things.
Just flag the no planned wrking hrs field in DWS table for OFF.
And then check the Period work Schedule.
And generate again.
Remember one more thing. Before genrating the work schedules manually, u need to delete the existed months in the calendar and you have to create again by clicking " create all " option in the geration work schedules screen. and display.
without deletion u vl not get the out put.

Michal et al have already answered this question but I'll jump in with my version:
1) Login to the Integration Repository, select your Software Component (SWC)
2) Ensure that the RadioButton stating "Import of RFC and IDoc Intefaces from SAP System Permitted" is selected. See:

3) Once the radio button is selected you should be able to import the IDOC (ORDERS.ORDERS05) to your XI system. See:

This is fine for practicing the mechanics of importing customer defined IDOC's or RFC's to your XI system. However, the ORDERS.ORDERS05 IDOC is officially supported and provided in the SAP APPL SWC. Please perform the following short checks :
1. Please ensure , that you start your Database Manager as user db2<dbsid> . Then retry
2. Check , that user db2<dbsid> is in the local Administrators Group of your Database Server . If not , try to assign db2<dbsid> onto Administrators Group and perform an new Logon and restart the instance related DB2 Services . Then retry .
If this does'nt help , or you had to assign db2<db2sid> manually to Administrators Group , there is in-depth analysis necessary and
therefor I recommend to open an SAP Service Request .

Payslip Programme unable to read beyond a certain Point(points guaranteed)

My client is unable to get the payslip for employees beyond a certain period.I have used Transaction SARA and PC_PAYRESULT but still unable to find out the real reason.My questions:
i.How do I find out till how much the data is archived?
ii.Is the payslip programme RPCETD00 unable to read the arcfived data?
iii.Can archived data be read from the clusters?

My experience is that you can read archived data from transaction pc_payresult
Also H99CWTR0 report can retrieve archived data.
However, I am looking for a payslip report that can retrieve archived data. I have not found it yet.

You CAN upgrade NW04 (2004) to 2004s (NW04s).

If you are using NW04 SP09, then update to SPx and upgrade to equivalent 2004s or better SP.
I did the upgrade from NW04 SP16 to 2004s SP07 this summer, very easy.
The thing you CAN'T, is an upgrade of EP6 SP2 to 2004s.
You need to migrate EP6 SP2 to NW04, then upgrade to 2004s.

We are creating an Enhancement-Point for an include RV15CI03. This include has several main programs. The one that we want to use is,RV15C002.
When we create an Enhancement-Point, the COMPILATION UNIT is set to RV15C002 automatically.
Is there a way to change the compilation unit for this point as "Multiple_use Include".

I dont see a point in having this statement
swc_set_table event_container 'INTERNAL_TABLE' t_cnp_container. Infact it is not needed !!
SWE_EVENT_CREATE like any other FM, take a
lt_var type standard table of SWCONT.
ls_var type SWCONT.
fill your ls_var with all fields and append it to lt_var each time and pass lt_var to event_table of SWE_EVENT_CREATE. It should work !!
However, suggested way is to use SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT instead of SWE_EVENT_CREATE from ECC 5.0 onwards. There are fe concerns with SWE_EVENT_CREATE mainly with respect to commit and persistancy. Better we should use SAP_WAPI* as much as possible from ECC 5.0.

SSO within an ABAP+JAVA on the same host

Experts:
We have a dual stack (ABAP+JAVA) NW04s on the same host.
The usage type EP7 is enabled.
From this EP7 we want to access its own ITS thru SSO.
We configured the SSO just like we did for the EP7 + ECC on 2 different hosts.
However, we are always asked for an ID/password when trying to test the SSO from the EP7.
The error is:
"SSO logon not possible; browser logon ticket cannot be accepted"

I also tried to do the same, but i think it's not possible.
I read somewhere that SAP recommends to use different instances of ABAP and Java. I installed seperate ABAP and Java instances on the same host and then configured SSO using the Configuration Wizard in NWA configuration. and it works perfectly.

Back-end communication error for r/3 parameter search

Hello everyone,
Have been facing this problem for sometime now.When i was clicking on 'binoculars/search' find to check for account assignment on web gui,i was getting this error "display not possible...inconsistency in input help" error.
I did configuration setting in 'define back-end' system(defined the last column of rfc destination), and the error disappeared and is working fine in sandbox.
Now when i do the same in development system,'inconsistency' error no longer pops up but another one pops up saying "error while communicating with the back-end system..inform system admin."
Just to let you all know,i am able to create back-end documents...it is just when i am trying to use "binoculars/find" in account assignment...the 'backend communication error pops up.
I have tried everything possible..checked all attributes..everything is fine.
Can someone assist me?I must be missing something very simple...plz suggest.

We are using transaction S_ALR_87012249 in order to generate financial reports for certain country , for certain company code.
But since 5th period there are no new data.

Problems accessing BW Report from Portal

Hello friends,
I have a problem. I am trying to create a link in portal that should call a BW Report. To do this we should require the query string which I have. The problem is this report in turn is calling a separate transaction code from a different back end system. When the user tries to execute the report he is getting the following error code
ICF-NF-http-c:000-u:SAPSYS-I:E-i:wwbsap06_DEV1_22-v:0-s:403-r:Forbidden
Can anyone tell me how this can be achieved?

BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN not Updating Special stock indicator field

Hi Experts
I am using BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN to create and then update a Customer Service Order. When am trying to update the Special stock indicator field in the Components Tab(of IW32) through BAPI, its not doing so, and no error is thrown as well.
The required qty and the batch field in the components tab get updated which ensures that the logic am using is the correct one.
Please let me know if anyone has faced such a situation before. Any workaround(some other FM) to update this field is also welcome.

BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN is only updating a field, when you set the update flag also in CHANGE method.
So if you are maintainig the IT_COMPONENT table, you have to put an 'X' into the same field in the IT_COMPONENT_UP table also.
And of course don't forget to commit the modification.

is there any transaction or report to get Stock overview plantwise/ storagelocationwise ... except MMBE it gives particular material.. i want per particular plant or storage location total materials stock.
I want stock report similar to MMBE it gives available stock per single material in a palnt but my requirement to print available stock per all materials in a given material along with storagelocation wise/batch wise and total quantity.

There's quite a lot you can do in Logistics Info Systems to report on stocks across multiple materials.
Other than that, it depends on what you really want to show - stock that's physically present (e.g. including vendor-owned consignment), stock that you own (e.g. including customer consignment or toll manufacturers' stocks); do you want to show quantities (doesn't usually make much sense for more than one material, of course, due to varying units of measure) or values, etc.
Some of these data are quite expensive to read from a runtime perspective, in particular the "special" stocks (e.g. consignment).
You also have to consider that stock you own but that's not physically present on site (e.g. customer consignment), or GR blocked stock, usually is not assigned to a storage location.
If you give me some more info about what you're actually trying to achieve, I may be able to help you better.
