Polar H7 HR BT LE belt

The H7 works perfectly with an ipad mini and the Polar Beat app, On my Z10 it's paired and connects when using Sportrate and CascaRun but bpm is displayed. After updating to OS 10.3.0.1025 there was improvement in connecting (no longer have to reboot before changing apps) but still no pulse shown. Any ideas ?.

Hi.
Yes, I get it detects the H7 and shows "Polar H7 XXXXXX" and it is saved, but it does not show "paired" neither the green tick as usually happens with other devices.
Do you mean that it is not necesary that it shows "paired" or a green tick? Is that correct?
Anyway, when I tested it some days ago I did what you say with BLE, though it did not show "connected" with the H7, so I had the same problem.
Thanks and regards.
If it is 'Saved' then it's paired, your problem is the connecting to an app. As I mentioned if you tried connecting in BT then reboot the phone. Open BLE, if it doesn't search for a device, go to settings and enable BT LE HR device, it will search and connect, minimise BLE and open CascaRun which will use the Android BT API and bpm will be displayed.
My BT headphone work at the same time.
HR in green zone.

    Seriousely? The Wearlink+ Nike+ heartrate sensor belt is incompatible with the iPhone 4S?
    The iPhone 4S is probably the most evolved smartphone on the market and it can't deal with the Polar wearlink+ sensor? Seriousely? We have a state of the art GPS in it, we could have a heartrate monitor and have one of the most complete and modern training system but we should buy the iPod Nano 6th gen for that.

  • Result set too large in BI report; Safety belt settings in WAD

    Hello All,
    When we run a BI report, the error " Result set is too large; data retrieval restricted by configuration" appears. We did a search on SAP portal and found the SAP note 1127156, whics recommends the configuaration of safety belt to limit memory used.
    Acoordingly the cust table RSADMIN has been configured. But on the web template side, we need to configure the changes as well. The note says:
    "1. Use the context menu Properties / Data Provider in a BEx Web Application to maintain the "safety belt" for a Query View.
    2. Choose the register "Size Restriction for Result Sets".
    3. Choose an entry from the dropdown box to specify the maximum number of cells for the result set.
    The following values are available:
    Maximum Number
    Default Number
    Custom-Defined Number
    Behind "Maximum Number" and "Default Number" you can find the current numbers defined in the customizing table RSADMIN (see below).
    4. Save the Query View and use it in another Web Template."
    I am trying to locate these options in the context menu in Web Applications designer but in vain.
    Can anyone help...

    This option is not available in WAD, it will be available when you run the web template under settings, Data Provider for the standard template 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN.
    If you have a custom template you will have to use the Dataprovider settings web item in your custom template to change the values during runtime.

  • How can I easily make a screen shot of a polar graph?

    Hi everyone,
    I am using the very simple VI I have attached to display points (up to 50000 points) on a polar graph. When the screen moves over to the area where there is the graph, the big number of dots included in the graph makes everything become very very slow. I would like to know if there is an easy way to make a print screen of the graph so that I initialize back the graph to no points (or make it invisible) and just display the print screen shot of the graph.
    I have already used the print screen function (+ cutting off the parts of the picture I don’t want) but this is a bit fastidious to do. Would an already made print screen function exist for this kind of graph?
    Thanks a lot,
    User

  • How can I change the Y-axis (circular) grid spacing, in Polar Plot VI?

    When using Polar Plot VI, I need more control over the plotting parameters. This means tweaking the sub-VIs in various ways. What I need to do most is make the polar magnitude axis less busy, i.e. only draw circles every 10 instead of every 5 divisions, when using a range of 0 (outermost) to -80 (innermost).
    The magic 'magnitude axis subdivisions' variable seems to be generated in Calc Scale Specs sub-VI, and output as an array of clusters, but I can't quite see how it's created and from what.
    Please can anyone help me gain control over the number of magnitude division circles generated?
    Many thanks!

    I think if you go inside the Calc Increment.vi and modify the Increment output terminal it might change what you want to see. Try putting a multiply by 5 or ten into the case structure for when the log is false.

    Is anyone aware of a leather holster that is big enough to accommodate the iPhone 4 with the wireless keyboard attached to it?  Needs to be able to be clipped to a belt.  Thank you.

    I have this one. It works well (if you're willing to give up your bumper.

  • Is new software around for Ipod Nano 5G with the Nike sensor and Polar wearlink HeartRateMonitor to get spoken feedback on heartrate-zone, so you get a warning if your heartrate is higher or lower than the predefined range.

    I have:
    Ipod Nano 5G with Nike+ sensor and Polar wearlink Heartrate monitor:
    works fine, linking is easy, but....
    Software is rather minimal: Heartrate is on the screen and you get feedback when the center-button is touched.
    To get better results, more functions would be useful, like defining a heartrate zone (like Polar`s own-zone) and automatic spoken feedback if the heartrate is out of the pre-defined range. Also automatic spoken feedback on actual and average heartrate every pre-defined time-interval would be very useful: like the spoken feedback on distance and actual pace I get on my Iphone with Nike+GPS
    Anyone have any suggestions ?

    I have the same issue! I purchased a nano 6th, polar hrm so I could run and receive spoken feedback when my heart rate was outside my preset zone.  My suunto t3 used to beep when outside the preset zones.  Automatic, periodic beeps or spoken feedback is the most important information to receive during exercise. I hope apple can update the software to add this simple yet critical feature.

  • Nokia e90 and polar axn700 infrared using MobileLi...

    Dear Nokia Support,
    I was wondering if it would be possible somehow to connect a polar heartrate watch such as for example the AXN700 to Polar Sports software for Nokia using infrared.
    The software seems to crash when trying to connect and at the polar website they say you will need the Nokia 5140i with infrared for it.

    oakley you seem to be under the impression that Nokia support will answer your question on this board.
    They will not...this board is a Customer to Customer help forum.
    Nokia staff only moderate the board .(if we miss-behave)...they do not answer questions.
    Some of us will answer if we can...IF WE CAN...in this case..I have no idea.
    Perhaps another customer knows the AXN700 to Polar Sports software...

  • How do you reverse the polarity of a track in GB?

    I use GarageBand to mix multi-channel audio (while listening to a stereo mix) then export it to A.Pack or SurCode for the final 5.1 mix to disc. I have a less than one year old Pioneer 7.1 receiver and 5 polk audio speakers from my attempted home theater that i now occasionally use to watch DVDs on my mac (using the optical audio). I was wondering if i would be able to set the tracks to certain balances (i.e. FL -127 C+0 FR+127) to output a form of Dolby pro logic to my reciver to simulate a final mix, but to get a rear channel in the mix, i would need to make one of my rear tracks' polarity reversed. Is there a plug-in to do this, or any other suggestions?

    A quick trawl in Google didn't throw up any Audio Units which would reverse the phase, but possibly if you did a more exhaustive search you might find one. This would be the easier answer.
    Otherwise you could do it by getting 'Amadeus II' from
    http://www.hairersoft.com
    This costs $30.
    To do this: choose the tracks you want to be on the rear channel. Centre them with the pan control and mute all the others. Export to iTunes. drag the resultant file to the dekstop and open it in Amadeus. Select one channel only.
    From the 'Effects' menu choose 'Stereo Utilities' then 'Invert Phase'. Save, and then drag the file back into GarageBand. You can now mute or delete the tracks which made up this rear channel.
    Strictly, to be a proper Dolby ProLogic track the rear channel should be Dolby B encoded: it might be worth turning up the top a bit to allow for this.
    Remember that in playback on a ProLogic decoder the rear channel is filtered below 100Hz and above 7kHz (it is only intended as an effects channel).

  • I use LabWindows/CVI and SCXI modules, how can i check the polarity of a capacitor during an ICT?

    I am a newbie using CVi Lab Windows and SCXI modules, how can i perform ICTs to check the proper polarity of a capacitor?

    Hello,
    That's a big question for a single sentence. Could you give some more details about the hardware you have, and the measurements you want to take?
    By the way, when you say ICT, do you mean In-Circuit Test or something else?

  • Lightning to USB camera adapter polarity sensitive?

    I only have the lightning cable on my iPhone and it works either way. My iPad 2 camera connection kit uses the prior 30-pin connector.

  • How can I increase line width on polar plot?

    The lines plotted on a LabVIEW 6 polar plot (picture control) are very thin and do not show up well when printed. I would like to increase the line thickness (as can be done easily on the graph controls), but looking through the polar plot VIs, I cannot find any obvious way of doing this.

    The polar plots basically use the picture control to draw the lines on a plot. To increase the thickness of the lines you would have to draw another line right next to the line. I'm sure this could be done, but would require alot of messing about with the drawing subVI's to draw all lines in duplicate.
    Alternatively you could plot the graph twice, but the second plot has an origin 1 pixel out. This will double the thickness on the screen, but i dont know what it will print out like. See attached example in LV 6.0.
    Another thing to try is change the plot colours. You can make the gridlines black (instead of grey), and paint the background white. This makes the lines show up much better. I will also include this in the same example.
    I hop
    e this helps you..

  • How to generate a pulse of 5 V -ve polarity in synchronisation with a 10 v input using PCI 6251 DAQ board

    HI
    I want to generate a 5V -ve polarity pulse to trigger my IEEE 1394 camera using an PCI 6251 (scb68 pin E) device, furthermore I am reading a standard Vsync signal from a SVGA port which is 10 v.
    Now I want to synchronise the image capture of an IEEE 1394 camera with the Vsync signal so that camera is triggered to capture at every 4th Vsync signal (which is 50HZ.). Presently I am able to read the Vsync signal and also generate the -5 v signal But the Daq board generates a continues -5v signal while I want a 1 ms pulse (for every 4th Vsync).
    Also this 5 v signal is generated even if the vi is stopped running.
    Can anybody guide me so this problem can be solved.
    Thanks a lot in advance
    Shri

    You can use the Write function, that is you can use the 10 volt signal as a trigger for the task, and when you get this trigger, the task starts and generate (writes) a waveform you defined in an array ("data", in the example).
    Something like this..
    DAQmxCreateTask("",&taskHandle);
    DAQmxCreateAOVoltageChan (taskHandle, clokSource, your_sampling_freq, -10.0, 10.0,
    DAQmx_Val_Volts, "");
    DAQmxCfgSampClkTiming (taskHandle, clockSource, SAMPLING_RATE,
    DAQmx_Val_Rising, DAQmx_Val_FiniteSamps,
    samp_to_read);
    DAQmxCfgAnlgEdgeStartTrig (taskHandle, input_channel, DAQmx_Val_RisingSlope, 9.0);
    DAQmxWriteAnalogF64 (taskHandle, 1000, 0, 10.0,
    DAQmx_Val_GroupByChannel, data, //data contain a pulse
    &samp_per_channel, 0);
    DAQmxStartTask(taskHandle);
    // and then you create a loop....
    For example you can specify data to be like this:
    data[0] = -5;
    for(i=1;i<1000; i++){
    data[i] = 0;
    Tell me if you need more help.....
    bye
