I just checked my LabVIEW 8.2.1 installation, and the version of the NVIORef.dll in the Runtime directory is still 8.2.0.131.
BUT: this is not the only content of the Runtime directory, as you can see in the screenshot attached to this post.
What OS are you using? If it is Microsoft Windows 2000, be sure to have at least SP3 installed before running the LabVIEW-RTE Setup.
Regarding the broken Test Panels in MAX - do you have any drivers installed (VISA, DAQmx, ...)? If so, did you reinstall them after running the LabVIEW 8.5 setup?
From my personal experience, I dare recommend you a clean new installation of both LabVIEW versions and the 8.2.1 runtime engine, best performed in the version order (7.1, then the 8.2.1 RTE, than 8.5.
There is a forum entry with a download link to MSI blast and a very good PDF which points you to the Windows Registry keys that you need to delete after deinstallation, which you can find here:

Discharge it to around 50-60% then completely shut it off. Store at around room temperature. When you return connect the charger and let the battery fully charge.

Salesforce and Crystal Reports XI Release 2 Full build with Service Pack 2

I need to install 'Crystal Reports XI Release 2 Full build with Service Pack 2' (CR XI R2 SP2) on a new computer but can't find the exe/zip file used previously to do that.
The reason I need that particular version is because (as I understand it) its the version needed to interface with our Salesforce application.
I have the CRXI original disks and keycode but as I understand it no manner of patching with SPs will get me to CR XI R2 SP2.
I've tried various searches and frustratingly come up with only dead links (old BO forums and SAP forums).
Is there a live link somewhere that I can use, or will a later version do the job?
For example, alternatively, will I be able to use the CR XI R2 SP4 file instead?

Hello,
Crystal Reports XI and XI R2 are not supported on 64 bit machines. I have not heard of any plans to change this. As you've discovered - the only version of Crystal Reports that is supported on a 64 bit machine is CR.NET 2005 (v10.2), the version that ships with VS2005.
Your options are to downgrade your application to use bundled CR.NET 2005 or to deploy your CR XI R2 .NET application to a 32 bit machine.

We didnu2019t use work flow functionality for PR Release. So same user can create PR and release the same PR in our system. Our requirement is user should not release the PR which is created by him. I would like to put this control in system.
How can I achieve this requirement?

Thanks for your reply. but they need to have authroization for PR release . bec they are eligble to release PR as per delegation of authroity. but they should not release their own PR . they can relase other's PR within their level.

Should I run a Full Crawl after running psconfig after updating Sp2013 with a Service Pack or Cumulative Update

Should I run a full crawl after I have performed a Service Pack Update or Cumulative Update and run psconfig wizard?
The best practise coming out of Microsoft says you should only run a full crawl after a configuration change.
You should then run a continuous crawl thereafter.
The question then becomes is a Service Pack Update / Cumulative Update followed by psconfig wizard (or the PowerShell equivalent) considered to be a configuration change.
We were recently advised by Microsoft to install the July 2014 CU (and then run psconfig).
After that the continuous search did not pick up newly created files until a full crawl was run.
So should I run a full crawl after I have installed a Service Pack or Cumulative Update and run psconfig ?

The situations when you need to do full crawl is listed here,
A Search service application has just been created and the preconfigured content source
Local SharePoint sites have not been crawled yet.
Some other content source is new and has not been crawled yet.
A software update or service pack was installed on servers in the farm. See the instructions for the software update or service pack for more information.
A Search service application administrator, site collection administrator or tenant administrator added a new managed property or changed an existing managed property. A full crawl is required for the new or changed managed property to take effect.
You want to detect security changes that were made to local groups on a file share after the last full crawl of the file share.
You want to resolve consecutive incremental crawl failures. If an incremental crawl fails a large number of consecutive times at any level in a repository, the system removes the affected content from the search index.
Crawl rules have been added, deleted, or modified.
You want to repair a corrupted search index.
The credentials for the user account that is assigned to the default content access account have changed. A full crawl is required only if the permissions of this user account have changed.
My opinion is, it is always better to do a full crawl after a successful installation of service packs or product upgrades.

Shipment door should be released at loading end rather shipment completion.

There is a requirment from Business that " Door should be released at Loading end " instead of " shipment end "
is it possible for us to do this through Developement if so how ?
Loading end gets triggered when the last item on the TO is confirmed for the shipment and if we clear the door assignment on the loading end and in the meantime it another truck arrives at gatehouse, there is a possibility that the same door will be assigned to the truck even before the prior truck leaves the door
This is the major fear ,Could this be acived like ..

Hi,
If we release the door during the Loading end status, this problem can occur. However inistead of loading end, if the door is released once the shipment status is "Shipment Start", I think it will work fine. At this point of time, anyway the truck also would have left the door and hence the door can be released to be made available for the next truck. There will not be any error in door allocation.

Very nice, but assuming you did deliberately fire the installer, don't you remember the command? Apart from that your question has (as usual) no version and no platform and no context. If you are still in the installer and using any variant of Unix you can very easily run 'ps' to see the exact command.
You would have needed to provide platform and version information when submitting the SR. Can you explain why you have this forum guess at it?

Solaris forms/reports release 2 contains forms 6.0.8.11.3 and reports 6.0.8.11.2. It is NOT a patch and contains later releases than 6i patch set one. Release 2 is also missing webDB. It also appears that the documentation has not been updated from the first release.
Note: For solaris 7 the documented required patches are definately not up to date.
Should I install release 2 at all? Would it be better to use the first release + patch set one?

Any ideas on this one? We are also thinking of using this. But not very sure whether it is stable enough to put it on production machine.

Should my 7.1 full dev. system have Application Builder? I can't find it.

I am interested in building a LabVIEW dll, and note that this requires Application Builder. Apparently this is included with the Professional Development System; my CD says LabVIEW 7 Express Full Development System Windows 2000/NT/XP, so should I be able to install the tool? If not, how do I obtain it?

Full Development is not the same as Professional Development. Only the Pro version includes the app builder. You can upgrade to the pro version or you can buy the app builder separately. Either can be done from http://www.ni.com.

PlOr should be released to ECC

I had generated planned orders in APO and i want to release to ECC.Can any one explain me what are the steps where we will see the planned order in ECC from APO. Also it will be great if anyone can explain me in details with steps.

Make sure you have an active integration model for planned orders in ECC . This integration model should defenitely have the material - plant combination for which you are trying to release the planned order .
The next thing is the distribution defenition in APO. Go to transaction /n/sapapo/cp1 and create an entry with publication type inhouse production . Give the appropriate location number and logical system ( the ECC logical system) and save the entry.
Once these two settings are done , whenever you create planned orders in APO, you should see the results in R/3 immediately provided you have configured real time transfer of data from APO to R/3 ( the type of transfer - say real time / change pointer based etc can be set using transaction /n/sapapo/sdp110 based on your business requirement)

Aol music new releases full cd-stops after installation of ca

Does anyone know why, at the AOL music site, the new releases full cd player would stop coming up, but, the browser still seems to be looking for it. Everything else on the site is working and I can listen to it.
This started happening after I installed the Audigy 2 Value card.
My laptop without the soundcard can still access this feature at AOL.
Is this a coincidence or is there a fix.

Found out today that AOL has put in new recordings. Must have been bad timing on the weekend.

Should I Do a Full Synch of iPod touch?

I provide occasional tech support for my son's iPod touch (I know he's supposed to be technologically more advanced than me!). He has always chosen to manage his music manually and has not done a full synch for many months. Is he missing anything by not synching? What's going to happen when he upgrades to the 3.x iPod touch OS from the 2.x he's still using? Will he have to synch everything either before or after that upgrade?
For some reason, the whole synching process has been a little confusing to him (us).

An iPod's sync mode travels with the iPod, so if he selected "Manually manage music and video" then that choice will always prevent the iPod from being updated by the library, even if you do a software update.
Installing 3.1.1 does not automatically wipe the iPod clean, but with prior releases there were some reports of the iPod being erased in the update process. I suspect that the majority of these were problems with the update, and the solution required the iPod to be restored (which eraases it).

Hello.
I have a problem with SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1:
I have a table with the full-text index-activated on 3 fields of type nvarchar.
When I try to open a transaction (ex: BEGIN TRAN {inserts} COMMIT) to insert multiple rows, I get the following error: "A severe error occurred on the current command ...".
I checked the Sql Server Logs and the Event Viewer on the machine, but nothing was logged.
I found a workaround: disable full-text-index => Do stuff => enable full-text-index, but this is very annoying (especially when i use the Data Compare to update that table on the Development Environment).
Help!!!

I concur with Tom. Upgrade to SP3. This may resolve the issue.
Since you say that there is nothing in the SQL Server errorlog, this may be an API issue. Try running the same commands through the command-line tools SQLCMD or OSQL to see how this turns out.
