PONAPPRV - Sourcing process stuck in draft negotiation approval

In sourcing while creating RFQ, the draft negotiation (before review and publish the negotiation) was submitted for approval to a collaboration team member. This was done by mistake, the workflow was not setup for this. In system administrator login, an error message was created "Error in Workflow PONAPPRV/100000-1 ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small ORA-06512: at "APPS.FND_MSG_PUB", line 279 ORA-06512: at "APPS.HZ_TIMEZONE_PUB", line 808 ORA-06510: PL/SQL: unhandled user-def". After submitting for approval the approver was removed, so now the collaboration team member cannot approve the document as well. The draft negotiation cannot be deleted as it is in the status "In Process" (Submitted for approval). A requisition line is linked along this draft negotiation. Is there anyway this draft negotiation could be deleted and release the requisition line to the Buyer's Demand Workbench? Or any way the team member could approve this draft negotiation now? Any concurrent programs through which this could be done?

Hi,
The difference is a draft can still be changed, it isn't ordered yet and therefore not yet awaiting any possible necessary approval. Draft and saved are maybe most similar however draft isn't a real document status. A local po is an ordered PO that while in approval can still be changed and re-ordered, however after being completely approved it will receive the status 'ordered' and can't be changed anymore.
You could use any workflow per business object, the local po is just as much a BUS2201 document as a draft PO is. To answer your final question; Yes i think it's possible.
Kind regards,
Tim

  • Sourcing Cockpit- Process All/ Selected Drafts

    Hello All,
Is there a way to put a Hard Stop during Process all/ selected draft during Sourcing 3 rd stage.
We have made some validations on the PO based on price in the BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI. The PO should not be created if the criteria is not met.
This is working when the user selects - Edit Selected Draft.
However when the user selects Process All Draft/ Process Selected Draft, the error is coming up, however the PO still gets created. There is no hard stop for the PO creation, when the user selects Process All Draft/ Process Selected Draft. Has anyone worked on such a requirement before? Please let us know.
    Thanks, M

To prevent the PO creation, you can put a hard stop error in the same window (SoCo wizard step 3). To do this, you can create an enhancement on the UPDATE method of the mapper class.
In method /SAPSRM/IF_CLL_MAPPER~UPDATE of interface /SAPSRM/CL_CH_WD_DOM_SOCO_GAF3
    SAMPLE CODE:
    <insert validation logic here>
    *add error message
             CALL METHOD mo_cll_message_handler->add_validation_error
               EXPORTING
                 iv_msgno     =
                 iv_msgid      =
                 iv_msgv1     = .
This should display an error on the message window to prevent the user from proceeding to the next step/window. This should fit your requirement.
Let me know should there be any questions.

  • OIM 11gR1 - Request Stuck in "Obtaining Operation Approval"

    Hi Guru,
we are having a problem with oim11gr1, the Request from the user are stuck on "Operation Obtaining Approval" status even though the approval workflow process has complete.
This issue also happened with Request that only use Auto Approval process provided by OIM11gR1, doesn't use custom approval with SOA-BPEL.
Is this a bug in OIM 11gR1? How do we fix this?
    Need help guys.
    Thank you,
    Heri

    Hi Bikash,
We use OIM 11g version 11.1.1.5.0, we haven't apply any patches yet. Do you have recommendation what patch(s) that we should apply?
Not all request with that spesific type, but only for some request (intermittent). Some request that use approval workflow from soa-bpel also sometimes stuck on "Obtaining Operation Approval" or "Request Complete" but doesn't trigger provisioning process.
    Please help.

  • Shopping cart sourcing process in SRM 7.0

    Hi gurus
I want to run a sourcing process in Classic scenario but my question is if it is possible.
    1. Requester creates an SC XX to order a service
    2. The SC goes to Purchasers worklist for sourcing
    3. The Purchaser make an Rfx with data from the SC to different vendors
    4. The vendors log in to create response to the RFx
    5. The Purchaser select the best offer and creates a contract
Now the question is in the following process.
    6. Is it possible for the Purchaser to assign the contract to the original SC XX that was created?
    7. The SC is transferred to backend to create a PO
Hope someone can help me in this issue
    Thanks

    Hi,
No. As SC that you have selected in carry out sourcing would then be used to create RFx.
You have to create new SC & assign contract to it.
SC can be transferred to back end, then it would convert to PR. (depends on configuration).
    I hope it helps.

  • Approval status of PR is in process, but action history show 'Approve'

    Dear all,
I am on EBS 11.5.10.2 and encountered a problem during the approval process of PR.
The approval hierarchy with PR is planner -> approver1 -> approver2,
and approver2 is the final approver.
Everything of the approval process is OK except that the action performed
by approver1 shown in Action History is 'Approve', but not the appropriate
    'Forword'.
Sequence Performed By Action Approval Status
    0 planner Submit
    1 planner Forward In Process
2 approver1 Approve In Process <---- Here the 'Approve' action should be shown as 'Forward'
    3 approver2 Approve Approved
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

    Henry Huang

For requisitions the action taken by the approver is recorded. If they click on Approve, the same is recorded in action history.Shivaraj, for POs with the similar position hierarchy, if the approve1 click on Approve, action history does show 'Forward'.
Do you mean the action taken by the approver1 is different between Requisitions and POs?

  • Exchange 2013 SP1 server working for several months now messages are getting stuck in drafts folder

This a small, simple environment. There is a MS Server 2012 R2 server hypervisor with a MS Server 2012 R2 VM running Exchange 2013 patched to SP1.  This server has been deployed into production and passing mail without issues for several months.
Upon initial deployment, we experienced the issue that many have reported and that has been widely documented where Mail Flow works fine inbound, but outbound will stick in the drafts folder. We resolved the issue by manually configuring the IP Address of
our internal DNS server (which is an installed role on our hypervisior / base layer server).  The issue was immediately resolved and mail was flowing in both directions without issue.  We later installed SP1 and there was no issue.  Mail has
been flowing normally all the while.
Now fast-forward through several weeks of reliable mail delivery... We experienced a power loss and a system shutdown and upon reboot, inbound is working and outbound goes to drafts.  I've confirmed DNS Lookup settings in ECP still points to our internal
server as previously configured.  Both servers have internet access, NSLOOKUP returns expected values, and DNS appears to be working normally.
I'm not sure if we had an MS Update that installed with the reboot that caused the breakage, if there was a lingering settings change that took effect on reboot, or what is causing the interruption.  I'm looking for some fresh ideas on where to look
for answers, and all the information available on the drafts folder issue points to DNS settings that have already been put in place.
Any constructive ideas are welcome!   Thanks in advance.
    David

    Amit,
Long story short, I'm not sure how or why, but there were a few automatic services that were not starting "automatically."  I'm used to seeing some services that are triggered by the application to start and stop on their own, so I didn't necessarily
panic when there were a few automatic services that were stopped..
However, The MS Exchange Health Manager, and the Mailbox Submission services weren't running.  After manually starting the services my drafts folder emptied and we are back in business.. Maybe not "innovative" as you said, but it certainly put us on
the right track.  We were looking so hard at DNS because of all the reported cases of "stuck in drafts" being related to DNS, we totally overlooked the obvious, so THANKS!
Now the only question is, what stopped the services and why did they not restart automatically??

  • Process Controlled Workflow - 1-step approval for shopping cart approval

    Hi,
I have configured a one-level approval for SC (Process Controlled Workflow):
    Object Type: BUS2121
Additional 1 level under schema: 3C_SC_600_000 (the last level is the automatic approval)
    Level Type: Approval with completion
    Eval ID: 0EV_SC_SL1
    RR Name: RR_SPENDING_LIMIT_APPROVER
RR Param: USTONY.Y (I hardcoded it using my user ID, for the moment)
Task ID: 40007953 (I have checked, it's generalized as well)
Decision Type: Item-based decision for entire document
    For PPOMA_BBP:
    Under my org unit (Position):
    Approval Limit: 1000
    Output Limit: 1000
I didn't do any BADI implementations yet.
During creation of SC by other user, before "Order" the SC, the approval preview can show correctly that the Processor is as indicated in the config.
Once the SC is ordered, the whole step is gone and the event linkage becoming delinked (because there is error, and according to the config in SWEQADM).
However, I cannot find the workitem (no workitem generated) and SLG1 does not give any clue whatsoever.
I tried debugging method APPROVAL_LIMIT, and it seems fine as well.
Please help, what did I do wrong here?
    Thanks,
    Tony Y

    Hi Sahil,
I even changed to first process level to:
    Level Type: Approval
    Eval ID: 0EV000
    RR Name: RR_MANAGER
    RR Param: (Blank)
Task ID: 40007953 (I have checked, it's generalized as well)
Decision Type: Decision for entire document
    Under PPOMA_BBP:
I made myself as a head of the org unit with the role manager.
The requester is "Exclude" the role manager.
The agent can be determined now.
But the workitem ID is still cannot be generated. It's always no workitem generated.
    Please everyone, any help?
    Thanks in advance,
    Tony

  • Word stuck in Draft Mode

ONE Word file is stuck in draft mode. It can't be the normal.dotx file because it's not affecting other files. Starting in safe mode doesn't change a thing. All the tricks I've read on various forums about changing the columns etc don't do anything. I even
tried checking the option to allow opens in draft, so that I could then uncheck it (since it was opening in draft even when that open was not checked). Nothing works.
I read in another forum that the only solution is to select the entire contents of the document and save it to Notepad, so that it is txt. Then just start over. I have quite a bit of formatting and I'd rather not, but I guess it won't kill me.
    Any better ideas?

I'm having this problem too. I use Word 2013. I'm tracking changes on this document, so cutting and pasting is not an option.
And yes, I HAVE tried clicking on "View tab | Print Layout". Obviously, that was the first thing I tried. I tried it
many times. I tried closing the file, reopening it, and clicking "View tab | Print Layout". I tried redownloading
the file, opening it, and clicking "View
tab | Print Layout". I tried having the file resent, both as .docx and .doc,, opening it, and clicking "View
    tab | Print Layout".
    It's not in protected view.
Nothing has worked. Please let me know how to fix this.

  • Some mail stuck in drafts after being sent.  Unchecking "keep drafts on server" doesn't stay unchecked

Some of emails get stuck in drafts, even if they've been sent.  When I go to the preferences page and uncheck "keep drafts on server", then save it and exit, when I go back to it, it's checked again!  What am I missing?

But you're only proving that IMAP isn't a valid solution to my problem: I DON'T want my mail treated the same on my Macbook as I do on my iPhone. Here is a great example: I order something from Amazon. I want to keep the order confirmation on my Macbook until the order arrives, which then I can delete it as the order is fulfilled. But after the order, I'd like to know when the order is shipped ASAP, so knowing via my iPhone would be good as well. I would then delete it from the iPhone.
Basically, the iPhone is almost always cleaned out instantaneously. I get an e-mail, I read it, I delete it because the iPhone isn't the ideal platform to manage dozens of e-mails. However, the Macbook is, so I want to keep those messages on the Macbook for however long I need them, which may be days or weeks, while the iPhone I only need as a form of notification.

  • Exchange 2013 issues - (new send email Stuck in Drafts not send)

Exchange 2013 issues - (new send email Stuck in Drafts folder not send)

I am also having this issue.
server 2012 VM with exchange 2013. plenty of resources, more than recommended so cannot be a BAck Pressure issue especially as no clients are connected yet.
In the early stages of setup and testing, mail sent to other mailboxes worked fine in outlook 2007 and OWA but after a few issue that developed and are now resolved, any e-mail send within outlook or OWA just goes straight into the drafts folder.
I tried, DNS setting changes under roles, on the server, on DNS server, MX DNS records, increased resources, looked at received connectors, changed and even deleted send connectors as this is not required for internal mail. Tried changing authentication
types but then outlook won't connect to, staying with Basic Auth.
Have not been able to test inbound e-mail as this is going to replace a production server and is not ready, although I could probably simulate a route from another server and push e-mail to it. Will try tomorrow.
I have spent about 20 hours trying to figure this out and made probably 40 changes. Change, test, rollback etc. Been searching through loads of forums and technet sites all with no help.
All services are started, server has been rebooted several times.
It is also an AD server and has both Exchange roles installed. There is no reason why it should not work. This is so frustrating, we don't have these issues with the now end of life Scalix, or MDaemon or Zimbra. Pity the client wanted a Microsoft solution.
To be honest there are not a lot of things that cannot be changed in ECP although there is more under exchange powershell however I am not familiar with all the commands yet. I have resorted to watching training videos even though I am a seasoned IT Pro, although
not so much with exchange it seems.
I have seen many people have this issue on Exchange 2007, 2010 and 2013. Someone must know how to resolve this or find a work around?
So far I have an expensive solution the client has purchased that I cannot get running properly.
Aside from this issue, I really like the new Server 2012 and new Hyper-V.
I was about to install Exchange Server 2013 on a physical machine due to this f#ckin' issue. But a post for the DNS change has saved my life:

Exactly what product are you using?
    What version of that product?
I believe this question is in the incorrect forum, but I need this information to be able to point you in the right direction.
Also in the future, do not cross post questions to multiple forums as that is against the [Rules of Engagement|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/home/rulesofEngagement]

  • Email stuck in drafts and makes start up disk stuff up..

Ok, Im so not technical but i'd like some help if possible!
I can not delete an email stuck in my drafts folder that i tried to send yesterday. It just hangs there with the beach ball waiting for the images to download that are no longer on my desktop.
Ive done the whole 'command X' and it will not delete it.
It is making all my other email sending not happen.
Ive tried various things on here that have been suggested but in my library folder there is no 'mail' folder.. so where do I go from here
    H E L P

    You can try the following:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the arrow button below the icon.
You need an external drive to connect to a USB port on the computer. The drive needs to be large enough for all the data on the computer's SSD. Clone your SSD to the external HDD.
         1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu then press the Continue
             button.
         2. Select the destination volume from the left side list.
         3. Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
         4. Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag it
             to the Destination entry field.
         5. Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to
             the Source entry field.
         6. Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
Destination means the external backup drive. Source means the internal startup SSD.
If this is successful then select your Macintosh HD volume on the Disk Utility sidebar list.
         1. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
         2. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
Upon completion quit Disk Utility and return to the main Utilities Menu. Select Install OS X option and click on the Continue button. Follow the instructions for installing OS X onto your computer's SSD.
