Pool members with different CPUs

I've installed Oracle VM 3.0.1 on two servers, given them a repository on a Netapp, created a VLAN group in which they both participate without any problems, and things appears to be working well. However, when trying to migrate a virtual server between the two hypervisors, I get a window with no applicable targets, hinting that the AdminServer.log might have more to tell me.
Sure enough, the servers "have CPUs in different compatibility groups": one servers is runnning on Default_Intel_Family:6_model:23_NoNx and the other is Default_Intel_Family:6_Model:15. In addition, I find out to my surprise the second server in the pool is not running with VT enabled in the BIOS (xm info does not list 'hvm' in virt_caps), and to remedy the "NoNx", which I assume means that server does not have the NX extension enabled, reboot the server and fix those things in the BIOS.
However, after booting the server and seeing the member is enabled in the group once again, I still get the same error. After a Rediscover, the entries in the AdminServer.log is the same, even the "NoNx" flag added to the model number. With 'xm info' I can see the changes in the BIOS have been picked up by the Xen core, but apparently the inventory in the management server still has the old CPU information. Question then is, 1) how to update the CPU information 2) How similar do the CPUs need to be to allow live migration? Do they have to be the exact 'model', as one can find in /proc/cpuinfo?

2. They need to be idential, i.e. at least the same family and model. Possibly even stepping, but I'm not sure on that one.Yup, deleting the server and discovering it again resolved the outdated CPU information. And, it turns out the difference in model is sufficient to deny migration.

I recently got a new MacBook Air as a graduation gift. Before, I shared a PC Laptop with my brother. He has his own iTunes account but we both used the same iTunes program. Some of the songs on the old computer were mine, some were his. He's also made a few purchases for me on his account. Anyways, now that I'm trying to get my library onto my new computer, I set up homesharing and tried to get the old music (some mine, some his, some burned by CD's, etc.) All the music I had purchased on my account switched, but when I tried to import the other songs and movies that my brother bought, it said that my new computer wasn't authorized. Is it not possible to have someone else's music from a different account on my computer? I thought that was the purpose of homesharing. Does homesharing only work if it's the same account on several different computers? (PS I am all up to date with my iTunes and my software - I just got the laptop 3 days ago, so everything is brand new and current. I'm pretty sure the iTunes on the other PC computer is up-to-date, but I'm not positive and don't know how to check)
Has this happened to anyone else? Was there any solution that you found? Thank you!

Will they each authorized unit (i pad, computer,iPhone) individually update separately or collectively on a Home Share I-tunes account?

How does this work when i pad #2 (a new (HS) unit who likes Country Western)

Can I share books between family members with different Apple IDs?

I am trying to share books within my family as we were always able to do with home share in iTunes. Is this possible? I can phisically move the book file, but must sign in as my Apple ID on my wire's system, effectively removing her library from her iBooks and replacing it iwth mine. All I want to do is share the book I bought. How can I do this?

Thanks for the link. I looked at this and tried it and it sync'd my wife's iBook with my account, so she now had my Apple ID logged into her iBook. I'd like to be able to share my iBooks with her, but add them to her library as we were able to do with Home Sharing in iTunes. I want her to be able to use her Apple ID with iBooks, but be able to read some of the books I buy on my account. Does that make sense?

Update: It seems as though the phone will charge if I plug it in and then turn it off. It will not charge while the phone is on. Also iTunes will not recognize it, so I can't sync or anything. I read somewhere that it could be a fuse somewhere?? Or maybe the dock connector. Where is the best place to get this repaired?

exactly:) you first gotta transfer the apps from your devices by connecting them and going to file and "transfer purchases" and it should bring the apps over
PS: do make sure that the computer is authorized for all of the purchases do this
-go to store at the very top of the page (usually up there with file,edit,view,and controls)
-choose authorize this computer
-enter the email address and password associated with the purchases you are transferring and hit authorize!!
-quick transfer and done, you guys can share whatver you transfer to the library

2 computers, 5 family members with their own iTunes accounts. How do we share purchased iTunes and downloaded CDs with homeshare? (I can't get my old iPod music to all go onto my iPad)

I have 2 computers - Windows Based
My husband, myself and the kids all have our own "accounts" on the home computer. This was done to limit certain access when the kids were younger.
The laptop is pretty much mine. I use both computers for my iTunes music.
Everyone has their own iTunes account for their music and games. I have been able to get music purchased by my other family members on my iPod in the past if I logged in the home computer under their IDs and attached my iPod. Or, if a family member downloaded a CD, I could get that music thes same way without having to download the CD again under my own login ID. However, I now have an iPad, and I can't transfer music from the iPod to the iPad - specifically that which was downloaded from CDs - not iTunes. And I couldn't get it to go from my iPod to my laptop, although both are authorized computers in the Home Sharing.
It doesn't seem like the Home Sharing works with the different computer login IDs. The iTunes is universally available regardless of who is logged in, but the libraries vary based on who's user name you are under. I have strugged with importing from one User ID to another, which led me to simply log in under a different family member to get the desired music. There has got to be an easier answer and I'm just not figuring it out.
I've read the support answers, I've read many of the other responses here as well to those with similiar questions, but I am still struggling.
Any suggestions?

If you are completely confident that you didn't hide it, then you purchased those with different apple id. If you completely confident that you purchases with same apple id then you have hidden it. One of the other or you are speaking about a miracle. While miracles are possible they are not very likely. Remember

Cube with different reports data

We have 3 different Reports based on a Multi which has only one Infocube.
We have new design policy that any New different report that needs to be created should be based only on this Multi and all data should be loaded only into this only infocube on which this Multi is based.
So for the existing 3 reports,we have three different database views in source database.Fullload will be done from source every weekend(previous week's request will be deleted every week) of snapshot data into three different DSOs from these three different datasources.(Its new policy that every report should have its own DSO ).All these 3 DSOs should be connected to only one cube on which our reporting Multiprovider is based.So from these 3 DSOs,data will be loaded into cube in fullload every weekend(previous week's request will be deleted)
Now my question is:
1.when all the data is going to cube from three different views and DSOs(with different keyfigures but some same characteristics in 3 DSOs),how can our 3 different reports pick data that is relevant for it when all data is pooled together in one big cube?Doesnot aggregation happens?
(When a report is run,does OLAP processor goes into cube and picks only those keyfigures and characteristics in cube thats relevant for that report and by that way,avoids other data??)
2.I need to create one new report.For this I need to create one new view and one new DSO.So,data will be loaded from view to DSO and this DSO will be connected to existing cube(new dataflow until cube from source view).But our cube doesnot contain one keyfigure.It contains all other characteristics and keyfigures from DSO.

It will depend on what Key Figures you are displaying in your report. If a KF is coming from only 2 DSOs, data from those 2 DSOs will be displayed. And you are right in saying that OLAP processor will pick only releavnt KFs and Characteristics but it will not filter based on characteristic value e.g. if a characteristis is coming only from DSO 1 and not from DSO2, but KF is coming from both, so for the data in DSO 2 that characteristic will be displayed as #. If you want to filter data, you can put filters in the report.
Another good option can be to store the DSO name as a characeteristic in your cube, it might be helpful if you want to make a reprot based on data from a particular DSO, then you can put the filter based on DSO name.

You are adding a new KF which is coming only from new DSO, so you do not need to worry about a lot of things, you can move your changes to procudtion and load data from this new DSO. Data which is already there in the cube will not be impacted.

Define Multiple Taxes with different Accounts

I have defined tax in Oracle R12 . and defined multiple rates. these all tax deducted in a single Tax account. but my requirement is, there should be multiple taxes with different acccounts. when I define multiple taxes the system gives error unable to Calculate the tax. when I only enable one tax it works.

Names of level members with or without hashmark are identical (A=#A, a1=#a1 etc.).

[Hierarchy].[L1]*[Hierarchy].[#L1] returns all possible combination of the two hierarchies.
Here I would filter those cases only, where [Hierarchy].[L1].MEMBER
= [Hierarchy].[#L1].MEMBER, in aggregated format (Query1 result).

we have uses ABAP OO and Classic Dypros in our current projekt a lot.
It turned out to be the best way to it like this:
1. Create your Dynpro
2. Create an Interface that corresponds only to that Dynpro.
3. In the Modules of the dynpro you only call Methods from that interface created above, also all checks of Dynprofields etc should be handled in the Implelmentation of the methods. so you do like that:
Module set_vbeln.
gi_dynp_class->set_vbeln( gs_sd-vbeln ).
endmodul.
gi_dynp_class is from type of your interface.
4. Create an application class that implements all the methods of the interface with the logic needed. Using inheritance you can easily reuse the the Dynpro in different contexts with different Application classes behind it.
5. In PBO of the dynpro you have to make sure that the the variable gi_dynp_class is bound. So you will cast your application class instance to it:
gi_dynp_class ?= gi_app_class.
The application class must be instanciates at the beginning of the program before the dynpro is used.
As a class can implement several interface you can enable you application class for as many dynpros as you want to.

Two tables with different filter values base on a analysis

let assume that I have a analysis with columns : group_id and sales.
Based on it I would like to create two tables : table1 where group_id =1 and table2 where group_id = 2.
Is OBIEE capable of doing it?

You can do that in single analysis, but you need to have the group_id column two times.
That is, bring group_id_1, group_id_2 (same column), sales
Now in table 1,
bring group_id_1, sales
Then in selection steps for group_id_1 -> Select Members -> Action choose keep only -> choose the filter value 1
This will filter the table 1 with group_id 1
In table2 bring group_id_2, sales
Then do the same step for group_id_2 with value 2.
now in same report you have two reports with different filter.
If you want you can keep the same column name for both group_id columns, I just kept group_id_1, group_id_2 for easy reference.

Crosstab with different users in JSP

I need to switch the content of a crosstab in JSP depending on the user accessing it, i.e. some users see more dimension members while other users see less. Can anyone advise a good way of accomplishing this?
Please note that I have managed to implement this fine grain security control in Analytic Workspace. I have also tested this in JDeveloper using the wizard with different database connections containing different username and password. They seem to work all right.
I want to bring this into JSP using the orabi tag containing BISession and ThinCrosstab. I have been trying metadataManager, connection and query etc. but have made a mess. Everytime I switch the connection I lose the thincrosstab. Can anyone provide some codes to show how to accomplish this? Thanks.

I have looked at the forecast sample and did what you have suggested. The executeCommand works when I pass in an OLAP DML PERMIT command. However there is still a major problem. For example, if I have A, B, C, D selected in the crosstab as dimension members and my PERMIT command only allows the user to see A and B. I may get the following result with crosstab:

The user can only use the dollar amount assoicated with A and B which is right. However C and D still show even though they do not contain any dollar amount. Worse still, if I have not selected A and B originally in the crosstab, the user cannot see A nor B at all. The problem is not only do I need to determine what to put in the PERMIT command, I also need to know what to include in the "Selection" object of the crosstab so that the user will see all the members he/she is allowed to see.
If I already know what to pass into the "Selection", the permit command seems redundant. This makes my search for a solution of fine grain security control coming to a full circle. I end up where I started from.
I was looking for a solution which does not require me to pass in dimension members programmatically into the crosstab, and that the security control is not done on the application level, i.e. something akin to what can be achieved using VPD in relational database. I have been trying VPD in relational cube and Permit command in Analytic Workspace. They deliver what they claim to do in their respective environments. However, whatever I do in VPD seems useless in AW and whatever I do in AW do not seem to be very useful in BI Beans either. Would you please correct me if I am wrong? I would imagine someone must have this common requirement before and I wonder how they would fix it.
I am still very confused about how Oracle implements fine grain security as the security in different layers (ie. relational cube, AW and BI Beans) do not seem to gel together. Thanks.

but we have other reports that come from other machines with different odbc connection
and this its not working when opens the report asks for credentials
and i cannot use the remote ip for these reports that come from other machine
question
if i cannot connect to remote ip to open the report
for each report i have to create a database the report database on my machine and then open the report ?
or there is some other way to open the report ?
