Poor Capture Options. Can't Log Clips. Cheap Samsung ... but still ... :(

My Samsung DV Camera isn't the best .. but at least I should be able to "Capture" the footage.
Even with "Scene Detect" Off .. the tape will not continuously load. Maybe it's a crappy camera .. but why can't I just get the footage off it?
I try to set the out point ( which I can only go sec / minute / frames at a time .. which sucks ) .. and then when I try the "In / Out" Capture .. it still stops and asks to save the clip.
All I want is the tape to play thru.
I try the transport .. and it is unresponsive .. so I have to use the cameras buttons.
I bought it to loan out to friends so I don't have to give up my good camera.
The same tape plays and captures in my good Sony.

I'm not familiar with Samsung cameras and whether you need to have it in a certain remote capture setting, but most firewire capture issues I've had in the past were due to bad cables or a flaky port on the device. Two Sonys I've dealt with in the past few years needed to have new fw ports installed, a not-cheap repair.

I just got billed for a $113 phone bill, all because of data. I don't travel, so it isn't roaming. Can I turn off cellular data but still text? I have free texting (plan) so I want to be able to text without wifi, but whenever I go onto games or anything without wifi, it says "turn on cellular data" or something similar, with two options (Okay, and Settings) I tap okay and exit the game, but it still charges me and it turns cellular on for the game. I don't want to continue getting charged for cellular games and such, but I still want texting. Is there anyway to get that?

Next time click Settings. Clicking OK is telling the message that you want to "turn on Cellular Data".
And again, did you look in Settings>Cellular under the "Use Cellular Data" section to see if your games show up in that list?

There's no way to delete all message threads at one go. You can however do one contact thread at a time.
In Messages app where you see a list of messages from different contacts, tap Edit (top left), tap the red (on the left), then tap the red Delete button on the right.

If you updated your existing account then try logging out of it on the phone by tapping on the id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app and then log back in with the updated version and see if that then shows when trying to download updates.
If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can download updates to its apps.

Can't log in, trackpad works but can't click on anything

My Macbook Pro will turn on but i can't log in. The trackpad and keyboard work (ie I can move the cursor) but nothing happens when i double click on my ID, the screen is frozen.
Turned it on and off already. Doesn't help.
Any idea how to fix this?

How can I stream music via AirPlay but still have an internet connection?

Ive just bought an Airplay speaker but I seem to be missing something here as I can't figure out how to stream my audio on my iPhone to the AirPlay speaker but still use the internet by either WiFi or 3G at the same time. I stream all my music using iTunes Match or Spotify.
There are volume buttons, a power button and wifi button on the AirPlay speaker. The instructions state to press the wifi button for a few seconds then it will appear as a wifi connection on other devices. And so it does. It comes up in my wifi list on my iPhone and on my Mac too. So as it suggests, I connect to the speaker's wifi connection, and if I go to the Control Centre, AirPlay gives me the option to choose the speaker and it connects to it fine. It streams music that's locally on my iPhone, but when I try to connect to Spotify, stream something using iTunes Match or just use the internet on my phone, there's absolutely no connection. Of course it seems to be using the speaker as the primary and only connection to the internet.
If I try to connect back to my home wifi network, I get my internet connection back, but lose connection to the AirPlay speaker! It just disappears altogether. So what am I doing wrong here?
I've tried the same on my Mac but having the exact same problem. Can anyone please advise me where I'm going wrong?
Other notes: I am using a Virgin Media Superhub 2 with dual band 2 and 5 GHz connection options, Technika AirPlay Speaker, iPhone 5S and a MacBook Pro.

You're not setting things up properly. You need to first connect this speaker to YOUR network, not create a network using the speaker. I suspect there is a setup menu for this speaker to do so. Check the documentation or the maker's web site for instructions.

Quit iBooks and restart the iPad and then try the book again.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

I can successfully log into this website but when i try to open messages or test results from the menu I am immediately kicked out saying session timed out.

I called the customer support line for website. They had me try to open using Internet Explorer, and it works perfectly fine.
I recently changed from Windows 7 to Windows 8, and am back to Windows 7 again via system recovery discs. I did not have this problem with the website using Firefox prior to switching and switching back. Is there some sort of security setting that I am missing? I am not having any problems using other login and password protected sites that I use.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Your Mac is running 10.5.8 or later and iTunes 10?
You are connecting the iPad direct to a USB port on your Mac and you have tried every port?
You have reinstalled the Apple Mobile Device Service?

Can i change my apple ID but still keep my purchases like music, series etc.

i have had an apple id for a very long time but the email i signed up with got hacked and strangly i could still purchase stuff from itunes even though i cant access the email itself from hotmail . i would like to change my apple id to a new email and still keep my purchases from the old hotmail email is that possible if yes how ? and if no are there any other suggestions that might help me with this situation ?

You should be able to update the primary email address on your account either by logging into via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes (there should be an Edit button to the right of your id at the top of your account's page), or via this page : http://appleid.apple.com - if you have any iOS devices you might then need to log out of your account on them by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in with the updated version for the account to be 'refreshed' on them. Updating the primary email address on an account shouldn't lose any of its purchases.
If you create a new iTunes account then all of your existing content will remain tied to your existing account, you can't transfer content between accounts.
