Poor Follow up Procedure on Apple Store

I bought a Ipod nano on 16 Sept via Apple Store and I received it on 19 Sept. But when I used the new ipod to listen my music, its output has problem that sound output with noiscy. So I called Apple to solve it. I need to call different phones number by myself to open approval the ipod problem, service ticket, arrange re-delivery. End up Apple need to wait to receiving back the poor quality IPOD, and then START to arrange re-deliver the new one to me. This IPOD is for my wife's gift. Because The IPOD's quality is poor and procedure problem, I need to wait to more two weeks and buy another gift to my wife. Even the CS of apple said they will call me back for follow up my case yesterday, I still do not get any call from Apple CSby noon.

no but it may come with the new firmware 1.1.1 and also if you use it for something other then AT&T you will not have a warranty, it may also not allow any changes. Just buy it and use AT&T like the rest of us so we don't have to hear you complain when you break your phone.

    I am having problems connecting to wifi at home with my new IPhone 5.  I got it replaced today at the Apple Store after dealing with a rude customer service person yesterday and today.  They simply would not listen to me explain all the troubleshooting I have done.  I also have an Apple Airport Extreme base station router, Macbook Air, two IPads, IMac and my husband's IPhone 5 on this wifi system with no problems.  After talking to Apple Care yesterday, they told me to go to the store today to exchange my phone.  The customer service person argued with me that I would have the same problems even if I exchanged the phone.  This has been a very frustrating experience and after being a loyal "Apple" geek for many years, I'm seriously thinking about returning my IPhone 5 and getting a Samsung Galaxy S3!  This is totally unacceptable!  Tech support at Apple Care was great yesterday and that person actually listened to me unlike the two individuals at the Apple Store in Leawood, KS.  How do I file a complaint about the hassles at the Apple Store?

    I purchased my MacBook today around 2:00PM and someone broke my car window around 2:30 and stole my MacBook. I think they followed me from the Apple store, because they took nothing but the new computer in the package. Any suggestions on how to find the criminals? I went back to the store and purchased another one... My credit card company tells me that its loss protection does not cover anything stolen from a car!     Unfortunately, the only way to beat this kind of thing is to have set up some variation on lojack for laptops before the theft. There are several varieties of that, mostly relying on having the machine phone home as soon as it's connected to the internet. (Machines with built-in cameras, such as MacBooks, can even take pictures of the thief and phone home with them...) In order to do that, of course, the machine must know where home is, which means that you must set it up. A brand new, still in the box, machine won't be set up yet.

    Go into compositionReady and have 3 variables you will be able to set them like this
    strike1 = 0;
    strike2 = 0;
    strike3 = 0;
    So on the wrong item click have

    So this will make it so when the wrong item is clicked each strike will be played in order.
    Random Scrolling -
    You should look into the Math.Random function to make things random in edge.

    So we can create another variable in compositionReady for the lose score.

    To edit a text with the score at the end which I'm assuming you will want to do you will use .html

    Why are you using a usb ethernet adaptor? Just plug the modem into the usb port.

    Also try settings>general>reset>reset all settings
    If you have followed that article and restored your phone and set it up as new and you're still having that issue you may call and explain you followed the article and are still having the problem. Most likely they will either set up a replacement for you. If they ask you to set up the one time phone support agreement, and they assist you with a restore again, they won't bill you if they end up having to repair it.

    Check the console app to see if there are any error messages. I had one app showing an issue (Pet Hotel) the error was (truncated):

    I manually snyc'ed that particular app and then re-ran the restore and am now the proud owner of a working iphone. Not sure it is the same problem or app but looking in the console was the key!

    Found this in the forums here, it works.
    "OK...I think I have found a solution.  In settings, select tunes & app store.  click on Apple ID> View Apple ID>Payment Information. It appears it is not saving or requiring payment information to be updated. This worked for me."

    Choose the method for:
    "Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".
    If this does not help, take the computer to the Apple store to have it checked out
    and repaired, if needed.

    The warranty is only valid in the country where you bought the phone. To get it serviced by Apple, you'll have to bring it back personally, Apple does not ship internationally.
    If you can't bring it back to Apple in Canada, your only other chance is to search for a 3rd party repair shop. An Authorized Apple Service Provider in your country will not service the phone, sorry.

    Thanks for the reply.
    I did read the help and went through the tutorial - the butterfly text wrap (and the wrap around the curved contour of the bicycle wheel at the Apple store) is the reason I am asking this question.  I don't know how to use one of my own pictures and tell Pages what contour to wrap around.  Is there some additional image editing software that I need to "creatively crop" one of my own pictures, so that Pages will be able to wrap around that contour?

  • HT201270 I have followed the instructions provided in this article but none of them worked. I even tried getting a new sim, still my phone network goes no service most of the time. There is no apple store in Philippines and I feel so helpless.

    I live in the Philippines but my iPhone 4S was bought from Korea. There is no Apple store in my place and no one can help me fix my problem with my iPhone. I don't think Apple would replace my phone either despite the fact that it's still under warranty.
    My phone would normally go on "No Service" status since I updated to iOS 5.1, so I am not able to make/receive phone calls/messages most of the time. It's really frustrating especially because my iPhone is just 3 months old.
    Can anyone help me with my problem?
    - I have restored my iPhone's OS and didn't do any back up
    - Did reset network, reset all settings, among other resets available in my phone
    - Used a new sim card from my network provider
    - Used sim card from other network provider (since my phone is factory unlocked)
    All the abovementioned didn't work and I'm getting really frustrated.I never had this problem when I was using iPhone 4.

    Sounds like it's hardware issue. The iPhone warranty is based in the original country of purchase. Since it was bought in Korea you will need to ship the phone to someone you know in Korea to be taken in and then they will have to ship it back to you. The cost of shipping will be at your expense.

    I was bought a Mac book pro as a birthday gift from the Apple Store in Leicester, after completing the initial set up procedure, I noticed that  the trash bin was full of some one's entire photo collection from 2003 to 2011.
    This is entirely unacceptable for Apple: How long have Apple been fobbing of consumers who believe they were genuinely purchasing a 'new' Mac book?
    How is it that I have someones entire photo collection on my 'branch new Mac Book Pro' - these photos included wedding photo's, birthday celebrations, family celebrations and children. Its a serious breach of data protection, it's an invasion of some poor persons privacy and private photo collection. What concerns me the most, is what could have happened if those photo's had fallen into the wrong hands. We managed to trace, locate and contact the person who the photo's belong to within 10 mins using information taken from their wedding album.
    Understandably these people are also very distressed that their personal photos are on my brand new Mac Book pro.
    I would like details of who to contact in regards this incident.
