Poor quality song from ITunes store

I purchased a song from the ITunes store recently. I has a lot of static in it. All the rest of my music on ITunes is fine. Can Apple send me a better copy or a I stuck with this one?

In itunes...preferences you can change the setting to import songs instead of mp4 to mp3. Afer changing this setting, right click to the songs and than you are able to convert to mp3. ths's it

Error -50 when trying to purchase songs from itunes store

When I try to purchase songs from itunes store I get error -50 or the message that their is not internet connectivity (which is not the case).
Any suggestions for a way to fix this?

I downloaded one song from itunes store yesterday. I accomplished it accidentally. Does anyone know how to easily download one song directly to ipod.

Thanks for your response. I downloaded a "free" tv show from itunes and it definitely does NOT work on my ipod. Tried it out on two different computers. Also tried another purchased tv show from itunes I had bought. Says it's wrong format. Just tried streamclip software and the m4v is not even a compatible file for the software. Help!
All video content purchased through the iTunes Store
is compatible with the iPod. I would suspect that
it is your video podcasts that are a problem. They
probably need to be converted to an iPod compatible
format before they can be transferred to the iPod.
I would try using software such as MPEG Streamclip to
convert your incompatible video files.

The song starts normally but it ends after 7 seconds.
It is the new song from Kid Ink (Show me feat. Chris Brown).
I bought the whole album and one song doesn´t work. I am a little bit upset.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".

Can't open purchased songs from itunes store

I downloaded songs from itunes store a while back. My laptop crashed and now i have a small ASUS eee pc with a 4gb hard drive. I have windows XP SP1 and cannot upgrade to SP2 (not enough room on my HD). i had to get an older version of itunes that's compatible with SP1. I can see the songs that I purchased but when I click on them it asks for password to authorize, then i enter it and then it says 'this computer is already authorized.' So now, what do I do? Help!!! I want the songs I bought!

Was your backup copy stolen as well?
If so, you can try e-mailing itunes support to see if they will make an exception, although they are under no obligation to do so.

iTunes Match says "Matching your music with songs from iTunes store". This will not finish. I cannot put any new songs on iTunes Match. This started today. It was working fine. I have deleted my entire library and I can't even get one song to go through. Thoughts? I've been working with this all day. I have uninstalled iTunes, downgraded iTunes, upgraded iTunes again. I think your right that it is not completely impossible to match any song, although I have tried several songs from several different albums and none have worked so far. The weird thing is is that I have the same Match account on two different computers, and when I match a song on one and it gets stuck, I can see it in my library on the other computer but its greyed out. Not sure what that means. It has worked perfeclty for me since I got it in March, so I'm hoping whatever it is gets sorted out by Apple. If it starts working for any of you please let me know in this discussion!

You can transfer iTunes purchases from your iPod to a computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
If the purchased music is not on your computer or iPod and you are in the USA and have iTunes 10.3 you may be able redownload them via the iCloud Beta by:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
If not in the USA you can contact the iTunes people and they MAY allow a redownload.
