Poor service in 75248 zip code

Whats up with the terrible disconnections and overall poor performance in the 75248 zip code area?  All of my neighbors have the same bad opinion of uverse.  I am really close to just switching back to time warner cable and paying your disconnect fee that should be deemed as theft given your lack of ability to provide a reliable conenctions. No one in the neighborhood is happy with their service.....here is an example of complaints from our neighborhood facebook page.  I don't really need a response....just a resolution to the terrible service.   http://imgur.com/XTF5T1l

I understand your cost concerns bamamac! The nature of our service (radio signal) presents many factors outside of our control that may impact signal (sometimes greatly). The Network Extender is a one time investment that can resolve indoor service issues at your home with the assistance of your internet service. While it is not guaranteed that this will resolve the issue, you can returned the device within 14 days if it does not work to your satisfaction.

  • Serious service failure in zip code 70119 / 70122 at the New Orleans Jazz Fest Weekend 1

I experienced total service failure in zip code 70119 & 70122 at the New Orleans Jazz Fest.  No send / receive of data, voice or text.  I use an iPhone 5s running the latest OS.  I had better service during all hurricanes, except Katrina, of course.  The only evidence I have of this are screenshots of pinwheeling texts and Facebook posts.  Oh, and I have a very ****** off wife for not being able to contact me.  This was a first, but it was a weekend-long frustrating affair.  Please address this before next weekend's Jazzfest.  I'm not the only Verizon customer pinwheeling.

  • How to I report poor LTE service coverage in zip code 94403?

I have a Jackpot, a home router and 2 iphone 5 in my house and 4G is slower than 3G or sometimes not loading any data. I just moved to this area so I don't know how long it's been this way. I made numerous phone calls to the Verizon service and tried all trouble shootings suggested on similar discussions here. This router is not a mobile device and it's been sitting at home not working and I cannot pay for the service I am not using. I'm about to cancel my home plan since there's no improvement whatsoever after my phone calls. Please don't respond with same repeated solutions that didn't work. Let me know what you can actually do to fix the problem on your end. My devices are perfectly normal in other areas. Thank you.

bimil0 Reliable coverage is a must! We apologize for the issues you have experienced with service in your new area. Our goal is to provide the best solution and keep you as a happy customer. You mentioned that you have called us and completed all troubleshooting, have you also had a network ticket filed?

  • How do I report poor service in zip code 22845 Virginia?

My iPhone 5 has spotty service at best in the region 22845. My phone generally says 1x or 3g with one bar but overall won't send messages.

You've come to the right place for help, gdhokie. It looks like that zip code is right at the border of Virginia and West Virginia and the terrain in the area may cause some service difficulties. How long have you experienced these issues? Try entering your address into www.vzw.com/maps to check coverage for your area. Our Network Extender http://vz.to/IHRT6h would help for service at your home.

  • Disgusted with poor service!!

4G LTE?? What is that??  I live in Grand Canyon national park, and 3G service is all we get.  And that has gotten progressively worse over the last 2.5 years, to the point where it it only functions approximately 50-60 percent of the time.
Because our local internet provider no longer offers any new accounts that are above minimum speed, I am forced to rely on this for internet service.  I pay a small fortune for data, but yet I can not upload photos, and forget about watching videos. (I tried to watch a two minute 30 second video recently, and gave up after 19 minutes- only 45 seconds of the video had played- the rest was buffer time!!)  Even attempts at doing the simplest things take multiple tries.
My 3G serivce was excellent up until that point.  What happened Verizon??  And why do you refuse despite numerous complaints to check into the situation?  The problem is not either of my phones - they work excellent elsewhere- for instance, in Flagstaff and Williams.  It is clearly your service.
I'm tired of paying the same data rates as someone in any major city with excellent service. And I'm tired of not being able to go back to school because of poor internet connections.  Do I need to contact the FCC??

        @janeybrad
I can definitely understand your concerns with your wireless signal issue!  I would love to assist you with this issue.
You mentioned you live in Grand Canyon National Park.  I have visited there once before, and I must say this has to be one of the most beautiful places in our country!  I'd like to review coverage in your area.  Can you provide me a cross street or nearest mappable intersection and zip code?  What model device are you using?  Are you experiencing this problem indoors, outdoors or both?  Please let me know so that I may further assist.  Thanks!

  • No longer get a Signal. My zip code is 32421 in NW Florida

My zip code is 32421 in NW Florida, Just about the middle of the map, just below Interstate 10. I have been with Verizon since it took a portion of ALLTEL, was with Alltel since they took over another company and was with that company when they took over one. I have not personally changed providers in at least 15 years or more. My problem now is that my signal strength has become almost nonexistent where I have always been all these years. It seems like the fall of 2013 I had good signal but it started dropping. I finally change from a Motorola Maxx (I think it was) and now my wife has a Samsung Galaxy S3 and I have the S4. The other 2 phones on our contract (grandkids) both Apple 4's have the same problem. My son and his wife, who live next door and with Verizon also have the same problem and timeline. It is like a tower(s) have been out of commission for a while. My phone roams at times while in the house. If I have my phone set to announce when it loses the network or regains the network, it became to irritating to have to hear it. At one point we could almost use our cell phones exclusively at home. Now we are bound to landlines. I've never had any problem with Verizon but have become quite upset during the last 6 months to the point of trying something different when our contract expires. We are no longer getting the service we were getting with earlier contracts. Please help. Tell us what we can do or what Verizon is going to do to check this out.

The signal is ever so slightly higher outside as would be expected, but still not high enough, often enough to be depended on. In fact it is more prone to roam when stepping out of the house than inside. I have to drive several miles Northwest (approximately 7 miles) towards the intersection of Interstate 10 and SR 71 in the panhandle of Florida, just south of the town, Marianna. When heading east on SR 286 from SR69, through the Ochessee area to I-10 and then heading east for about 10 miles from the Apalachicola River are several dropout areas of low to no signal, but since we're moving it is for a very brief period of time. Getting back to my house though, the service that I had as late as last summer, both inside and out, has significantly declined.  Just based on my driving from my house, it seems that a tower North of me has dropped. You can find these roads on Google maps, in fact you can find them by zooming in on the Verizon Coverage map, find Tallahassee in North Florida and follow Interstate 10 to the west for about 50 miles. The problem seems to be from SR 286 to SR 69 then to SR71. Along a stretch about 17 miles south of Interstate 10 in between these 3 intersections is where the problem seem most prevalent.
I'm not sure what you meant by follow and send a private message. The only option I see for me is "Reply". Please excuse my ignorance.

  • Which SSN/Billing Zip Code do I use for the iPhone I plan to purchase

I plan to buy a new iPhone 4S on Amazon, and then use a friend's SIM card to activate it. But I heard there was an activation stage that requires the last 4 numbers of SSN and Billing Zip code. So whose SSN and Billing Zip Code would I use? Do I use the friend's or what?

There was nothing in the activation step that asked for anything about your SSN number.  Setting up service with a carrier will ask that, as they run a credit check, but simply activating a device in iTunes does not require any SSN information.
If you are setting up service with a carrier, you will need your own SIM anyway, and they will require your billing information and address.  You cannot use someone else's SIM to set up cellular service for yourself.

  • Verizon pulls out of zip code 49636

What recourse do I have if Verizon decided to shut down service to a tower that I use in zip code 49636?
I've been having problems with their on/off service since September 2010 and since purchased numerous new Droid phones, a new wireless card for my laptop.  After multiple calls to their technical support over the last 8 months, all problems eventually got resolved by updated PRL updates, being taken off Hybrid mode, etc.  Now NONE of my 5 phones or my wireless card, or my wifes phone and card or anyone else with Verizon has service.
5 calls into Technical Suport at Verizon and I finally got one guy (Zack) to tell me straight they pulled out service from their downtown Glen Arbor, MI tower and there is nothing they can do.
Am I simply screwed with no service?  Can we get them to re-install service at their State Street tower?  I can see the darn thing from my home, but "no service available".
Thank you in advance for your help.  Had I known this none of the 5 phone on my plan (or my wireless card) would have been renewed.

You should have had at least had extended network available.
Can you go to a location that Verizon remained and update your phone with the programming *228, option 1 and then option 2.
If ATT truly did shutdown the towers (I agree with Budone that they shouldn't have done so.), you won't be able to program with *228 in an area without native Verizon towers.
The Alltel assets in the area may not have begun the process to rebrand into Verizon yet. They have to wait until ATT has finished their transition completely.
I have noticed that zipcodes in my area that were sold to ATT no longer go to the transition website when I try and use those zipcodes as my home area on the Verizon website. Based on that, they might be moving into the next step and should be starting the rebranding process in the next few months.

  • Where do you get the meial address to complain about really poor service

Where do i get the email address to complain about very very poor service in Bristol uk

I found the address and phone numbers!
I called 408-996-1010.  You'll have to add the country code if you want to call this number.  They told me to write to:
    Apple, Inc.
    Attn: Corporate Relations
    1 Infinity Loop
    Cupertino, CA 95014
I did at the begining of March.   I receved a call from an Apple rep at the end of March, the  caller left me a voice mail.  I called returned the call withn 5 min left him a voice mail and never heard back from them.
    Best of luck!

  • Zip Code Lookup

    Hi guys,
Ok, I've had a project dumped on me that is ridiculously
complicated given my level of ability. I've explained to them that
I am NOT the guy for this. They're in a real jam though, so while
they're trying to find someone else I told them I'd see what I can
    do.
Basically, it's a political action page. You watch a short
flash video, then click a button to send email to the candidates
running to represent you. It's been built (kind of) using PHP by
someone else, but has so many bugs (and I don't know anything about
PHP) that I think my only hope is to try and re-write the whole
thing in Coldfusion (which I know the basics of).
Thankfully the mySQL database is already done and working. I
just need to build the pages. The real sticking point: on the "tell
a candidate" page, they want a user to fill out their street
address, click a button, and have the application automatically
find their full zipcode and then display a page listing the
candidates running to represent that district (this is limited to
    one state, thank god).
I can handle the database-driven stuff to return email links
for their candidates (I think)... but how can I use Coldfusion to
find a person's full zipcode based on their street address?
Thanks for ANY ideas... the more dumbed-down the better!
    Joe

It's no big deal, StearmanDriver. You already have a good
    solution. Yahoo!
All you have to do is
    get a
Yahoo App ID. You can then use it with, for example, the cfhttp
tag to get the zip code. The service is free, too.
Suppose your Yahoo App ID is
    vmuNNhtDEr32Ms8pmwEyvoAdClQQabcploMMth2iY_GXMK456Mruav56P09iuQk7.BBFtC--.
(This is a fake ID I've just created to illustrate the process. But
it is similar to the one Yahoo will send you.) Suppose also that
you wished to know the zip code of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in
    Commercial Street, Portland, Maine.
The result, cfhttp.FileContent, is a short XML document.
However, it gives you more bang for your buck
(see actual result below). It includes, besides the zip, the
latitude and longitude of the place.
To get the zip code, simply parse the XML. The complete code
is something like the one below.
    actual result, cfhttp.fileContent:
    <?xml version="1.0" ?>
    <ResultSet xmlns:xsi="
    http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xmlns="urn:yahoo:maps" xsi:schemaLocation="urn:yahoo:maps
    http://api.local.yahoo.com/MapsService/V1/GeocodeResponse.xsd">
    <Result precision="address">
    <Latitude>43.657646</Latitude>
    <Longitude>-70.250313</Longitude>
    <Address>65 Commercial St</Address>
    <City>Portland</City>
    <State>ME</State>
    <Zip>04101-4703</Zip>
    <Country>US</Country>
    </Result>
    </ResultSet>

  • Cannot update CC info--says zip code is wrong but won't save!!

I just moved and when I went to buy a song in itunes it said my zip code doesn't match the bank info. So I go into my account and update the info with my new address so it matches my bank info and I press done and go back to buy a song and it gives me the same message. When I go back into my account again, my old address is there. This happens NO MATTER WHAT I DO--I tried adding a new CC, tried switching my payment info to Paypal. Whatever I do, it says it takes it, but if I go to buy a song, it goes back to my old account info. WHAT DO I DO??? I have been trying to buy this one song for 30 minutes!~!

I would try emailing iTunes store customer service:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/browser/
I would try switching your Payment Method to "none" and then signing out of your account completely (Store menu > Sign Out). Then, sign back in and go to enter your CC info again. You might want to contact your financial institution to see if they've switched your billing address over in their systems yet. If they goofed something, it might explain why iTunes is rejecting your info.

  • Poor service in middle of supposed good area? Zipcode 95204.

k I have been living at this address 8 months now. I hoped service would improve but its been getting worse. I consistently get about 0.67mbps down and like 0.05mbps up not kidding. I sometimes get as high as 5mbps down and 1mbps up. About 2 miles both north or south from here I get 70mbps down and 30mbps up.
What the heck is going on in zip code 95204? I live literally 300 yards from interstate 5 this is a joke. I can provide my address if needed help?

    Hi,
I'm new to BT and so far I have had problems too.
Regarding your socket, don't think you would have a fire risk with telephone lines, the voltage is quite low and almost zero current, so I wouldn't worry about that.
Yes a local engineer could probably sort you out no problem, but you could always buy your own socket and fit it regardless of what BT say. Just a few pounds from Ebay, you could also get a socket with a built-in filter. There should only be 2 active wires comming in to the socket, there may be six in total, but just make a note of which wires are currently connected and where they are connected and just exchange the socket.
Just a side note, not sure if you have upgraded to fibre (you say an upgrade from 16m to 32m), but surely a BT/Openreach/Kellycommunications engineer came out to you then? They should have because they would normaly changed the socket and check the wiring anyway. Maybe you have some other type of upgrade!
Do you know how far you actually are from the local exchange?
    Hope you get it sorted.

  • TS1646 I have entered my ZIP code correctly but it's five digits long and the Store "corrects" it to the nine-digit version, which my bank doesn't recognize.

I tried calling the support line for this and got hung up on, but the only thing wrong here is what the iTunes Store is doing--"correcting" my five-digit ZIP code to a nine-digit version my bank doesn't recognize. It's not like I'm going to change my correct billing address for this, so what do I do?

Have your bank put the full 9-digit zipcode into your records. The postal service doesn't require them, but they prefer them. It's very common to have the zipcode changed by online vendors to assist in shipping.
The problem is with your bank. Their software should know better.

  • ZIP code format for each country in SAP

Please provide me the way to retrieve ZIP code format for each country in SAP.....

    Well Yash
You might have noticed the checking rules in the same place. They are the ones which is used for checking formats. I don't know which internal table  (I doubt if there is one) holds the format data per country.  There are formal format checks for few specific countries like Canada, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, South Korea, and Portugal and I guess they are hardcoded.  Another thought is that Regional Structure Group related tables may hold this.
If you have ABAPer by your side, check out Function module POSTAL_CODE_CHECK which is used in conjunction with the checking rules mentioned. This may provide you some clues.
I am wondering why you need this info.
If you need to set up your own config in Address Management than what is supplied in the standard,  then use the following path:
    SPRO/IMG/SAP NetWeaver/Application Server/Basis Services/Address Management
Also go through the following OSS notes:
1123588 - Postal code check for different countries
    1381564 - Postal codes

  • Off topic question - I need to know US zip code format

I would suggest it is obvious I do not live in the US.
When looking on the net everything I find show a US postal zip code as 5 long.
However I seem to remember seeing codes that were longer than 5 long.
    Example 3241-76543 ?
    rykk

Have a look at the ZIP faq on the USPS site ( http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/zipfaq.htm ). It has information about zip codes, ZIP+4 (what you're referring to) and zip validation services.
