    helo,

    Hello.
Did you try to clean it ?? without open the device .

  • Poor sound after updating to ISO 7

Poor sound after updating to ISO 7. Before updating i had terrific sound both on my music and videos I recorded with my cam, i had to turn it down. Now, after update, i put volym on Max and can hardly hear the music or whatever. Anyone else with same problem?

I also loved my iphone because it HAD great sound.  Since the update of the iso7 for my iphone 4s, i am missing my calls because I cannot hear the phone ringing.  The sound is so low even though I have it on the highest sound possible.  The is something in the update that caused this problem among others such as the phone blinking out while I am viewing videos.  Help Apple!  THe battery is going from 100 percent to 20 percent in two hours even when I have almost turned off everything on my iphone.  I need my sound back!  Apple please find out what happened in your update that caused the loss of the sound!

  • Poor sound quality after update on iPhone4 to iOS6

Any one with the same problem ?
After upgrading to iOS 6 on my iPhone 4, the sound quality during phone calls is very poor.
The other side is ok with listening.
The phone is not modified (unlocked and oth....)
    Any advice is welcome !
    Thanks !

Work in a professional studio and often use my itunes from my iphone 4gs to record sounds and samples. I have notice since the iso 6 update there is very poor quality sound coming from my phone now. It's seems the bit quality is very poor also the volume. I also noticed the songs are using way more power from the phone while playing.... Apple should really address these issues...a lot of  loyal costumers, such as myself use Apple products in the music industry everyday. We have grown to expect certain standards and quality from Apple products and it seems you are taking steps backwards not forwards.

  • Poor sound quality when using air play

How do I fix poor sound quality when using air play with my Denon receiver?

I am not too sure if this is affected by BT software stack or RF design...
iPhone 3G with FW 2.x provides Cisco VPN as well as Email support for corporate usage. However, it's weird that business man wouldn't want to use BT headset and talk to people... We are not asking about new feature support, like A2DP, but reliable, stable BT connection ONLY!!
I've read that lots folks spent a lot of money on purchasing many different BT headsets and tried to get it work with iPhone 3G. I myself tried: Plantronics 510/815/855, Sony HBH-DS970/980, Nokia BH-903. None of them can work fine with my iPhone 3G ever! And iPhone 3G even cause BH-903 and DS-980 hang up after pairing or finishing call!!
That's why I don't believe it's just a "SPECIAL CASE". How could a product FOR BUSINESS purpose get this kind of basic function problem?
I hope we will find this issue could be resolved completely with new F/W, like Safari crash problem before. Other than this BT IOT problem, iPhone 3G is really the phone/companion could provide complete solution fulfill my personal and business needs.

  • HH2 - how to disable DECT hub phone signal?

I have just been upgraded to BT Infinity broadband, which I agreed to mainly because it worked out as  a better deal than my current calling plan with two lines. The extra speed is great, I have no problems with that at all. What I do have a problem with is the microwave emissions of the Home Hub 2.0.
You can call me old-fashioned, call me paranoid, in fact call me what you like; but I'm one of those electrically-sensitive folk who happen to believe that having a microwave transmitter in the home is bad for your health. I have a perfectly good wired LAN serving two desktops and an occasional laptop, and I have perfectly functional landline phones. I do not need and most certainly do not want any wireless in my home.
When I accepted the offer, I specifically stated that I did not want the hub to be emitting any form of microwaves, and was assured that the default option for Infinity was to have all wireless disabled on the Hub so it shouldn't be a problem. This is not the case. I've only had it two days and already I have headaches from it. I also have a meter so I can detect the emission levels from it, and they are well above the recommended levels adopted by many other European countries (but not the UK).
I have disabled Wi-Fi on the hub (that was easy); I have opted out of BT Fon so I shouldn't be getting that either. Yet the hub is still emitting a DECT signal, which I can only assume is for the hub phone that I don't have. The engineers who installed the system were most helpful, and even called their boss about this. He said that it was possible to disable the DECT as well, but that I would need assistance from technical support to delve into the inner workings of the hub software. I subsequently spent three hours on the phone to various technical support staff - albeit most of that time was spent on hold - but nobody it seems could provide an answer to this.
CAn anyone here help with this question? Or if it's not possible to disable the hub microwaves, is there an alternative router that could be used?
I'm hoping one of the tech gurus on here will be able to help with this, otherwise I'll be calling customer services and asking for my old ADSL service back.

I'm sorry if this sounds unsympathetic, but you are describing an irrational anxiety symptom rather than any real and apparent physical hazard. You speak of your belief - I'll confine my comments to facts.
There are NO reputable studies showing ANY definite correlation between ill health and "Microwaves" (as you put it). On the other hand, there is considerable scientific evidence pointing to suggestability as the source of claimed  symptoms such as "Headaches caused by microwave radiation". For the record, the term "Microwaves" is just a loose description of radio waves in a certain frequency band. There is nothing magical or sinister about this.
The whole "Microwaves are bad for you" scare was whipped up by a small group of malicious and self- interested writers in the USA about 30 years or so ago. It was they who dreamed up the pernicious term "Electrosmog". Their propaganda was seized upon by the anti-technology lobby and cynically exploited to gain support amongst the technologically bewildered. You may yearn for a wireless free home - but you won't find that anywhere on this planet. Naturally occurring radio emissions and everyday man-made signals are with us for good.
I have some background in this - I spent many years working in radio engineering. Some of this was in an environment exposed to much higher levels of radio frequency  than you will ever encounter in a domestic situation. Neither I, nor my colleagues, nor any of the hundreds of others doing similar work suffered the symptoms you report. No headaches etc. None of us have since developed any illness which is outside the normal range of age-related ailment.
I suspect facts won't change any of your beliefs. You are free to believe what you like - but beyond a certain point, you will find it hard to get others to take these beliefs - or you - seriously.

  • Internet Hub Phone - help!

My hub phone doesn't seem to be working properly.  It rings but nobody is there, so you put the phone down and it rings again about 10 seconds later and the caller is there. Sometimes the phone rings and all you can hear is a very high pitched sound but again no caller is there.  If it's not charging in the docking station sometimes it will make an odd repetitive ring sound until you put it back in the docking station.  Other times people say they've called us but we have heard nothing.  Other times they get through first time. I have changed the batteries in the phone and pressed the reset button many times so not sure what else to do now.  It's been fine for over a year but seems like its on its way out now - any ideas?

The phone can be a little tempramental. As suggested remove the batteries and wait 60 seconds and replace.
Mine used to go off on one and that was the only way to correct it.

  • Bt hub phone - no dial tone

    Hi,
just swapped my old home hub 1 for a HH2. Setup BBtalk with the online configurarion tool.
The BBtalk light on the hub is blue, and I can receive calls OK. However I cannot get a dial tone on the hub phone. It is an old 1020 hub phone, but I know many people have these working OK with a HH2. All used to be OK with my old hub.
I have tried deleting the service from the hub, and resetting, and also resetting the phone, but so far no joy.
    Any suggestions?
    Cheers

You will need to ensure you have registered the phone to the hub, check out details from jarviser's web site.
    http://www.jarviser.co.uk/jarviser/howto3.html#type4
If you have 1010 or 1020 hubphones from V1 or V1.5 hubs you can use them on a V2 hub for basic calls with reasonable call quality, but no fancy features. This is covered in the BT online help but there are a few additional action that should help.
First de-register the handset back to factory settings. On the handset take a look at which button is the "Menu" button.
Take off the battery cover and remove one battery.
Hold in the Menu button while reinserting the battery.
After a few seconds the display will show "TEST MODE"
Do NOT press OK, but press "5"
The display will change to show "CLEAR SUB"
Hit OK and the handset will deregister, but the phone book will be retained.
The handset will now say "Please register the handset to the BT Homehub"
Do NOT press OK! - Press the Back (RH) button
    Press Menu (LH) button
Register Handset should be highlighted so click on OK
Select Base 1 unless it has an asterisk next to it, in which case select the next free base then hit OK.
The handset asks you to put the Home Hub into registration mode by pressing the Wireless association key on the side of your Hub version for three seconds.
Actually 3 seconds is not required on the V2 hub, simply press it briefly, then when the light is flashing Hit OK on the phone.
Handset then says System Pin - enter 0000 and hit OK
Handset says registering Handset Please Wait, or similar.
The handset will say 'Handset registered' when successfully registered.
Now reboot the phone handset by removing a battery again, count 5 and re-insert the battery without pressing any buttons this time.
The above actions should leave the best available sound quality, but you will not get Hi-Ds sound when you call another hubphone user.
You will be able to use the intercom between two old type hub phones, and can call a 2.1 phone from an old phone, but the 2.1 phone will not call an old hub phone 1010 on intercom.

  • Poor sound quality in timeline and export; fine in Source?

    Hello all.
Newbie to Pr but experienced pro in digital audio. I'm stumped and know I'm just missing something somewhere.
I've made a music video for one of my songs. The graphics are all done (in AE), imported to Pr and eveything looks great. I import the final mix of the audio and it sounds very low quality when played from the timeline and in the final output, regardless of format (I've tried several presets and custom settings as well). I played around and noticed that the audio sounds fine when played from the Source window inside Premier.
The Pr session is comrised of 18 video tracks (not all playing at once, of course) and one stereo audio track.
I've tried re-exporting the audio from Logic at different bit depths, sample rates and file formats (mp3, wav, AAC, etc) but the results are the same every time: Source (Pr)sounds fine, Logic output sounds fine, rendered / timeline playback sounds like very low quality mp3 and final product sounds just as bad.
I've tried everything I can think of. I hope one of you can show me what I'm missing.
    TIA!

    Thank you for the reply!
I was experiencing the same results no matter what export settings I used. Plus the poor sound quality was present in the timeline itself, without even exporting the project.
I finally threw my hands up, started a completely new project, drug the same audio file in... sounded fine. Copied / Pasted the video clips from the original, broken project and boom, eveything is fixed. Yeah, corrupted Pr file it turns out. All I had to do was start a new project and import all the old components.
I've had to do this in Logic a lot (increasingly, these days). I just wish I'd tried it 10 hours earlier! Ha.
Anyway, problem solved, and thanks very much!

  • Poor Sound 800w with BT3030

I just got a BT3030 for listening to mp3s and streaming radio on my 800w.  The sound is tinny and 'digitally'.  I have tried this on another 800w and it sounds poor there too.  I then tried the BT3030 with my old 700wx and it sounds fine-- could be louder, but fine.
Is this just a problem with the 800w or is this 6.1 or what?  No adapter for (real) headphones and now poor sound via BT?  Should I have purchased the Mogul?
Any registry tweaks for this?  Anything?
    Thanks,

My Home Hub Phone has stopped working, doesn't ring when dialled, i cannot dial out from it, it appears in the manager as connected/registered.
    Have tried the following things....
    switching phone on and off
    deleting and re-registering phone
    restarting whole Home Hub
all done, and phone re-registered on system afterwards, but nothing.
Even when i dial a number on it, then go to hit the green button to send the number, it wont even attempt to dial.

yes - its not easy to get the cover off a 2.1 phone is it??? - Anybody got any tips ??
Garfield - I have just noticed there is a reset facility on the menu/settings /option 9.
There is a handset settings reset or full reset. Might be worth trying the full reset if you cant get the cover off

  • Poor sound - FIX - well possibly

    Hi guys,
Don't know if this helps you but I was experiencing low sound volumes when playing dvds but all other sound levels were fine (ie windows beeps and system sounds etc.).
Installed AC3 audio filter and went into the control panel for that and incresed the master gain. now my dvds play at an acceptable level.
Start Menu -> Programs -> AC3Filter and run AC3Filter Confiig. Increase the Master at Gain, click Apply and OK. You will notice that the DVD movie volume has been increased.
Sorry I don't know enough about sound to see why this works but it worked for me.
     Hope  this helps
Now if only can sort out low mic volume issue
    Regards
    Rob

    dancecertified,
I did try to install sp40714.exe by following your instructions.  I tried twice.  Both times, I uninstalled the default IDT driver from Add/Remove programs, rebooted, then installed sp40714.exe.  Both times, after the installation, when I tried to connect any of my USB storage devices, or SD cards, it started asking me to install the drivers, which it could not find.
This is the second time that I had to format and re-install XP from the recovery disk.
This is where I am right now.  I'm on the original sound drivers, vanilla XP install, but at least I can plug in all of my USB peripherals.
I've chatted with HP support twice, both times they told me to try to re-install the latest XP driver (sp42298.exe), which not only brought back the old poor sound quality, but didn't frix the USB storage recognition problem.
