Poor streaming since new iOS installed.

I stream TV Shows from my TiVo to my iPhone and my iPad. Both have been stopping and the indication is an unknown error or problem. Are others having this problem. It started after the new iOS was installed on both devices. That is the only change made in the system before the problem started.

It sounds to me like you did a "copy tftp flash"
You need to issue the "archive download-sw /force-reload /overwrite tftp://10.0.0.2/c1200-k9w7-tar.123-8.JEB1.tar" command.
10.0.0.2 being your tftp server
c1200etc being the image you want to dwonload. This will extract all of the relevant http files. any problems give me a shout..

Cannot attach files to Yahoo email account since new Safari installed

Hello. I don’t know why, but since I installed the new Safari update, I’ve been having trouble attaching files to my Yahoo email account. The entire Safari just sort of freezes. I can’t even click on anything.
Another minor but irritating problem since the installment: sometime video clips cannot be played (like on Youtube). I would have to quit and reopen to get to usual condition.
Anyone know how to solve these problems? Thanks!

The problem is BrowserPlus. It's not compatible with Safari 5.

If you don't want to do that, you revert to the previous version of Safari, instructions here.

[SOLVED] Sluggish database update times since new Arch install

Hi guys, this time I write to ask something about pacman that i find unusual.
Happens that I decided to reinstall my Arch like 2 months ago, and since then pacman takes a real longer time that it used to just to sync the databases, to be more accurate this sluggishness presents not when the progress bar is downloading the new DB, but between DB downloads (e.g. it takes about minute from the time it finishes downloading the core DB to when it starts to download the extra DB.)...
Any ideas?

Well, it seems to me that this solved the problem. I had uncommented some lines at Czech Republic but live in Mexico, so that was lagging the pacman operations a lot. But now its fast as usual.

Impossible to recharge my iPhone since new IOS 4.3

I've started to receive push telling me that "this accessories wont be able to charge the iphone" but I had the phone in my hand and it wasn't plugged to any cable or device.
Even when I've plugged it in the wall outlet with the apple cable, I was receiving the same message.
I wasn't also able to import my photos et videos with my macbook (OS Lion).
Now my battery is dead and I dont know what to do...

I have been to the Apple store after I've talked to the Apple customer service.
They first thought it was dirt in the dock. Even after blowing some air into it, nothing had happened. They just gave me a new iPhone to replace it because I was still under warranty. At least, my computer had saved more data than I first thought and everything is fine apart from the day that I lost dealing with this issue.
What still bugs me is that I really think it is a OS issue. The first "push" that I received did occured when nothing was plugged in the dock, combined to the fact that it happened just after an IOS update... What would had happended if it had occured after the warranty had expired ?
I don't know if it was part of the problem, but my previous iPhone seemed always hot compare to the new one, and my battery would not last as long as the new one...

Problems since new ios 6.1 update

I have got problems with my pc / router since installing ois 6.1 update. My phone comapny says its not a signal strength problem as line been tested, router is fine and kids can play online with xbox ps3 etc it is just with the internet I have to keep refreshing pages, it was fine until 2 days ago

The 6.1 update should only affect your iDevice. Try this,
To reset your network settings, tap Settings > General > Reset, then scroll down and tap Reset Network Settings.
Safe to do and you will only need to reeneter your wireless network pasword(s) on your iDevice.

HT204380 Unable to message during video chat since new iOS update. International connection isn't always great and needed to message during video chat but am no longer able to. Any hints.

SSince updating iOS I cannot message during video call on FaceTime. While calling internationally the connection stinks and I would rely on messaging until the audio would work again. Did this option get eliminated or do I need to take another step to use it. It was simply tapping the chat box at the top of the screen previously. Thanks for any assistance.

This Log states Error 8 (Near the top)
Error 8 is a bit of a catch all for everything that ichat can't label to some other cause.
All the way though the Log sticks with port 16402 (Good) and does not vary (it is actually supposed to try a random port).
The CSeq (Call Sequence) never gets beyond INVITE
In fact this si the SIP invite that is Behind the Scenes after the Buddy Accepts the Visible Invite part.
Specifically the second line here is supposed to move on to read "TRYING", "RINGING" and "OK"

Are both ends using UPnP in their routing device ?
If you have an Apple Base Station of any sort then this has Port Mapping Protocol that needs to be Enabled.
The log looks like a router was using Port Forwarding (The listing or Port pointing at one IP (Computer) ) and that the IP of the computer has changed.

Why can't I download or update my apps since new iOS 8 update?

Every time I try to update or download new app from iTunes store I get a waiting below app icon and even if I leave for hours it doesn't progress at all and is impossible to download anything from iTunes store. I ttied resetting my phone and powering down both but still does the same thing!!

I get the same thing... just a spinning icon and the download doesn't even start. This started after updating to 8.0.2.
I've closed apps and rebooted several times and I still can't download any apps. I've tried both on Wifi and cellular and can't download.

First Reset it: hold down the home and sleep buttons, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons.
If that doesn't work Restore it from a backup in iTunes.
If that doesn't work Restore it as a new device and manually load your apps, music, etc.

HT6147 Since I installed the new IOS 7.0.6 today my iphone 4 and mini ipad cannot access my wifi in my home. All other home electronics have wifi. Could this be a result of the IOS installed today.

Could it be a result of the new IOS 7.0.6 I installed today that my apple devices will not connect to my wifi?

Try using Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
See if that clears up the problem.
