Pop mail- is it saved on the computer?

My mail crashed when it rebuilt- its missing thousands of emails.
My question is- when my mail program opens mail from my pop server- does it save a copy on my computer? Or does mail only act as a reader?
In other words- is my POP mail somewhere saved on my computer so that I can re-install it back into the mail program?

I searched the "old" forum and have very good help from UVSAR but unfortunately I'm not able to access my message sent to that forum anymore.

I've have never use Java scripts in my life: I started about three days ago.
1) I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro X (Windows 7)
2) I've created a form using Microsoft Word and save it as a pdf file.
3) After I created a form using Acrobat Pro X;
3.1.) This form it's not going to be submitted over Internet. It will be send by e-mail to some persons. They will receive it, fill in the form and send it back to me via e-mail. Note: I will save it with extended rights in order to allow to be read with acrobat reader (I'm the only one of the group having Professional edition).
4) In that form I've created some text fields (for now it's just what I need - no radio buttons, dropdown
menus, and so...)
5) Choosed Properties and marked 7 fields as "required";
6) Used a script I found in here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/784322 (thank you for the authors of the thread)

7) This script allows me to remember people to fill that 7 specific fields (when using mouse or tab).
8) So... What I really need? Here are the reasons for my request for help:
8.1.) When people use the Acrobat Reader Save button (not a button I created inside the form) it will pop up an alert message. Users will receive a pop up window telling them they need to fill those fields before saving the form and send it back to me. Can someone share a script, please? Thanks in advance.
8.2.) Is there a way to colorize the fileds that need to be filled? Again I only learned where to insert a java script yestaerday sou I'm not able to write one. I'm sorry for my newbie questions.
8.3.) Last question: In one of the fields there will be an e-mail address. On the end of the form I want to create a button like "Send by e-mail" and When someone press that button the e-mail will be sent to the address that was written in the earlier specific field. How can I do this (link a button to an e-mail address in a specific field)? Can someone help me with a script or ideas? Hope I was clear.
8.1.) UVSAR sent me the following code that works fine untill I save the document for the first time. Affter that he never shows me pop up window again.

Hi ACI wonder if you can share any responses on to your question above?I too have never used a script but, I have the same problems as you in regards to building a form. And wants to have the same 'protection' and message reminders for the end users. Any information, including a script and/or a contact email of experts you can share with me will help tremendously. iTunes told me to delete my backup folder when I was having problems syncing my phone to my computer. After that it wouldn't work at all. After trying and trying I deleted iTunes when it said "iTunes could not back up iPhone because the backup could not be saved on the computer"and now it wont let me install it again and keeps saying "itunes cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in the cabinet ". What the **** itunes? Nothing is working!!
I wanted to update my iTunes so I could sync my phone to my computer and update my phones software so I can use the latest apps that need a 4.2 or higher.
This is not fun for me so if anyone knows what I can do to fix this please help. Is it possible to download the "cabinent file" with the lastest iTunes?

My phone is the iPhone4 and my computer is a Windows Vista

I doubt that corrupt files are the problem. It is more likely a space or permissions issue. Is the hard-drive on which iTunes is stored close to capacity? Do you (or the particular user profile you have logged on with) have the requisite permissions to save to that drive?
Otherwise, do you get an error code? This might point us in the right direction.

When you log out or shut down, there will be a checkbox that asks you if you want to reopen windows when you log in. Just uncheck this box. If that isn't it, you may have login items turned on. Go to System Preferences>Users and Groups and then under your name click the Login Itens tab. Make sure nothing is there.
If you want to stop windows from restoring when you open applications (so for example when you open Safari it doesn't open the 50 tab page you just had open when you quit) go to SystemPreferences>General and then hit the checkbox that says Close windows when quitting an application.

I updated to iOS 5.0.1 days ago and didn't receive that notification until just now...
This time I synced new photos I took yesterday, and it gave me the:
"iTunes Sync: 54 items could not be synced. See iTunes for more information"
Perhaps it kicks off when new items get synced.
I've decided to rent a movie yesterday. Once it gets deleted, I'm curious to see if it jumps to 55 items.

Hey guys.
First of all i would like to thank you for reading my post and trying to help.
Anyways, i rent an external harddrive from one of my friends, and he had a huge amount of songs, that i would like to get on my computer. Stupid as i am, i started downloading directly from the harddrive, which result in a lot of songs in my iTunes, that are not saved in the computer, and when i remove the external harddrive from my computer, all the songs cannot play. So after that, i saved them on my computer, and tried getting them into iTunes once again. This has resulted in a double of every songs. Which is quite much.. Are there any ways, that i can do a "Clean-up" and remove all the songs that are not saved on my computer or not working or something like that?

If your previous library was matched on you your computer, you can retrieve your music from itunes match on your computer.
Sign in to match and add your computer. Your library will now show all the music that is in match. You should be able to download all your music back on to your computer.

You need an external drive so you can free up disk space. Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. Make sure you have a minimum of 15% free disk space.

If only one song is doing that, that suggests the track is damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Mail attachments not saving to the folder I choose

My mail attachments are not saving to the folder I choose. When I select a file to save in the mail drop-down box, I am given options to save to a folder of my choice. However, when I select save the document is actually saved deep in some Mail Downloads area, not in my chosen folder. Has anyone had a similar problem and found a solution?

What kind of files are you trying to attach?
Is it all recipients having this problem or specific one(s)?
Could you possibly post a screenshot of the sent message from your side and a screenshot of what the recipient sees?
What happens if you send one of these messages to yourself?

That is not really something that will happen, the computer will actually save the file at least temporarily on your computer if you open the attachment.
What I expect you to be trying to do is
* open the file and view the content in Firefox
* or open the file directly with some other application
What sort of files are you asking about e.g. pictures, Word Documents, or pdf s .
