Pop-up coupons
Every time I open home page I get a coupon pop-up for bundle discounts, this follows suit with every page with a coupon related to a product.This is very annoying since everything you are doing stops. You have to re-enter what you had started. A tech told me this had nothing to do with Verizon,but the only name on the window is Verizon.Anyone else experiencing this annoyance?
Un-install the Google toolbar that is provided by Verizon, if you have it installed.
Install and use anti-spyware apps to help get rid of the spyware/adware.

I accidentally downloaded a website for coupons and its toolbar keeps popping up at the top of my internet window. I went to the toolbar options and unchecked it but when I get back into the internet it is up again. I want it completely gone so that it doesn't even have a chance to be seen. I don't want it. I would start off with Firefox's Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then look for unwanted extensions and try the Remove button.
If the Remove button is missing, this usually means the extension was installed through the Windows installer. In that case, check for it in the Windows Control Panel, Uninstall a Program. Clicking the "Installed on" column header will bring the most recent additions to the top for easier spotting.
After you get rid of it, assuming you can remove it in one of those two ways, I suggest "mopping up" with some malware removers. This article lists tools that other Firefox users have found helpful: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]].

H0w to eliminate COUPONS ADD-ON that keep popping up?
The pop-up says "We have enabled our Coupons add-on which will enhance your browsing experience by displaying coupons as you shop and browse your favorite sites on the web. Check out our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions." I hit the "turn off these enhancements" and it does nothing.
I've disabled the Add-on Coupon in my Firefox add-ons and it does nothing.

Have you tried deleting the add-on completely?
I'd try starting Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit. You should look at the [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting-extensions-themes Extensions and Themes troubleshooting guide ] and the [[Troubleshooting plugins]] article as well.

I am at http://www.closys.com/samples_&_coupons/get_a_coupon.html and the pop up window for a printable coupon only appears briefly (in the upper left corner) and then disappears, even after putting the web site into the Tools,Options,Content,Pop-Up Exceptions. What gives and how can it be fixed. I have a time limit.

Sorry, but I have already tried this too and verified that the web addresses are listed as Allow, rather than Block. After restart there was no difference, I still get the disappearing pop-up windows.

Have you heard of any issues like this occurring based on the number of tabs that are open in Firefox?
Just a thought, even though I have not heard of this as an issue before. I keep about 80 tabs open regularly, because of research that I am always conducting (I am a blogger, a writer/author, a technophile-especially Green Tech.,), email, work, etc.?
I do have a check in the box for Firefox to let me know if the number of open tabs is causing slow down or other issues.

I have an iphone and an ipad. I don't have an Exchange email account pulling all my messages from my verizon email account into my apple devices. My husband uses his Outlook computer at work to create 2 Inboxes on his iphone (one is his work email Inbox and one Inbox is his pulling from his personal account). I noticed using an Exchange-type email program with the iphone allows for features I want. I want to check email on my phone and ipad. I ALSO want to be able to file emailed coupons into an Inbox coupon folder on my phone and ipad for easy retrieval. It seems the icloud email program will let you do all of this. It also seems Google offers gmail and it will do this for me. Now that I set up an icloud email address, I can't figure out how to get Verizon email pulled into it. My iphone and ipad pulls my Verizon email but does not allow for Inbox folders. Verizon won't auto-forward emails to another account. Gmail will pull them for me though. Will icloud do this?
Verizon netmail just offered auto email Forwarding. So, even though icloud might might not offer the services Gmail and other email programs offer to pull email, it seems I might still be able to accomplish what I want using the other email account's ability to forward my email to my icloud email address. We'll see. Please reply if you know the answer to the icloud's ability to pull email in a way like pop-mail does for pc users. It would have helped me if I could've found the answer to that question in this support forum...

Turn off does nothing, but CLOSE does close itHi vbaio, So far so good. Iran Malware antibytes and Spybot search and destroy after updating them both for the latest updates and so far not one of the pop ups .It is mid afternoon here in Australia and tonight will be the biggest test. I will advise you if it starts up again.Spybot actually I think who came up with the actual bug before I did the scans may have solved the problem.These programs are free here. Tweedle. Thanks again

Since you're using 10.6, you can't use AdwareMedic, unfortunately. However, you could use the manual removal instructions in my Adware Removal Guide instead. They should help you find everything that AdwareMedic would.
I don't know that I would advise trying to upgrade from 10.6 all the way to 10.10 just to run AdwareMedic. -
04X Bonds Issuace - Tax Rate on Coupon not fix every payment
Hi,
I've a problem with product type 04x-Issued Bonds. Corresponding tax rate or amount for the scheduled coupon payment is not fix, therefore, a facility to maintain or adjust the tax amount every payment should be available. How do I do this in securities module? I've tried creating a condition type where I'll just enter the fixed amount in class master data but an error message pops-out that tells me I should report this to SAP. I cannot do this in other flows tab of the contract since once the contrace is settled, the tab is no longer editable and no payment date can be maintained.
Need your help on this guys.

Pop-Ups ALWAYS opening new tabs in Safari 8.0
I was recently helping my boyfriend and had downloaded "unsafe" downloads onto my MacBook Pro Mid 2012 on Safari 8.0 and directly after downloading these links there are continuous pop ups showing up that are opening new tabs and they usually pertain to what I am looking up. Such as when I was logging into Apple Support MacKeeper and other various websites for virus protecting programs pop up. Also my home page is changed to a different site (the name is something along the lines of "Only" and their home page looks JUST LIKE Googles). Pop ups are happening ALL the time and it's getting very frustrating. I downloaded MacKeeper awhile back but I believe I was successfully able to uninstall it. Even when I am clicking on a link on Google or I accidentally tap my mouse pad and it clicks on my current website a pop up opens a new tab. I have cleared my caches, history, and cookies. My firewall, firevault, and all other precautions are turned on. What can I do to fix this problem I am having? ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thank you in advance (:

PS. I let my boyfriend barrow my computer last night so he could restore his iphone but it looks like he tried to download a few things and was successful at downloading more plug ins for me... Not so great. I've been trying to get rid of genieo forever now aand he reinstalled it again. Looks like I'm the only one using this from now on! -
I have a personal account on Sony website where I register all stuff I buy from Sony, last august while browsing I had a pop up asking to reply to a (long) survey, when I finished it I had a message with a coupon code to use for my next buy to get 20% off. The code is supposed to last 6 month but everytime I try to use it it says "not possible" to use, blah, blah... It is only for accessories according to the website that day. I asked for help on french twiter but they don't give a, they asked me for the email from sony but I got no email, the coupon was just displayed on the website page and that's it. What can I do to be able to use this 20% off ? french support is inexistent, only automated reply by email...

According to Apple, the NAWinterBook08 coupon was supposed to be extended through March 8, 2008 for a 20% discount. I tried to submit an order just now and was told that the coupon was expired. What's the deal?
This page says valid through March 8 so it should be acceptable today. Try again and take a screenshot of the denial window for your records and contact them via: http://www.apple.com/support/photoservices/contact_us/
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file. -
I have repeatedly installed and uninstalled Microsoft Silverlight, I have followed every thing out there and uninstalled from various folders. It still states the program is there and it won't run. This is also happening with my coupon printer that word

I followed someone else's advice and found all the silverlight files in "INVISIBLE FILES".
In the Finder, choose File > Find or press Command (⌘)-F.
From the far-left pop-up menu (labeled “Kind”), choose Other.
In the list of search attributes, select the “File invisible” checkbox, and then click OK.
In the related menu, choose Invisible Items.
once loaded go to folder Private
then to folder VAR
then folder db
then folder Receipts
scroll to any com.microsoft.silverlight item and delete. there are a bunch of them.
close, restart and install silverlight. -
Can't use my 10% off coupon online.

I received an e-mail from bestbuy.com with a 10% off coupon that I can use online or in store. I have been trying for several days to use it to buy a vizio tv and the message "Sorry, our site just had a glitch. Please call us at 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289) to place your order." keeps popping up. I have tried calling the number to fix this problem but they have been unable to help. Please help me resolve this issue. I just want a working coupon!

I have a few questions for you about the offer: did you receive the email from Best Buy or another sender? What is the name of the offer? Is the coupon still valid (e.g., Vizio TVs are not excluded, the end date of the offer has not passed, etc.)? Are you attempting to use more than one offer on your order? If so, what other offer(s) are you attempting use?

I browsed around and couldn't find this topic, so forgive me if this is a repeat.
I'm having trouble printing coupons from sites like coupons.com and redplum.com. I have installed all of the needed software, uninstalled, and installed again. I've also repaired all my permissions. What happens is it says it's printing, it goes to print, but then an error message pops up in the queue under status and it won't print.
Here are a couple examples of the error messages:
Error: /usr/libexec/cups/filter/cgpdftoraster failed
Error: /usr/libexec/cups/filter/CouponConvertor_v2 failed
Anyone have any idea how to fix this?I can confrim that after trying everything else I could think of, the work-around of using AOL Desktop for Mac (I downloaded 1.7) works to print coupons.
I also sent an email to Coupons.com detailing the problem with Safari and Firefox (the only two browsers they list as being compatible with their software and Mac OS X) and letting them know about the work-around of using AOL Desktop for Mac, so it's not an incompatibility with OS X itself - just with their implementation with data from Safari and Firefox. I'd suggest everyone else do the same. Here's the link to their "Contact Us" page:

I just used bogus info for the phone number (555-555-5555), company name, etc (I did give them one of the email address I use for junk mail and subscription lists that I only rarely check).
I also selected "Problems with or Questions about Printing & Using Coupons" as the option on the "Please contact me to discuss" drop down, and then "I cannot print coupons" on the "Problem" dropdown menu that appears after that.
Hope this might help others.
