Pop-Up "Error you see to be offline" with APP

Hi All,
Until a little while ago I was able to use the GQ magazine app without any problems. Now, however I get a pop-up that says: "Error - You appear to be offline. Please reconnect to the Internet in order to connect to the GQ Store".
This is odd as I'm connected to the internet. I've tried to re-install the app but the problem remains. I've also rebooted my iPad but still have the problem.
Hope someone can help.

I wish I had more to offer. If this app is supposed to work independently of the Safari browser and you can connect to the Internet with Safari, I am pretty much out of ideas.
Maybe contact the developer - app support - see if they have a FAQ section or a way to email them. If this is the app that I looked at briefly in the app store, there seem to be a lot of users with issues using this app. I realize you said the problem just cropped up so it is really mystifying.
One more shot in the dark, try turning off Autofill in the Safari settings. I have seen this suggested for users with connectivity issues. Not sure how it works but it's worth a try.
Is there a refresh button for this app? Sometimes I will get the "not connected" message when using Safari but if I simply refresh a couple of times it will connect.

Oh no, mrsbchez. That's strange. Did this pop up when you accessed a particular application on your phone? Are you using the original charger that came with the phone? Try rebooting your phone first. If it goes back into recovery mode, try the alternate method at http://vz.to/1uFkbm3 to place your phone into Safe Mode.

There are three minor problems in the Solution Files that are provided in the Windows Zip Downloads.
The ex2_05_web_solution.mxml file contains an incorrect wsdl reference
This is the reference provided on line 81 (wsdl="http://www.adobetes.com/f45iaw100/remoteData/employeeData.cfc?wsd")
This needs to be corrected, as the l is missing from wsdl and including www in the domain doesn't return the wsdl. The following should be the new wsdl reference (wsdl="http://adobetes.com/f45iaw100/remoteData/employeeData.cfc?wsdl")

What does it mean when you see the battery symbol with red and black and an "lightening" symbol below it

Why doesn't the battery on my new iPhone 4s last very long? I charged it yesterday late afternoon. Did not use it at all and it was completely dead this morning.

All icons are covered in the User's Guide... might be a good idea to browse through it.
Also, a simple search of these forums or google will result in a plethora of information regarding battery life. Help yourself by doing a little research.

I gave my old iphone to my son and he restored it to factory settings. After I gave him the phone, I changed my Apple ID and password. Since his restore he cannot use the phone. It is asking for my Apple ID and password and won't accept the new one I created. Suggestions?

I couldn't use my newly bougt IPhone because for some reason I wasn't allowed to use my old Apple ID. I got help from an Apple Chat-service (which I can't remember how I found...) with creating a new Apple ID, but where's my previous purcases? I had a ton of apps on the old ID, how do I transfer them to the new one? I've bought some apps with the new one, but it seems like I must delete all my previously bought apps to access the new ones if I want to sync with my laptop (can't sync with two libraries on PC)... It would have been so much easier if I could just merge the IDs completely...

I found out that I can download things from App Store on the iPad from a different ID that is used to sync with PC. But it would have been nice to just have one ID for all, plain and simple. Merging of acoounts should be possible, this would make shopping much less complicated for users who have to use several IDs.

SCCM 2007 should we be at for App-V v5 sequenced applications to be deployed and/or streamed?

When I take a screenshot (command, shift, 4), I get an error: "you don't have permission to save files in the location where screenshots are stored". Help!

I used to be able to take screenshots just fine.
Now, when I try to take a screenshot (using command + shift + 4) I get an error stating that my screenshot cannot be saved, because I do not have permission to save where they are stored. HELP!

If not running Lion, please do this:
With the Finder active, press the following key combinations, in this order:
Shift-Command-H
Command-3
Command-I
The Info window for your home folder will open. Click the lock icon to authenticate. In the Sharing & Permissions section, you should have read & write access. If not, make it so. Regardless of whether you made any changes, select "Apply to enclosed items" from the action (gear icon) menu.
If running Lion, do this:
Boot from your recovery partition by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the recovery desktop appears, select Utilities > Terminal from the menu bar.
In the Terminal window, enter “resetpassword” (without the quotes) and press return. A “Reset Password” window opens.
Select your boot volume if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled “Select the user account” if not already selected.
Under “Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs”, click the “Reset” button.
Select Apple menu > Restart from the menu bar.

App Store review page error - "You must own this item ..." I do own it!?!

Recently when trying to review apps I very clearly do own and have already downloaded, both free and purchased I get the pop-up error "You must own this item to write a customer review. In order to write a customer review you must have purchased or downloaded it." I try to review anyway and it doesn't go through. I would like to be able to inform other App users as they inform me. It's very frustrating. I have reset the iphone, verified my password and account access, ensured my password is entered correctly, rebootoed the iphone, and still I can not leave reviews for Apps I own. Any ideas?

Thanks for the tips, Raleigh. I tried multiple ways to post a review (on my Mac before and after signing out/in on my iTunes account, verified that the app showed in my purchase history, on the iPhone where the app showed as Installed, etc.). I do this this is a bona fide issue with the App Store (among other issues, such as not connecting when tapping categories on the iPhone, but featured, top25, etc., buttons all worked). These have been intermittent over the past week.
