Pop-Up Help Bubbles

I would like to create help bubbles, like thos in programs like word etc, where when a user has thier cursor over a certain component a little popup bubble will appear explaining wot that component does. I can not seem to find if there is such a command in java and i there is, is anyone able to tell me? thanks for your help.

Create a pop-up help message

Hello,
I'm looking for a way to create a pop-up help message. What I want to have is 'section help' button. When a user clicks on the button, a small screen pops-up with instruction how to fill out the form.
I'm trying to use the below but it looks so ugly.

I however, don't know how to make the button float on top of the form. Could you please explain to me how to create a button from a pdf and how to make it float on top of the form?

You can put text into the Tool Tip box in the Accessibility palette for that.

Pop up help Tips

Hello, I am a new user of Windows 8.1, i have a problem with the pop up help tips, I don't have a tactil screen I use only mouse. How can I disable this application. Sorry for my english...

Hope you meant pop tips for first time users. Usually just follow the tutorial, quickly navigate to the next window and then it will stop once the tutorial is finished.
If not, try this method.
Press windows key + R, type gpedit.msc
On the left side, go to User Configuration -> Administrative Templates ->
Windows Components -> Edge UI. Open
Disable help tips. Select Enabled.
You should not be getting any more tips. Hope this helps.

Custom Help-Bubble or Pop Up?

Is is possible to have custom help for fields on a form. A
customer would like bubble help, but will do with other types of
field help. Right now all I see is using a like to a static
HTML page for the display name of a field.
Anyone have any ideas?

I would like to implement a pop-up help window like

When the cursos remains over a control for a certain ammount of time, some help text can then pop-up. Then the text can dissapear with more activity.

All you have to do is right-click of the control or indicator and select "Description and Tip...". In the resulting dialog enter into the "Tip" field the pop text you want to appear.

How can I turn off the pop-up "Help HP Design Products You Want"? (8600 printer)

The pop-up window "Help HP Design the Products you want" keeps returning every 5 minutes all day long
regardless of how I respond to it! Can this be turned Off?

Actionscript 2 pop up help

I am needing help with a script to leaving images up on screen if they have been dragged out of the pop-up window when this pop-up is closed. As at the moment the images i have dragged out of the pop-up window are disappearing when the pop-up is closed.Thank you for your help in advance.

Add a help bubble at Home, Next & Previous buttons

So are you showing only one record at a time? If so, this can be very simple.
1. Create a variable to hold the next record you want to display. Create another for the previous record (you already have the current record).
2. Create a custom procedure and set the value of the next and previous record ID's using an SQL query of your choice.
3. On the NEXT button, set it to Submit and set the target page to be the same page. Set the value of the current record ID to be that of the next record ID. When the page refreshes, it should grab the appropriate record.
4. Following that idea, on the PREVIOUS button, set it also to Submit to the same target (the page you are on now). Set the value of the current record ID to be that of the previous record ID.
Try that and see how it goes.

Asian characters pop into text bubbles when I chat...

Hi. I am having issues with iChat. When I type into the message field in iChat my text is in English. When I hit return, when the message is displayed into the bubbles, my text turns into Asian characters, which, of course, I am unable to read. However, the person that I am chatting with can see my words in English.
I also notice that some headers (text headlines) on websites are displaying as fractional numbers and such as well. There must be something going on with my system that I just cannot pinpoint.
Has anyone heard of this happening before? Please advise...

Go to Font Book and makes sure you do not have Helvetica Fractions Active.
There are some other Fonts that cause similar issues so it may not be this one specifically.
However this certainly should not be active for iChat.

ITunes (10.5) Keeps Popping Up, Help

This is extremely annoying. Ever since I enabled wifi sync on my iphone 4 and ipad 2 itunes keeps randomly popping up out of nowhere. It always shows just my iphone device (not my ipad) on it and it's not even syncing. I even did a wireless sync to see if it will stop and itunes still keeps popping up for no reason. I am running Win7. Any ideas? Is this happening to anyone else?

Same here, same circumstances. Occurring since Wi-Fi sync was enabled on an iPhone and iPad, won't stop despite Wi-Fi being disabled for both now.

I deauthorized all my computers but now how do i choose to authorize each one? no options are popping up. help

My old computer crashed. I got new one. Downloaded itunes. I was having problem with itunes and it saying wont authorize this new notebook. After reading suggestions, I deauthorized all computers thinking it would be easy to then individually authorize. BUT i see no authorize options in my account info. HELP~ Thank you

If you're running Mac OS X, move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on Store, and choose Authorize this Computer.
If you're running Windows, press the Alt and S keys and choose Authorize this Computer, or click here, follow the instructions, click on Store in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.

Some kind of help bubbles on my screen?

My cat walked across my keyboard and now I have black text bubbles on my screen that basically tell me every move I am making and I can't figure out how to get rid of them.

Turn off VoiceOver. To turn off VoiceOver, press Command and F5 keys. Also, you can open System Preferences > Universal Access, and turn off VoiceOver from here

Trust this Computer - iPad/iMac Message Keeps Popping Up - HELP???

I see plenty of reported issueson this subject, but none that fix my problem.
iMac has latest OSX and iTunes versions, iPad is updated to iOS 7.1. I even tried reinsatalling OSX (thought I'd got away from reinstalls when I dropped Windows!!!).
But I still get bing, bing, bing, bing, bing ... and the "Trust this Computer" pop-up every second until I unplug the (original Apple) USB cord
Any suggestions how to get around this annoying problem - which may have started after iOS 7.1 upgrade.

It sounds like your phone keeps connecting and disconnecting over and over until you unplug your iPhone from the computer. I recommend the troubleshooting in the following article named:

Try the following steps to check the connection between your device or computer. You might need to do only one of these steps to resolve the issue, so test your connection after each step.
See if the cable connection at the device or computer has come loose or unplugged.
Unplug the cable you're using to connect your iOS device from the USB port on your computer, and then reconnect it. Then unplug it from your iOS device, and reconnect it.
Remove any third-party battery packs or cases from the device and ensure that the USB cable is connected directly to the port on the device.
If your Lightning or 30-pin cable is connected to a keyboard, display or USB hub, try plugging it directly into a USB port on the computer instead.
Close any virtualization apps (such as Parallels or VMWare).
These apps may interfere with your computer's ability to communicate over USB if they aren't properly configured, or up to date. If this resolves the issue, contact the developer of the app to see if an update is available.
Restart your computer.
Restart your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch.
If you're using an accessory or third-party cable to connect your device, try using an Apple cable with the device instead.
Update to the latest version of iTunes if you have not already.
Disconnect other USB devices from your computer, except for your keyboard and mouse. Then, reconnect your iOS device. If the issue is resolved, reconnect the other USB devices one at a time. Make sure your iOS device is still recognized by the computer after adding back each device.
If one of these steps resolves the issue, but it comes back later, make sure you haven't changed how the device is connected. For example, check to see if you plugged the device into a specific accessory, or used a specific cable that reintroduced the issue.
