Pop up in ITunes
When I go into ITunes I get a pop up that say's "Apple Push has stopped working - Wndows can check for the problem" then below is 2 choices.
1.Check online for solution and close program
2. Close the program
I just close the box and continue to do what I was going to do.(upload or download to my Iphone) Should I be responding to this message by doing something? Is there something wrong with my with my computer or my iphone 4S?
"APSDaemon.exe (otherwise known as Apple Push) is the service that wirelessly syncs your device. It may safely be stopped from running at startup, but you may not be able to wirelessly sync your device.
Have you tried to restart your PC to see if the message goes away

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

When I plug in my iPod, a little window pops up on iTunes stating that I cannot use the iPod cannot be used because the apple mobile device service is not started. What do I do?

iTunes crashes when doing a power search. I get a Microsoft Visual C Runtime Library Error message: Program C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes\iTunes.exe R6025. Pure virtual functional call. If I select ok, Windows 7 pops up with iTunes has stopped working and then it shuts iTunes down. Anyone else every have this issue. Any ideas on a fix?

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Can you turn off the annoying pop-up in iTunes when you hover over a song in your song list.
I don't need a stupid pop-up; this isn't a stupid Windows program. Now my iTunes is jumping around, things are popping up! *** APPLE! I wnat my old iTunes back!Like whan you touch the black bar at the top of the screen with the time and the battery percentage and all that...the screen will scroll all the way back to the top. If you haven't already, update iTunes. Also, remove any old iTunes plug-ins. -

I keep getting this message popping up in iTunes: The software required for communicating with the iPod is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes to install the iPod software. I tried a suggestion from this (apple discussions) site and it did NOT work. I am not computer literate and need more help. Thank you.
This is often caused by XP's Fast User Switching, which doesn't work with iTunes:
Fast User Switching in Windows XP is not supported
To disable this, go to Start/Control Panel/User Accounts then 'Change the way users log on and off' and remove the checkmark from Fast User Switching. -
So I have an iphone4g in recovery mode. Followed all the steps to the T. Error pops up in itunes 1602. Prior it was powered off during erase all content and settings mode while waiting to reboot. Now its back to the apple logo. Any ideas if powering it off during the erase all content damaged the software?
You should really read the manual.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer. -
Was advised to uninstall mobile device helper because a window kept popping up about every 45 seconds saying it had stopped working.Uninstalled it that took care of that problem,but now I have a new one.I can't access the iTunes store.Every time I click the store icon a window pops up saying iTunes has stopped working.Any suggestions anyone.

*i've managed to download quicktime, but am still unable to download itunes. after reaching a certain point in downloading itunes, (about 1/3 of the way?) it stops at "copying files", and my computer freezes and i have to hold the power button in order to shut it off and do anything, or i get a popup asking me if i want to change something so itunes can finish downloading. i click "yes", but then the download stops completely and i get a message saying "itunes has finished downloading, but with errors" and it tells me to download it again.

but the fault module name changes on me. sometimes it's kernel32.dll, and sometimes it's something else, and i've already tried using task manager /find str but it doesn't help. -

My iPhne is 4S, after I downloading the latest OS 5.1 and extracting and verifying, it came to a point on iTunes where it could not at all, activate my iPhone. A message popped up on iTunes saying - "There is a problem with your iPhone"; We're sorry, the iPhone you connected may be damaged and cannot be activated for service. We recommend that you visit your nearest Apple Store for more information. Please kindly suggest me how to do.
Not surprised that you took a paragraph from my post to repost the same issue.
It is a hardware/software fault which you'll have to get the iPhone replaced if you're under warranty. -

When you connect your iPod to your computer, is it flashing the Do Not Disconnect symbol?
If it is, try the steps in the articles I posted above, if you haven't already.
If it's not...
First, try a different USB port. If you're still having the same problem, try a different USB cable.
Let us know if you're getting any error messages when you plug in the iPod.
If you're on a desktop computer, sometimes it helps to have the iPod connected directly to a USB on the BACK of the computer tower. So, if you're connecting your iPod to a USB on the monitor, or on the keyboard, or the front of the tower, try a port on the back. Also, if you're connecting the iPod through a hub, skip the hub and connect DIRECTLY to a port on the computer.
If you've done all this and it still isn't working, let's see if the iPod shows up in the Device Manager.
Click on Start, right click on My Computer, click on Manage.
In the left-hand column click on Device Manager
Does anything in there represent your iPod? Does it have a yellow triangular warning symbol on it? (Note that you may want to check under Disk Drives and Universal Serial Bus controllers if you don't see it).
If you're seeing something that indicates it is the iPod (you can double click on them to see more info) double click on it and choose the option to uninstall the device. Then, restart the computer with the iPod attached and let it go through the normal process of installing new hardware. Then see if you can get iTunes to recognize it.

when i try and open itunes a memo pops up saying "itunes could not connect to this iPhone. This device is no longer connected" my iphone is not plugged into my mac so i dont know why its mentioning an iphone nor why i cant open my itunes library?
Each time you connect your iPhone to iTunes, you need to eject it before closing iTunes by clicking on the little "eject" icon shown in iTunes. It seems that sometime in the past, you did not do that.
I'm not sure how to undo the previously done damage, but maybe a reboot of your Mac would help. -
