Pop up message when connecting to server

I tried uploading some files to the remote server and I got a
pop up message saying "Dreamweaver cannot determine the remote
server time. The Select Newer and Synchronize commands will not be
available." What does this mean?

I had the same problem. Installing the update fixed the issue
for me.
http://www.adobe.com/support/dreamweaver/downloads_updaters.html
But be sure to read the notes, especially if you originally
installed DW from a Web download.

Perhaps yes, firewall, and browser popup blockers have been
known to cause some behavioral, and connectivity issues within
Acrobat.com
Users have had success with allowing *.acrobat.com as a
trusted site locally, to see if that allows connectivity.
Also what browser, and OS are you using?
If still in the Unix environment, do you have access to a
Windows, or Mac environment?

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You will have to re enter your Wi-Fi password.
If nothing above helped, restart your router.
No data is lost due to a reset.

Not the iPad - your computer must be running iTunes 10.7 in order to sync. It has nothing to do with iTunes on the iPad.

Im receiving the following error message when trying to connect a Clickfree portable hdd.
I am also recieving the message when connecting a WD portable hdd that was previously working

Regarding uninstalling, this is from the FAQ on the MacFuse site (http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/wiki/FAQ):
Q 2.3. How can I uninstall MacFUSE?
A: Launch the Mac OS X System Preferences application and go to the MacFUSE preference pane. Click on the "Remove MacFUSE" button. This will uninstall all MacFUSE components except the preference pane itself.
You can keep the MacFUSE preference pane around should you decide to install MacFUSE again in the future. If you do wish to remove it, you do it just like how you would remove any other non-Apple preference pane: In System Preferences, control-click (right-click) on the MacFUSE icon and you will see "Remove ..." as an action.
Only if you had the "Show Beta Versions" button checked in the MacFUSE prefpane, you'll have a property list (plist) file remaining at this point:/Library/Preferences/com.google.macfuse.plist. To remove it, you should uncheck the button before you remove the prefpane as described above.
Note that an official (correct) MacFUSE installation will have a preference pane if you have MacFUSE 2.0 or later installed. If you have an older version of MacFUSE, you can uninstall as follows.
The other thing you can do if you're having problems is go into System Preferences and there should be an icon for MacFuse. By going into that there may be an option to disable it. If so, do that first before attempting to uninstall and try mounting your drives again.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to pop up a message when saving document.
To achieve it, you should custom the edit form page.
You can use the SharePoint Designer
to customize the behavior of the "save" button.
You should add the "onclick" method to the submit button, and put your JavaScript there.

YasmineH your web browser is blocking the installation of the AAM Detect plug-in. I would recommend using a different web browser or installing through the Creative Cloud Desktop application. Trying to access emails,message reads,connection to server failed.

to server failed,have tried resetting and deleting and reinstalling but still get same message.

Okay, I found the answer. I had hacked the domain.xml for this some time ago (this task has been off and on a lot) and forgotten.
I found the tsom_oes reference in there and removed it. Now it deploys.
Hopefully this helps someone else some day... probably not though, eh?

Windows pop-up box when connecting ipod

I recently started getting a windows pop up box when connecting my ipod. It doesn't effect function of the ipod or itunes, however if I close the box it will continue to periodically re-open. This just started recently. The box is a typical mass storage device box like one would get if you plugged in a USB thumbdrive. I played with options and couldn't figure out a way to stop the box from opening. Thanks for your help.

Long hangs when connecting to server

This has been a long-standing annoyance...
We have an Xserve with 10.5 in the office.
When I click on the "Network" icon in the sidebar on my Mac, it almost
instantly displays a list of all machines on the nework.
I then double click the Xserve's icon and the wait begins: first the
beach ball followed after a while by a message window "Looking up
server.local...".
That continues for more than a whole minute until I'm prompted for my
password (it's stored in the keychain) and finally a window pops up
listing all the available shared folders/volumes on the server.
Double-clicking any of them mounts it immediately on my Mac.
Now I keep aliases for the volumes I need to mount regularly. One of
them connects with only a short delay of around 15 secs and no password
prompts.
However a new alias I created today takes *several minutes* to mount the
respective volume and that just doesn't seem right.
What could possible cause these varied delays?
Why does it do the "looking up" thing if the server can be seen in the
network pane?

That's consistent with a DNS error and DNS timeouts (or maybe network or routing errors), and the use of the .local mDNS Bonjour domain implies no DNS is configured, and Mac OS X Server expects to have DNS. "USB Device Not Recognized" Message when connecting iPod Nano

I get the following windows pop up when connecting my son's iPod Nano

I have successfully connected this device to this computer before so I don't know what has changed.

This did not work for me. I have a laptop that was running Windows XP, and it had no problems recognizing the iPod. I was having problems with XP, and rather then reinstall XP, I did a clean install of Vista. I did a settings transfer, so the new install of iTunes came already configured--I mention this since I don't know if it was a factor.
When I plugged in the iPod, I got the USB Device Not Recognized. The usbstor.inf file did not fix the problem. However, the solution at http://www.winvistabeta.com/groups/275128/ipod-usb-device-not-recognized/message .aspx did fix the problem. Do this:
Reset the iPod:
1. Unplug the iPod.
2. Turn the hold switch to HOLD and then back to off.
3. Hold the Center and Menu buttons for 6 seconds until you get the Apple logo when you release them.
4. Plug in the iPod. It should now be recognized.
This worked fine for me the first time. Thanks! Jack
